It's a-4pm-waiting game now. People are not sure
how the conference call will go. trade volume is a little light.

LQMT must put revenue on the table-today Or-Else
If they do not put some real numbers on the table today or state near term revenue to be booked then I believe this will not play well and the decline will continue... They need to stop just talking about Futures and the next quarter and start talking about sales... Either manufacturers, after all this time, are interested in this technology and real applicability or not!
Looking at the T&S and L2 there seems to be some concern.

I thought it was tomorow unles changed
Thank you, I sincerely hope that this CC
focuses on real contracts ready for signature and is ready to report actual revenue forecasts for the next several quarters....
I got out days before the Apple i5 conference and have bought back in just under .09 I'm not holding a lot.
I agree Jim
The answer may be as simple as ...
The technology may not be required for what most manufactures demand in performance. Supply chain pricing of current materials are fine and LQMT may not add value (cost performance) for manufactures to change. To exotic, this may be the type of technology for 1-off or special performance projects not required for the majority of manufacturing applications.
When you think about it the word is out, the manufacturing world knows about this technology and with every new step they are many obstacles to overcome. I think they will get there but when.
Manufacturing ability means less compared to profitability
So my question to you is why are manufactures not buying this product?
Jim is right we want to see success
And as far as I remember they have the balance of this next fiscal year before they close the doors.
Sandy, rumors and innuendos, well.
Yes they can't say anything about Apple, common knowledge. And talking about new executives, New production modes, and BIG SUPRISE Apple announcements... really won't help.
They have got to put something real on the table like money from customers. Remember they are operating at a loss! And their performance from last fiscal years is a bit worse
L2 is ok - some fair upward push
.97 to .10 currently
Key market analysts position LQMT as sell BUT
Comments about shipping more prototypes are not working, rumors about Apple using LQMT have vanished and would be hard to believe at this point... selling product, revenue is what matters now.
They have project an image that this is occurring.
I truly believe that if this company can say with confidence and honesty that they have real business on the immediate future then everyone here who hold shares no matter what losses they've experienced will come out ok.
This Question must be asked at the CC
"From the 2 years of shipped prototypes to customers can you say today Tom that there is substantial revenue to be booked on the near future?" , "What quarter in fiscal 2013 can we expect this to happen?"
The CC key focus is revenue generation.
I doubt Apple has any immediate plans to use LQMT in upcoming products. That being said, what is key is actual BOOKED or future revenue to be booked. If that does not happen at the CC I'm sure LQMT will drop to what I thought the bottom would be back 2 months ago @ or around .05 - maybe less if confidence completely erodes after the CC.
It's important for Steipp and crew to get this message! if anyone on the CC gets the chance to ask a question, please ask the following:
"From the 2 years of shipped prototypes to customers can you say today Tom that there is substantial revenue to be booked on the near future?" , "What quarter in fiscal 2013 can we expect this to happen?"

Bro's and Sisters... I hope everyone has a great T-day and holiday.
Stay Cool.
It's easy to say, Oh it's going up someday! But it hasn't. It's done pretty much what a majority of people on this board have said it would do... And have been trying to say to others, as a curiosity, be careful stock don't move for long on rumors.
I don't see it at .13 or .135 or .14 or 145. or .15 or .20 or .30 or like someone said big day today, Do you.
Rumor push is fading, the less traders there are (typically in the Holiday season) small price buys can really skew the stock price especially on Pennies because number of traders buying and selling. That's really why it's called a "Pump and Dump" market. ... Simply when you don't have millions of traders like the big boards, NYSE etc, the odds of a stock reflecting true value diminishes.
What if you bought at .16? expecting it to go to .20 and above. There were some big trades at .16.
It is the holiday season but this company was heading several months before that... What real revenue do you see?
Buying on rumors is never a good move and this stock at 6 million only trades at 350 to 400 times on a day like that. Not a lot of people buying and selling this stock on average.
L2 Looks ill.... lots of downward pressure Blocks at 20K 50K at .12 and below

Creditable, The Facts are, i5s/LQMT is rumor based, They, LM, are still pulling dollars from their funding to operate, and what puts a company in play (not just on hopes) is Booked Revenue, reported profits, just like Apple does all the time. And I don't see that yet,

AppleInsider... Rumor: Apple to introduce next-gen iPhone, iPad in mid-2013 By AppleInsider Staff
A new report from DigiTimes claims that Apple's supply chain expects the company to introduce its next-generation iPhone and iPad "around the middle of 2013."
However, the information is not the focal point of Monday's story. Instead, it is focused on the fact that Apple's suppliers are expected to have strong results in the first quarter of 2013 as Apple sees strong orders for its products.
DigiTimes has a hit-or-miss track record with respect to Apple rumors. Given that Monday's report didn't have enough confidence to focus on the rumored release date, we have placed it on the AppleInsider backpage in the interest of discussion.

Bet on a rumor, why? didn't run to .20 like a lot of people said it would... in fact it is having trouble getting back to .15... Did you see the huge trades this morning at the top end. looks like a short term pump taking advantage of the typical rumor mill garbage started by a Chinese news article.
New i5 not released until October 2013... The UK article said NOTHING about Apple's intention to use LQMT...
And I Quote: "So how about Apple using a LiquidMetal alloy for the back casing as this would be very strong indeed and could be molded into a shape that could bring us in to the world of futuristic instead of the normal block it already is."
Interesting... If LQMT can pump to 0.20 it could run... This happened back in October ran from about .14 to over .17 then continued down.
Good L2 bid to ask ratio... Good volume... But what happens after the steam runs out of the rumor? If it gets to .20 do you take the money and run? Not everyone out is a long term player...yes/no?
Yes, Tom has said that... Apple can do what they want with it and they do not owe LQMT anything if they do use LM.
Buy on the rumor, sell on the new.
I understand this is a low point for the stock. You can't get too hurt even if it drops to .05 which is where I think it may end up or there about. For me, a gambler, track, casino and the stock market I like it when the odds are in my favor. I think below .10 is a good play.
The best feeling in the world is anticipating a Jewel like LQMT becoming the center of the universe... That's how I felt as the media spun stories around the iPhone5 and Liquidmetal.
I kept thinking how high LQMT would it go, 5 dollars, more. ... And how lucky I was to find this company and what I was going to spend the money on. I kept multiplying the possibilities out on my calculator. you can't beat that feeling.
When a thing of such powerful anticipation fails, doesn't happen, the hardcore values of "loss" crashes down reminding us that money and business is a game best played with caution and clarity.
LQMT may hold at 11,12 or not, but In the stock market one must think always about the fundamental business reasons of the "why" and "what" that makes a stock attractive. And the only thing I know of, from a business perspective, is Revenue.
If they, LMQT, does not mess things up to bad (not a great track record so far) then LM will have its day in the sun. But from a revenue perspective, today is not that day.
understood, I'm worried that people are going to get hurt by the article in the Chinese newspaper Commercial Times. this happened before and we all know the result of that
5S no such thing yet, 5 only
iPhone 5S is the likely candidate for that kind of a change and like other S models we won't see that for a good year, year and a half.
A responsible company like Apple does not do that kind of thing to its buyer. And I doubt they would offer any kind of exchange or upgrade 6 months later... Be careful because if the rumor is squashed it could tear down the stock quickly.
