This is the evil in some people. Wmih could have been reorganized, and recapitalized to the benefit of millions of people. Some don't want this to happen. They look on the average investor with contempt. They don't want the little guy cheated, they want him destroyed, and humiliated. Think JR EWING.

But on the other side. A man could work his whole life and not make as much money as some here anticipate.

I always thought you were right about Susman. Fellers like that have an ego. They certainly don't want to be treated as a patsy. Not NOTHING, but not what is deserved. Hell they FOUND 30 billion just lying around. If they were honest that alone would have paid off all equity to the point where people could let go of this, and feel half way good about it all. They could have bought a ton of coop, reported the 30 billion, became rich, and been hero's

They don't want to win. They want to destroy your will, kill you, and burn your body while cursing your existence. They are not competitive, they are evil. They want to drive every one not necessary to their ability to steal out of the market forever, and sneer at you.

In the old days I found a ton of dough, enough to buy a house. I alerted the correct person, made sure they had it, and left without another thought. You think any of the rickspay we are dealing with would give a starving person a nickel. They take your stuff and laugh at your buttocks.

We are dealing with thieves. Since assets were greater than liabilities their plan was to take over WAMU, and steal everything. In order to do this they felt that they had to pay off the Creditors, but the stock holders could pound sand. Well they kinda got found out a little so they are kinda forced to pony up some minimal amount for escrows. Coop may see a good run eventually, not 'cause they care about anything except their continued thieving, but because thuis will be another source of income for them.

Contrast this to LEHMAN.

For Lehman they had few assets to steal, so hopefully Lehman will be reorganized, and they, and we will make money.

All the above takes time. Like when my Mom asks me to visit her in MPLS. I just put it off till she becomes tired of asking.

That would be me between paydays :). If this somehow went to 10 dollars or so I would remember these days very fondly;)!!!!

I wish we still used gold. The average man could just have a stock pile of it at his local bank. It would be a safe investment for him.

I still go back to the idea that we could reduce the budget by 50 percent if people just took care of their selves. I know the more government, or a individual person has the more they become irresponsible.

In the end it all boils down to do people embrace morality, or do they embrace envy. Does the government embrace honesty, or power.

Now I think I kinda was naive. The thieves go for the path of least resistance just like anyone else. So the plan was hide all the assets of Wamu and just steal them. but with Lehman the CT's have to survive and that is where the money will be poured into in order to resurrect the stock and see a 100 to one rise in price. So Now I believe Lehman was the better bet.

I became a bit exuberant, and don't want to spoil it for myself. This is credit card rewards points money. I am a frequent guest of all the wonderfully lovely Sales People in the Ala Moana Mall. I'm hoping to tell my wife that YES all our Dolce Gabanna, Armani, Nieman Marcus, Louis Vuitton, and Jaguar adventures are now free of responsibility on our part 'cause MR. ZNNMF is paying for them.
