BitCoin...there is some "fear of the Speculative gods" happening with BitCoin at this time=you can see the fear/panic when price is outside the Bollinger Bands...recent news is about how BitCoin has been manipulated...
Some think price is going to test the $6,00 level...
Daily...(EOD end of day chart)
Daily GBTC...I'm long GBTC so I'd rather BitCoin not go to $6,000 ...but may have to cover and look for a better entry price...
Ashley...sure...I enjoy the Markets...even when I'm wrong...
Are you trading anything...I'll put a chart UP and see how its doing...

RVLT...here's a daily trend view verses the 20,3 stochastics...if they're working together...need to stay with it until other indicators start to signal change in direction...
Daily..trying to reverse UP at centerline......
60minute...indicators are extended and overbought(looks weak at the 65hour moving average...how will price resolve this difference between the daily and 60 minute charts...?...

Astro-O-ology...
“Since its three-year high on May 22 (at 72.83), crude oil has been falling rather sharply into June 1, as Venus makes a grand trine to the Jupiter/Neptune trine. This suggests a temporary or primary bottom may be forming this week or the next. This is further supported by the Sun/Neptune waxing square on Thursday, June 7, followed by Neptune turning retrograde on June 18 (Neptune, again, co-rules crude oil, according to my own studies).” The decline finally stopped at 64.22, a loss of nearly 12% in just two weeks. If that was a longer-term cycle low, then a rise to new highs in crude oil prices will begin to push inflation levels higher.
The bigger cosmic problem for inflation factors, however, lies in the forthcoming Saturn/Pluto conjunction of January 12, 2020. That is, the trend up in both interest rates and inflation may accelerate into that period, until the rising interest rates start to thwart the recovery, perhaps leading to a serious recession by 2020-2023, based on the historical correspondence of hard aspects between Saturn/Pluto and Saturn/Uranus within a year of one another...
There is another important long-term aspect unfolding next week. On June 16, Uranus will form its third of five 45° semi-square aspects to Neptune, which is part of the second longest planetary pair cycle in the solar system (it is a 171-year cycle). Uranus in such a relationship to Neptune can correspond to natural calamities, like floods and tsunamis, earthquakes and volcanic eruptions. It can also correlate with cyber theft and espionage, and furthermore to psychotic breaks by “lone wolves” who lose their handle on reality and contemplate or commit life-threatening acts. Reality is questioned during this period, for Neptune itself will be turning retrograde. What you see and hear is probably not what is anywhere near reality or the truth (unless it is the ultimate spiritual truth). This is a magic act, or a sick trick of deception played on humanity, if we are naïve enough to believe whatever is told to us. How to handle this? The obvious antidote is to seek ultimate truth, and don’t settle for the pablum being reported by the press or world leaders. What a strange time for Mr. Trump and Kim Jung-un to meet for peace talks. Who is conning who these next two weeks?

New high seems a bit of a reach right now...need to get into 2nd quarter earnings reports first; which should be good...
Market is a bit overbought right now; I did say in a recent post 3000/3100 could happen...
I'm starting to get apprehensive about shorting...should wait until after Wed. FED...
UVXY is a hedge while I decide what stocks I want to take some extra profits...but below $9.90 may force me to cover...
For now I wasn't expecting 2790..but 2800 would be okay...just to see how technicals act...
60minute...on this chart I'm comparing the 80 level on the CTM=Chande Trend to a slow stochastic 20,3...80 signal line and also watching $NYAD= advance/decline...= market internals...

BEARISH drop BitCoin below $7,000 after Korean exchange Coinrail hack.
There are some technical arguments of where BitCoin price may go...I don't agree... click on the link to see if you agree...
https://www.coindesk.com/6k-next-bitcoin-bear-market-resumes-after-10-drop/
The bitcoin market has come alive in the last 36 hours, with the bears gaining the upper hand and now aiming for fresh 2018 lows below $6,000.
The cryptocurrency dropped nearly 10 percent on Sunday, hitting a two-month low of $6,619 on Bitfinex, having spent the last two weeks trading in the narrow range of $7,000–$7,800.
Across the media, the price drop has been put down to a hack on South Korean exchange Coinrail, revealed Sunday, and renewed concerns regarding security at cryptocurrency exchanges.
However, a big move was expected anyway – as an extended period of consolidation or low volatility is often followed by a sharp move on either side – and prices started falling Saturday, so the theft of ERC-20 tokens at a minor exchange seems an unlikely cause.
Either way, the technical studies now spell trouble for bitcoin. The convincing move below $7,000 marks a downside break of the four-month-long narrowing price range and has opened the doors for a drop below $6,000 (Feb. 6 low).
June 11, 2018 hypothetical "FedCoin".
https://www.coindesk.com/fed-get-serious-crypto-says-former-fdic-chair/
The Federal Reserve should seriously consider its own cryptocurrency, the former head of the U.S. government's deposit insurance corporation wrote in an opinion article last week.
In a piece published Friday by Yahoo Finance, Sheila Bair, the former chair of the US Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC), emphasized the pressing need for the Federal Reserve Bank to seriously consider the prospects of a central bank-issued digital currency (CBDC).
She warned:
"If it does not stay ahead of this technology, not only could banking be disrupted — but the Fed itself could also be at risk."
A CBDC, in theory, would not have the same kind of culpability to large fluctuations in value given proper oversight and management by a centralized authority, she said. Beyond this, Bair points out that centralized digital currencies would be "much more effective tools for conducting monetary policy to address economic cycles."
Currently, the status quo allows the government to stimulate and slow economic activity in periods of recession and boom, respectively, through government-sponsored securities sales directed towards domestic banks.
But what if the "FedCoin" – a digital currency issued and backed by the Federal Reserve Bank, was held by all consumers? Then, changes to interest rates encouraging savings and in other times, spending, would be felt by consumers directly rather than through the policy changes of domestic banks.
Bair counters such a perceived benefit to centralized digital currencies by offering a potential downside – credit availability. Consumers wanting to hold all of their wealth in CBDCs would naturally cause credit deficits if parameters are not put in place ensuring banks and other financial businesses remain competitive against a hypothetical "FedCoin".
Bair's comments on the viable use of CBDCs by the central bank are timely as government officials around the world are also chiming into the conversation considering the merits of cryptocurrencies like bitcoin in structure but state-controlled in vision.

Coinrail hack, the hackers struck on June 10 and made away with a number of different cryptocoins, including the recently launched Pundi X (NPXS), which makes roughly two thirds of Coinrail's trading volume. Korea's Yonhap estimated that a total of 40 billion won ($37.2 million) of coins went missing.
Coinrail is a fairly small exchange with roughly $2.5 million in daily volume according to CoinMarketCap. "(Coinrail) is a minor player in the market and I can see how such small exchanges with lower standards on security level can be exposed to more risks."
The Coinrail theft is the fourth major cryptocurrency exchange hack this year. In January, $400 million worth of cryptocurrency was stolen from Japanese exchange Coincheck, and in February, $200 million worth of cryptocurrency went missing from Italian cryptocurrency exchange Bitgrail. In April, cryptocurrency exchange Coinsecure said some $3.3 million worth of Bitcoin were stolen from its wallet.
The total market cap of all cryptocurrencies has descended below $300 billion for the first time since early April; it currently stands at $297 billion.

While the stock market is short-term overbought, the U.S. dollar is short-term oversold. ...from Dennis Slothowner
(...I don't consider the dollar oversold; it's trying to decide what to do at centerline...
If the dollar rebounds and picks up strength again, it will pressure the crude oil market and further put into question the quality of corporate earnings for the second quarter. The direction of the U.S. dollar is crucial.
There is a great deal of pressure by the emerging markets and their central banks, whose markets are getting crushed relative to the strengthening dollar. There are always winners and losers every time the dollar goes up or down. U.S. central banks are draining their reserves, printing fewer dollars — so there is less liquidity for financing emerging markets. So, we are seeing a sharp jump in emerging market debt defaults.
We remain on egg shells, under a false illusion of economic strength and financial engineering while the Federal Reserve continues to tighten monetary policy until it breaks something.
As bond yields are about to invert and investment banks pump to con the public, smart money is exiting aggressively from the market in anticipation of more visible signs the real economy is not going to be as good as the Fed is forecasting.

Notice the plunge in the Smart Money Flow Index. Something is coming. The global economy is slowing rapidly in Europe, Asia, Latin America, and other emerging markets. Massive share buybacks, or financial engineering, work until the capital is gone.
While the media is beating the drum on an expanding U.S. economy, you wouldn’t know it by the plunge in consumer spending.
https://assets.angelpub.com/2018/23/ssda-6718-img-2-49912.png">https://assets.angelpub.com/2018/23/ssda-6718-img-2-49912.png" />
The combination of Obamacare driving up health insurance premiums, soaring gasoline prices in 2018, and the tax cut benefits which have disappeared in light of other rising costs have combined to reduce consumer spending even as they accrue more debt.
It is my job to make you aware of approaching risk. Notice how similar a pattern is being repeated with Deutsche Bank and Lehman Brothers.
https://assets.angelpub.com/2018/23/ssda-6718-img-3-49913.jpeg">https://assets.angelpub.com/2018/23/ssda-6718-img-3-49913.jpeg" />
Daily...(is that a dead cat bounce...?)
The big banks are pumping their stocks now, hoping to get investors to buy bank stocks, but Deutsche Bank is Germany’s largest lender and the largest bank in Europe. Following the path of Lehman Brothers poses systematic risk to the entire worldwide banking system.
Here’s the thing: Deutsche Bank has massive derivative exposure. At the end of 2017, the bank’s notional derivative value was around €48.0 trillion.
That’s right. 48 trillion! Not billion.
Keep in mind, derivatives involve two parties. If all of a sudden, one party says we are not going to be in business anymore, what do you think will happen to those on the other side?
U.S. banks are very exposed to Deutsche Bank and represent the other side. This is why when Deutsche Bank got into trouble and was downgraded to junk status recently — they sent over Goldman Sachs for further damage control. Why would Goldman get involved with Deutsche Bank if U.S. banks weren’t seriously vulnerable here?
This is why investment banks are pumping bank stocks right before another rate hike. This is how it works. Get wise to this.
Goldman Sachs made $200 million in just one day in February in the market’s plunge after cash levels fell to record lows.
Like I said, the market is ridiculously overbought on both a short-term and an intermediate-term basis. This is not the time to chase momentum stocks in the most overvalued market in history.
easycome92...everything on this board is free if you want to learn how to trade; the Intro page is loaded with the basics...I'll walk anyone through the basis and through some trades.
My students are younger 30yr or so, people that are starting with zero knowledge about stocks...I only charge them $150 to start and then $10 an hour to walk them through some trades...I don't need their money I just make sure they're serious and want to learn.
Most of the trade is about the individual's fears doubt and ego (ashy2 is here off and on; he's past the fear/doubt thing and isn't worried about sitting with a trade=he'll do fine in the long run)...because the Market can't beat you...you beat yourself...you get a few basics and a few technical indicators...then its a game...I can beat this game more than 80% of the time; but I don't always get all the "PRICE" I think I should get from the trade. RVLT I alerted people a month before it happened...but I still haven't gotten all I expect from the stock...but I'll know when another good buy signal is there...so it becomes a waiting game...
I've got a person that came to me when he was over 60% down saying he wanted me to tell him to sell it because he couldn't...he knew the basics...I made him show me where the signals were and told him he was going to work himself out of the trade if he really wanted to learn...he comes back 2months later saying the same thing...I replied the same way...walked him through the signals and he talked himself into the next signal...which was a buy signal...he got some of the loss back and even could get it all back...its up to him...
I'm looking at these stocks today trying to decide how I'm going to trade them...
Here's the story...
OLED (T/$) Universal Display Corporation (NASDAQ: OLED) jumped as much as 17% early Tuesday before settling to close up 4% following reports that Apple (NASDAQ: AAPL) has chosen to adopt OLED displays across its entire iPhone line. More specifically, according to "industry sources" speaking to South Korea's Electronic Times, Apple will expand its use of OLED displays from just a single model -- as it currently does with only its high-end iPhone X -- to all three of its newer iPhone models to be launched in 2019. OLED market is poised to take off. The company expects the market for OLED displays to have a CAGR of 21% from 2015 to 2020. At the moment, what is driving this growth is mobile, and we are fairly certain that Apple is still ahead of us for an OLED iPhone. But also just ahead is another wave of growth from TVs, as costs come down and volumes increase. We could see this in the amount of OLED activity at the Consumer Electronics Show this year. Then there should be a third wave of growth from lighting applications. I like when we have some visibility of growth that extends long into the future, and that appears to be the case with Universal Display.
LPL (T/$16H) LG Display thin-film transistor liquid crystal display and organic light-emitting diode (OLED) technology-based display panels.
I like $10 stocks ($9-$11 is a $10 stock in my mind)
yes...Treasury can keep selling Bills its just the rates will keep going higher and the value lower...first because you bought it at a discount...but it doesn't mean the purchasing power of those dollars will be the same...sometimes you are just keeping up with inflation...value of the dollar may have gone down...and inflation may have increased.
I am not a Bond trader...I don't like the bond market at all...too many factors and too much subjective speculation as to the direction of interest rates...especially when the FED is in a cycle of increasing the Discount Rate. Like now...a lot of guessing of how many rate hikes will happen this year...
Inflation or more specifically, monetary inflation, is generally due to an increase in money being circulated. This means more deposits held in foreign banks and more cash in savings and checking accounts. If the government increases circulating money faster than companies can manufacture enough goods, more people demand the goods since more money exists to pay for them and this pushes prices higher. Additionally, since the amount of money in circulation has increased, each dollar has less value and every business must raise its prices just to get the same value it used to get for its products.
Many factors may affect Treasury bill interest rates in general, as well as rates for specific issues of Treasury securities, in particular. Here are several factors you might want to consider:
Demand for risk-free fixed-income securities in general—For example, a "flight to safety" caused by concerns about default or liquidity risk in other financial markets may cause investors to shift to T-bills to avoid risk.
Supply of T-bills by the U.S. government--for example, federal budget surpluses in 1998-2000 have reduced the supply of some Treasury securities issues.6
Economic conditions may influence rates--for example, Rose (1994) notes that T-bill rates typically rise during periods of business expansion and fall during recessions.7
Monetary policy actions by the Federal Reserve--Fed actions that affect the Federal funds rate likely will influence interest rates for other close substitutes, including short-term T-bills.
Inflation and inflation expectations also are factors in determining interest rates--for example, periods of relatively high (low) rates of inflation usually are associated with relatively high (low) interest rates on T-bills (see chart, below).
NOT IF INTEREST ON THE 10YR NOTE goes above 3.50%...
...remember this post?...I put it at the top of the intro page...and tomorrow I will look at it(the Intro page)... and see if I want to add anything new... I like this Big Picture Assessment and intend to re-assess it every week. The assessment makes sense...and yes something has got to give...tRUMP may just choose to default rather than pay such an insane amount of interest...that's how he ran his own business...what comes with a default is the interesting thing...(I could guess ...but not yet... there's better minds on this stuff than mine...)
Enjoy...

When the 10-year yield curve presses to 3.0% as it has now, it is challenging a descending trend line that began back in 1980 (blue line), when inflation was outrageous but our national debt was minimal.
Should the 10-year Treasury yield breach above 3% on $21 trillion the interest will start to average $630 billion. At 3.5% it jumps to $735 billion. Something has to give when interest on the national debt gets this high.
inflation...
The inflation pipeline has three stages. The first stage is the price of raw materials. The second stage is the price companies pay for raw materials (producer price inflation). The third stage is what companies charge consumers for their products (CPI inflation). It all starts with the direction of commodity prices. Strangely, that's the part that economists (and the Fed) pay no attention to. How can economists expect to predict the final stage of CPI inflation, if they ignore the first stage which is the direction of commodity prices? ...John Murphy StockCharts.com
Anything can happen...I was just pointing at technical support levels...and suggest below 2100 S&P is big trouble...
Its up to the central Banks of the world on how crazy they want it to get...
1. I think the Euro and the nations that make up the EU are in trouble and may fall apart.
2. Our debt level has to be fixed...usually the currency gets devalued when you're not servicing the interest on the debt. That will cause inflation...without serious fixes you can get runaway inflation...aka...hyper inflation; could even get stagflation=slow or no growth economy with inflation (most say stagflation won't happen)...Being the reserve currency of the world has its issues= every time there's trouble in the world our currency goes UP... a strong currency right now isn't the best route to go...
3. China has a worse debt problem than we do...so my guess is we are more than a couple of years away from a real crisis with U.S. or China...it will be currency manipulation and trade wars for now.
4 Emerging Markets should be a good place to invest right now...but I don't see it being that great yet...
5. S&P 500 shouldn't have any problem reaching S&P 3000/3100 so down to 2100 would be a 1000 S&P point haircut...times 10= a 10,000 point haircut for the DOW...
If FED increases interest rates too fast it will slow the economy tooo much and so considering some of the world issues I wouldn't be surprised if the FED did nothing this week and suggested there is only one more rate increase this year. I say this because other countries are not tightening and we don't want to get too far ahead of these other countries...

When U.S. District Judge Richard Leon hands down his decision on AT&T Inc.’s proposed takeover of Time Warner Inc. next week, the likes of Comcast Corp., Verizon Communications Inc., Cigna Corp. and CVS Health Corp. will be watching keenly.
Leon’s decision could open the door to Comcast finally making a formal bid for the 21st Century Fox assets it’s been eyeing since last year, make it easier for Verizon to buy a content company and clear the regulatory path for deals Cigna and CVS have already announced.
