Obviously that's not a problem for me, but if they need 'til the end of '14, I can live with that.
R/S's are one possible method of raising SP. The other is the NTEK way. Great management & employees, great products, great partners, great transparancy and an outstanding work ethic. Ok, $20 may be aa little high, but it's hard to succeed if you don't dream the dream first.
To all at NTEK - Thank you for all you're doing for NTEK. A lot of we shareholders are in awe of you.
IMO & GLTA
Remember the company goal discussed at the SHM was $1.00 to $1.50 by the end of 2014, but methinks they were being muy conservativo. I believe that with all the things going on at NTEK the stated goals are just the beginning - IMHO. Oh, forget the humble part. GO NTEK.
If 45 days after quarter end is correct, then Nov. 14th it is (Oct has 31 days). But, if it is 15th day of 2nd month after quarter close then Nov. 15th.
Long here - just not as many shares as I'd wish. I guess that's the story of my life.
Why afraid of an R/S? I had to enjoy the following:
Bought 240 @ $2.00, 1 year later a 1/10 R/S, and then another
1/10 R/S. Now I own 2 shares with a market of $.41/sh. Now it will cost me just to get rid of the stock to take the loss.
I've avoided other R/S opportunities. I do hope that TTDZ is not one of them in the future. I am long - but maybe not so strong. I'll just have to watch and keep doing my DD.
GLTY.
I like your style. If and when they pay .01 div each a quarter, they will pay for my investment with the first dividend. On the other hand, the kind gentleman who recommended this me will have about five times his original investment with that first dividend. I've been in since January and I'm not going anywhere. I'm long; NTEK's strong and we're going for the ride of a lifetime.
I was one of the couple of dozen shareholders at the first annual meeting. Do you think a few more of y'all will make the time for the 2nd? It will probably be a bit more lively.
See you there (in San Jose, I assume).
Ain't it great to be part of NTEK?
Ok! Now tell us what you really think about PEII.
Can anyone explain why the exchanges (and apparently the law) allow "naked short sales" - other than the obvious, making money. I can understand "covered short sales" - you're always at risk. But "naked shorts" - it's just selling something you don't own and if it were a car or real estate you would go to jail for fraud. Any thoughts would be greatfully received.
Go NTEK
Just hit the ask. If you're an investor, at this level a 1/10 of a cent doesn't matter. If you want to be a trader, then you have to worry that that 1/10 of a cent is the difference between green and red. But for NTEK, an investor will be the real winner. Foley and Company are going to make a lot rich and a lot more a whole lot better off. IMVHO. Heck, even my 92 year old dad owns 10K shares and he's never bought in the pennies before.
At the SM we were told that the goal was $1 - $1.50 by the end of 2014; that up to a 1 for 5 RS might then be used to enable NTEK to leave the OTC market. I about jumped out of my seat. No one promised this result. B U T, NTEK does seem to have a way of making goals become reality.
To those who wonder about possible insider trading issues, it is good to remember that if you discuss doing a bit of such trading with someone, and then you do so, even if the trade would be a misdemeanor, discussing it with another person could be "conspearacy". And conspearacy is always a felony. So, be very, very careful.
Unfortunately I didn't do enough DD. In a later message it was pointed out that this was PR'd in April - 2012 that is. I guess once more I learn to do the DD. Always a good idea.
How do we know that Zipmark is using the MYEC software? If yes, great. If not, we have some competition. If this latter is the case, are they possibly attempting to misuse our patent or in the alternative, have they come up with their own system? I think I'll write MYEC and see if an answer is forthcoming.
Secretary of State is a good place to look if a company is either a corp or an LLC. However, if a business is a partnership or a proprietorship then it registers it's fictitious name in the county in which it does business. The state government will not have any record of such business (other than the taxing authorities).
BUT, like you I Would like NTEK to put out some REAL info about this acquisition. Hey guys, you showed us the sketch, now fill everything in.
I agree with your comments generally, BUT it might help PEII to become known for transparency by keeping the shareholders well informed. Might I suggest using NTEK as the template. It would help PEII both general & specifically to become known as a company that under promises and over delivers. As to the concern about the production numbers we are all awaiting with baited breath, a management comment on the state of the readings and if there may be a delay and the reason therefore could go a long way in helping to calm SH concerns.
The more truth management discloses, even if it's not the truth we're looking for, keeps we SH from imagining all kinds of disaster.
Just a thought. PEII UP.
It concerns me that there is so much talk about production figures being released on a "set" schedule. Based on my experience with SHELL coming up with a correct estimate always seemed to take longer than mgmt. would like and the engineers never liked to estimate. Mgmt would scream for results and engineering would respond with "as soon as we're sure". Might be that this is where we are with EPII. Few things as bad a having to revise estimates downward. Just saying.
I just listened to this interview which I think was the one promised for today.

You're right about no can find on BN, but it is on Amazon (but shows it being out of stock). However HH says that print edition is not out until Aug 6. Hmmm! Guess we'll just have to watch what happens.
The address you gave in Eldorado Hills, CA is a residence. Eldorado Hills is an unincorporated part of Eldorado County (CA). This area is about 22 miles east of Sacramento. Not necessarily a big deal. A lot of small companies start out of homes and then leave that as their contact point for tax and secretary of state purposes.
One of the expenses you may have forgotten is that it is not unusual for the lessee (the land owner) to recieve a 1/8th gross royalty. This is before any of the expense to put the well back in play or operate the pump (let alone the company overhead). This isn't bashing, just reminding people this isn't like the old Spindletop wells. Recovery wells can still be VERY profitable, expecially if you have the right volume of leases.
Let's go for PEII in the sky.
Such as 3D? Fresh or Salt Water. Shark tanks.
Hey NIKO,
I tried to
Don't know if we'll continually climb. But worth a shot. I'm in.
Todays PR and LTSH both say the same thing - This was part of the deal to have Jeff come over to NTEK. They say it is profitable AND cash flows, so unless Jeff is spending all his time sculpting we can make money and have some interesting pieces at our next party. Oh, and think how this helps to define the company when you are asked what they do - Oh, NTEK, they're in media delivery, gaming, education and ice sculpting. Say what!
Alright, already. Time to move forward NTEK.
Thanks for the response, Niko. From you means a lot.
Jim
Just a suggestion. Many posts today and over the past several months about party shareholders are going to have. Anybody else think that maybe we should consider throwing a party for the folks at NTEK. When was the last time you heard of the shareholders of a public company do that. Maybe we would be the first. It never hurts to say "Thank You". Any Interest?
Many of today's posts reminds me of my kids (many years ago) who would just start a mantra of "Daddy, Daddy, Daddy" and continue until I shut them in the car trunk, put the car in the garrage and then filled the inside of the garrage with insulation. Give all at the company a break. Let them do what they do best FOR OUR BENEFIT.
Right! We've been waiting. NTEK's been DOING. Been in since January. They keep meeting or beating their promises. Please, just let them get back to work and we can enjoy the ride and the fruits of their labor.
And 5 more in Hawaii.
Thanks for the post. Great listening. HHSE & NT*K are ready to move forward in tandum. Any of us that have both stocks are really blessed. Monday will be interesting.
Liked your post, but taken with a later post by Eagle007 I think some discussion of the capital structure is relevant.
You are correct, there are only 261 million shares free floating. But there are also just over 3 billion restricted shares issued and outstanding.
Johnnyrocker33 - Sorry to be tardy in responding. Good question re R/S. Normally an R/S is used to try to keep a stock from going into the dirt. I have enjoyed watching this happen to one of my own investments (HHW*) - a real dog. TWO R/S's took 200 shares to 2. And $450 down to $1. My DD was terrible.
However, in the specific case of NTEK it could be reasonable used to increase the value of the OSS to meet the requirements for uplisting. I am not sure of the requirements for NASDAQ or NYSE listing, but such a listing would certainly bring NTEK before a wider audience. One of the great advantages would bring greater liquidity to the shareholders - us. It could of course be used for nefarious purposes but, with management being open as to the potentiality of using the RS format to achieve a stated purpose (long before it is even possible) and considering all of the transperancy and reduction in AS and OS, I have very little concern about the use of this tactic by NTEK. BUT, if I saw that a R/S was proposed without a corresponding reduction in AS and OS I would wonder and demand answers.
I think I understand your wonderment. The problem most all of us in the real world have is that we don't think like politicos of all parties (possibly excluding Rand Paul, and I emphasize "possibly"). WE DO NOT:
1. Think that we are the smartest people in the world;
2. Think that we know what is best for you; and
3. Think that regardless of the results the "shlubs" will
forget or believe that someone else is at fault.
OR, maybe I just don't understand the difference between talking and walking and their relationship to b/s.
But I do understand the reasons to buy a ticket on the FnF trains now leaving the station. All Aboard.
Hang on bro. This is the first day of a new fiscal year (and the first day of the 3rd calendar quarter). Wouldn't expect this quarter's (which ends 9/30/13) results until sometime in November. Any thing before that yould be very unusual.
I was there. That's exactly what was said. It's the only time I've seen an R/S be taken as a sign of strength.
Just hit the ask. I know you may not get the # of shares you hoped for, but a couple of weeks ago I tried to shake the ask and it cost me 3/10 of a cent per share. I got greedy and now I have fewer shares than I might have. Sounds like your $$ are big for you right now - we've all been there. You just need to get in now and keep adding as you can. NTEK is worth a few missed meals out and a couple less latte' next week.
I have noticed some new NTEKers this weekend (I’ve been in since January) and there are probably many more that have not posted. To you newbies, there is a lot of DD material available through this site. However, it can take a long time to go through and I thought that it would help if you had a short-cut to a lot of info:
Poster Number What it discusses
Mx717 52433 Tech info on NTEK products
Schekin 52553 David Foley speaks on radio – 45 min – worth
listening to.
Nikodemos 52557 General (Niko is one of the best at providing DD & he owns over 20MM shares (from his own posts)).
Nikodemos 52566 General
Kenwanee 52571 General (also a very good source).
Recinvestor 52619 General
Nikodemos 52684 General
Bodach 53001 General (another very good source).
Bodach 53023 General
Vlftraders 53041 About 4K TVs
Lonnie Dillard 53061 General
If you take the time, you will know a lot about NTEK and will understand that most of the posters here are trying to provide info to help others. Yes, we do get bashers, but they are mostly flippers and shorters. If you intend to be en investor, then know what you own. Regardless of what happens tomorrow, this pink penny will take you for a great ride IMHO.
I do appologize for the formatting. I'm bad.
Time Sq. to Wall St. - about 5 miles.
But maybe Friday will make it seem a lot closer.
What a lovely ride this is going to be.
