Since President Obama met with China's President Xi, the visa situation has vastly improved. U.S. Citizens can now get a ten year visa with multiple entries (I asked for 6/year) in a matter of a few days.

Yes, I've always read 60-120 times per hour.
Chad's done a great job building this company and the IPO is timed perfectly with the TWEED marijuana growing system deal, and the established installation at MIT.
Looks like these were all scraped from SIAF's Facebook page.
You got some of the info from NewJerichoMan:

Thanks for sharing that info.
I'm happy to see Indoor Harvest here on iHub, and look forward to watching the progress of this company. When will trading begin?
Happy New Year to all!

My account showed 2 transactions like that plus a third similar entry that indicated a mandatory charge of $38. But it isn't really mandatory as I learned. Keep your eyes open for it, but perhaps you're just a lucky guy (or higher status than I am with TD).
Hi MikeD2020,
The same charge shows up in my TD account. I called, and very nicely said that I don't want to pay the $38. The account rep who answered was able to remove the fee without getting any approval, and it was a pleasant transaction.
Hey, it's worth nearly 5 shares!
Aloha mauiguy2,
According to my broker, I can buy SIAFD. Anyone can. My SIAF shares have not been converted yet, so they cannot be sold. So, people who have SIAF shares in their account and want to buy more should simply buy SIAFD. According to my broker, there is no restriction from buying, and never was.
I don't want to, but if I did want to sell SIAF at this point, I would have to get special permission by selling SIAFD short.
I definitely agree, empty. But I'll start to consider it at 5x.
Hi FT,
I am waiting for the stock to increase 5x before I think about selling.
Family matters have occupied my time, so I have not posted often. But I read this board much of the time.
I agree; my guess is that those estimates date from the days of 40 million outstanding shares. Also, both the 10,000 and the 5,800 estimates are not credible.
If there were 5,800 Swedish shareholders, I am fairly certain that more than 220 individuals would have tried to attend the JF presentations earlier this week.
The next U.S. investor meeting is being planned at this time. I'll post info as soon as I know it.
To clarify, I was speaking about the number of shares. The Rock Hill Group (US) alone holds more shares than Avanza, Nordnet, and Nils combined.
I also heard Solomon say 10,000 shareholders, but I believe that to be erroneous. His number includes many Volcanic Gold shareholders with tiny numbers of shares. Many of them don't even know they now hold a few shares of SIAF.
Actually, U.S. shareholders comprise the majority of investors in SIAF, although the Swedish base is highly significant as well.
According to the IMF chief economist, China's economic growth will slow, but remain healthy:
http://news.xinhuanet.com/english/china/2014-10/10/c_133704899.htm
A dual listing would benefit all shareholders, many of whom live or trade in the US. I've been told that a dual listing also would provide protection from short attacks, but I am not an expert about this.
Last year's $2m bond was not marketed at all, in any way that I know of. It was a private placement, with invitations going out to known friends of SIAF. It was discussed on this board, and made public, by individuals who received the offer.
I thought that Petrejus had changed the location of the $10 party to the Solomon Islands.
The Megafarm "Neighborhood"
I was searching today to learn more about the area of Zhongshan in which the megafarm is located. My search terms were variants of "Cuiheng New District developments" or "aquaculture in Cuiheng New District" or similar.
What I found out doesn't include any SIAF or megafarm info, and perhaps NewJerichoMan (or RealDutch) has already reported on this. It's about the Dutch engineering of the City of Islands, or the "Smart Island City Zhongshan" project, which I believe the megafarm is a part of.
First, is the article below, from http://www.waterfrontsnl.com/participant/kuipercompagnons_/. Click on the "more" link on the page to view a slide presentation:
City of Islands, Zhongshan, China
Located opposite of Shenzhen and Hong Kong along the Pearl River, this land reclamation area has been designated as a new urban and coastal city development zone of 20-50 km2. China Merchant group requested a group of consultants lead by DHV to make a proposal for a Conceptual Urban Design for the area. KuiperCompagnons brought to the team expertise in urban planning, urban design, landscape and architecture and introduced the implementation of the concept of “Building with Nature” and “Living with Water”. ??
Sustainable urban developments, especially in coastal environments like the Cuiheng New District, can only be achieved if they meet fundamental conditions for sustainable water management. The project area is located in the estuary of the Pearl River Delta where erosion and sedimentation are critical factors behind the morphology of the landscape and determined the location and shape of the City of Islands. ??
Each island of the City of Islands has a unique character and atmosphere. Each is different, but together they create an exciting variety of spaces and places. The dynamics of the fluvial and tidal flows create silting, and even mudflats in the Pearl River Bay area. Extended planning options are proposed on the locations where such silting and mudflat formation will occur. The expected mudflats can easily be changed into extensions to the islands. By creating these new or enlarged islands the City of Islands can ‘grow’ in a natural way. More
Second is a PDF from which I've extracted a sample below:
Rising from the Sea
A project that shows the potential for Sino-Dutch cooperation is the ‘Smart Island City Zhongshan’ project where Royal HaskoningDHV made crucial contributions in 2011. The city of Zhongshan on the west side of the Pearl River Delta, a short distance from Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Guangzhou and Macau, is by Chinese standards a rather small city of 3 million inhabitants. The city takes its name from the ‘father of modern China’, better known in the West as Sun Yat-Sen.
The city authorities commissioned Royal HaskoningDHV and KuiperCompagnons in 2011 to prepare a technical and strategic study and an urban design plan for the coastal expansion which will have a total surface area of 20 km2. The government had the ambition to develop the city of the future, a unique new waterfront smart city ‘Cuiheng New District’. The goal was to develop a ‘blue and green eco city’ with minimum environmental impact and maximum ecological value, by deploying a nature-driven design approach.
Royal HaskoningDHV used the Dutch ‘intelligent use of the sea’ to develop a conceptual master plan and a technical feasibility study for a sustainable eco-friendly water city on the islands. Among others, this resulted in systems that can utilize tidal movement and redirect sediment, thereby decreasing the risks associated with living on the coast. March last year, the Cuiheng District was officially opened and recognized as an important strategic platform for the long-term development of Zhongshan.
Olivia Lai also says in her prepared remarks that she didn't know Solomon Lee until she applied for this job.

Hi viking86,
I think it's a standard practice that was always intended to take place when the Company got a CFO.
There is more than one company that calls itself Euro China Capital. But SIAF's partner, Euro China Capital AB, is located in Stockholm.

In the app store, its called "TD Ameritrade Mobile"
I am not a professional trader, so perhaps it is not complete enough. But I see real time lists of the market makers on the bid and ask, number of shares offered or sought, and for what price.
For SIAF, I was always able to see Level II in this app from the beginning. For AAPL and F, the app said "Level II data not available." I needed to go online on my computer and find a setting in my TD Ameritrade profile and turn on "View Level II." Then it worked for all. It's a free app and a free service for me, but I do have a small account with them.
TD Ameritrade's app for iPhone works well for me. I can see Level II, and quotes are up to the minute. The app is free. I imagine you'd need to create an account on tdameritrade.com to use it.
Very clear and very well stated, Carog. Thank you for your observations and the information you shared.
Yes, I did. I would love to see it happen!
Hi Orreborren,
The document belongs to The Swede. It is a google doc, and he will be able to restore the questions as they existed before they were altered. This type of immature and destructive activity has happened on past SIAF conference call Q&A documents. Based on what is written, we can all guess the culprit.

Greetings, Ikea.
I am certainly not satisfied, but as I've said before I view SIAF as a long term investment. How long? I've told friends and family that I think the payoff will come between 2015 and 2017.
I do have an order in for more shares at a lower price, but I also hope that it won't drop that much. Personally, I am not adding any shares unless the price drops to .34 or below.

Funny, I don't see it any more. I see it listed in their tweets, in their Twitter sidebar on their page. But I can't actually find the article (I do find older stuff). Perhaps it's time to reboot my machine.
But, (like this iHub board name) they don't even have the company name right (it's "Food" not "Foods").
Very low credibility, if you ask me.
Their "article" or "latest prediction" seems to have been removed. I saw it earlier and don't see it now. These guys have been pumping the stock for quite some time, and are mostly into self promotion.
