Well I just drove by the Mass store and they are closed and I called Maine and they said they are shut down. So the website is wrong.
Massachusetts location is closed as well. New Hampshire location looks like its right behind, a move to WA doesn't change the fact that they are struggling so bad for money that they are closing half of their stores. IMO
No I'm sorry I will clarify,
... Confirmed hours are 10am-5pm m-f.. At around 2 yesterday they just happened to close for some reason. But they are scheduled til 5, a drastic cut from before.
Those hours are inaccurate.. I was told company wide was cutting however the only posted hours I can vouch for is NH since I have seen it.... 10-5 M-F that is it. And when I drove by after work at 2:00 pm yesterday they were closed. So that's the only thing I can say for sure, call the stores if you want hard proof
Yea its definitely not a traffic thing.. That street is so busy after 5 and on weekends.. Plus all the stores cut.. They must be really hurting.
Went to pick up something for my garden today at the NH store and they closed at 5, and they cut their hours drastically from 10-7 six days a week and 12-5 Sundays to 10-5 five days a week and no weekend's, called the other stores and they said company wide hours cuts were happening, this can't be a good sign.
When I talked to the one in NH he said they were getting better but still not doing well, I wonder which employee is lying lol
Perfectly put.
No, just how they were doing, he said they get better month to month but still not making more then they spend. I know he wouldnt be dumb enough to get into specifics, and I wouldnt be dumb enough to ask about specifics.
I have no idea, the kid there said they dont have a manager but he might become one or something. I get that most stores dont profit in the first year, but if theyre going to do a press release saying 1 million in revenue in its first year, id atleast like to see half of that. Assuming they are paying those kids a decent wage they must not be doing 1/8th of sales they said they would.
Well the kid also said that there Mass store isnt profitable either, and thats been around for a long time. But he said the Maine store does good. I get what you mean though, I just dont see what wholesale outfits they have so far.
Ok , makes sense, thank you.
its just aggravating to see them open up next to a mom and pop shop and get their butts kicked. I expected them to use their buying power to shut that place down. But to not even profit one month? I just do not see what were investing in. seems like they are using our money to keep crappy stores open. I know some of their stores do well but if the profits from those go towards keeping others afloat, its a bad business model.
its been close to a year now that the NH store has been up, their press release said it would do 1 million in revenue. A few months back I checked in to see how it was, and the kid working said there hasnt been a profitable month since they opened. So im not sure if I will sell or hold on, I bought in pretty low.
Yea that or I'm a shareholder who does research in the stock I buy like a professional, and has owned a PC online store. But great call clown face
Haha idk why they'd lie, maybe because of the national shipping, but other online stores usually just drop ship straight from distributors.. Giving you even more facility's to ship from and newer product. Soooo looks like this store is even farther behind the curve.
That website is not new in any way, it's the same exact way it's always been, they just wrote an article about it to get people talking. What a great company they are, lying to create buzz.
There's no pictures because they do not even have a sign up yet. And the interior has boxes and bottles all over the ground. And the walls are a weird shade of green. I bet they're not showing us because you would probably be able to see their competitor in it, since they opened up right next to another store. But I agree with you the most negative part of PHOT is it's lack of PR's
Check out the place, let us know how it looks, all the reviews I get are good from them, but you're right looks homemade.
Well we should all hope they do, have you been there?
Hope you all know that the "store" in New Hampshire isn't even open, which means they lied in their press release saying it was. Drove by today, total mess.
