It always has to do with dilution, because dilution affects market valuations, even in insane price swings caused by hysteria. To contend that dilution is immaterial to price potential is absurd. If your profit is greater because you are averaging down, that doesn't negate the relevance of dilution; instead, it means that in order to get that greater return you have had to BUY more shares to account for the impact of dilution on the price.
the greater the dilution, the less you make.
Believing in the "company" or the tech does not justify believing in the STOCK.
And don't forget the investment group means more dilution, and what do you bet the investment group has some of the toxic funders in it? The very same ones selling the price down to possibly raise the capital to fund the investment???
You're right, it's not debt, it's DILUTION!
A private investment for STOCK, when the potential dilutive shares shown in the 10-Q already shows that CURRENT dilution would lead to 1.6 billion shares outstanding, or 300 million more than current A/S; so how many shares do you think would be issued, with warrants, no doubt, for that $1.5??? With current debt to the funders already at $2.0 million, with a right of conversion for THOSE shares, too.
2013 - I certainly don't want to wait that long, bus
"I'm pretty sure that was quite some time ago that it would've had Level II"
The Level II was available even last week, I believe. I don't like the absence of the Level II, either.
Just FYI, both VT and MCC3.1 are available with the retailers, including Bottom Line Technologies, the gauge that Ugo seems to like referencing.
so you're saying you have sold all your shares and no longer are a shareholder of ONEV stock?
To show you how slow ONEV is, the description for Say2Play still says "coming Fall 2007"
Agreed...
Very disappointing tape these days.
Bottom Line Technologies is showing ETA for MCCv3.1 of 5/2 and 5/15, and for Voice Tunes of 5/15 and 6/8
Not sure to whom your "skeptical" and "gotcha" remarks were directed, but for me it had nothing to do with either...it was simple DD that had me asking the customer rep a question based on an observation I had made of the Inland website that differed from past observations, and she told me that they have stopped offering voice pilot to their subs. I can only tell you the facts, nothing more, nothing less. She specifically stated that they no longer offer the service, and that many subs were unhappy, but that they stopped offering it because not enough subs were using it. So, that might be something to forward to Dean so that he can address the issues with the carrier.
Oh, and I wasn't creating any "problems" for ONEV, as my call was merely inquisitive as a prospective new customer, who inquired about a feature that I knew they previously offered and showed on the website called Voice Pilot. If you think that my calling in that fashion to ask about specific features offered by them fits the bill ofcausing problems for ONEV, then you have a skewed perception of what prospective customers do when deciding whether to get a given service. Believe me, my call didn't stand out anymore from any other prospective customer calling to determine what features Inland offers to determine whether those features match the features desired by that prospective customer.
At least, I think I know the company, as the link I found is one that I have not seen previously. Veno, am I right that it is an MVNO? And that its subs are into the multi-millions?
I know the company...
I just took a look at Inland Cellular's website, and they no longer offer "Voice Pilot," which was the MV offering through them. I followed up by speaking with a rep at Inland, and she confirmed that the offering has been pulled. She indicated that there was not enough usage. That's the bad news. The good news, if there is any, is that she also stated that there are a lot of upset subscribers who are not happy that the offering was pulled. Nonetheless, MV no longer is offered through Inland.
It's ridiculous to keep saying that...everytime the bashers get lively, the retort is that "there must be news on the horizon." Well, first of all, that seldom is the case, and second of all, "on the horizon" - uhmm...I think that every long believes there is news "on the horizon."
How many shares were outstanding before and after the rise???
Which confirms what I first reported here as was stated by CW itself to me when I called a few months back.
What exactly was the question that you asked???
Not to be a downside donald, but many of those things have been things that have a short and unfulfilled lifespan, e.g., Cingular, Lucent and SBC/ATT to name a few. So, let's see something actually concrete on the revenue side before we see more future-related possibilities.
If you are saying that the Telmex wish for revenues quick will come true, that would be quite welcome
This is the part of veno's post to which I was referring:
"I believe I posted that Onev was working on
getting the bigger retailers interested in their products"
veno, you can't take credit for that DD; Dean himself talked about it on the CC and specifically mentioned Circuit City as one where he hoped Voice Tunes would be carried. Moreover, everyone here has clamored for that for a long, long time, given the Slim connection. But I do agree that we need to see Telmex finalized in a way that brings ONEV some revenues...and quick.
lol - true; I meant .0113
Roughly 2 million shares went sub .009
I do agree with veno on this score, in that for those of us who are investors who follow the SEC filings closely, it's not an update, but I suppose there are those investors who do not read the SEC filings as closely, and for them it may be an update. I'll give it to him to that extent.
More than 2 million shares is enough for me (the last of mine were around .00113; I was not whining and buying this morning. And saying that today's PR is not anything new does not constitute whining, nor does decrying the new 52-week low. Revenues are what we need. We need to stop the blood-letting.
You, as usual, are missing the point. People want to cite blindly to the statement in today's PR for the notion that ONEV is about to breakout as a company; we'll, we've been there and done that in 2005. So, I will believe it when I see it; I couldn't care less about Dean's self-promoting statements about what a tremendous year this will be. Show us the revenues, that's what we need to see.
You don't see "goals" as being a forward-looking statement on a par with those words cited in the safe-harbor provision????
From an update in 2005: “This year is a turning point for One Voice and our products in terms of putting our products in the hands of consumers. We are beginning to generate revenue and should continue to increase our revenue stream every quarter. For a small team with limited resources we have achieved great accomplishments in creating our products and technology that are in-demand. Our next step in growth will come from generating consumer awareness of our products. One Voice is a small, growing company with great potential and we ask that shareholders be patient with us, and our partners, as we grow. We are all very excited about the opportunities for our company and will continue to update you as more events occur. I would like to thank all of you for your continued support of One Voice.”

There is an expressed desire for an UPDATE, and today's PR was not an UPDATE, no matter how you try to define the word.
What a waste of a PR, IMHO.
Glad you can wait...the longer we wait, the more the money goes out the door, either through convertible debt and increased A/S, or through the exorbitant terms of the "Loan," which has rates that are simply rape of ONEV, and thus of its stockholders, including of you! Although Telmex is the "bigger picture," revenues right now from Telnor are important. What your post suggests to me is that you have been given information that says ONEV is not getting anything from Telnor in the way of payment until the national aspect and deal is in place. That would be disheartening, if true.
What do you mean, "why do we have to search for DD?" Uhmmm....that's what stock analysts do for a living, and they do it for HUGE companies. Just because ONEV is a small company doesn't mean that DD should be unnecessary.
First banner I got was Iris this time; it's def still something the company is pitching, and I don't think they keep a banner in such consistent rotation if the product is not being offered after April, given that we now are halfway through April. The only question is what is the compensation arrangement after April. The bundling seems pretty solid after April based on the current packages being offered.
If you don't think many are signing up through the website, then why did you bother to even comment on the banner rotation??? Seems to be it's just to be difficult.
As for the bundles, seems like you need to follow the path Ugo described for understanding that Iris appears to be in the new plans through the infinitum component.
