OT: frankie, stocks are beyond using common sense.

I've only been playing since 8/02. At one point I had doubled my original investment. Now, because I have learned what is going on, I have lost all but 50% of what I started with. There seems to be no rhyme nor reason as to why stocks move. I have invested in ones with increased sales, buying back shares, coming out with new products, paying off all debt, and the stock goes down. Example APT. I had thought that getting up at 4AM or so and watching investment stuff on TV would give me an edge, only to see that it makes no difference whatsoever. It seems the MM make whatever playing field they wish to be on and we, on the sidelines, are required to try and figure out what they are doing and jump in. Of coarse we will jump the wrong way more often than the right way.

At this point, like you, I am frustrated because I have tied up too much in GZFX. However, in the meantime, as I have nothing else to do, I have been watching other runs and have been trying to hone my skills.

Maybe, maybe, GZFX will come back to where I can dump enough at no loss to have something to play with elsewhere. The bottom line is I believe that this could be a real winner but I am so anxious to get on with my investing cycle I will probably not stay around for the long haul.

OT: w0od, thanks for the info. Clears up some of my questions. I found today I can set up about 24-30 stocks on 30 second update and then go in for an up 10% or up 15% as frequently as I wish to. Then, using a level II or more in the background I can check on any increases. Also, combined with member marks on you, others like EVO, onmitrader, cats, SSP and others I think I may get a grasp of the overall picture. It's astounding how fast this stuff moves.
I beleive you must have several screens avialable which I do not have and not take the time to have a cup of Joe.

OT: By the way I refilled frig to pay off. bet to w0od and I've drank half of it on the way to the computer. It may cloud my otherwise superb judgement used in my posts,

As I posted before, the PR said ends January 31, it also said the DVD players will not be sent until the 4 months have elapsed which is not mentioned on the home page. One person I was communicating with couldn't figure why they would send the player AFTER the 4 months if they were trying to get subscribers who may not have a DVD player?

OT: eSignal does look good but cheapest, even on an annual plan is $49 a month. While contemplating what I can do with my present setup, I can get at least 15-18 micro floater charts on my screen that update every 30 seconds. Doesn't have the ask/bid waiting list and things but if I saw one or two that I'm really interested in I could have windows open in the background with Level II. I'm just going to have to play with what I've got for now. Thanks for the information though.

Netflix/TiVo. Don't know the source for a disclaimer from TiVo but this is on cbs market watch and says updated at 6:10pm.

skyshrink, the below is an excerpt from an article wick50 posted earlier (#5617) and makes you wonder if someone read it early this morning, inserted TiVo as a logical team player if Netflix is looking, and then that esculated into the false rumor? Sure gave their stocks a ride for 15% I think I read.

There was a Holiday. That would still make your one way service 6 & 7 days which doesn't seem at all good.

While you were out I have been doing a lot of jabber that could be interpreted as bashing. I have mentioned service also. So I actually was simply providing you and others my data and get input on if the service is good or bad.

yes wick, the 6 out would probably work very well. Considering you aren't going to watch a movie every single day or night, or want to watch one a couple of times, you would probably always have a new movie available even with a 9 or 10 day turnaround.

I have no personal experiences with others to compare services. Nor do I know how to rank the service. If I rented games I would not be able to even enter into a comparison discussion because BB and Net don't.

That said, let me throw out my very limited experience with movies only and anyone who is in the know can compare further.

I became a subscriber at 2PM Tuesday, on Thursday it showed 3 titles shipped which arrived on Monday. Only 6 days after joining. The titles were my #3, #12, and #13 choices.

As I had made a poor choice on one, I watched one, and sent two back on Tuesday afternoon before last mail pickup at the post office. I sent the third back on Thursday.

Today, also a Tuesday, I see they have shipped 2, my #6 and #11 and if they arrive at the speed of the intial order
on Friday or Saturday, it should mean a 10 or 11 day turnaround. (over a Holiday weekend)

Other info: I'm in St.Louis 306 miles from Franklin and 320 miles from National Fulfillment in Nashville..

bruce, while you were busy boarding up we received assurance from wickw50 that it will make a run in two weeks.
