Things that mostly go under the radar, do not draw too much attention.

1. A supposedly bankrupt bank being bought up during a huge downturn in the economy.

2. Two relatively weak stocks that merge and the price drops temporarily.

3. a fairly impressive upswing in the two after all the litigation is settled.

The "Big Boys" don't care about "Retail" as much as people think. They were counting on #1, but will take #2, and #3.

If they buy in at under eight, and sell at over twenty four it accomplishes most of their plan, and draws little attention.

I'm 64 in September. I plan to work til 70 if I don't have some good luck.

After a bankruptcy the "Wild West" becomes the order of the day.
During this time a company, and all its holdings can be devoured by entities holding great capital reserves.
These entities short the price way down through manipulation.
Now if the company actually goes bankrupt they have already made their money.
If the company survives and thrives they are in at the ground floor, and are privileged to foreknowledge of the survival.
Either way they clean up. They clean up on the way down, and on the way back up again.
Don't get too alarmed. This is the natural course of action we are seeing.

There is a feller who lives in Arkansas and lives on about five percent of my Army retirement. I would have to say in a way he is a kind of failure, doesn't have much going for himself.

He however doesn't break into anyone's house, envy anyone, feel cheated, or feel dissatisfied.

He walks wherever he goes, but very soon he is offered a ride, 'cause he is always pleasant, humble, and helpful to those around him.

Yes Sir, and that is what I did. To me it was too disagreeable to sign something allowing dishonest people to be kinda exonerated in effect. I certainly understand that getting something, and a partial punishment from persons/organizations that harmed you is better than getting nothing. I think that my selling old Wamu, and buying Coop works for me.

I will be disappointed realizing I could have made X amount of dollars if I just held onto my escrow, and I CERTAINLY DON'T THINK FOLKS WHO DID THIS ARE WRONG. I just did what I was most agreeable to.

So finally, I can honestly say I am rooting for COOP, AND FOR OLD ESCROW even though...............:)

They are not making batteries. They are making capacitors. Capacitors have many huge advantages over batteries. Once this company is able to get this product to its near term potential batteries will be obsolete.

I would maybe agree, but who is selling? This is not normal activity from average Joe's. This is what get's on my nerves. The big boy's could make just as much money, and more quickly, if they let us get rich also. This is my problem with them. Don't mind me, I'm just butting in, but YOU summed it up quite well.

We have to draw an imaginary line. One end of the line is what would happen if everyone acted correctly, and responsibly. The opposite end of the line is if evil was unabated. Look around your country and give it a DOUG SCORE, pertaining to the general morality of the players/powerful people involved. Go back to your imaginary line put a value of recovery at each end of the line which would coincide with the morality coefficient (From worst to best). Put a dot on the line which equalls the DOUG SCORE Now you have the pretty good recovery guesstimation.

Many people here are very good at prognosticating the recovery amount, what will go to escrows, what will eventually end up in COOP, but they may be somewhat discounting the ability of the criminal element.

The nice thing though is what you have said in the past, that this opportunity would not even be possible, in a way, without the crooks.
