I'm gone. Like a steam locomotive rolling down the track, I'm gone, gone, and nothing's going to bring me back. I'm gone. 06/29/2023

For me, the fact that inBev chose to use a female impersonator to promote their "beer" is a non-issue. Because their beer is skunk pi$$, I don't drink it. So a boycott is a mute point to me.
BREAKING Intel Exiting the Server Business Selling to MiTAC
In line with Intel’s continued efforts to prioritize investments in its IDM 2.0 strategy, we have made the difficult decision to exit our Data Center Solutions Group (DSG). As part of this plan, MiTAC, an edge-to-cloud IT solutions provider and longstanding ODM partner of DSG, will have the right to manufacture and sell products based on our designs. We are focused on ensuring the DSG team and its stakeholders are supported during this transition. (Source: Intel Spokesperson to STH)

Frankly, I loved dining and entertaining with my Japanese hosts/clients. But then, I'm a real sushi head!
Another thing, once you have gotten near the point of drinking all the alcohol you dare consume, NEVER totally empty the glass. Else it will be immediately refilled and you will be expected to drink it! I learned this lesson the morning after my first night out on my first trip to Japan when I could barely crawl out of bed! (The Japanese seem to really love their Scotch and so do I.)
As for golf, My skills mirror yours. I was told I have negligible depth perception and could never find my golfball. I won a trophy in a junior tourney for losing the most golfballs in a 9 hold tourney - 36! For biz golf outings, I volunteer to drive the beer cart!
Hey, where might I buy a good quality chopmark with ink?
This is what I REALLY enjoyed doing business with Japanese businessmen. If you got the handshake you board the plane knowing it was a done deal only requiring the lawyers to document the details.
And when you heard "Very difficult" you know the answer is "no". But getting to "yes" and the handshake takes a lot of time and patience, almost always worth the effort.
Wave Systems is a non-entity and will remain a non-entity. They have nothing.
Scaling is being able to produce the quantity of devices the customers want at the specifications they expect at the price negotiated. It is really quite simple. Or not.
When I worked in engineering, I also preferred the Staedler quadrille pads. The gold standard! Plus they had punched holes to put them in binders.
Now retired, I rely on Moleskine® pocket journals with square ruled pages (smaller than quadrille because the page is much smaller (3.5 x 5.5 inches). I always have one nearby or in my pocket or backpack. They have tough but flexible covers and the last 16 pages are removable in case you need to pass a note. I find them very handy being an old timer. 3 journals to a package!

When I served on Titan II crews we often took a UH-1H from base to missile site. This was toward the end of the Vietnam war and all the pilots were war jockeys trying to get their flight hours in stateside. To a man (they were all men back then) they flew a hot stick and the trip to the site was almost always a TRIP.
Only one incident when the Huey lost power and we had to autorotate down on a field. No injuries but we all had to check our skivvies.
As he is not real, you could try to reach him at Never Never Land. But I understand communications can be sketchy there.
Thanks.
I am facing some tests that measure blood flow in my legs. Future may require stents or aortic bypass, who knows? I'm trying to stop smoking. I would be a fool not to encourage you to do the same.
At the risk of drawing the ire of the Swingline crowd, I agree with everything you said re: the new MLB rules. Hell, I even hated the AL designated hitter bullcrap!
But, in an era where a shortstop can claim he's a catcher because that's how he identifies himself today, I imagine they will be wrapping themselves in bubble wrap to reduce injuries soon.
I had a friend who owned an expensive boat many years ago. He called it "his hole that he poured money into".
He eventually sold it.
A minor fix needed that I just noticed. The announcement for happy hour stated 4pm-5pm EST. I'm guessing this should be changed to EDT.
Hope you have a Happy Easter or Passover or holiday break.
Is zab at the Tennessee House of Reps. today protesting?
No one ever went broke by taking a profit.
No, not every company. But this one does.
Besides overstating tool and die experience, what else in my post was erroneous?
It is still far from an amazing CV.
POOF®!
Not to put too fine a point on it but it is 34 counts, according to reports.
I'd give it a don't-touch-it with-someone-else's-10-foot-pole rating.
