"We maintain our focus on advancing a series of strategic licensing and commercialization opportunities that we anticipate will be completed shortly."
Two key words in this sentence: anticipate and shortly
They have been "anticipating" this for a long "short" while now. How much longer are they going to anticipate this happening? And what is the definition of shortly? Two years?
It's all about the semantics of not only what they say but how they say it. More play on words.
I guess time will tell "shortly".
My email, and IR response:
Jody,
I have a few questions relative to some things that have been mentioned by management that I am not sure we have seen:
1. We said a while back that we would be in CrossFit locations across the country. I have a friend who owns a Cross Fit in upstate South Carolina. They have never heard of Fuse Science, PowerFuse, ElectroFuse, or Enerjel. They have also talked with their owner friends in the Cross Fit owners circle and they too have not heard of Fuse Science or any of it's products. What happened with this and when will we get a public update? Why has this not been delivered as it was stated it would be?
"A: I am waiting for an update on the CrossFit Gyms initiative."
2. In one of the more recent filings or conference call, or both, there was mention of a new national distribution by "early summer". This has not been released as of yet. We are past early summer. When can we expect this to take place? Why do we, as a company, continue to make these statements premature when we are not delivering on them time and time again? Can this be corrected in future statements?
"A: There are several discussions taking place with new retailers, all of which are at different stages. We are making sure that we do not announce any new relationship until product is on its way or actually on the shelves. Prior experience has shown that many variables may lead to longer fulfillment so we are being cautious as to the timing of info being released."
I hope these are reasonable questions. As a concerned shareholder, I am seeing and hearing many things from Fuse Science that are not coming to terms in the market or in the delivery of what is stated. It is frustrating to continue to see this happen. How can this be corrected quickly? Why do we not continue to see updates to shareholders on some of the things that are going on? Even a tweet or Facebook post relative to where we are in the process of some of the key things we are moving towards.
"A: Because many of our incubating relationships have several layers/sign-offs to them, as noted above, we are being sensitive as to the timing of news release."
I look forward to your response. Have a great day!
Thank you,
Russell
I saw a few problems with the email and decided to take action with FUSE rather than rant about it on ihub where nothing would happen:

"Jody,
Looking at this advertisement, it makes me, as a consumer, think that I can go to any 3 of these stores, Walgreens, Drug Mart, and Kinney Drugs, and get Enerjel. I know that isn't the case, especially with Walgreens.
Also, normally when I receive an advertisement email like this, clicking on the images of the individual stores would take me directly to that website. Not only that, directly to the products at that store website.
Just a few notes on the email blast. If I'm a normal consumer and not an investor I'm going to get this email and head to my local Walgreens to try and pick up some Enerjel only to be upset that it isn't there when you told me it was (in this email that's how it reads). As an investor, I know this isn't the case.
I look forward to hearing back from you.
Thanks,
Russell"

I believe he will have 2 days of TW hats and 2 days of Nike check hats this weekend.
So if all 8000 stores are stocked prior to end of June with the same display we have already seen:
Qty 12 PowerFuse
Qty 8 ElectroFuse
Total 20 boxes per store
(Could be 30 boxes per display but looked like only 20)
If we assume $3 revenue per box:
$3 x 20 = $60 per store revenue to stock
$60 x 8000 stores = $480,000 revenue
That means:
1- their 300% rev for the qtr over last fiscal (approx $315k) is a low projection
Or
2- we are making less than $3 profit per box
Or
3- we won't be in all 8000 locations by end of June with REALIZED revenue.
Correct me if I'm wrong please.
"BASF. We don't make the products you buy. We make the products you buy better."
Anybody remember these commercials?
Nice analogy.
I think you left a 0 off that 26! LOL
It's not whether it rings true to me or not. I don't really care one way or the other whether you are telling the truth or it's BS. I guess the concern is what the perception could be from other posters/lurkers here that may not see all the posts.
Most of what I've seen from the research the guys have been doing at the Walgreens locations is vastly different in sales out figures compared to what you are sharing with us.
It doesn't add up. And, since you are reluctant to provide the information for the store, it appears you may not be providing completely accurate information.
BTW, I, too, live in the South.
Can you simply tell us the store location so someone can confirm? You've been talking about this for a while but you keep ignoring the request for the store info.
It doesn't add up.
So why is it you continue to state the terrible sales of this Walgreens you are speaking of yet you won't reveal the location?
Something's amiss here.
Still think its a toss up. You'll probably see a very short term pop based on all of the news from the CC but they did mention the need for another round of financing in the near future. If that means more shares and dilution we'll be back down again.
But, it depends on when that financing comes and how.
Not my estimate. The response was to HSmith who estimated that amount, or at least posed the question.
Right. It was a response to HSmith and his store numbers. The point is that it won't be close to that.
If it is we'll be out of Walgreens in a year.
See my earlier post on the $10 mil number.
$3.50 x 3 boxes = $10.50
$10.50 x 8000 stores = $84,000
$84,000 x 3 months = $252,000 per quarter
Not what we are hoping but even this would be progress from where we were last quarter.
Until marketing really starts to ramp up we will see somewhere between this and $5 million a quarter over the next 2 -3 quarters starting in July IMO.
Lets be safe and say $3.50 revenue per box.
$3.50 x 4 boxes = $14
$14 x 8000 stores = $112,000
$112,000 x 90 days = $10,080,000
Just a few bucks each quarter starting in July.
If we are half wrong that's $5 million July to Sept.
What does CG stand for?
"2) These stand alone locations are usually bereft of any customers from August through April every year...nobody goes till golf season....most of their stuff is overpriced... "
I beg to differ on this point. My closest GG is in Cary, NC right outside Raleigh and in Griff's backyard. I travel this area frequently and I was in this store a minimum of 15-20 times in the past 8 months. Not one time was I alone as a customer. The store always had quite a few ppl in there.
Do your research before you make ridiculous claims. Of course, given your track record, this won't happen.
New tweet from Fuse:
"@fuse_science: You can now get #PoweredByFuse at @golfgalaxy with Drops...check it out! http://t.co/U7E7QYPKP6"

That was a positive PR. Says products ARE on the shelves and
"...and, like Golf Galaxy, each will be announced once the products are available in-store."
That's what I wanted to hear. They are waiting to release the news when it is absolutely concrete!
The google images are from 2011. If you zoom in close enough you can see the watermark 2011 Google.
Rookie,
You've only made one other post since this post and that was shortly after on the same day. You haven't been here in 7 days! That's a long time as you are normally a consistent contributor.
Where have you been? Hope to hear from you soon!
I just received an email from Edwin Watts Golf and they are giving away a free bottle of 5 hr energy with each online purchase. Apparently 5 hr is really trying to stay ahead in market share. It's very interesting that they are "giving" them away now (March only).
It's on the homepage as well.

Can anyone comment on L2? Does it look like we are still ready to run up or is it building a sell off?
Can someone please tell me how issuing or getting ready to issue 95 million shares is good news?
Your not going to like the new ampules then. I just received my new ones last week. While it's easier to open without spewing it out the plastic is harder and makes it more difficult to get it all out.
They fixed the opening issue but created another issue in the process. They'll get it right. Just keep sending them feedback as much as you can.
"You do not expect a brand new product to sell as much as it did..."
$41k? How good are their expectations? I'm with Griff on his point. I think it's they didn't have the money to produce the product. I don't think it had anything to do with expectations.
Like some have been saying, the next 3-6 months is really going to tell the story with these guys. Can they produce enough demand? And can they produce enough product with limited funds to keep up with that demand?
I'm here because I think they can produce the demand and find a way to supply it. It may be dilution, as some have suggested and they referenced in their latest filing, but I think long term that's just a minor blip on the stock price. Again, time will tell.
Thanks Griff. Have it recorded and was getting ready to watch it. :(
I never said it was a lot of inventory. Those are your words, not mine. You said they had NO inventory. No means none, zero, nothing. $400k is not zero.
The story is beginning to change for this company and you continue to paint a "sky is falling" picture. Why? You surely don't believe it yourself. If you did you would be long gone from here.
What is your motivation? You never seem to answer this question when people ask you. Interesting.
They have $400k in inventory.
Where do you get they have no products to sell?
It's getting a little ridiculous that you continue to make statements that are false over and over again.
Being negative is one thing. Telling a lie on purpose is another.
Can you please tell us why you do this ALL the time?
When I last talked to a manager at a DSG in Greensboro, NC, he knew of the drops and noted they were in distribution at DSG. They had not hit the stores yet b/c of DSG distribution, not b/c of Fuse. Big difference.
I don't know where that stands now as that was a few weeks ago.
This was just the discussion I had with one manager. I don't know if what he was referencing was related only to his region or to all DSG's. I didn't ask that.
Post of the year thus far.
I'll take one omelette please.
LOL.
Heinz did give up on catsup.

Thanks. Just placed order # 19059.
Also, just an FYI for some of you using the product, I CAN tell a difference in putting power/electro fuse under my tongue and leaving it for about 5 minutes. To me there's a BIG difference in doing that vs. simply swallowing it.
FWIW
Anyone know any promo codes for power/electro fuse? I am getting ready to get a few more and wondered if there are any out there with a little discount.
I know they sell 5 hr but not sure about the others.
I wonder what 4 PowerFuse drops would do in relation to your monster experience.
I'm not saying I advise you do that but it would be a fair comparison.
Not saying it doesn't. I'm just saying that you won't see him correlate a product he is endorsing to his winning.
I seriously doubt you will get Tiger to say Fuse helps him win.
He may say, eventually, that Fuse helps him with his exercise routine or overall health or something similar to that.
Helps him win won't be something he will say about any product in my opinion.
I was also in a Dick's store last night and the mission shelf was in front of the checkout line. Each store gets to decide where to place it apparently.
I also talked to the manager about Fuse and he was familiar with it. He said they had it in distribution but because of their delivery schedule it isn't in there store yet. He said it could be early Feb before it gets to the stores in HIS region, which is in NC. This store is in Greensboro, NC.
