SEC says extends short sale ban on financial stocks

The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission on Wednesday said it would extend its existing short sale ban on financial stocks while Congress completes work on financial bailout legislation. The ban had been scheduled to expire on Thursday night.

* Said its short sale ban on financial stocks will now expire on the third business day after U.S. legislation is enacted, and will not be extended beyond October 17.

* Said it would also extend a short sale disclosure requirement through October 17.

* Said it would also extend a rule to curb abusive short selling through October 17.

I truly believe if the PPS where to be let say $2.50 today everybody would be very happy right! Even better if it was at $5.00 CB would be a hero. BUT this is NOT the case. Things are really starting to heat up, alot of positive attention is shinning on Ivanhoe as we speak and Yes thing are taking shape nicely. My prediction for the total completion in Alberta sands should take place within 3 yrs, plus there is a lot more to come in the very near future. Be ready the light at the end of the tunnel is finally here.

PPS will turn around soon!
What we need just about now is good news to turn this baby around. It would also get the shorter's caught with their pants down sort a speak , in a very difficult position if the PPS sky rockets and quit the bashers also.
How low can it go, in my opinion we are at the lowest it can go? PPS will past the $5.00 very soon.
We have nothing to fear and everything to gain at this point all we need is Ivanhoe to develop or unfold and sign contract and or commitments.
