Not a bad day. After such a nice run up yesterday you have to expect profits to be taken and still the price is above .005. Good day today and I'm sure we will see a lot more in the near and distant future.
Let me be the first to weigh in on your question. If we are valued at 1/10 of the other cord blood company who recently sold then by my underestimation we would be worth .055 Just an uneducated guess.
Just gonna add my two cents cause two cents don't amount to much.
Been gone for the entire week and came back and saw that the results of the meeting were released and the 10q was also released. I saw a lot of posters pleading for PR's from Red Oak to let the world know what is going on in hopes that it will generate more interest in this company. In my own opinion the annual meeting results were no surprise nor was the 10q which really produced very little cash. Don't get me wrong, we are finally on the positive side of the ledger thanks to what Oak has done so far but I believe they have much bigger plans in mind. By them keeping quiet means that they can catch other companies off guard and besides, did we really want another management to come in and do the pump and dump kind of razzle dazzle that most other penny companies do just so they can pocket our money.
To summarize, I feel they are already on the right track and the only PR's I really want to see are those that really stick out in the investment community. These people have a track record so lets just sit back and watch the magic they can create.
And, thanks for the two replies about the change of date on the stockholders meeting. Apparently I didn't turn in my proxy and by being reminded of the new date I was able to electronically file my vote..
A question for everyone. Now that Planned Parenthood has been allegedly caught selling fetal specimens which is illegal and once investigations begin, does anyone think that with that market drying up it will have any affect on CBAI?
What have I missed, I thought the shareholders meeting was set for July 14? Help...
It's always a good time to day trade and the past hour and a half has proved it. Never say never with the market makers in penny land.
Just received my proxy vote and decided to vote my shares online.
Seeing how this is a 1/3 of a penny per share I have decided to vote YES...Red Oak is a good company and I feel that they should have free reign to run this company without any constrictions.
Just my humble opinion.
Mike, I feel your pain. I was once into a stock that was starting to heat up but I worked during the day. What I did was put a stop loss order that was about 30% below the current stock price so I wouldn't get wiped out while I was working. I am talking about a penny stock by the way. I came home that evening and checked the stock price which went up about 10% for the day which excited me until I see that the MM's walked the stock down to catch the low priced stop losses and then sold it all the way back up for a gain on the day. A day that I should have gained 10% was a 30% loss for me. I quit bitching about what they were doing, it really isn't illegal as people put their stock up for sale at ridiculous prices and they know a bargain when they see one and they will walk the price down just to pick up the cheap shares. It's just what they do. If it weren't for the weak and scared investors, they couldn't get away with what they do.
Something else to think about. If we keep the shares at 890 mill then there will be no room for growth and this new board can break up the company and sell it as there is no more need to watch it wither on the vine. I just voted my shares "YES". I'm here to make cash, not watch my 1/3 of a penny per share fall to 1/10 until we are broken up and have nothing to show for it as the remainder of the cash would go to the debtors who take us to court.
Myth, I'm certainly a dabbler in stock and not an expert but with that being said.....They got compensated in "preferred" stock and from what I know, and I could be wrong, Preferred Stock holders have rights before common stock holders. Lets say that there were to be a dividend paid, preferred would at this point in CBAI's business dealings be paid first and probably not stock holders because they just don't have the cash to splash it around. All I am trying to say is that Preferred has rights that common doesn't. And usually, common stockholders have voting rights where preferred does not. So, who knows just how much power that their preferred status holds over this company. Obviously a lot as they are allowed to have special board elections which could get rid of some or all of the current board members.(Wouldn't that be payment enough?) Like I said, I am not a pro so if some of this is inaccurate please don't chew me out. Just do your own homework and enlighten everyone here. Spin
8-K just came out this morning with the legalities that happened on Thursday. I can't make out if it is good or bad for this company. Just looks like "Oak" has taken the company over. I hope it isn't their plan to break the company up.
Would like to hear what others think about this after they read the news.
I know I don't belong on this site anymore but when the only news is that they have sold 50 million shares to some fortunate insider for .049 each and they turn around and cash it in at .06 then the lucky stock buyer just pocketed 1/2 million dollars. And that is news? That is news of dilution or a ponzi scheme. Watch the stock fall even more.
Somebody recently wrote this.
There are many CBIS longs here and feel the same way. GLTY!
Unfortunately when you "feel" you are using your emotions. This is stock ownership and trading with your hard cash and I think you should be using your brain and due diligence, not your emotions.
I'm glad I cashed out of CBIS when I did because I then put my cash into NDEV (medical marijuana insurance) with actual wall street and insurance executives running the company and very small share count. On 10/15 they officially started selling MMJ insurance in Arizona and Vermont and have filed in five other states which are pending. Rollout was only yesterday and the stock price is up from .335 to .40 already.
If you think it's a great buy, wait another four weeks when it is at .03 then it will be an astronomical buy.
DFDBTB, I humbly ask your forgiveness. Truthfully, this is no joke. I was on the wrong page thinking that this was one of those mmj pages who have nothing to show for their nothing research. I own stock in this company and I feel the directors are not scam artists but real businessmen putting together a product "insurance for Medical Marijuana users" and that they are on the leading edge of their field. Apologies!
If medical marijuana cures so much, as you say, then why is there any continuing research being done with cannabis? But remember now, no private company can legally do research, only an approved government institution, so how can you shill for this company when all of the research supposedly has been done and the only research left to do is by the government? Crazy!
This company is so lame that the only news that anyone can post is old rehashed news! Why not go back and re-release the divy news and really get the newbies excited.
It means that this company has no substance. Only empty promises over and over again. No research, no products, no employees and no money. So if you would like to invest into something like that go right ahead. And by the way, this company is about ready to double the amount of shares in order to keep the same nothingness going at investors expense. You can argue with me if you like but really, shouldn't you be arguing with the corporate money grabbers inside this company instead?
I don't think F 15 said the same thing by copying and pasting, you are confusing him with the phony press releases that this company copies and pastes.
Good spin McKinley but what did they do with the original 850 million shares? All I see that they did was run the company into so much debt that they are going to ask the shareholders for an additional 650 million shares. I do not currently own any shares but if I did I would need a promise from corporate that not a single share would go to the people in charge of this operation, not a single one. All they did with the previous 850 mil shares was to sell it to insiders for a penny and they turned around and sold it on the market for up to .298 cents until they drove the stock price down to its present level. With the additional 650 mill shares to keep this racket open, that will cut the current price of .07 to .035 and falling. Just my thoughts.
How about this report published today, McKinley. How do you spin this?
2. GOING CONCERN
The accompanying consolidated financial statements have been prepared in conformity with generally accepted accounting principles, which contemplate the continuation of the Company as a going concern. The Company reported an accumulated deficit of $99,899,293 and had a stockholders’ deficit of $2,923,426 at June 30, 2014.
In view of the matters described, there is substantial doubt as to the Company's ability to continue as a going concern without a significant infusion of capital. At June 30, 2014, the Company had insufficient operating revenues and cash flow to meet its financial obligations. There can be no assurance that management will be successful in implementing its plans. The consolidated financial statements do not include any adjustments that might result from the outcome of this uncertainty.
The Company raised $1,000,000 in the six months ended June 30, 2014. Notwithstanding, we anticipate that we will have to raise additional capital to fund research and development and operations over the next 12 months. To the extent that we are required to raise additional funds to acquire research and growing facilities, and to cover costs of operations, we intend to do so through additional public or private offerings of debt or equity securities. There are no commitments or arrangements for other offerings in place, no guaranties that any such financings would be forthcoming, or as to the terms of any such financings. Any future financing may involve substantial dilution to existing investors. We had been relying on our common stock to pay third parties for services that has resulted substantial dilution to existing investors.

Time to load up on the shares? HUH? This company has no shares left. I will not buy stock in a company just because they release another hollow pr stating that "pretrial research" will begin. Sounds like years away and in the interim they have no cash to really do any research. If they partner up with this other company, won't that give the other company the patent? So where does CBIS stand?
This stock will be a dollar soon. No products to sell, no research to back up their claims, no patents to show the are even making progress, no more shares for the insiders to sell, come on McKinley back me up..... Just because they are dipping into the 7's doesn't mean this company is in jeopardy as is your investment cash. To Da Moon, right McKinley?
I also bought into this scam. Glad I got out when it was still in the
17's. SCAM SCAM SCAM.
Seems that they vote themselves millions of shares at a penny apiece and then they turn around and sell on the market for .10 cents or more. Why not just sell the shares on the market for the dime and put the money to good use? Because the insiders can't get rich off of the suckers that way. Scam company and there are pumpers out there who just keep serving up the Kool-Aid.
This is what you stated on 5/21/2014.
In June you will make money! Doesn't really matter what you think of the company. Just a dose of Reality. Take it for what it is.
Good Luck!!
-Pier
A dose of reality is this. The stock closed at .126 on the first trading day of the month and ended at .098 at the end of the month.
That unfortunately was a 22% drop in June. What does your crystal ball predict for July? I guess it really does matter what you think of this company, or at least what you think of your cash.
McKinley1, you just stated a bunch of facts, or you believe them to be so, so let me review them and respond. So, research is going on in Europe and how long could that take? Lets say a year to three before they come out with something that is worth a human study. They do the study and find out that for the majority of patients it actually works. This last study will probably take 1 to 3 years. Then lets say they get approval for sale and use in Europe. It now goes into medical journals which then receives the attention of the FDA. They take a year or two to "discuss" with themselves whether this new drug should be allowed to be tested in the US. After about a seven year test and only if the positives outweigh the negatives would it be allowed for sale and use in the US. Even if they did that, the federal laws will have to be changed to be able to sell it legally here. So, rah-rah boy, even in the best of circumstances it will take ten to fifteen years for this stock to realize any value from what is happening in Europe. Just my thoughts.
Oh by the way. There are a lot of drugs available in other countries which are banned in the US. FYI
Don't get me wrong, I like this stock as a speculative stock, not an investment. I will probably buy in again once they announce their authorization of hundreds of millions more shares and the price starts to dip into the double and triple zero level and I am confident that will be happening sooner than later as this company is broke and out of shares.
You say this company is ready to break out? This company is more likely to break out with an STD by the way the execs are wildly screwing its stockholders
They will probably issue your "divy" just after they file for bankruptcy or get out of jail, whichever comes first.
OK, so that was a bit long because it seems that the rah-rah group on this site doesn't seem to want to read past the headline so let me just put the last two sentences up here for you to read.
Any future financing may involve substantial dilution to existing investors. We had been relying on our common stock to pay third parties for services which has resulted in substantial dilution to existing investors.
Let me post one section from the 10Q issued today that you are probably not interested in.

Shareholder dilution is on the way, says so in their 10Q. This company will run out of cash before they make any.
Good article you posted, shows all the turmoil surrounding the legalization of marijuana. But still, even if the house passes this and sends it over to the Senate, Harry Reid will probably table the measure because he won't pass anything that the house sends over. Very political climate in Washington right now and until Reid vacates his Senate Majority leadership I feel that this bill will go nowhere. Still doesn't change my mind, it is still illegal in the US and until we get a bill passed and signed into law I will not gamble my cash on this industry. Just Sayin!
And don't forget that research by the private sector is still illegal.
That is only 6 weeks of insider selling, it goes on. Seems that the insiders award themselves with warrants for pennies on millions of shares and turn around and sell them to people like the "pumpers" on this site for eight cents or more pocketing all the cash between "their" buy and sell. Sure smells of a scam.
Did you get to see today's "News Release". Doctor OZ says that medicinal marijuana should be looked at. Wow, really!! And these pump and dumpers call that actual news. TO DUH MOON, I guess.
Right you are, only Universities that the government chooses are allowed to do the research, not private companies (research is still illegal in the private sector). But, and this is not against you, look at today's news and see that the stock price didn't gain a full penny. Why is everyone geeked? If you haven't done your research you could start with the share structure and who owns the majority of those shares and how many millions of those shares they have cashed in already to become millionaires. Remember, not any cash has come in from sales of anything and the research isn't allowed in the US.
PS The company is almost out of shares and will be increasing the number of shares just to stay afloat and you know that when that happens your eight pennies will become diluted.
Please do your homework.
Once again how is this great for CBIS? State sponsored research which means that Universities will be allowed to do the research and not private companies. Read the "whole" article will you?
CBIS is also down 76% from its yearly high so which number makes us feel warm and fuzzy?
What is coming in June that keeps your hopes up. Looks like you are 37% down from your initial buy in so how do you keep smiling?
Sorry McKinley but I already knew all of what you reprinted here and I must say that your article further backs up my claim that this company is doing something illegal.
I am not arguing the fact that some states have voted to legalize medicinal marijuana, my concern is with the legality of the research into cannabinols by a private firm such as CBIS. As is stated in this statement
“[The current scheduling] limits the access for cannabinols [a class of compounds that include the active ingredient in marijuana] for even research—it is very difficult…We believe there should be a scientific review of cannabinols in the treatment of pain and other issues…We support research on the use of cannabinols for medical use”
Only Government approved facilities have been allowed by the US Government to do research such as Universities, not private industry. And secondly it is still illegal to grow, harvest, sell or have in your possession, marijuana according to Federal Law. Just because this administration is turning a blind eye to the marijuana laws doesn't mean that future presidents will do the same. And because it is illegal to deal with illegal drugs the banks will not accept cash from "legal" marijuana companies because of bank laundering laws.
In summation I will agree that marijuana laws and policies are changing but until the fed strikes down the law pertaining to marijuana, the companies who think that they are doing research are really doing something illegal or just telling people that they are into research but are only peddling shares in a "shell company" and that is my concern here.
