CALM DOWN folks. ZMapp is expected to go into clinical trials in early 2015. The new study explains why ZMapp could have been effective. Using an imaging technique called electron microscopy, researchers found that two of the ZMapp antibodies bind near the base of virus, appearing to prevent the virus from entering cells. A third antibody binds near the top of the virus, possibly acting as a beacon to call the body's immune system to the site of infection.

It does somewhat conflicts but we are at the mercy of Congress support/approval funds. I don't see major movement for IBIO unless news of contracts/test trials for ZMapp and/or Buyout/merger with bigger pharm.

My take here..they are testing the drugs favipiravir, brincidofivir, toremifine and interferons first because it's available (supply wise). Now if result is not great...or significant ...I hope by then either Caliber or any other pharms (GSK) able to use IBIO tech. to speed up ZMapp. We will be next in line to be tested IMO.
