What is the strategy in WV? Wholesale, retail? Are the number of retail locations limited? Is it a difficult process to get a medical card?
??????
Hopefully the following won’t benefit as much as weed but Alt energy, Medical research that allows stem cells, Chinese stocks that have suffered from tarrifs, electric vehicles, agricultural exports, guns & ammunition, Just to name a few.....
My opinion is based on graduate degree in Political Science and 30 years of government work. This won’t pass at this time. It’s intended to show where support and opposition come from in advance of the election.
Obviously, but OMMU lists number of stores not number coming online. Just keeping 'em honest and nothing wrong with that!
Last Friday's OMMU Report already showed 63. Whats up with that?
There’s a restaurant located all across the planet that frequently gets poor reviews for the food and customer service. I bought shares in it back in the early 90’s and still hold them today although I can’t remember the last time I ate there. It’s been very good over the years and remains one of the worlds most recognized brands even though their products are consistently ranked low in quality. Don’t think I’ll ever sell it. My point? .....I'd be thrilled for Trulieve to become the McDonalds of Marijuana!
If you really think this stock will hit $30, $40, or $50 what difference does it make if you bought at the low of $18 or bought today at $21? The psychology of buying and selling is fascinating to me.
More sellers than buyers?! Sorry, couldn’t resist.
I sure wish weed help reduce tinnitus- that would benefit share price. Now that that’s out of the way, mine comes and goes without reason. Sometimes it’s deafening other times I can barely hear it but I think it might be related to quality of sleep.
So Pablo says Trulieve will lag behind its peers in 3rd qtr rev growth. Hmm that’s interesting- must be why the price is down today.
FUNMAN,
Thanks for your note last night. I really appreciate it. A little communication goes a long way.
Record Oz of bud!!! 26,206
......or the MORE Act and who sponsors it, it’s status and massive implications for Trulieve. Nope, stay away from that too!
Hello fellow MAXR investors. What other stocks are you all into with similar upsides? My only other holding in my fun portfolio is tcnnf. I found it and MAXR by using a screener on Yahoo and looking for extremely low pe with significantly higher price target that current price. From there I looked at the fundamentals and ended up with these two, which have been very good over the past year.
Did you say it quiets the tinnitus? Is there any research on this? I’m 62 and in my earlier years I could smoke a lot more than now. Of course it’s much more potent now. But the oil is just too much for me.
Dania location 15 cars, one mile away at Liberty, 2 cars. As usual
I’ll bet the companies that lost out on Florida were saying the same thing. This is where investing in lobbyists and understanding the politics of each state pays off.
Store #60 coming to Merritt Island soon.
If they want W V, they’re gonna have to do it through M&A after they already sunk money into it.
Is anyone aware or regular reporting of sales by the State of PA, similar to Florida’s OMMU? Or some way of tracking cultivation statistics relative to the competition in PA?
Pablo doesn’t like the timing of the share offering, but he likes the acquisitions.
Trulieve down.....4.20%
Press release came out yesterday at 4:20pm
Somethings up with that 420 number!
Another drive by report.... Liberty 1 car in parking lot, Trulieve 18 cars with a couple waiting in the street for space to park.
I think I read her correct that statement saying they have 500k of products awaiting testing and edibles are included in the 500k
...and the amount of increase over the number 2 operator is growing ever so slightly. So, its not just that Tru is dominating the State but they're expanding that domination in stores, thc, and flower. I love the very large data dump every Friday right around happy hour. This story just gets better and better.
Drove by my local Trulieve store today and the parking lot was full with employees double parking their vehicles. Then went down the road a mile and saw LHS with an empty lot. Anecdotal but a nice visual.
Kim said in the Wednesday interview that they already ran out of edibles!! I guess that 10,000 sf kitchen needs expanding.
Just curious, how difficult is it to get a medical marijuana card in Florida? How often do you need to go back to your doctor to get recertified? Costs?
The Miami-Ftl NPR affiliate, WLRN just did a short story about the launch of edibles and KR had a quick soundbite!!!
Good post RangerPete. I really appreciate your perspective.
It will be interesting to see if OMMU tracks edibles as a separate category. as long as the numbers continue to trend upward, this is a buy and hold situation. I spoke with OMMU last week in hopes of getting their weekly data in excel format and they replied that I need to submit a public records request - I'll do that soon. My intent is to track and chart the progress of Trulieve against all others in all categories.
Years ago, when I read Peter Lynch’s book I learned that if the story is good and continues to be good and you continue your due diligence, stick with it and add to your position. What this company offers that I’ve never seen before is a weekly report published by the State of Florida that details the number of new potential customers, the number of new stores, and the amount of product sold, not only for Trulieve but for all of their competitors as well. You don’t have to wait for a quarterly earnings report or read what some analyst reports. No Sir, just watch the numbers rise every Friday afternoon. That’s awesome. Now add to it your lifelong belief that weed should be legal and now you’ve got some extra cash to profit from it. So sit back, light up a joint and be patient.
Remember this slogan from the sixties “Weed will get you through times of no money better than money will get you through times of no weed!”
I’d love to see your target become reality. How about sharing the details?
Article says TCNNF hit $35 in August. I must’ve missed that day!
ommu stats out
404,780 cards
21,030 oz flower
The question is how much of the edible revenue is new and how much is converted from flower and other products? I don't see a whole new customer coming in because of edibles, so I believe edibles will take some market share from other forms.
Wasn’t commenting on that, just pointing out that she did M&A as an attorney before this job.
Kim Rivers IS an M&A attorney.
