Well put, hitimer.
Cobra, do you think we'll be hearing anything substantial from the company by Easter?
I saw this on the RB PVN message board.

CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT AGAINST RAGING BULL
I am a CEO of another public company where people continually post bashing and offensive messages. I am putting this message out to hundreds of companies that might be affected by abusive, degrading, obscene, hateful, vulgar, profane, racist, defamatory, or discriminatory language in postings.
I have problems with Lycos removing and disclosing who some of the posters are who hide behind their usernames. I want to hold Lycos accountable for the damages they have caused my company and my shareholders.
Have you had any problems with Raging Bull not enforcing their own "Terms of Service" on this site?
Have you seen abusive, degrading, obscene, hateful, vulgar, profane, racist, defamatory, or discriminatory language in postings directed toward you or anyone else or any company listed on this site, but Raging Bull has failed or refused to remove the offensive postings?
We believe the "Terms of Service" strictly prohibit such postings, yet Lycos/Raging Bull does not take sufficient action to remove such postings -- even when repeatedly requested to do so.
The result is that most sites have become, in many instances, a repository of misinformation and name-calling, rather than a place where intelligent ideas and pertinent information regarding companies and their stock are freely exchanged.
A "Class Action" type lawsuit is currently being put together to require Raging Bull to actually comply with its own "Terms of Service" -- the very terms under which all Raging Bull Members thought this site was being administered.
If you are interested in sharing any problems you have had in this regard, or are interested in directly or indirectly participating in this lawsuit, please contact me at ConcernedCEO@hotmail.com.
spokeshave, how long is the window of opportunity for the NVEI tech before FTTH possibly becomes the standard? Could the NVEI tech still remain a prominent revenue-bearing product even if FTTH thrives?
mag, that JH statement made my day.
Has anyone seen are heard any independent reports on NVEI's presentation at the CCIA meeting?
Northern Trader, actually my first price target is the coveted $4.00 mark. Hopefully, then NASDAQ reapplication will prove successful with the resulting institutional ramifications. Have you heard any discussion as to what the game plan is to get NVEI to $4.00? Will a positive "white papers" PR do it? I'm not sure a major broker enlightenment campaign by Elite will get us to $4.00 unless they have more solid evidence to present that a viable product is on the horizon.
In light of this week's developments, how realistic are these price targets for NVEI? 1 year: $10, 2 year: $25, 3 year: $45
"imminent", WOW! I don't want to sound like a "pumper" but yesterday I indicated that I thought NVEI should be pushing $1.00. That was before the fabulous news today. Elite's selling job seems to be getting easier and easier. GO NVEI!
flopflip, that, in essence is what I was asking. With recent deveopments, NVEI should be pushing $1.00.
Mikey has really let up on his criticism of NVEI. However, he mentioned a sizeable "dump" of NVEI stock today. Is this a valid concern, especially now that things are looking up?
I asked JH, "John, Evidence of progress seems to be unfolding. Please give me some idea of the reactions from those in attendance at the ccia conference. Were there skeptics? If so, what were some of their concerns about the tech and it's deployment? Did you sense any overwhelming positive reactions? Also, when can can shareholders expect to see the fruits of Elite's labor? Looking forward to hearing from you."
JH's reply, "We were in the presence of seasoned executives. None of them expressed the slightest skepticism or doubt. The first question was "can you reveal the name of the RBOC carrier you will be doing trials with?". It was a 100% positive experience."
Elderwolf, that would be sustaining $4.00 a share for 30 days, correct? When can shareholders expect to notice the fruits of Elite's labor?
Porscha or any meeting attendee, was the subject of reapplying for NASDAQ addressed?
tommcarty, did you say you have some contacts at the meeting that could possibly offer some insight into the presentation and how it was received? If so, that would be great.
This was on JDSU RB board. Doesn't this reveal indirectly NVEI's potential market?

Tech Ain't dead!!!!
Don't you believe it. Even if 70% of the fiber in the ground isn't "LIT" yet that is not the coming market.
All the fiber that is out there now is backbone and at most runs to the COs. All the runs from the COs to houses and most businesses is still copper. The next big market is to replace all the wire you see above ground with fiber. First to the poles and then to the drops and then inside the buildings themselves. The total amount of footage dwarfs the amount of fiber that has been used so far.
All of the above is my opinion - ya know. Do not invest on my say-so.

kenecom, please keep an eye-out for his take. I have a real good feeling NVEI is about to KICK A!!!
WHP03, will there be any indepedent, unbiased evaluations of Mr. Wilson's presentation available? Possibly a tech analyst from the San Diego paper or a professional tech publication?
Thanks WHPO3, there is enormous potential here, if they can pull it off.
theforce3, that was a cool post.
Mikey, I feel shareholders should expect to see a demo of the protype by the SH meeting. However, a "major" endorsement by an individual or company before that would propel NVEI. IMO
I really would like to see, A) NVEI deliver a PR that really exemplifies a company that has indeed produced a viable product, not fluff, B) that should get us in the range to qualify for NASDAQ, C) get some serious interest from institutions.
Could someone tell me NVEI's float situation? Is it still low enough to spark a big pop on a "major" PR?
Does anybody have any speculation as to a "milestone" about ready to pop?
excel, do you know if someone will providing the specifics of the Dallas meeting presentations and Q and A sessions?
