Boris; Yep, it's time for Hail Marys.
Dine; 112 Every day
I lived overseas 17 years. Mostly in poor countries. I had a very wonderful time. The locals did not have a good time.
So I would say the USA is definitely the #1 country, but I love going overseas 'cause I am not seriously affected by their hardships, I can come back to the US whenever I want, and I can enjoy figgerin out their lingo, customs, and etc.
I hope to take my lovely wife home soon. I would not mind living in her country. In fact I hope I do, 'cause she had to live in mine for a long time now.
C'mon COOP help me out here!
Some good, and a little humorous news, from USA Today.
'OPEN IMMEDIATELY!': Wisconsinites head out to bars after state stay-at-home orders lifted.
Is this the start of GOODTIMES?
Will the economy come back? Coop, and the market in general?
If it does remember to thank those clodhoppers! (of which I am one.)
Everything you said is your opinion. The greatest economist in history totally disagrees with you. I'm fairly sure this will not sway your opinion though. What does he know compared to you. By the way, me being ignorant and all, can you tell me, what a decibel is? I always thought that it was a measure of the intensity of sound.
Sorry I know this is off topic.
Best President in history for economy (Surplus each of 8 years) Calvin Coolidge, by CUTTING FEDERAL SPENDING!!!!!!!!!!!
IMHO the fairest way to measure economic success of a President is taking the debt as a percent of Gross Domestic Product, and then factor in relevant contributing factors.
The biggest contributors are;
1. FDR 1048% WW2 Stock market crash
2. Wilson 727% WW1
3. Reagan 186% Defeat of the Soviet Union
4. GWB 101% 9/11 Iraq Afghanistan
5. Obama 74% 2008
Make your own assessment.
P.S Clinton 32% No he did not get us out of debt. He did not leave us with a SURPLUS. He did however have two good years. You have to remember DEBT is the TOTAL ACCUMULATION, DEFECIT is THIS YEAR ONLY. Clinton put us into debt 6 years out of 8, and ended up putting us into 32 percent more debt than when he took over.
As our Bobvious Bob would say WINNER WINNER CHICKEN DINNER!!
You bet they are, but that will change one day.
With comments like that YOU are forever in my good graces Mr./Ms. Meat
I think when they say man made they mean an existing virus that was modified genetically.
Those few replies you gave me are undeniable, and contain wisdom. I always figgered that a feller with an accomplished life, and good character never felt the desire to look down on anyone. It just would't occur to him/her to do so, as he/she would see nothing to gain in doing so.
My old friend John lived in a used trailer, and drove a junky pickup. Neither was worth much, but to John's credit he kept them in the best shape he could.
He always told me "I look like a poor guy, but live like a rich guy. Anytime he wanted to go on vacation he took his wife and went. He ate and drank whatever, and enjoyed himself.
I always had an extra job, and worked ALOT. My first wife never understood this. She was ready to spend money 24/7. She didn't 'cause she felt sorry for me. She died way early, so I guess she was right when she asked "whatcha savin all that money for?"
I gave another friend a ride home one day. He asked me to stop on a dirt road, and let him out. We were in my wife's new Jag, so I thought he was worried I would get the car dirty. We got to his house over his objection, and it had a sagging roof, and looked uninhabitable. Why didn't I just listen to him?
I guess I'll just say to each his own.
I have a UBI in effect. I have two retirement checks a month. I keep working just 'cause I am able to. I would say you are correct.
I tried but Mr. Sussman did not reply.

Sinuses feel great. Throat feels great. Plenty of natural vitamin C.
Tarry on my wayward son. :)
Aloha Biz, or should I say Cuz :). I didn't know you were in Hawaii. how do you like it?
Possibly because you know the answer, and it sounds simple to you. DON'T sell yourself short!
Well I agree with everything you said, so please don't give me the kybosh:)
My Q, and A was in jest. It was an example of how you were thinking in my opinion.
No certainly we cannot say there is anything wrong with rich or poor people, if that is all that we know about them.
BUT
I think we would be better off if we, through our best efforts, became self sufficient. Then if unforeseen circumstances arrived we would have a nest egg.
In my opinion only, I think governments should be purely capitalist, and family, friends, charities, and etc. should be the source of help when we need it.
One rich guy helping one poor guy. One through kindness, and love, the other free from envy.
Thank you!
I grew up in the house that my grampa built by hand from flagstone that he took out of the ground with a team of horses and a wagon.
He worked very hard and bought 1000 acres of land in Wisconsin. He did not use borrowed money for this, he just saved for it.
He split this land into 8 pieces, and shared 7 pieces with all his brothers, and sisters.
He was virulently anti-socialist.
He predicted that F.D.R.'s policies would be the ruination of America.
He wanted pure 100 percent individual responsibility to reign here in the U.S.A.
What would our country be like if everyone did this?
Would anyone be overly concerned if the banks failed?
My Grampa never borrowed a dime, even for the land, he would not have been hurt if the banks, housing industry, or anything else failed.
Not trying to be an old "Mr. Know it all" here, but it is something to think about.
I just did that, Let's wait a few days.
GOOD LUCK TO ALL FELLOW INVESTORS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Heart NNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Money Yes.
When you "Google" news articles on Trump you will see 90+ percent are negative. Most news presents most everything he does negatively, and are of course in no way pro-virus, but delight in Trumps difficulties of any kind.
This is what conservatives don't like.
I am old enough to remember when you could not tell what the newscaster's opinion was, 'cause he did not present his opinion. I wish we were still that way.
Anyway. GLTY,+ GLTA. I sure hope we see something positive here before long!
My niece called from Korea, and said there is nothing missing in the stores, except face masks. The infection rate is decreasing. Life is returning to normal. Korea has to deal constantly with China, and Japan. I am saying this to illustrate that whoever said the fear is worse than the virus may very well have a point. Fear plus greed has been our undoing more than anything so far. THIS CERTAINLY DOESN'T MEAN we should act complacently, but, don't let it hang around your shoulders like a death shawl.
I imagine that people buying into the market in general now, or maybe a little later than now, will make a killing. Coop will be 2 or even 3 times its low price before the end of the year.
Getn You my friend will be especially well. I have not seen as good an attitude as yours on here that I can remember!
I'm gonna call you Mr Account on account of you are 22, and have triple my I.Q.
I am very sincerely hoping that all you fellers get the ESCROW payment Very Very Very Very Very Very Very Very soon. This easily could be the luckiest thing that could have happened to you fellers IN YOUR WHOLE LIFE FINANCIALLY SPEAKING if you get a ton of COOP, or money NOW, while you could really make some timely investments, or just shore up your financial portfolio. Amen.
That would solve all our problems here on earth!
Please elaborate on the mathematics.
I personally wish everyone took care of their selves, and then helped their families, and finally just whoever needed help. I wish the government was limited to protecting us from foreign nations, and to policing our citizens who try to commit crimes.
If the above was true we would have no debt, and be as I said invincible. America would maybe include the whole of the Americas from Alaska to Argentina.
Yes Sir!!
God, being pure love, only really wants one thing. He wants us to join him in heaven.
In order to accomplish this he will allow what we consider misfortune in our lives if it causes us to change our behavior, and better our chances of going to "the place that's the best" ( as sung by Norman Greenbaum).
Also remember that he taught us that whatever we ask for with faith, and in Jesus name we will receive.
So what we gonna get nervous about?
To love Him, and to love your neighbor.
Man only asks God for two things. A fly ride, and a dope crib.
Another of my fairly useless comments, and I wasn't even asked.:) Kind of a talent of mine. :) :)
Trump actually disbanded the PANDEJO team January 2016. Unfortunately he could not root them all out.
LODAS LODAS LODAS
Hey Look at 617030 Sorry I may have given you some useless info.
Oh oh. I went to look for more info. and a lot of sources say the quinine is a bad idea. Sorry Lodas, you better not tell her it might not be good afterall.
It would be fair to ask why one man owes a billion dollars.
Did we help him in any way?
