Yeah, simply mind blowing.
didn't they have a scheduled outage on tuesday as well?
Maybe they need to have a few drinks before they go fixing things that ain't broken.
They didn't want to miss out on any of their weekend I'd guess!
I was just telling Jorj
It sure is a reflection on the dedication those guys carry around.
Yeah, i don't really give two shits.
But damn dumb shits.
but you'd thing common sense would dictate them wait until after the close of the market.
i guess some one on salary out there didn't want to work late or at all this weekend.
So typical of the nominal effort the crew puts in over there.
So, before I was rudly interupted by SI goofs,
Here's an edit to my last post
Regarding JPM>>>>>>
gotta hold out for the moment on SS of AFCI.
my five minute ticker is suggesting it is primed for an intraday move here.
when it begins to look tired
I'm going to toss dem lucky bones.
Okay, i took it, and running with it for a while-
JPM shorted mas here 31.42.
31.2 is mt average
32 1/2 is my "tail between my legs" cover point.
Yep.
Man, can you believe the mentality of those people running SI?
Who the heck in their right mind shuts down their site for routine updating(more breaking of shit that ain;'t broke) during regular market hours?
Talk about a pea brain!
Okay I see what you are looking at.
I had to use the link though
I'm looking at it more from the perspective of Jan. '03 here.
Edited out: I have my data wrong.
Well, haven't added any of the low priced ones yet.
Keeping a close eye on BGO MNG
Almost pulled the trigger on CDE this morning
but hesitating
wish I could see it, your SPX chart.
Can you send a link?
I was thinking 885 might be the top
That was the HOD today
Again a lot will hinge on the M.E. situation
but things are weakening
And bulls won't get a free pass on Q1 and Q2 like they are looking for.
So, if we get to your 920 I'll be selling with both fists
Um, if I still have any hands left by then<G>
I'm keeping the faith..
...it's hard
And testing
But I added DROOY today
Also a bit more hmy and pdg.
I could bail if the war resolve hits fast but I'm trying to maintain.
Hi marcos.
Seems the question has brought me here to the discussion.
SO I'll respond here.
I echo many of Norma's sentiments. BBs or pinkies are usually a red light for a scam. Or that is what I've come to learn in my limited experience; so I rarely even look at such stocks.
However as Norma pointed out, here in the states many juniors are found on the BB so it forces me to at least look at them.
Now you've known me for close to five years and I believe you and have a certain level of mutual respect.
At least to the degree that you know I am not a stock promoter and would never mention a stock with the intention of bettering my position or scamming others
Ironically, I currently have no position in the stock in question
I sold it back in Sept. Moving my account to another brokerage it is way too expensive(commissions on stocks under a buck) to buy them so all I have been able to do is watch in frustration :(
I will respect your wishes here and on SI as well though.
Because frankly
Your friendship means more to me than any silly stock.
Be well my friend
P.S> I also should state that in no way do I think you were trying to be offensive to me but raising the question.
Nor did I take it that way.
I'm just falling in line to post my opinion on the topic.
Heck, this is the first post I've made here in maybe six months or more
So Maybe Matt shouls put another candy cane in your stocking<GGG>
We will know soon if SI will rise like a Phoenix from their maintenance session.
What day is today?
<font color=green>August</fonts>
test
<font color=green>August</fonts>
test
<font face=Algerian><font color=green>August</fonts></fonts>
test.
<font face=Algerian><font color=green><font size=20>August</fonts></fonts></fonts>
Started a long position in GG.
Yeah. That's what it means.
Actually
You can't really make out the stains
But I know they're there<G>
Check out the thread for the stock symbol "BEER"<GGGG>
First gold update on the new thread.
Yellow gunk 312.2 +1.20
Right on schedule.
I'll donate a pool table.
It has some stains on the felt
But the slate is true
and flat
Hi MattBob, BobMatt
Is this the place to ask questions?
In reading that PM about the new features
I noticed there is the save button for messages sent to us which we have the option to save.
Have you guys given any thought to making that "save" feature available for say all messages? Even or especially ones that aren't addressed to us?
I think that would be a great advantage.
Have other questions/suggestions for you later on when time is not so tight.
Thanks
Site looks good.
I plan on playing around with some of the customizable features tonight.
Yeah, it was like this last year when SI was having sporatic problems.
Playing message tag.
Not knowing where my next message was waiting or where I was gonna post next.
Hi Norma.
Yes, it is a rapid fire site.
I wonder if it is because of low traffic or maybe it runs on high octane<G
And I can post a traditional chart.
Don't ferget dat!
Hi Alan.
Important thing is that we're here. Right?
Yes, last I checked, I'm here!
So I'm here than.
Good ofr me!
Took me a couple tries to remember my password!
I'm compulsive. As soon as I posted my last message and saw the post number, I had to get to 11111 and see who had it<GGG>
Howdee Phil.
Hi Bob, Matt, Matt, bob.
Just poking around a bit. Thanks for the preview feature. Was wondering though why I can't just post a message from "preview"? as it is I either have to hid edit or back on my browser.
Thaanks.

Unisys, Microsoft, Baltimore Technologies to Collaborate on Identrus Enabled
Trust Solution Companies to offer integrated, packaged Windows-based solution,
which significantly decreases time to market
BLUE BELL, Pa., May 7, 2001 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Unisys Corporation, Microsoft
Corp., and Baltimore Technologies announced today that they will design,
develop, and market the first packaged solution of an Identrus enabled
architecture for the Microsoft Windows 2000 platform.
This collaboration means that the global, trusted Identrus infrastructure for
business-to-business electronic commerce is now available in a packaged solution
that will enable financial institutions to build a cost-effective secure
environment for high-value transactions quickly and efficiently in a Windows
2000 operating environment.
The necessary financial applications for a complete solution will also be
incorporated.
Through the Identrus system, corporate customers of Identrus member financial
institutions can conduct electronic transactions with confidence in the
integrity, authenticity, and privacy of the communications.
For example, a loan officer can authorize a letter of credit, from virtually any
Microsoft Windows 2000 desktop on the Identrus system, to any bank customer with
the assurance that the identities of both parties have been conclusively
established and a binding record of the transaction has been created.
"The lack of a robust trust solution associated with high-value Internet
transactions can be a tremendous barrier to the growth of e-business," remarked
Sunil Misra, Managing Principal, Unisys Worldwide Enterprise Security Practice.
"The Identrus trust framework removes that barrier and enables financial
institutions to become trusted intermediaries for e-commerce. This solution will
help financial institutions minimize the risk associated with on-line
transactions. And it will help them maximize the opportunities presented by
electronic commerce, because they can now offer more value-added services to
their clients. Our fully integrated, pre-tested package contains a proven
architecture that is both flexible and scalable for fast, efficient
implementation of the Identrus framework."
As part of the three-way alliance, Unisys, Microsoft, and Baltimore will offer a
packaged solution for the Identrus system, which operates on a Microsoft Windows
2000 platform and Baltimore Technologies' UniCERT Public Key Infrastructure
(PKI) security system.
Unisys will provide applications, systems integration, project management, and
consulting services necessary to implement the packaged solution.
"This solution is designed to ensure that financial institutions can quickly
establish a trust infrastructure with reduced capital costs, while leveraging
best-of-breed technology from the leaders in the field," said Kim Legelis,
Solutions Marketing Manager at Baltimore Technologies. "Through Baltimore's
Financial Trust Solution, our current solution for the Identrus system, we
provide a unique combination of e-security hardware, software, and professional
services specifically addressing financial institutions' concerns about time to
market, cost, flexibility, and expertise required to implement an Identrus
solution. This new initiative expands our range of alternatives for Identrus
system deployments."
The solution includes Identrus-compliant certification authority (CA),
registration authority (RA), smart card management, Transaction Coordinator,
Digital Signature Messaging System (DSMS), Validation Services (OCSP Responder),
FIPS 140-1 Level 3 Hardware Security Modules, Identrus Signing Interface Layer
(ISIL), and secure Identrus transaction logging.
Other Unisys business partners will also supply components of this solution.
In addition, customers will be able to choose from multiple hardware
configurations that scale to support mid- to high-range performance
requirements.
For customers requiring high performance and scalability, the optimal hardware
platform will be the Unisys e-@ction Enterprise Server, equipped with up to 32
Intel processors and the de-facto standard architecture for large-scale
Microsoft- and Intel-based servers.
These configurations will enable financial institutions to operate a secure
Identrus infrastructure, ATM network, and Web-enabled applications on a highly
scalable secure server.
According to Bill Hartnett, global director of financial services at Microsoft,
"Interest in the Identrus global trusted network is very high among our
financial institution customers. Implementing Identrus functionality on
Microsoft's .NET Enterprise Servers and Windows 2000 operating system
demonstrates to the industry our commitment to an operating environment built
for mission-critical business needs. The integrated solution package we are
developing provides the business agility financial institutions and merchants
need to take full advantage of the Internet quickly and cost effectively, while
conducting business in an extraordinarily secure environment."
"We are pleased to see these key technology and security providers working
together on this important initiative," said Guy Tallent, President and CEO of
Identrus. "The collaboration between these companies will enhance our financial
institutions' ability to be up and running and to deploy their Identrus enabled
applications and services more quickly."

*** end of story ***
That's too bad.
I think you have the right idea using it for posting charts and such. I don't know how much a problem it is if we post stuff on *non stock* threads, but I have been limiting myself to those areas with the grapgics.
Hey Kevin, great to see you here.
Thanks for the trip down memmory lane!
P.S> I had responded to your messages on the BEER thread, but IH was doing some stuff and inadvertently deleted them<G> IF I could remember what I had posted, I would repost. Maybe tonight if I dip into the brew!
I took the liberty of starting a gardening thread over here

But it's too beautiful here today for me to stay indoors much longer. Have a good day everyone.
KeyLime Cheese cake
Ingredients
1 1/2 cups finely ground graham cracker crumbs
2 tablespoons white sugar
1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
1 1/4 pounds cream cheese, softened
3/4 cup white sugar
1 cup sour cream
3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
3 eggs
3/4 cup key lime juice
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Directions
1 To make Crust: In a bowl stir together the graham cracker crumbs and 2 tablespoons sugar, stir in the butter well. Pat the mixture into the bottom and 1/2 inch up the side of a buttered 10 inch springform pan and bake the crust in a preheated 375 degree F (190 degree C) oven for 8 minutes. Transfer the pan to a rack and cool.
2 In a large bowl with an electric mixer, beat cream cheese and 3/4 cup sugar until smooth, beat in the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Beat in the sour cream, flour, lime juice and vanilla. Beat the mixture until it is smooth.
3 Pour the filling over the crust. Bake the cheesecake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes, reduce the temperature to 250 degrees F (120 degrees C) and bake for 50 to 55 minutes longer, or until center is barely set. Let the cheesecake cool on a rack, then chill it, covered, overnight. Remove the cheesecake from the pan and transfer it to a cake stand.
