LOL! Platforms updated as of today with correct date / time, so you can put the glass down
Focus may be on these acquisitions come Monday. Have these acquisitions provided ROI since being under the $ACB umbrella?
$ACB’s 15 acquisitions over the past two years include:
MedReleaf, CanvasRX, Peloton Pharmaceutical, Aurora Deutschland, H2 Biopharma, Urban Cultivator, BC Northern Lights, Larssen Greenhouses, CanniMed Therapeutics, Anandia Labs, HotHouse Consulting, MED Colombia, Agropro, Borela, and the pending acquisition of ICC.
Market Cap $6.7 Billion $ACB
For the readers: Aurora Cannabis Market Cap: $6.7 billion is considered one of the best stocks for full exposure to the cannabis industry. Aurora is one of the largest cannabis companies in the world. It operates eight licensed production facilities, with five sales licenses and operations in 18 countries. The company has a funded production capacity of over 500,000 kilograms. Aurora recently acquired MedReleaf in a $2.5-billion merger, the industry’s largest.
Selling climax. Awesome, buddy. Added a few more myself. Tight stops.
Correct, but it’s a reference point in time. At least a baseline.
FOMO drove all cannabis to those highs. I wouldn’t focus on talkative figure as the entire market was in correction. There’s is so much more to the bigger picture that I cannot type right now. Have to look at everything holistically.
If so, I figure those are built into the recent correction. I don’t have it in front of me, as I’m not near my office.
$ACB Sept earnings were impressive numbers without being able to dig into the filings. 79.3M (Canadian Dollar) profit and sales up 223%. Can’t imagine the new figures with the legalization.
Very interesting earnings report coming Monday.
Picked up more here...
I know Bondi personally and she’d be better for cannabis than Christie.
2015: Chris Christie would crack down on legalized marijuana as president.
Of all people.... interesting.
Waiting for reload signal. All targets mentioned this morning hit. 7.57 is the level of resistance yesterday turned support, prior to the Jeff Sessions News.
7.63 back on deck. Broke support levels.
The devil is in the details of the acquisition is what’s most important in my opinion. It’s the circumstances and payment options that enabled the acquisition happen. Those financials will be public soon.
Hope that makes sense.
However, acquisitions could materialize to be more substantial to larger institutions, than their ability to produce weed. $ACB is more than a farming arm for cannabis and has the reach that many others don’t - due to the large acquisitions made over the course of the past two years. THEREFORE, $ACB has positioned itself for growth and expansion more than I’ve seen or heard as compared to it’s counterparts in the sector.
Earnings could be mixed, regardless of all the bullish acquisitions, etc. Comes down to how the analyst and institutions assessing $ACB feel about financial statements and guidance. Don’t want any hidden preferred shares or convertible notes piping up out of no where.
I don’t have any figures on my person to compare, at the moment.
Earnings are always 50/50 regardless of biased opinions and imposed feelings.
Tick - Tock $ACB wants to retest that $8.00
Solid buy signal. $$$ folks.
Above 7.76 / 7.75 should give short term buy signal. Stop at 7.60 / 7.55.
7.63 next on deck if 7.70 doesn’t materialize.
7.70 looking stable; see if holds.
See if that 7.78/7.75 can hold. Else be looking to see how the 7.63 area holds up.
The 7.57 area was the strong resistance; now support we discussed, prior to the news breaking. That area must certainly hold to prevent further downside.
Awesome job buddy! Not sure yet - watching at the moment. Have to see how time and price play themselves out.
Yes, but you have to consider the context and differences between the two. TLRY has a much smaller FLOAT therefore the price can swing in extremes (both directions), not to mention at the time to $300 brokers were running out of the amount of shares able to be shorted (requiring shorts to be covered same day; driving up buying volume when closed out), and the Options market was totally caught off guard - until CBOE made adjustments.
Everything can not be compared apples to apples without understanding the context between the two.
Sounds good buddy. Wish you the best!!
Regardless of where this goes or doesn’t go (because it’s all speculation, assumptions, and personal beliefs) main goal is to stick to ones plan. Everyone must follow their trading / investment plan.
Looking forward to double digits, eventually. I’ll continue to welcome the profits and volatility of this sector and $ACB. No-one ever went broke taking profits along the way. Always opportunities to re-enter any security (stock) on pullbacks.
Good luck to you my friend. Always humbling to hear about people making money.
Keep in mind that many people probably piled into $ACB thinking today was earnings. Therefore, they may be pulling out cash (selling), due to this even not happening until the 12th. Not to mention the Jeff Sessions news creates an opportunity for people to take profits off the news. Cannabis is a very volatile news/event sector; therefore, must always be subjective of time and price - adjust positions as needed to protect profits and preserve your capital.
Anything’s possible. Won’t be long before he’s done pumping Canopy and turning his attention to the big boy, $ACB.
His wife runs a hedge fund; manipulation in my opinion. He’s down this a few times last month saying cannabis was over-valued and to stay away from it. Two days later he’s saying how it’s a great buy. EVERYONE has an agenda, regardless of who they are, or stand for.
Great time in room today. New eyes tomorrow with Mr. Sessions out of the picture.
Nice! I grabbed several thousand myself.
Re-entered at 7.83
7.70 next potential target if 7.90 doesn't hold.
See if 7.90 holds.
Looking at 7.96 / 7.89
May get your pullback here. Very extended intraday. If you haven't already bought in.
Not a fan of who called what. But, congrats.
Very true. Green Wave...
