New Jersey??? Get a rope!!!
We are relying on the character of men.
I agree "...that these guys are deeply confused as to handle things..." Either they know that they are going to be rich, so don't care what they sell at now. Or, they are taking what they can, without looking like an obvious scam, before it fails. I believe they really don't care about current runs, because they know what is going to happen, soon. Good or bad.
"The mass of men lead lives of quiet desperation." (Henry David Thoreau)
Scenarios
Scenario #1:
You are a board member with millions of shares. You know that your product will be revolutionary and worth billions. You want front row tickets to a ball game, so you sell a few shares at .10, because you know your other million shares will make you as rich as Bill Gates.
Scenario #2:
You are a board member with millions of shares. You may have started with good intentions, but you realize this turkey ain't going nowhere. You don't want to get bit by the SEC, so you create a lot of paperwork, and sell a few shares along the way at a price lower than the L2. It makes you look innocent, but you still walk away with millions.
The second scenario was my biggest impediment to buying stock in this company. BUT, with Regan, Ernst and the other cast from BMC, and the announcement of the Exodetect mixer, ...I don't smell a rat anymore. And, I have not uncovered anywhere that they have been selling off shares.
Has anyone found anything on the current board members that would make you suspicious of their credibility? If we get duped, then I believe they have been duped, also. Still, anything is possible. That is why it is called speculation!!
I am not a financial adviser, but I would use my spare change to invest in speculation. I would not bet the farm on it. You don't want to be hurt if you do not win. I have been to Vegas enough to learn that lesson!!!
I think that by July 4th we will have fireworks!!! Realistically, I also know that before July 4th, our fuses could get wet.
Thanks om28v. I think I will just sit on them and see what happens. When I bought in, I was going to send out a message that everybody was screwed now because I have never have made an investment that went anywhere. But I watched this one for over two years before I bought in, and I am liking what I see. I am on pins and needles until the exodetect mixer. I did not invest a whole lot of money, but if this things succeeds, it could be worth a whole lot of money. Thanks, again.
A little advice needed here.
Do any of you suggest selling on a rise and then buying more shares with the profit? Does the income tax liability outweigh any gain? What are the guidelines for this?
Or is it just better to sit on your shares and see where it goes?
I don't know much about these things, but I know that life is like a box of chocolates!
Oh, and congratulations everybody! I am glad I finally bought in and joined the EXBX family!
I lived in Houston for 30 years. I have listened to Michael Garfield for a few years. I think he may have been given some shares to be listed on EXBX TAB. I sent him an e-mail when he introduced EXBX on his show, and I interpreted his response to mean that he did not have a lot of insider information, but was being paid to "get the word out." Remember, this was during the Dillon era. I don't think Garfield can give you any insightful information... he is presented a lot of "free samples" for the purpose of advertisement. I really doubt that he can shed any light on the success of EXBX...No more than J C Watts could.
I'm ignorant, uh, new, too..
What I thunk I learnt from BeersnBull was that placing an order is like making a wish to Santa Claus. If you really want to get your present, place an order between the bid and ask. Anything else is on a wish list.
Maybe we will have Christmas in July!!
...in the real world
Thank you for your explanation of the 200 MA. I had no idea.
But, IMO, that may be a good general rule for real stocks (those with products, services, revenues)but then if anyone had a crystal ball, who would need general rules or the 200 MA. If you could predict the market, everyone could be rich! In the real world you have to manipulate the market to be rich (just kidding, I think.)
As for this stock, do you think the 200 MA even matters? There is no revenue to measure the value of the stock. We are one press release away from success or collapse.
The education I have received on this message board due to EXBX is priceless. However, I do not drink Kool-Aid. At this point, the value of this stock does not depend upon revenue, MA, or charts. The future of this stock depends on the word of a few people.
I hope the value of their word is gold!!!
Thanks, Very Understandable Explanation.
I appreciate your response, it was easy to understand and very thorough. Shucks, I wonder what else I might learnt today!!
Braden, a question from the uninformed...
You gave this advice to ag79:

NO NO NO play the run and re-enter at .06....We still have a month untill the meeting....imo
When I pull up the detailed info on EXBX from TD Amertrade I get this:
Exobox Technologies CorpOTC Bulletin Board Market:EXBX
Bid Ask
0.09 0.092
B/A Size
5000x5000
High
0.095
Low
0.09
Volume
1,239,783 (Above Avg)
When I select get quotes during closed hours I get this:
Get Quote(s)
EXBX Bid: 0.06 Ask: 0.13 Last: 0.092 ($): 0.007
Vol: 1,239,783
What is the rational for the different Bid and Ask? Can we really expect to pick up extra shares at the 0.06 Bid? I know everyone wants to see the pps rise, but it would be nice to pick up extra shares at a lower price before the product is released. Any explanation would be greatly appreciated.
"Exobox is not limiting access to the mixer."
Is someone from this message board going to attend?
Thanks for the explanation Mozy.
Help, Can We Get an IT Guy Over Here!!! DLP competition...
Important information on DLP products to follow.
DRM confused me, too!
I had to look it up, and that took awhile. DRM is not a company, it stands for Digital Rights Management. DRM is accomplished by DLP.
I am hoping Exodetect offers something new in DLP. Would someone smarter than a rock (me) review this and give a synopsis and comparison to Exodetect. It may be worthwhile for everyone to look at the attached report.
This is from Q2 2008:
http://www.chigle.com.au/documents/The_Forrester_Wave_DataLeakPrevention_Q2_2008.pdf
"Ultimately, DLP will be a must-have that is
integrated with security infrastructure"
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Forrester evaluated leading data leak prevention (DLP) vendors across approximately 74 criteria and found that Websense and Reconnex came out on top because of their strong go-to-market strategy and automated learning capabilities, respectively. Verdasys is a Leader due to balanced functionality and rich context-based analysis at the desktop. RSA Security stands out for its integrated vision and leading discovery capabilities, while Vericept rounds out the Leader class of 2008 because of its very balanced DLP coverage and strong analysis features. The Strong Performer group is led by Workshare and Orchestria, both providing tight application integration at the desktop and a user-friendly approach to DLP. Code Green Networks is easy to use, cost-effective, and an ideal fit for small and medium-size businesses (SMBs). McAfee now offers strong integration with encryption and its popular ePolicy orchestrator; Trend Micro has a strong international play featuring leading data-inuse protection. Russia-based InfoWatch is a Contender and offers a straightforward DLP solution for many organizations in Eastern Europe and the Middle East. Ultimately, DLP will be a must-have that is
integrated with security infrastructure; longer term, it will extend into information management.
Probably not significant, but curious. I had not noticed it before.
You may have to copy and paste. I don't know if I created a direct link. I'm so dumb, I never read "Computers for Dumb and Dumber."

"What do I know. I am not saying." ???????
Sounds like some manipulation going on here. Maybe J wants to shake some cheap shares loose and then flip'em for a profit. People like this cannot effect the pps, but they can scare you into selling low. J is a new poster, or could it be someone all ready on this message board playing games? With all of the DD presented here, it does not make much sense that J would know something we don't.
Or, J could be right and their will be plenty of cheap shares available in July.
I have noticed several of you say by July, this is over one way or another. I agree. You can dangle a carrot only so long before it gets rotten. I am sure EXBX is aware that many investors are tired of missed deadlines. If they don't show something by the end of June, their well will run dry. That's one reason I decided to buy a small amount of stock. It's like, put up or shut up. For EXBX, not me.
Interesting light volume. Especially when compared to the past two days.
GBRS, I hope you do well. I have been watching this for about 2 1/2 years, and just recently bought a small amount of stock to see what happens in June. There were a lot of promises and dead lines (or dead ends) in the past, But I feel more confident with the current board of directors. If they introduce a product in June, and it is successful, it will take some time for the company to become valued stock. You can ride it out, or take a profit in a spike. Who knows? But don't quit your day job just yet!!
I, like you, are in for a homerun. I know there are some flippers on this forum. They are like poker players. They will bluff you to get you to buy or sell, so they can make a flip and a profit. They do not care who you are, or what happens to EXBX,they just want your money. And I know there are others on this forum who are hard working and are gambling on a dream.
I hope dreams come true for all of you!! Just stay grounded.
Does anyone worry about short selling today? With all the volume, is it possible we could see a lot of shorting? I am not very knowledgeable on trading, but does this volume present any problems? Oh, by the way, I can no longer use the disclaimer that I do not own any of this stock. I bought a few shares to see what happens by the end of June. The recent changes in the board and the information disseminated looks favorable, IMO, for a product release. If nothing happens by the end of June, then this has been a flippers paradise. But I'm not a flipper, I'm a dreamer. That's why I am NDebt all the time.
OK, IT Moderators, what does all that mean relating to what EXBX claims? Thanks Briguy31 for the research.
I have been watching this company for a couple of years, but still do not own any stock (disclaimer). The stock was going for around 0.40 at that time. I can't tell you how many times I have read, "if they don't meet this deadline, I'm out." Funny thing though, EXBX is addictive, and they keep you hanging on. I believe, IMO, that you have some real talent and credibility in this company now. But, what about the shady beginnings, the missed deadlines, the diversion from the original promised product, the lack of updates, no participation in IT conventions, the massive insider sales, etc...
But what do I know? I heard about this company from a friend of a friend that worked at NASA when I was living in the area. Now, I have moved to the country and am just a dumb ol' redneck. I have seen a lot of posters on this forum come and go (maybe it was the same person signing on under different names). Some of you recent guys make a lot of sense. Some seem to really understand the IT side of the business, and some seem to really understand the business side of the business.
Anyway, I am learning a lot, having lots of fun, and still playing the Texas Lottery. I might set aside some of that money for the EXBX lottery. Hey, if you don't win, you are a loser either way. Just stamp a big "L" on my forehead!!
I think that there could be a temporary spike if good news came out from the company, but like others have said, a real PPS is determined by revenue. Some may be hoping for the spike to short this, and could turn a nickel into 0.40 or more. Others maybe waiting the long haul for the legitimate product, and make a fortune. What realistic scenarios are there from the history of this company? I feel like I have been recently reading posts on the board from Hunter S. Thompson.
Good luck to all!
A Great Opportunity!!
As invited by the PR, why don't one of the IT guys on here give ol' Ted a call and report back? I would call him myself, but I am such a dummy he would hang up on me. Any takers?
Can some of you business gurus explain?
Plundering Pete, you may be right. It may just be a PR for investors, because who else is going to search for Exobox news, except those all ready watching the company. So my question is, how does that PR get to the targeted sector of the market to introduce the product and spark interst? (You know, give ol' Ted a call) The way I see it, the PR will only be seen by people like the people on Ihub. But then, I don't know much about these things. Thanks for any response. Some of you guys have been contributing great information.
MoneyAg, is this the typical way PR's are released. Through PR Newswire.com or Newscom.com? I wonder if Exobox is paying with cash or stocks for the PR releases? I agree with whoever said this was a weak PR. Why not give something more specific about contacting Ted Ernst?
All that said, I find it hard to believe that Ted Ernst would associate with something that would embarrass him down the road. I think that something may be coming out real soon, big or bust. As a disclaimer, I still do not own any of this stock.
Well, at least Exobox has made some people millionaires!!
Why???
...current president and chief operating officer Kevin Regan has been named chief executive officer, effective immediately. Regan replaces Robert Dillon, who resigned as CEO and chairman of the board. Regan has also joined the company's board of directors and will serve as the company's interim chief financial officer until a replacement is named for Michael Wirtz, who also resigned as CFO. In addition, Regan retains the positions of president and chief operating officer.
"...effective immediately...until a replacement is named..."
I am business ignorant. Someone please explain to me why, if this is a structured move, would Dillon and Wirtz resign immediately without a replacement lined up.
So Regan is President, COO, CEO, COB, and CFO? Again, call me stupid, but is this a good thing?
Try this....
I don't know if it is the correct company

You prodive great research. Thanks.
I am not a businessman, so my questions may seem stupid.
Looking at the history of Forms 4 for 2008, what do the transactions indicate to you? Especially the first two trades of the year: 1,000 @ .10 and 500 @ .10.
Does the company have shares (not an individual director) that can be sold to pay salaries and expenses? Do you think the individual sales are paying for personal and company expenses?
What is the difference in "Market Sale", "Sale", and "Gift"?
Why would they collectively gift 2 million dollars worth of shares? Can they gift to anyone? If so, gift me in..
Thanks to anyone that can explain.
I don't get it.
What do you mean? Are you saying don't believe you, or did I miss something?

Don't beleive everything you read
One last thing no one mentioned...
In his last interview with Michael Garfield, Robert Dillon made the comment at the end (to the effect) "We have some developments in progress that I am not able to divulge at this time." Was this a hook or a tell? Has he done this before in the past? What does that statement mean to you? Thanks.
I am just being cautious, not bashing.
I have invested in flowers, that turned out to be stinkers, and lost my investment. As Lyndon B. Johnson said, "I would rather have him in the tent pissin outside, than outside the tent pissin in."
Although I do not own any stock, I am watching this with much interest. I remember once reading an article about an upcoming company called EchoStar, but did not invest. They have since become DishNetwork. Could have made a fortune, but did not act on it. Just as well, I later had the misfortune to go through a divorce.
I cannot imagine that Ted Ernst, JC Watts, Michael Garfield, ect, would risk their reputations on a stinker, unless this happens all the time. I do not know enough about development companies to judge this. I enjoy reading all of your posts from different perspectives, as it gives me a point of view I do not have experience with.
As you point out, we have not heard from Eagle 1 in awhile. I do not know him/her, and therefore do not hold him/her as a reliable source. But I notice that all of his/her posts emphasize look at the White Papers, PR's, Website, 10K's, and other reports from the company. I would like to read some real life due diligence and not regurgatation from the company.
Sorry about any spelling errors. I am on a fixed income and am celebrating the big dump on my retirement investments. God bless all of you, and I truly believe our economy will rebound. Stay the course.
One thing that has caused me to hesitate to invest in Exobox, has been the constant push-backs. I have been following this for about a year, and if I am not mistaken, this company was started six years ago. I don't know a lot about computers. Does anyone know if technology invented six years ago could still be relevant today? I don't want to hear about white papers. Does anyone know if it is not unusual in the computer world for a product to take over six years and still be viable? Examples. Thanks and good luck to everyone, in everything.
We are all effected with the Wall Street Mess, one way or another, unless you are CEO. Good luck briguy31, but don't go away. Keep posting. You have helpful information and opinions.

What's on L2?
BEWARE
I tried to find the article, but the link appears to be fishing for spam. You go from tradingmarkets.com, to bellwetherreport.com, and they want you to register free for articles. Then they want personal information and want to sell you newsletters. I did a search and found nothing on EXBX or Exobox Technologies. I went to marketwire.com, and the article appears to be a press release paid for by bellwetherreports.com. I also learned that marketwire.com is not a news organization. Companies pay them to distribute news releases through spam, search engines, etc. So if you see a heading with marketwire, it is just a paid for press release that is worth what it is worth. It is not from an investigative journalist.
If anyone finds anything different on Thornton80's link, let me know.
Mark A, RR, PlunderingPete...
Mark A, Robert Ross,
Thanks for the info, really good explanation. Looking at the spread on L2 really shows what is happening. I am surprised that the L2 information is available because it shows their hand. No wonder so many people are p----- off at Wall Street. They should be posting bail instead of getting a bail-out.
I still do not own any stock, but have decided to buy if the price gets right. As any prudent investor should do, I am not going to put all my eggs in one basket. Just going to buy a little to hold long term.
PlunderingPete,
Hard to trust a guy named after a pirate!!
Thanks everyone for all the information. I will continue my DD and let you know if I find anything. Good luck!!
"I am a little bit afraid of NITE showing up." Forgive my ignorance. What is NITE, and where can I find more information about it. When you and Braden say they can do a lot of damage to a stock, do you mean that they can hurt the company and prevent its success?
I doubt the stock could be manipulated to rise. As I say that, I recall that it all ready has been. But based on what? No revenue, no product, no earnings.... I guess the stock could be manipulated to go down, but for what purpose? Flippers? I don't know....
Hope to hear from someone that knows something, because I sure don't. I thought about buying in, but does not seem like a good time right now. The price may go down. The price may go up, but with no revenue, it seems it would come back down. I don't know....
I heard beta testing next month, and a product in the first or second quarter of next year. I guess we will have to wait for the replay.
In the first part of the interview, he said beta testing in October and product release in the first or second quarter of next year. I guess second quarter is something new he added. I am not sure if he changed the beta testing timeframe in the last part of the interview.
