OUST. don't know if LiDAR stocks are going to ever get up off their ass, but this is a nice double pinch chart.
That's turning into a real beaut on the weekly chart. Some thoughts on the daily to mesh with the weekly: https://stockcharts.com/h-sc/ui?s=CBIO&p=D&yr=0&mn=6&dy=0&id=p28379988295&a=1117885432&listNum=21
Checking out AVRO. Pincher technically and want to look at this company some more fundamentally. A quick look shows over $200 million in cash at the end of Q3 and a $65 million loan deal with Silicon Valley Bank. Yeah, they burned through $32 million in Q3, but a $66 million market capitalization seems to undervalue the company at first blush. Biotechs have been the market's whipping boy for quite a while; time to turn this franchise around.
all those previously mentioned LiDAR companies are delivering the last couple days. I put them in a stock charts.com watchlist: https://stockcharts.com/public/1539654. I'd say to keep an eye on the EV space in general too. It's just been brutalized.
Watching, but Chinese companies and I have a long and disturbing history of me wondering what the hell happened.
Damn, wish I woulda seen XELA earlier. Oh well...Nice pickup BooDog! Hope all is well with the fam.
Unless this bi-polar market shifts gears, things are looking bumpy again today. Good insight found in your post interloper!
Good Lord everything is still getting wrecked. I'm not positive, but I think that if the Dow closes in the red again today it will be the first time since Feb/March of 2020 (during the height of the COVID-19 freak-out) that the Dow has closed down in 6 straight days.
both nice setups. I don't trust SONN, sucker has been a turd for years and fooled me a couple times it seems. lol
I happen to write a piece this morning on LiDAR. Man, thet is one beaten down market segment with a bunch of pinchers formed/forming. Check out companies like VLDR, OUST, AEYE, AEVA, MVIS, LAZR, INVZ, ALGM.
Looks to me like if it can break $4.40 it may have a nice pop in it. Nasdaq Global Select stock even.
AGMH pinching. nice support at $2.30.
Days like yesterday jack charts up. All that buying and then closing way lower than the high. Long upper shadows are the devil, mama.
...and there goes SPRB. Nice jump after hours; think I'll scalp me some profits.
BXRX more of a pinch to me. Seems like I've played that one before. Rock on, BooDog.
Yeah, biotech has definitely been some tough sledding lately. I was on the phone with an institutional bank a couple days ago that was commenting along the lines of "holy sh*t our small cap biotech plays have been languishing lately." They don't sweat it too much, though. Obviously, they're deep in the weeds with those investments as far as due diligence, long holders, and generally have a nice backstop in place.
I like the looks of SPRB that was mentioned on this board too. Let's see what it's got in the tank today for maybe a quick scalp.
Wassup BooDog! Man, I haven't looked here in a while. Actually grabbed some SDC a couple days ago. POS management (from a 30,000-foot view), but the pinch is in effect!
ummm...I'd say that's a big pop.
TZA: Man, those bear pinchers just aren't coming to fruition in this eternally optimistic market environment. I have had tons of them (HDGE comes to mind) come up in scans lately only to get wrecked with the continued upward push.
Wow. Beautiful on weekly interloper. Nice job!
Galectin...boy I haven't heard that name in quite a while.
Had to do a quick in-and-out on LMNL to offset some boredom inflicted by everything gapping down thing morning.
yessir...it sucks sometimes, but it sure doesn't if they come tumbling back down.
That's pretty. Sweet play.
Yeah, it goes below it. It is not going to get super tight it doesn't look like, but the -DI and +DI are set up okay along with the ADX and PPO. Today's candle was a doji, so it's worth watching to see what's in store. I always just look to play a first pinch for a quick bounce, often just a daytrade. Time will tell.
Starting to keep a casual eye on NAK again for a flip.
FTRCQ either going to make a big pop ahead of drop to another new low soon. This sideways movement can't go on much longer.
Agreed. The nice thing about active big board stocks that are pinching is the viability of playing call options also. I don't mind OTC plays, although getting burned by incessant dilution and management b/s has taught me they are for flipping. Smash and grab profits with tight stop/losses and no emotions.
I used to daytrade BK plays on the move. Never hold those suckers for obvious reasons, but they can be some nice flips. Watching FTRCQ at $0.105 and CHKAQ at $2.05 out of that group you listed. Those look to me to have potential.
We must have similar scans. I have many of those on my list too. Thanks!
Dangit...missed BTU after watching the consolidation the last week. Will still keep an eye on this for continuation which easily could be in the cards from here.
Really nice move today, naturalborninvestor. Sweet call.
I know nothing about the company or fundamentals BooDog. I'm just looking at the second pinch and divergence. Let me know what you see. Low floaters can always be fun!
Watching QLGN for an entry around $3.30 if possible. Keeps the risk side low and increases the upside opportunity.
Watching for the possibility of a double bottom. Flipping LMNL for the same reason. We'll see what happens.
That's not much of a pinch in my opinion, but I definitely like the setup of the positive divergence. Good luck; I will be paying attention to this one.
Got about 18% from RAIL, INPX and BVXV. Took a piece of ASMB today and just jumped in NAK looking for a scalp (that one may sting a little...damn trampoline plays).
Hopefully it holds. I almost bailed yesterday, but didn't give up on the technicals.
Got in yesterday. Will get out with a profit no matter what now. Good call BooDog.
Here we go....
