OT: Guys and gals..a quiz
Where did that saying "Frankie Says Relax" come from?
Serfy serf.....
how are things? did you get my email?
absolutely Kam. eom
Ok maninfla. eom
Maninfla, go to website...
http://www.telatinos.com/old/
That can be very good, or..
VERY BAD. whats going on? EVEN you are the clue.
Hoppy, I don't know how accurate those float numbers are. eom
Ok, so i see the dolphin tail now.
Thanks for clearing that up Mr. Hoppy.
OK...PKZ, now we are talkin my language..
PKZ - PetroKazakhstan
I personally feel that this stock is going to 40 in 2 months. Lets say you buy 100 shares = 2800.00. You watch this thing trade up and down, but i feel primarily up. Once it gets to 33, you set a bottom at that price. You want to keep the 500.00 dollars (minus commission) but you allow your stock to go UP. I would not set a high, but once it crosses my threshold of 33, i set a BOTTOM. Now if it keeps rising (i would expect profit taking at some point), and you can get to 38, you SELL. I feel that this scenario is accurate for the next 2 month period. That is how I will trade it.
Why do I expect this? Well,
ITS P/E RATIO IS 3.75!! are you kidding me???
Lets compare this (P/E ratio) to others in the sector~~~>
Chesapeake Energy (CHK)~~>13.71
Pioneer Drilling (PSC)~~~>82.35
PetroQuest (PQUE)~~~~~~~~>15.46
Nabors Industries (NBR)~~>24.26
Grew Wolf (GW)~~~~~~~~~~~>38.53
All of the companies listed above are "Buys" according to the dzynstudios method of picking stocks. The point is, PKZ has the lowest P/E ratio of all of them and has money coming out of the WAZUU! Look at the Balance Sheet.
http://finance.yahoo.com/q/bs?s=PKZ&annual
Further more, this stock pays a dividend of 2.53% (at these levels) = .66 cents per share annually.
Ok, what are the downfalls of this stock?
1. It is a Canadian company working mainly out of Kazakhstan (= NOT AMERICAN)
2. Read part of this press release from Reuters "But its share price fell about 9 percent after it released its results as investors fretted over the company's disputes with Kazakh authorities and top Russian oil firm LUKOIL (LKOH.RTS: Quote, Profile, Research) , its partner in a production joint venture." Link~~~> http://yahoo.reuters.com/financeQuoteCompanyNewsArticle.jhtml?duid=mtfh51435_2005-05-03_18-46-58_n03...
3. Short interest has grown (doubled?) from last month to this. But understand, it is still quite low.
In conclusion, I feel that this stock is a BUY, with a rating (1-5, 1 being GREAT, and 5 being POOR) of a 1.6. But always remember, I am not a stock analyst! LoL
Good Luck yall!
Dan
outlaw,
check out the entire sector. Chesapeake Energy (CHK) is a majority holder of PDC. Don't confuse CHK with CSK, both Chesapeake, but not the same. CSK is in trouble with the SEC. Anyway, check out NABORS (NBR) but that sucker is too high for me.
Cheaper drillers and oils are:
Grey Wolf (GW) $6.55
PetroQuest (PQUE) <~~~~~somewhat risky, but i think good. $5.72
and how bout this crazy one~~~>a bit more expensive...
PetroKazakhstan (PKZ) $28.00 <~~~~~this one i am VERY interested in.
GLTY
To the CURRENT EVEN,
Would you please disclose your position on Telatinos, Inc.
Are you short, long, or neither.

Dan
PS~~~>Listen to Frankie---below.
LoL
Dan
Bloc, would you disclose...
your connection with Telatinos, Inc.? Are you a friend of Paul's, investor, or insider, all of the above?
Thank you.
insiders, major investors, shorts..please read.
RE: This letter is to the major controlling parties of this stock/company.
Ladies and Gentlemen:
If I can speak for the longs that got caught up in this battle between "old friends", I would like to address the events of the past week, in a brief manner.
As you all know, there is speculation that a LARGE short position (perhaps naked) on Telatinos, Inc.(TLND.PK) exists, perhaps for spite, definitely for profit. My understanding is that this position is held by a person that has ties to a controlling interest in Telatinos, in that these two men or entities were partners or co-workers in the past. The relationship ended badly and now there is this chess match between the two. If I am close to the reality of the situation, please continue to read along.
I understand when relationships end poorly, bad blood is created between the two interests and each wants to come out on top. But this time, innocents are caught in the middle, losing money in the process. I understand that there may be opportunities for the longs to "get out alive" much like the situation that was created earlier this week with the 33:1 split. But this is not an ideal situation, and what longs prefer is to see their investment grow with the company invested.
Please, I implore you, settle your differences in a proper manner, without causing collateral damage in the process. The opportunities are there to make ammends, while growing a viable VOIP company in the process, and allowing the short interest to cover with a profit. It is not time to be bitter, it is not time to be vindictive. Lets all make money, and move on from here.
Thank you for listening.
Sincerely,
Daniel

Matt, Thank you. maybe i am..
missing something. Let me look again.
Bloc vs. EVEN......eom
Matt, is it possible to change my settings...
so when I read "the last 50 postings", or "the next 10..", i can see the oldest at the top of my screen? Any information will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Dan
(PDC) Serf...this will be the last time i will mention this stock on "PennyFriends" since this is a 14 dollar stock. But, this is truly a Gem. Yes, it will go down a few points. The trick is to hold it for at least 1 month if it happens to go down, cause it WILL go back up. This company is a contract driller that also offers the Machinery and the Crew if need be. Now, i have to look back in their history, but my father-in-law told me about it, that he owned this at .70 cents, where it fell of Nasdaq? I think, which sent it to OTCBB, then came back on the American Stock Exchange a few years back. This one is a keeper, and great for trading also. Anyway. I will be talking Pennies from here on out, unless something really juicy comes up in another 5+ stock.
Dan
Serf...here is a Business summary from Yahoo.
PDC.
Pioneer Drilling Company provides contract land drilling services to oil and gas exploration and production companies. In addition to its drilling rigs, the company offers the drilling crews and the ancillary equipment needed to operate its drilling rigs. A land drilling rig consists of engines, a hoisting system, a rotating system, pumps, and related equipment to circulate drilling fluid, blowout preventers, and related equipment. It provides a drilling rig with required personnel to its customer, who supervises the drilling of the well in a daywork drilling contract. The company drills a well for its customer to a specified depth and under specified conditions in a turnkey contract. It has operations in the natural gas production regions of south Texas, east Texas, and north Texas. Pioneer Drilling conducts operations through its principal subsidiary, Pioneer Drilling Services, Ltd. As of June 28, 2004, its rig fleet consisted of 36 land drilling rigs. The company was incorporated in 1979 and is headquartered in San Antonio, Texas.
Since this is my favorite stock...
I had to create the board. Enjoy and lets make the loot.
Dan
OT: EVEN. i assume that is to me?
what are you talking about?
OT: EVEN...admit it...
you like my dog, don't you?
Perhaps. eom
EVEN....i have to say...
that the relationship between the real-life story and this stock, Telatinos, is conjecture. It may relate, but it all depends on whether Telatinos is in fact a scam. I don't see it that way. I see Telatinos as an upstart, trying to make a place for itself in VOIP. I may be wrong and may be naive, but if Telatinos does grow and eventually become a VOIP player in SA and USA, great for me. If not, i lost my money for good.

The Scorpion and the Frog: High Times and High Crimes
Editorial Reviews
From Publishers Weekly
Lauria was a Brooklyn tile layer turned stockbroker whose instincts for crime and appetite for the good life circa 1995 earned him $2,000 Ermenegildo Zegna suits and trips to St. Tropez. Eventually, as this insider memoir details, his instincts also earned him jail time for his role in masterminding one of the biggest stock swindles to date-a $40 million stock con that brought down two firms, White Rock and State Street, and eventually led to his indictment as well as to that of members of the Bonnano, Genovese and Colombo crime families. A native of Sicily, Lauria discovers his "entrepreneurial spirit" as a Long Island teenager, developing "a multi-tiered marketing program for marijuana" in high school. Offered a chance to be a "cold caller" at a mid-level brokerage firm, Lauria quickly moves onward and upward, taking readers along for the ride as he puts together a "pump and dump" stock-manipulation scheme: his firm secretly acquired control of securities in the name of offshore companies, artificially inflated the price by selling stock to investors in return for undisclosed cash payments, then sold the inflated stocks and deposited the profits in offshore accounts. The book's real drama comes when Lauria turns to old mob friends for help with keeping his scheme alive, which leads to "brutal mob intimidation and retaliation tactics" used against some stock brokers, while the Feds start to pursue Lauria's stock scams. He argues that, at the time, no brokerage house on Wall Street was completely clean, because the "pump and dump" profits were too much to keep away the mob. While the book is too long, Lauria's overall entertaining combination of elements from the film Wall Street and The Sopranos could receive an eager reception by the many people who currently conflate Wall Street and crime-that is, a lot of Americans.

The Scorpion and the Frog: High Times and High Crimes
Book Description The True Story of One Man's Fraudulent Rise and Fall on the Wall Street of the Nineties.
Salvatore Lauria was always a driven man. He wanted his share of the American Dream. During the get-rich-quick era of the 90s and the biggest bull market in history, Wall Street proved to be the ideal venue to demonstrate his many talents and to reveal some profound weaknesses. He learned his skills at reputable brokerage houses but his greed and ambition propelled him head-on into Wall Street's nests of Scorpions - shady traders, parasitic short-sellers, Italian and Russian Mafiosi - a world of stock manipulation, boiler rooms, fraud, racketeering, money laundering and violence. His quick but ill-gotten wealth admitted him into social circles that he could only dream about before his successes on the Street. He rented expensive offices, bought luxury apartments and homes, drove fast cars and enjoyed a highlife of parties and exotic travel. He found a world of sex, drugs and rock and roll that accompanied many "respected" business and political leaders. His business partners introduced him to the new Russia with its rich crime lord and "brat-pack" children. Lauria lost all sense of vulnerability and exposed himself and his family to betrayal, danger and harm. He was stung repeatedly by the Scorpions as he fought to keep his business and his wealth.
Eventually, and reluctantly, he realized that his moral and ethical lapses had made him an inviting target, a kept man in the sinister world of Wall Street corruption. As he tried to fend off the Scorpions, he learned that law enforcement was already planning the demise of the mob on Wall Street.
The Scorpion and The Frog is not a novel, although it reads like a fast-paced thriller. This is Lauria's personal reflection on his mercurial rise and fall that resembled a quest for the American Dream on amphetamines. Bad choices, bad people and extraordinary greed led to his downfall. His story will send a message to America's investors that the Street is rife with hucksters and manipulation, even at its most respected firms.

40 Wall Street and Fantasy Short Squeeze...
1. For the THIRD TIME. 40 Wall Street is the address of a promoter (shares for services) I found in the Trezac filings.
_____________________
I sorry, but I don't believe you. According to the old filings, 40 wall Street is the exact location of a former company PT worked at. Is that the "promoter" you mentioned? It doesn't look like they had anything to do with promotion. Since you will not share, I will:
"From 1995 to 1998, Mr. Taylor co-founded Hyde Park Advisors and served as a
principal of Hyde Parks Advisors a NASDAQ member, broker dealer affiliate of
Regency Capital Partners."
REGENCY CAPITAL PARTNERS, L.L.C.
40 WALL STREET
NEW YORK, NEW YORK, 10005
Here is something else that caught my eye:
Entity Type: FOREIGN LIMITED LIABILITY COMPANY
They are NOT not a stock promoter, LOL.
Now check this out:
HYDE PARK ADVISORS LTD.
Current Entity Name: REPUBLIC EQUITIES OF AMERICA, LTD.
Initial DOS Filing Date: AUGUST 13, 1996
County: NEW YORK
Jurisdiction: NEW YORK
Entity Type: DOMESTIC BUSINESS CORPORATION
Current Entity Status: INACTIVE
Selected Entity Address Information
REPUBLIC EQUITIES OF AMERICA, LTD.
40 WALL ST.
61ST FL.
NEW YORK, NEW YORK, 10005
Boom. 61st Floor--something that also came up when you mentioned 40 Wall. I did a little checking on the building itself....quite a history:
"In 1996, Donald Trump renovated 40 Wall Street to its original grandeur with 3,500 new Wausau windows, two 1,300-ton York Chillers, state-of-the-art safety and communications systems, and an all new Italian marble and bronze lobby."
HYDE PARK ADVISORS LTD. Initial DOS Filing Date: AUGUST 13, 1996
It also appears there was quite a nice penthouse suite right around 1996, eh? I wonder if peeps like Venice and Holly hung out up there.

So come on, please tell us why you brought it up?
EVEN...i think i have...
smoke coming out of my ears.
