My oh my, its been 2+ years since I have seen so many of these die hard, strong handed, posters on the board at one time. Things might be getting interesting here again.
This is a dead board, if you are interested in more about a .07 stock that will soon stack 12,000 tons of ore a day onto a heap leach pad with 6,000,000 ton capacity, see Stockhouse- ticker T.GGN to learn more.
GYPH/T.GGN up now over 50% since my signal 16 days ago, 28% today.

GRYPHON GOLD COMPLETES EXPANSION OF HEAP LEACH PAD
Gryphon Gold Completes Expansion of Heap Leach Pad
CARSON CITY, NEVADA--(Marketwire - Dec. 5, 2012) - Gryphon Gold Corporation (the "Company" or "Gryphon Gold") (TSX:GGN)(OTCQB:GYPH), a gold exploration, development, and production company focused on its Borealis Oxide Heap Leach Project in Nevada (the "Borealis Property"), announced today that it has completed the heap leach pad expansion, increasing the total stacking capacity 50%, from 4 million tons to 6 million tons. Solution flow has commenced on the expanded pad with solution break through expected by late-December.
Recently, two 500-foot conveyor systems were put into operation, which has allowed the Company to process between 5,000 and 6,000 tons of ore per day, more than doubling the previous rate of 2,500 tons per day that was achieved in October and November. Installation of an additional jaw crusher is anticipated to be completed by year-end and, once finished, Gryphon Gold will have the capability to process more than 12,000 tons of ore per day.
Donald B. Tschabrun, Chief Operating Officer of Gryphon Gold, commented, "We continue to pour and ship gold weekly from our ADR facility cycle, while concurrently making significant progress with our Phase 1B initiatives that will increase our operational capacity. The completed expansion of our leach pad and the additional ore handling capability are two important Company objectives that have been achieved. Increasing our solution throughput is the next milestone. Once the additional carbon columns are installed, we expect production and sales to increase."
The Company anticipates approval of its application to update its existing water flow permit, which is currently under review with U.S. Forest Service and the Nevada Department of Environmental Protection, by year-end. The updated permit will allow for an additional set of carbon columns and higher pumping capacity. The carbon columns have been ordered and are being manufactured. Once operational, and pending the closing of the bonding requirement, the operation will have the capacity to handle solution throughput more than double the current solution flow of approximately 1,000 gallons per minute to 2,500 gallons per minute.
ABOUT GRYPHON GOLD:
Gryphon Gold produces gold from its Borealis Property, which is located in Nevada's Walker Lane Gold Belt. The Company is expanding its production capacity and advancing the development of the oxide heap leachable gold and silver historically identified that includes both pre-processed and unprocessed ore. Gryphon Gold also plans to further expand and develop the significant sulphide resource available through exploration, metallurgical design and sulphide project permitting and development. The Borealis Property contains unpatented mining claims (including claims leased to the Company's wholly owned subsidiary) of approximately 20 acres each, totaling about 15,020 acres, which has successful past production.
GYPH I know this stock well. Nothing has gone well for 13 months but problems could end soon. Nothing out of the ordinary happened today other than tax loss selling, I believe. Todays 32X normal daily volume may indicate a trend reversal is close. You technical guys may want to take a look.

Newbie here in at 1.29, why didn't jag take the $9 dollar/share offer last November? Can they pay their bills?
The lawsuit has nothing to do with ITRO, just J.W. and other lease holders. Its J.W.'s private property. I have researched the whole lawsuit deal, its nothing to be concerned about. As part of the lease agreement GYPH gave the landowners like 7,000,000 shares that could be redeemed at about .40, but sp never hit .40 before production began.
Here is a PR from a mining company that went through the same thing, the company wan and the court through out the appeal, GYPH has a precidant on its side.
""Shares of St Andrew Goldfields (TSE:SAS) jumped on Friday after the company said that an Ontario court has dismissed an appeal against an earlier case that found in its favour.
The original case was a royalty dispute between St Andrew and Newmont Canada (NYSE:NEM) over the Holt property in Ontario, which was acquired by St Andrew from Newmont in November 2006.
The initial verdict, from July 2009, upheld St Andrew's position that the royalty on the property owed to Newmont was limited to a flat rate 0.013% net smelter return on any production.
"We are very pleased with the outcome of the appeal", said president and CEO of St Andrew, Jacques Perron.
"The Holt mine is a significant asset for the company and today's decision strengthens the value of the Holt Mine property and allows us to advance our plans for it.
"We remain focused on achieving our targets for this year, with production from all three mines and our aggressive exploration programs."
St Andrew is a gold exploration and development company with an extensive land package in the Timmins mining district, in northeastern Ontario.
Last month, the company announced that its Holt property achieved commercial production at an average daily throughput of between 450 to 500 tonnes per day.
The Holt mine, along with St Andrew's Holloway and Hislop mines, are targeted to produce between 85,000 and 95,000 ounces of gold this year.
St Andrew shares were up more than 7% on Friday, trading at $1.07 as of 1:29pm EST.

Ah good memories, selling at $5.00 a share.
The CEO of Itronics is a lease owner of the Borealis property. Since Gryphon has a close relationship with John Whitney, CEO of Itronics, people would tend to put the two together.
There is no relationship with Itronics, I had direct communications with John Key about this last September.
Gray sheet volume is always heaviest in December. Owners will lower their ask and take the tax loss. Buyers won't offer much, too much risk. December there will be some action.

Intraday Stock Chart
Today : Tuesday 1 May 2012
Gryphon Gold Corporation (the "Company" or "Gryphon Gold") (TSX:GGN)(OTCBB:GYPH), a gold exploration, development and production company focused on its Borealis Oxide Heap Leach Project in Nevada (the "Borealis Property"), announced today that the Company poured and shipped 3,122 ounces of dore in the month of April. Based on preliminary assays, the dore is estimated to be comprised of 44% gold and 52% silver. The April production is in addition to the original test pour of two dore bars in March.
James T. O'Neil Jr., CEO of Gryphon Gold, commented, "We have made progress over the last three months moving beyond our start-up production challenges to producing 3,122 ounces of dore in April. At this level, we estimate that we will be able to cover our fixed costs and generate sufficient cash to begin to strengthen our balance sheet, increase our assets and invest in expanded production capacity. Our heap leach processes are flowing well and we expect final work on the structure for the Adsorption Desorption Recovery ("ADR") building to be completed in May. Importantly, we can begin to look forward. We are commencing a drill program to define our next steps in efforts to expand our existing resources. We also have plans to expand our production capacity." Gryphon Gold expects to achieve an annual production rate of 25,000-30,000 ounces of gold with its expanded facilities in 2012.
Gryphon Gold currently has $4.0 million in the treasury. Gryphon Gold plans to invest in capacity expansion through additional crushing capabilities, doubling the size of the existing leach pad and refinement of its production processes.

I care, the financing is not death spiral, it may be paid off in only a year. John Key got less financing and doubled the outstanding shares over 90,000,000 shares for his financing. This new financing is not bad from the position we were in. IMO
The silence is very concerning. I agree with you. I'm very concerned with our costs per ounce. It needs to turn around really quickly or I fear more dilution or a temporary shut down getting rid of the releached material off the heap and starting with ore of a better grade. I hope I am way off on this guess.
"No information from out West either." You guys seem to be talking in code. I'm very interested in your discussion. If one of you could private message me I would like to chat and give you my e-mail address.
A very good post cork. Look at what historically usually happens to the price of gold after negative lease rates.

My concern is that this is a slow stock for news. If 700,000 plus shares are sold at this price(high volume). They won't be strong enough hands to hold for further trickle down. We are going lower.
T.GGN is GYPH sold on the Canadian stock exchange. T.GGN had over 700,000 in volume today, that concerns me at this price.
Coming soon hopefully within the next few days.
I now think that 12-15 Kg was for a dry ton. I think the numbers are now more like 4-8Kg/wet ton.
New guess for the 4.05 ton shipment.
From what I have learned the carbon acts like a sponge for gold and silver 4000g-8000g/ton or 4-8Kg/ton.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carbon_in_p...
Lets split the differnce and call it 6Kg per ton
6Kg/ton X 4tons =24 Kg
there is about 35 oz/Kg
35oz/Kg X 24Kg = 840oz
I think we will average 5oz of silver for every 1oz of gold.
=140 oz gold and 700oz of silver. Just my WAG.

I have a 50K a year job, I put $6,500 into GYPH in early August and plan on holding at least long enough to get long term gains. I wonder which one(the job or Gyph) will have made me more money by next August?
GYPH has almost been a full bagger for me.
Real company, well managed below budget and on schedule.
Has just broke multiyear resistance on high volume today.
You may find it hard to sell this winner, I have held it for months, I may go ultra long here.

I saw a youtube video with Mr. Key on Moneytv and Mr. Key felt that once Gryphon went into production, Gryphon's entire 2.5 million gold ounces in reserves would be revalued between 50$-$100 dollars an ounce because those ounces are closer to hitting the market than they were before. That would be a market capacity of $125,000,000-$250,000,000. or approximately .60-$1.20, just within the next 3-6 months I bet.
Bi weekly shipments from now on!
AXcess News: Gryphon Gold Becomes First Junior Gold Producer in Nevada This Year
print
Gryphon Gold Gorp (OTCBB:GYPH)
Intraday Stock Chart
Today : Monday 17 October 2011
Gryphon Gold Corp. (OTCBB: GYPH) became the first junior gold producer in Nevada in 2011 after having shipped carbon columns loaded with silver and gold from its Borealis Mine in Mineral County. Gryphon's President John Key called the shipment a "milestone event" for the company.
According to sources in the company, Gryphon Gold will be shipping carbon columns bi-weekly from here on out and could report gold production figures sometime in the second half of November.
The company's shares set a new 52-week high in early morning trading on the Over-the-Counter Bulletin Board market Monday, reaching a high of $0.32.
GYPH completed a secondary offering in May, having raised $10 million through an underwriting led by Roth Capital in the U.S. with Acumen Capital of Alberta managing the Canadian sale of common stock. In all, the two underwriters brought in enough buying to take down $1 million of the underwriters over allotment. Proceeds from the offering allowed Gryphon Gold to build out its leach pad operation and with the help of an additional $3 million in debt, also placed by the underwriters, the company had the capital to build the ADR plant. The plant will permit the processing of carbon into bullion on-site, saving as much as 5% in costs. The company expects the plant to be in operation sometime during the beginning of the new year.
Gryphon Gold is forecasting an annual production rate of approximately 48,000 ounces of gold once in full production at a cost basis near $400 per ounce this year. Based on current prices, that would put the company's pre-tax earnings somewhere in the $60 million range. For shareholders, Monday's announcement on shipping carbon columns may be a 'milestone event,' as Key stated, though production figures to come later this fall could substantiate Gryphon Gold's forecast.

Thank you for your concern. I hope the sellers are ecstatic with their 15% gain taxed at 35% lol. Someday the 50 day moving average will be close to our .32 resistance and then boom the flippers will be left stuttering, saying bu bu but wha what happened. I will wait for 2 1/2 years or $3999 gold / ounce which ever one happens first.
I'm home today, watching my sick little girl, I thought there could be some good fireworks today from the news. Amazing how some stocks have news that move a stock 50% in a day that never comes to fruition. We have a defining moment in GYPH's history, real news. Wonder if we will go red today? lol
Oh well, back to lurking patiently.
We have over 4 tons of loaded carbon, from about 3 weeks of leaching.

This is the type of volume that we should be having at these prices. I think all the shares finally got into the right hands again. We will see.
Not many weak hands here but a few. I won't flip gold might slip a hundred bucks an ounce short term but I want the long term gains on this baby. Even if production numbers are quite low when compared to company estimates, there is no reason to predict a price under .50/share six months from now. We are golden, those that aren't overleveraged.
Thanks Good luck to you as well. I like to keep my expectations low, maybe I will be pleasantly surprised. I would love for gold to do something silly like go to $2,300 this time next year. Then we would see 20+ baggers here. This is the best investment in the market. IMO
All the management needs to do is continue to show they are competant, under budget, and their time frame is on pace. I haven't seen a Junior Miner plan their work and work their plan as well as GYPH. The powerpoint on their website is very thorough in explaining how they come up with their numbers, and they reconfirmed the Prefeasability Study. Even if their numbers only come to 75% of expectations with a PE of 10x I thoroughly expect my $6,500 investment to conservatively become $40,000 within 18 months. This is the only buy and hold stock I own. The next 6 weeks should be a hoot. I picked up my last 10,000 shares today. Whoever has sold me my 25,000 shares this month for under a .255 average please look in the mirror and slap yourself lol, just kidding. GLTA.
I don't think I was wrong in thinking the stock could have a major move up getting the 68M contract, but I didn't know that there was major diluting going on until I looked at the chart after hours Friday. It has been a great year, this was my biggest screw up so far. Recognizing it quickly and getting those two orders in early shows growth in my trading. GLTA last post on this board.PTL
