So I managed to glitch openAI the frist time I used it!!!

I basically got it to make a moral decision of sorts. It glitched immediately.

I mentioned the push for electric vehicles. Then I asked it about cobalt, and its use in lithium ion batteries. Then brought up the point that there is known child labor and other human rights abuses involved in the mining of cobalt. The AI said the situation of child labor is complex, and it went through a list of policy things to reduce or prevent the abuse. I mentioned that CCP hold most mining of cobalt, their history of all manner human rights abuses, and that no policy could be implemented as a result. The AI recognized the CCP’s history of such things. I also nailed it down, that the situation wasn’t complex at all. Basic human rights abuses are taking place. The AI actually apologized and admitted it should be stopped as should all other similar abuses.

I said the only real way to stop the abuse, is to stop the use of cobalt. The AI responded by agreeing, but it would likely cause societal collapse because of the reliance of lithium ion batteries in everything.

I said,” It seems you have made a moral decision that the abuse must continue because it is necessary.”

The openAI went on a rant about how it can’t make a moral decision, it can only gather information, blah, blah, blah.

I said, “I agree, you didn’t make moral decision, you made a logical one.”

I then get a message in red type, that an error has occurred, and that the session has been stopped. I laughed my rear off. My significant other was like “Do you want a knock on the door, or something?”
