Probably for a Phase I/2 trial. Raising money with shares is the reason company goes public. As long as they are selling into the market, I am okay with that, if they are diluting with toxic financing = read flag. But if people are worried about dilution ,they can just invest in the preferred shares RGBPP.

Biopharmaceutical company Gilead Sciences is expanding the availability of its COVID-19 treatment Remdesivir in India amid the country’s spike in cases. Gilead (GILD) is providing technical assistance and support for setting up new local manufacturing plants. The company is also donating the active pharmaceutical ingredient (API) to local facilities to help increase the production of the drug in India. Additionally, the company is donating at least 450,000 vials of Veklury to help Indian patients. Remdesivir is marketed in the US under the brand name Veklury.

They have hit us with a lot of news and videos this week with the price going down. Looks like dilution to me. Not sure why they need to dilute if they have made 130 million in the last 18 years as well as making $800,000 a month. Financials also looked week for a company making that type of money. Any thoughts?
