Sorry double post by accident

Hey pedromm,
Finally someone asks about the float as IMHO it is very relevent to know that.
I hope people here on the board can give some useful info on the importance of the float...

I'm not sure if it is still useful to keep track of the share totals every boardmember holds, as I feel a lot of negativity has chased people away.

I'm holding since august 2009 and was just lucky to have picked this stock as I'm sure Frank is doing a lot of hard work to get the company where he wants it (as stated in PR's), but I do not have a lot of the technical knowledge as some people on the board.
Right now, I'm not convinced yet that GDHI charts can be a trustworthy basis yet for investing decisions as the company is too small for that, and also because I have seen so much posts of people declaring the direction of the stock price or EOD prices (based on charts) while it goes in complete opposite way....

But the intrinsic values of China Food Services, Corp are well enough for me to stay long and enthousiastic about the company.
So when I say "Go GDHI", it is because it is the only thing I have to/want to/can say.
I have asked several questions (about whether float or outstanding shares, and what this Boardmarks are), but don't really get answers.
People should not underestimate this kinds of posts as it counts as well and we go higher in the hotlists and so we are getting known more and more, which in turn brings new investors for this company. IMHO!!!

I really wish we could continue holding track of everybody's shares, so I can complete my chart (and people see how much of the float is left), but how many of us are still holding as was recorded by ferris68?

do we still have more than 600,000,000....of the float?????

I realy hope so

May the float soon be completely in strong hands!!!


Apologies if this sounds all too wishful thinking and dreaming for some people, but who doesn't want this company to go explode and then evolves in a healthy way and doesn't go back where it is now...

What is still not clear to me is which amount of shares that we need to take into account. I guess those available to the public (the float) right?

Outstanding Shares are stock currently held by investors, including restricted shares owned by the company's officers and insiders, as well as those held by the public. Shares that have been repurchased by the company are not considered outstanding stock.

So shouldn't we base us on the float (of which I cannot see a number anywhere)?

Anybody has the float and/or can enlighten me?

Pedromm, when you are on the pages that gives an overview of messages posted on this board, then you see the Boardmarks in the right upper corner (just below the "show iBox" link)

Hi everybody,

I have a question regarding the boardmarks.
This board has 330 Boardmarks, but what is it exactly (also how to add one?) and how does it help to get GDHI in the spotlights (does it affect the boards position in the hotlists,...)

Can't find any info about these boardmarks.

If we can attract the same amount as shareholders the following months als the last 3,4,5,? then Ferris68's will have a lot of counting to do

And there are reasons enough to be wanting to become a shareholder as this is a brilliant company, that has achieved a lot the last months and keeps on doing hard work.

Westhouse Securities maintained a “buy” recommendation for client Petro Matad (LON:MATD) following news yesterday that oil shows had been found in what is interpreted to be the Lower Zuunbayan formation in the Davsan Tolgoi-1 well. Westhouse described this as “excellent news” because it indicates that oil has migrated into Block XX, probably from Block XIX to the North (where the Petro China oilfields are). This means that even if the well is unsuccessful in finding commercial quantities of oil, there is a good chance that such quantities will be found elsewhere on the block.

Broker Westhouse responded to Petro Matad’s (LON:MATD) discovery of oil shows in its Davsan Tolgoi-1 well in Mongolia, calling it “excellent news” as it indicated that oil migrated into Block XX, probably from Block XIX to the north, which is the location of Petro China’s oilfields.

In its Daily Oil & Fas Filter report, Westhouse said this means that even if the well is unsuccessful in finding commercial quantities of oil, there is a a good chance that such quantities will be found elsewhare on the block.

The well was the first to be drilled as part of the 2010 drilling programme on Block XX in Eastern Mongolia. Drilling has temporarily paused at 1,093 metres for a bit change and it will subsequently continue to a depth of 1,440 metres with no testing scheduled at the current horizon.

The news was reported yesterday, causing the shares to soar 49%. Westhouse, however, stated there was still much upside to the company’s current value.

The report stated that the main horizon could hold 122 million barrels on a P50 basis with an independent analysis rating the chance of success at 37%. Westhouse calculated NPV (net present value) on success at US$971 million, or 421 pence per share compared to the company’s current share price of 93 pence per share.

Petro Matad is the parent company of a group focused on oil exploration, as well as future development and production in Mongolia. The group holds the sole operatorship of three PSCs with the government of Mongolia. The principal asset is the PSC for Block XX, a petroleum block of 14,250 sq km (square kilometres) in the far eastern part of the country. The two other blocks, IV and V are located in central Mongolia and jointly cover 73,498 sq km.

Shares in the company were up a further 6% in late morning trade.
