Surely instead of hours one has to give it to the end of the week at least to see what the true effect of this PR is?
Only another 23 cents to go and I can get out even. The positive is,at long last something has been posted. I would still strongly suggest that anyone running any type of enterprise would want to answer to the best of their ability each and every question that has been raised that could have negative connotations. I would still like to see an independent third party truly evaluate these patents. I have an opinion and others have an opposite opinion but they are just that as has been pointed out opinions and none of them carry any weight. Thought I would also respectfully suggest that if we are all true investors here that we would have the same goal and that is to not loose money so I fail to understand why if one has positive information especially information that can be validated it is not shared to help keep the price from spiralling.
My burning question of the morning is who actually see this "news" release. How is it used, promoted? Is there any practical demonstration capability?
Would some others please take a look at Southbank and it's previous incarnation Novus and please tell me that even putting the website issue to one side that what I am seeing is not true and that the company does actually have some assets and money? Unfortunately or fortunately for some that's my three posts for the day!
Bought in at .29 believing this was the big ticket item. Hope, being advised from someone I trusted who had purchased and as Sun has suggested maybe even greed clouding logical judgement. Even I wished I had got out at .34. Seemed that the rise would not end and all the hype was true. Oh how things have changed.
I totally understand your scepticism. I am for whatever reason limited in my postings and I am sure the board moderators would back that up. In terms of my due diligence I have turned to people in my immediate circle and without paying for their input and advise I have no written report to share. They have not run an in depth analysis, they have not run software programmes nor did they try to build a working platform. They looked at the patent group and from their knowledge offered opinions that suggested that they have no practical use in the market. Limited impact, already superseded, other solutions are available. This is my word of course agains others who even now say for example they have 40 years experience and come April Fools Day we will be glad we hold this stock. All I can say is the price of the stock the lack of any interest or talk about these patents would suggest that my DD is nearer the truth. The bigger question of course is and remains to completely bring an end to all speculation and personal opinion why have VPLM not employed an independent third party to analyze and validate the patents in a complete report? Surely with their limited funds this would have made the most sense even from just a marketing point of view. Something you would expect from even the most basic business. The fact that they have not for me once again backs up the analytical eyes of my friends and that VPLM know damn well these patents like millions of others are minor at best have limited application quality sand will fundamentally just gather dust.
I am sorry as I do not pay to be a member I only have the right to post three times a day.
Why did I not ask my friends prior to buying into the VPLM mist? A very good question and I so wish I had asked them. The answer would lay around psyche I would expect. They are people I connect with reguarly in my every day life on a social basis and quite honestly their profession meant little to me at the time.Software architect, as far as I was concerned was just a step away from being a developer for Donkey Kong.
I did approach a friend of a relative who is a retired CEO of a world renown company. Why did I choose him? Less emotional attachment perhaps and my logic dictated that as a highly successful businessman he would be able to offer an unemotional and pragmatic view of VPLM. I did not consider the actual technical and practical application of the patents. His words were "I offer caution, but you may just have something here." Which in turn validated the ongoing rise in the stock price at the time and my own best due diligence.
As the price dropped and "facts" no longer seemed so black and white I lamented my purchase with one of my "friends" over lunch. She asked why had I not approached her and my other friend for advise. The penny dropped that VPLM patents would be within her field of work so I directed her to the patent suite. I also made a call to my other friend who works for a rival player and furnished them with the same information and details. They were only to happy to do a little research especially with the bonus of being able to buy in if all checked out.
Now my words become mere conjecture as I am a layman and they my friends are not on this board talking for themselves or explaining the language of their findings. All I can say and repeat is that they both after examination could see or find no practical use for any of the patents. They both categorically stated they would not spend one single penny of their own money on VPLM stock.
That in truth is the best I can offer you. I, to this day do not understand the technical babel I was exposed to nor can I translate that here but I assure you in simple English which I do understand they were categoric that there was no practical use for these patents within current framework or anticipated communication framework.
No arguing black and white. I apologize as my comments referenced just the last couple of months, when of course one should take in the big picture.
You have reached this conclusion how? Let me say again I have friends who are software architects and work for the main players in this industry, they have looked at the patents and not invested one single cent. What from all you have read and seen makes you think this could possibly be worth a punt?
Consider those that purchased anything above the current price. Two options, you sell absorb the loss and walk away, which would probably be the smartest thing to do, or you still accepting the loss write them off totally and let them sit there for ever and a day. The trouble is we are human and whilst everything points toward a total loss we can't help but hope for some miracle and that we will at least somehow, hope against hope, break even, therefore we leave them sat there and don't sell. It's illogical but it's certainly not because we know that this is the foundational patent portfolio of the century and we are suddenly going to become millionaires.Nothing but nothing would seem to be further from the truth based on the last few months.
I have been specific on many occasions and don't need to repeat myself. I have lost several thousand by investing in this stock. I have never before been conned or so stupid in my life but there is always a first time.I have turned around failing businesses. I have friends, software architects for the large players who have examined these patents and who determine there is no value to them whatsoever. To validate that statement they have not purchased one single cent of VPLM stock after researching the patents. In all my life I have never ever seen a supposed business enterprise run in such a shabby and shambolic manner and lead by someone who advised no less than four Presidents? No surprise then that the rest of the world looks at The States and shakes it's head if this is they type of company that a supposed Presidential advisor puts his name to....
Thank you for your continued hardwork and diligence. As I have said before I accept I have lost my money, having learned a valuable lesson in the process around Pinks and penny stocks. The next best thing will be seeing those that have orchestrated this being outed at the least and even better truly facing the harsh reality of justice.
Hi Sun, are there any public records available that show they have been served with the Wells?
And of course actually sending out infringement letters and following up on them because they knew they actually had what they claimed to have
Think you will be waiting a very, very long time
Someone sold, price tanked and someone purchased meaning price went back to a little what it was under in the morning. Exciting and riveting action indeed.
Dropped two cents almost as soon as this was posted. Wonder where it will be at the end of the week? Rebounded back to .08?
Richard Inza, Global Security Agency? Same Richard Inza?
Someone buying and selling their own shares maybe? What would possibly make anyone new want to buy in now?
I appreciate your tone and take your words of being patient in a sincere way. I absolutely know that playing with stock is a gamble and there are no guarantees. I was very naive and did not do my homework on Pink Sheet stocks. I was unaware how poorlly regulated these stocks were and how it seems to be a playground for those looking for easy marks. Buying/investing in something genuine and seeing it fail is one thing but the more research I do, the more I read, hear and see I am failing to see where this stock ever had the legs to carry it over the hurdles. Made all the worse when I ask some very respectable business people in varying fields from investment specialists to high level software architects to take a look and give me their bottom line opinion and they are failing to see any positives or applications for the patents and would not invest a dime of their money. I am also stunned that the only contact a "genuine" company would have with anyone is if you can track or chase someone down in Florida and ask questions, again I say any genuine and regular company would be constantly posting, marketing and keeping in touch with investors and potential investors alike. That does not mean they have to give information on any supposed discussion with potential buyers imagined or otherwise but they could certainly answer at least ten very good strong solid question bought up on this MB alone in the last few months. Why would they not? Are they really that arrogant? Take it or leave it, believe it or don't, we just don't care, or as some would suggest and appears more and more to be the case, they just don't have the answers?
Easy!! VPLM have not kept their word and completed on anything they stated they would. 100 million shares issued with no control. Alleged qualifications that at best come from a diploma mill. LI being used worldwide without a care in the world and absolutely no mention of VPLM and their patents. It would also appear that other companies have patents and prior art that pre date VPLM and are relevant to the systems being used. Not one single letter sent out as a warning of infringement. No external third paty evaluation of the patents. Complete and utter silence from VPLM on anything and everything. Have seen two thirds the value of the stock washed away from where I purchased. Not one provable comment made by a positive poster (positive posters very few and far between) regard this stock. Positive posters always say we know but we are not going to tell you anything. Happy to post how great VPLM is but never ever back it up with anything other than with, well Inza answers my calls and answers every question. I have tried his number three times. If Inza is happy to share then why not on their website and message boards and promote the company and it's value, that's what most legitimate companies do. There was a time it was suggested you can get any info you want so long as you sign a secrecy document!! VPLM are not marketing themselves or even appearing at the most important trade shows relevant to this stock. Just a few red flags, could think of a few more but think you get the picture. I got in excited and full of hope, my heart soon sank when I showed this to colleagues, business partners and friends all of whom said, " I am sorry but has all the classic signs of a pump and dump, looks like you have lost your money." Nothing but nothing has been written, said or otherwise to prove them wrong.
Think you will find that any action has begun and long ago ended unless you somehow know something that apparently no one else does. Care to share?
I am sorry I almost chocked in my cornflakes. Quantum leaps? Either the funniest or most bizarre thing I have read in ages unless of course you have some supporting evidence?
Perhaps we could start bidding. Maybe just maybe there is a story or angle to get the price lifted one more time? Then I could try and make some cash back. I start the bidding with what is it for a business with no assets a $1.00?
I was stupid. Never usually gamble on anything. I back it, falls at the first, should have know better. A friend of mine convinced that this was the one, I did what research I could and seemed that maybe just maybe this could be the one worth betting on. Was going up daily, news of blackouts, imminent deals, beating MS to the punch, well you know, you have heard it all, I get in at .29 edges up to .34, telling the wife got it right this time and then down she goes. Then comes the harsh light and just seems like nothing whatsoever stacks up. Credentials, patents, deals, news, well again you know. Enough of my woes.
Wanna buy some solid stock from me? You know company with some real strong figures at the helm, advised presidents apparently. Well they have these patents that are gonna change the world.....
My answer would be...
1. When people like me realize there truly is no hope and try and recover at least a third of their investment.
2. When others realize there is absolutely no more hope and nothing to be said, announced or pumped that could make this stock worth a single penny more. Then as my number 1 they will want to sell ASAP to get the most they can from it. As soon as the floodgates open what will be left?
Not being as eloquent as yourself I put simply there are only two alternatives.
1. They could announce and or suggest that there is indeed interest in the portfolio and talks are ongoing, with an anticipated end date of....
2. As you intimate there really is nothing more to say as they have realized there is no value and absolutely no more that they could possibly announce that would lift the price.
Thank you for your intelligent and thoughtful reply
I am betting that not one of these applications uses anything remotely similar to VPLM's patent. That the patent is redundant, useless and no better than toilet paper, packed away in the bowels of the patent office. That's why there are no letters, no interest, no reports and no word from the BOD. LI is a serious business and you are telling me that no one, absolutely no one has said to the press, a reporter, a stock guru, communications CEO,s, "OMG look this minnow company has the goodies." You don't think that would have leaked somewhere? If it had, guessing the stock would be a lot higher than 8-9 cents. Instead a continuous silence and some take silence as good news, yet businesses start to grow and or diversify into this field offering their LI systems. Doesn't this tell us all something?
How have you arrived at that opinion?
With all due respect how and when has anyone valued these patents to be worth anything?
Then please post all the useful information you gleaned
If that is the case, why won't one person who says they have done their DD and have knowledge and evidence of VPLM being in talks post any substantiated proof? Why are the BOD sooooo quiet?
I apologize that it did not make sense. I was suggesting how fantastic it would be that if Mr Inza answered my two calls and if I had been able to pose the questions and then post his replies on this MB. Unfortunately I have not been able to get him to respond. Apparently and allegedly others have but seemingly do not wish to share what has been shared publicly. Hope that clarifies any bad grammar on my part?

Wonder if they know about VPLM?
Can't see too many positives from that report
My point entirely!! Microsoft file some 250 yes 250 patents a month and we, investors in VPLM want to believe in just seven.
How many patents are filed every day? How many patents did Edison file? How many of Edison's patents actually realized commercial value? How many patents do Microsoft apply for every month? How many have real application value? How many sit on shelves never to see the light of day again? VPLM have been awarded seven, nothing but an atom in the universe....
Is it simply because the patents don't actually stack up in the commercial world? I can think of no other reason why if they truly were foundational that they would not already be sold and many of you who have been long and purchased very low prices would not be swimming in champagne.
Sorry for such terrible grammar in previous post. Stupid IPhone.I must proof read before I hit send next time .
