The chart was and is looking good,but I was all in at
98%-C/2%-S end of day Monday.Went 100%-G EOD today.
Had a really great return for the week,but happy with
that gain and gun shy with the swings on the news from

3M gets $4.6 million electric-car battery grant

WASHINGTON - The Obama administration has awarded $4.6 million to 3M Co. to develop a long-life, low-cost battery to be used in electric cars. The grant, announced Wednesday, is part of the government's effort to build more energy-efficient, environmentally friendly vehicles.

The project at the Maplewood-based giant is one of 12 focused on electric car batteries. Overall, the advanced research project dispensed $175 million for 40 projects in 15 states.

These projects cover everything from electronics to lightweight materials to better fuels, lubricants and tires that will make vehicles run more efficiently.

Last month, President Obama announced fuel-efficiency standards designed to have cars and light trucks get 54.5 miles per gallon of gasoline by the 2025 model year.
