That was cool!!
5000 years? Damn you old! LOL
Good points made, by the way.
Though 500 B is not remotely possible, perhaps is is a statement based upon a level of severe frustration with this stock. That # could be a reference to the apparent high number "phanthom shares" created by naked shorting of CGFIA's stock. The MM's ;after all; do seem to have an endless supply of cheap shares! How likely is it that they are not all certifiable? Would "very likely" be a valid answer?
Shame that we didn't at least close even for the day. Have a good evening all
As always "Watching with guarded optimism".
Busy night here! Everyone practicing their positive manifestations? Last full week of trading this year. Let's see what happens.
I hear ya. Perhaps if we all collectively engage in it, we can alter reality!
Practicing the 'manifestation principal'?
Some ppl's posts always follow the same pattern . Some here are very predictable. K?
I've been kinda subdued since my main holding kinda kicked my teeth in with the last "Q". Sitting and patiently, quietly, watching and waiting. Not much else to do at this point in time. The markets will do what they will do. I'm just along for the ride. Hopefully the ride won't be so bumpy that I feel the urge to spew!
Even though CGFIA hasn't progressed PPS wise since I bought in, it is the only holding that doesn't have me wondering "What the hell was I thinking?". I may not be getting rich, but I'm not watching my account balance dwindle due to CGFIA either. Better to watch it maintain an even keel than to watch it go bye-bye!
Interesting times are definitely ahead. The unanswered question is "Will they be good times or bad times?". Even-tu-al-ly we will see! Aye?
Getting to be time for me to sack out. Have a good one everyone.
Ditto that! Especially the last part!
Recovery rate is G/CY. Not quantity of gravels processed. Correct?
Non-productive times are completely irrelevant if such is the case.
Productivity and efficiency are calculated based upon the ratio of units (in this case grams) processed per unit of something else (usually time is the basis, in this case it would be cubic yards though).
Even if the company had not provided information related to their expectations of the process for this past quarter, assumptions could easily be made based upon historical information. The recovery rate for the quarter was below expectations regaurdless if where the information that everyone based their speculation on came from.
Fox. In reference to your "Mitch and Rob don't owe us (shareholders) squat" demeanor. I culled this from an article from a Canadian mining engineer. I don't equate the nature of the article to PCFG. I did think this statement is very valid though. I would be happy to forward to article link to you if you would like.
"Good news is certainly the point of a PR, but more importantly, shareholders deserve to be able
to see what the company is doing in a timely fashion. They need assurances that the books are not being
"cooked" and that the company is working diligently for its shareholders to find something in the ground of
value to their equity. Shareholders are your partners and should be treated as such. They showed faith in
investing in your company – you must return that faith and communicate with them honestly and openly.
"
Have a good weekend.
EDIT: The red coloration - My doing, obviously.
I believe you go to the top of the page, go to "Data Tools" and click on "trades". I am having Java issues with my computer and am unable to get the info to come up.
I don't know if this is what you are looking for. Give it a try and see.
Later
Thanks for the info. Always happy to learn something new and gain a new perspective.
Have a good evening.
"Bigmoney" was born today. We have the distinction of recieving the 1st of his (currently) 3 posts. The Co. he refers to is sitting @ 0.0001 - 0.0002. Do what you will with that.
No, no Greenpeace in my library. Not a tree hugger. Still, what was stated is, at a minimum, bothersome.
Have a good one.
That curbed any enthusiasm I may have had for NUSMF! Apparently a lot of environmental issues that were not (and likely won't be) addressed.
I'm all for making a buck. Not at the expense of whole cultural communities or ecosystems though!
Did anyone besides me take notice of Guyer's level of compensation? Look at the bottom of page #60.
"The Company believes that it will be able to move operations to a more stable level during November."
The company may believe this. I personally do not!
They never should have stated a ramp-up timeline as they did perhaps? Then again, perhaps we are all fools for expecting them to meet the goals that they stated! What say you?
Thanks for your perspective.
I believe that I am correct in saying that there is a long list of people that are "feeling very disappointed right now." as you put it.
I am doing the night shift thing, so I gotta run. Time to hit the hay. Have a good day everyone.
As always, (and especially now) "Watching with guarded optimism".
I would love to send Mitch and Rob an email! The problem is that I don't know that at this point in time that I can do it with the proper discretion to be taken seriously! I am willing to accept any suggestions from anyone. Hell, PM them to me.
Communication has always been a weak point of this company. Anyone that was here from January to June this past year knows what I am talking about. If I remember correctly, even foxwoodsfan (one of the most hardcore PCFG supporters and damned knowledgeable, by the way) had a rant about going to Toronto and demanding answers!
If anyone has any suggestions as to how to speak with a silken voice but yet deliver a K.O. punch, I am all ears (or in this case, eyes).
End of rant!
Have a good morning and weekend everyone.
Though I respect you and your level of knowledge concerning PCFG, do you think it is possible that you could have stated that differently?
More like "OUCH! if you are long" Good buying opportunity if you have the funds and the belief.
5 days, not 30. 5 day extension = next Monday, max.
5 days, not 30. 5 day extension = next Monday, max.
I'm still here. Mellowed a bit since yesterday. Dry powder on the way. May pick up some more, may not.
Yes it did. And no it didn't. More bargains coming IMHO for every day that PCFG does not put out news. Shakeout of the weak and (hopefully) an MM burn coming up!
Dry powder incoming. Definitely will make use of it before the week is out. The fun has just begun. It will definitely get more interesting in PCFG land each day without news!
"It's not the kill, It is the thrill of the chase!"
Have a good one Y'all!
Thank you for your efforts. Time for the opening bell. Gotta run!
Thanks for that.
My perspective is that this investment will either be one that makes me say "OOPS, I guess I should have thought that one out a little better". Or it will be "HOLY $#!!, I can't believe how high my account balance has gone!"
Two sayings come to mind (for me) concerning CGFIA. "A fool and his money are soon parted." and "The risk takers reap the exponential rewards!"
Obviously I hope for the latter statement. Time will tell which side of the fence this falls on though.
As always, "Watching with guarded optimism."
Have a good one.
Vanguard has never given me any problem whatsoever. They execute the trades as I ask of them (if the "market" is willing of course).
Not that I don't want to believe you. What gives you the confidence to state that though? I would love to see 0.0004 (or better) as the ask! It would make my day!
Tradewell made some very good points last night concerning PCFG's management and the choice they made. No matter if you agree or disagree with what he/she presented they were salient points. The logic of them tamed my nerves just a bit. We don't have long to wait to see what the reality of it all will be.
I'm just along for the ride. It looks like it may be a bumpy week! Does everybody have their seatbelts on?
Have a good morning Y'all!
What kind of horsedung is that? The quarter ended 45 days ago!
They fired their old firm in the spring-early summer and hired a new firm that got them up to date on their filings. Has the new firm dropped the ball? Or has management dropped the ball?
I am inclined to agree with ROBO (though I often times have trouble discerning if he is speaking "tounge in cheek") that "PCFG is not ready to play with the big boys".
2.5 million shares and holding!
Good evening all.
Excerpt from the EDGAR site":
"State below in reasonable detail why Forms 10-K, 20-F, 11-K, 10-Q, 10-D, N-SAR, N-CSR, or the transition report or portion thereof, could not be filed within the prescribed time period."
Did I miss something, or was there no explanation provided? Just wondering.
You took the words right out of my mouth, or off of the tips of my fingers actually. I suppose. LOL
Welcome AK. Good place to be at the moment. Enjoy the ride!
Thank you "overandout" for this.
"it is really quite simple: if anyone chooses to make a statement in support of the fundamentals of CGFIA or opposed to CGFIA, they should be willing to provide a rationale for the statement. Nothing should be immune from such critical review - not the claim that CGFIA will be uplisted or anything else.
Forgive me for adulterating your statement. I just hope that the individual that I intended it for gets the point of it.
I work rotating 12's. Just trying to see if I can fit the shows into my schedule (don't have DVR). I would be interested to see what is presented on the shows about SFMI. Thanks.
