In the past few months, "http://www.groenbrothersaviationinc.com/" has gone from a boilerplate/placeholder page, to a blank page, to now 404 not found status. I'm not sure exactly when the 404 status appeared since I don't check it every day, but certainly within the last week or so. Any explanation would be appreciated.
Explain, please.
Re: Post 2219: I seem to remember—a nebulous concept at my age—that there was still technology or patents controlled by Groen Brothers.
As for your last post, I have been tagged with many labels, but college professor wasn't one of them.
I don't know why he said that, nor why you thought he is on the right track—explanations would be appreciated. I haven't been able to find anything about when or if Skyworks is going to have an IPO.
That doesn't sound like guess-work. Any realistic ideas on timing?
Most likely outcome is that when Sky goes public, GNBA shares will be converted to Sky common AND.You say????
I would think that would be a fair way to compensate us for our holdings in Skyworks Global:
(My number of shares of GNBA / 171,416,289) x (.0048 x number of shares of Skyworks Global).
All attempts to clarify my formula are welcome.
More realistically, those Skyworks shares would simply be—as they are now—part of the collective assets of GNBA. That leaves us still holding our shares of GNBA, which are tied to the new entity to be formed by the joint venture that Al and the other parties are putting together.
If I got most of that right, we're still waiting for a status update. . .
What a pleasure it is to see you on the board again—I hope you are doing well.
I would like that, but I haven't spoken to Al a number of years and don't have a current number.
So, factoring in that the lawyers, et al aren't likely to work weekends, the grace we grant you as moderator, and that the markets will be closed for the Independence day holiday, we should expect to place our large buy orders July 5th. Right?
Whence comes the 30 days? I'm sure we would all welcome a return to trading. What is your confidence level?
I'm still here. and I check this board almost daily, but while I remain optimistic, the lack of solid information is discouraging.
Skyworks appears to be doing well with aircraft orders, but it is unclear how much new business they wish to book before pulling the trigger on their IPO. Absent any new technology/product announcement from GNBA, our holdings in a publicly traded Skyworks would be a strong influence on potential buyers of GNBA stock once we resume trading—I don't expect that to happen before Skyworks' IPO.
I would be very interested in other opinions/thoughts on the subject.
I suspect that we are all waiting for the next shoe to drop—even a slipper or a sock would be welcome.
Thanks—that works for now.
Gyro,
Did you intend the implication that all is now well between the various government entities and GNBA re: "Cleaning up 10 years of the books and getting the Federal Govt to approve it was one thing . . .", or is that just wishful thinking on my part?
Gyro, My question in #2092 was about Skyworks, not GNBA.
That notwithstanding, multiple entities forming a new corporation could choose a new identity (e.g. Aramco), or choose to retain the name(s) of one one or more of the partners (e.g. EXXONMOBIL). It will be interesting to see how our shares in GNBA translate into shares of the new corporation; or if we remain GNBA, and our shares are simply represent a smaller percentage of the new organization.
Has anyone heard when Skyworks will issue an IPO?
Any hints on timing of: public announcements; stock listings; will we still be separate, or all four merge into a common stock/company, or . . .?; etc.
1) The only one I know about—or can find—is: "devorto.io". Is there another site?
2) Are you implying that they are one of the four?
So, since little is publicly known about what GNBA is going to be doing, a key number is at what price do you think Skyworks will open? A 3.5 billion valuation would put GNBA at about $1 per share on that alone—realistic?
Thank you, Tex.
Tex, it would illuminating for the rest of us, if you could help us understand what has precipitated your dramatic shift in attitude/opinion over the last ten weeks. While we realize that you have been privy to data that has not been made public, it is very startling that in just a few weeks we have gone from “REAL MONEY (esp. GOVT CONTRACT money)” to “GnBA is bringing a SECOND REVOLUTION to aviation technology” to Post 1942—now deleted—where you inferred a breakthrough advancement in “propulsion” to “think moonshot (historical, metaphorical)” to “THIS WILL CHANGE ALL STOCKHOLDERS LIVES” to “more than likely—we all are going to lose everything”
In 1944, I wrote that he mentioned propulsion in his post regarding GNBA's future. That was new to me and I was curious—the next day his post was gone.
One went away right after I posted #1944—significant—I wonder . . .
Tex, do you have a site name we could keep an eye out for? What name does the new organization go by?
Since you are a moderator, perhaps we don't see things the same when we go to the board. When I open this site (by going to: https://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/board.aspx?board_id=7261, the total number of shares is listed on or near the first page as:
Shares Outstanding
171,416,289
As of 1 January 2022
Per this site, the number of shares as of the first of this year was 171,416,289.
Tex, do we know what the website will be called—i.e. its URL?
The key word in your post seems to be propulsion. Care to expound, hint, or otherwise service our curiosity?
I no longer have a valid number for Al. I haven't thought much would happen until either Skyworks and/or Groen make a public move that would attract investors. I am very willing to be informed otherwise.
Nano's still here. I appreciate your updates—I have found nothing significant lately.
However, since I can't trade either one, I don't see how that has an effect on any return on my investment.
Would one of the choices be a prorated stock exchange—GNBA shares for Skyworks shares?
Who is left in GNBA management? With whom can we communicate?
Is there any data available regarding the upcoming IPO of Skyworks?
I am certainly looking forward to that. Please let us know if you hear of any specifics regarding when and how he will address us.
Thank you. Happy Thanksgiving.
I knew about Brazil, what are the other 4 "big deals"?
Can you elaborate?
Don't think because we don't have anything to add at the moment that we aren't watching. My contacts with Al have dried up. If I come across anything to add to the pot, I'll toss it in there. Meanwhile, you guys are the lifeblood of the forum—please don't stop.
Yes, but news from the company continues to be scant, and as relates to GNBA stockholders, it's non-existent. Any news would be most welcome.
