What's with the volume?
I don't know Dr. Pandey but it seems he cared a great deal about SCD suffers but not about shareholders. XKEM Nigeria is going to continue to produce Nicosan regardless of what happens to XKEM common shareholders.
>Everything should be up now though.
Up and then some, pages are loading as fast as ever!
Thanks for the reply, FFJ
Edit: It's back up and running now.
SI just went down, I'm getting 'Server Error in '/' Application.":

Shouldn't that be Formerly Not Admin (Bob)?

Going to see the Bela & The Boys at their Carnegie Hall debut June 30th and again Sept. 3rd.
I agree but then to be fair praise should also be done privately. A moderator, I'm sorry I forgot who it was, responded to one of my posts saying he deleted praise on the board(s) he moderates. The post he made here saying that was then deleted by I don't know who.
Some kids need to be told what to do.
You didn't answer my question adequately privately and you still don't see the inconsistancy in your answer.
If moderators are playing games everyone on the thread should know just as if they are doing their job right everyone should know.
>The discussion of deletions is forbidden because it leads to nothing but problems and tons and tons of worthless posts. This is best handled privately
Then praise you should also be handled privately.
I raised the issue with Matt in a PM. He asked me if I ever moderated a busy board that a little praise goes a long way. When I answered him that it should be done privately if criticism isn't allowed he didn't reply.
On the XKEM board all praise remains any criticism is immediately deleted along with some bearish posts that are on topic. Also the bears are frequently the subject of personal attacks that aren't deleted for hours.
Why is praising moderators allowed but questioning the job they do considered off topic?
Volume was also was light when XKEM bottomed at .18 in March. Hopefully we're in for a similar bounce NOW or at least soon.
I think after today's action some of you might need to crack a smile. I originally posted this at night so many might have missed it, enjoy!

Any idea how many shares the PIPErs have left that they got at those levels?
The 15% will probably come from the all ready mentioned Nigerian private placement. I raised the possibility this morning before the 8-K.

Thank you
What's up with the big price drop today?
I wonder if XKEM's going to PR the big loan at the same time as the Nigerian private placement so that the total will cover the 14 mil that the 10K said they needed:

The cost of refining these formulations and completing the build out, equipping and opening the facility are projected to be in excess of $14,000,000. We have not yet obtained the financing necessary to support this development, and we may be unable to do so.
I hope you're right about that:
In round numbers rounded down:
1,5000,000,000/2.8%=42,000,000
42,000,000/200=210,000 each
It's good news but I don't see it having any impact on PPS. Nothing on this board does. Read Lochute's posts about the ratio of XKEM investors that read IHUB and if they don't read IHUB I doubt they're on top of all the filings.
Please stick to discussing XKEM I'd hate to see you banned.
Have a great day!
Please stay on topic.
Your post didn't say IMO before or after you edited it. Judging by the PM you sent me you clearly didn't spend your time in Matt's jail brushing up on the TOU.
Fact? How can you say that? Ask Drift if he thinks that's fact or it's his take.
>As Drift mentioned that the PPS is held down for the Nigerians, this is a fact otherwise we would have gapped HUGE already.
Are you sure? Sounds like it might take some time. This is from the bottom of page 27 of the 10K:
http://yahoo.brand.edgar-online.com/fetchFilingFrameset.aspx?FilingID=5105088&Type=HTML
Xechem Nigeria has developed small-scale formulations which have shown efficacy in the treatment of Sickle Cell Disease and must further refine and standardize this formulation for consistent production scale quantities sharing uniform active ingredients.

WARNING this is test of the 200 DMA, this is only test. If news had been reported in timely fashion you'd be placing a buy order right now and we'd be testing the 200 DMA, but this is only a test.
They'll probably announce the bank loan at the same time as the Nigerian private placement.
Right, good point.
>The Market Cap is $33m. Comparing that to money borrowed it isn't even logical.
When it comes to valuation borrowed money is a liability not an asset.
I doubt XKEM shareholders will get shares of XKEM Nigeria from the IPO, what XKEM will get is an infusion of cash IMO. What the terms are will tell a lot about how much management cares about the common shareholders. If they're going to give up 20-33% of XKEM Nigeria they better get a pile of cash back.
Here's what $20 million looks like!
I copied and pasted that from a satan post on Raging Bull. Over the last few months he's been just as right and/or wrong as most here.
BTW recently drifterfcrc has totally earned my respect. He has a good grasp of the TOUs. He's a balanced bull, many here could learn a lot from him.
Yep. It's a red flag and I'm sure there others here that didn't know either.
About XKEM's private placement investor Marge Chassman's husband David Blech:
In 1990, Mr. Blech founded D. Blech & Company, which, until it ceased doing
business in September 1994, was a registered broker-dealer involved in
underwriting biotechnology issues. In May 1998, David Blech pled guilty to two
counts of criminal securities fraud, and, in September 1999, he was sentenced by
the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York to five years'
probation, which was completed in September 2004. Mr. Blech also settled
administrative charges by the Commission in December 2000 arising out of the
collapse in 1994 of D. Blech & Co., of which Mr. Blech was president and sole
stockholder. The settlement prohibits Mr. Blech from engaging in future
violations of the federal securities laws and from association with any
broker-dealer. In addition, the District Business Conduct Committee for District
No. 10 of NASD Regulation, Inc. reached a decision, dated December 3, 1996, in a
matter styled District Business Conduct Committee for District No. 10 v. David
Blech, regarding the alleged failure of Mr. Blech to respond to requests by the
staff of the NASD for documents and information in connection with seven
customer complaints against various registered representatives of D. Blech & Co.
The decision found that Mr. Blech failed to respond to such requests in
violation of NASD rules and that Mr. Blech should, therefore, be censured, fined
$20,000 and barred from associating with any member firm in any capacity.
Furthermore, Mr. Blech was discharged in bankruptcy in the United States
Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York in March 2000.
Mr. Blech did not lend us any money. Two loans were made under the agreement,
both of which were made by Ms. Chassman, totaled $500,000 and bore interest at
6% per annum. We repaid Ms. Chassman the entire $500,000 out of proceeds of our
private placements of units on August 9, 2005. According to the agreement, we
also issued the following individuals the following number of shares of our common stock:
From NOVELOS THERAPEUTICS, INC.
Form:10KSB Filing Date:3/21/2007
