If the ship goes down, I am pulling the "t" out of Ucantfoolme!!! Just kidding. I really expect good news this week, but then again, I believe in the leprechaun with a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow!!!
I think Kampa and company are making their move at RSA. If we have good news coming out of the conference, we may have some shakers and movers. I am still all in, and not giving up hope. IMO, even though I am a stupid redneck, news from this week's conference will be the do or die... It has been too long without news, we have received no updates on sales, and no announcements on funding. So, the final play, IMO, will be in the news after the conference...
I hope we hear great news soon. Regarding the SEC, I would be interested to read what they say.
Personally, I don't think that they care about IHUB, unless an insider is posting deliberate false information, in order to mislead investors and effect the stock price. It seems to me that nothing has been posted here that would cause the stock to be grossly valued or under-valued.
Anybody following this stock knows that it is a speculative stock, with no financial/revenue basis for valuation. Right now, it is all hope and prayer.
Don't misread this, I am still all-in, and hope we receive good news from Mr. Kampa soon. IMO, jerks can post what they want...it has always been "Buyer Beware!"
WOW! Somebody has too much time on their hands.
Honestly, IMO, nobody knows nothing. Not even Kampa.
I've never met anyone that can really tell the future.
Quit predicting. Follow the money. There is more truth in the money than someone's guess.
I am so stupid, even the janitor and the mailman won't talk to me. Ya'll let me know if you see some money moving. (And I am not talking about that creepy GEICO money with the big eyeballs!)
That's it! Thank you very much. I will save it to favorites this time.
L2 Link
Somebody recently posted an excellent link to check L2 and other details. Thank you for that post, but I can't find it now. Would you mind re-posting that link? Thanks.
If this ever went to $54 dollars per share, I would by you a nice present. If it went to 40 cents per share, I would send you a nice card on your birthday.
I don't know what's going on, but I hope we hear some news soon. Let's get it going or write it off...
Right on QAsharp!
"...same pseudo intellectual garbage over and over and over ad infinitum.
I hear enough of that from my liberal brother-in-law about politics and religion.
One can either ride it out for awhile and see what Kampa does, or sell tomorrow morning and quit worrying about it. None of us can change anything, unless you got $15 million you want to invest. But then again, if you had $15 million to invest, you would not be here worrying about a penny stock!!!
On the other hand. I'll have to admit half the fun is speculating and worrying. We all got a gambling problem. Anybody got that 1-800 number?
Remember the good old days...
When we compared Exobox to Symantec at $19.00 a share?
That would make me happy!!!
Life would be so much easier if this thing would just get off the ground! I don't know anything about nothing, but I am in to see this sputtering rocket take off! Right now, it walks like a duck, and it quacks like a duck, but I am waiting to see if Kampa is a Swan! Just hoping that he is not PT Barnum! I did not attend any of the meetings, but hope your enthusiasm is contagious and fruitful. I guess the next PR will be that funding has been accomplished, or we are closing the doors again. Still, the promising sign right now is that insiders are not dumping shares and taking cash. Something must be in the works, because nobody but flippers are making any money. I do not see any insiders getting rich while robbing the common stockholders. That means something to me, but what do I know?
I would appreciate any insight on stock volume and movement. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Full disclosure: I hold my original share purchase, and did not sell off during D-Day. I guess that I am a hopeless romantic.
Here's the rub, Captain Puff
"...beginning on January 31, 2010...payable in cash or the Company’s common stock as set forth in Section 6."
What do ya'll think?
I M Bandit, I don't understand???
Is this a negative prediction? Are you suggesting that there is no way that they can raise the capital to complete the business model? I am here on a hope and a prayer, and you are scaring me and spoiling my Christmas!!
Ucantfoolme, good questions (timelines and funding) from I M Bandit for your conference:
I don't know about you, but I think this is promising:
"These investor groups see the upside potential of our company and SecureTM with the inherent existing potential of our SaaS-based products, ExoDetect and ExoWatch."
MozyRama, didn't you say that there was real potential for these products? They are not patents pending, secret prototypes, or products in beta testing. They are real!
I know that we have been burnt before, but I got a good feeling. We have two existing products, investor interest, and I have not seen any share dumping. The company has scaled down and appears not to be spending needlessly. I think we will see something positive after two more quarterly filings.
I'm drinking egg-nog, not kool-aid!!!
What's stoked? I heard it somewhere before...
If this is new information, then I am stoked!
I forgot to say Thank You.
I did not lose all of my money because of the Oil/Gas deal. Or as we like to say, OG: Original Gangster. Now turn this thing around and make us some money!!!
Who cares what I think? I am no businessman, and I do not know anyone involved with Exobox. But here's my 2 cents.
A friend told me about Exobox a couple of years ago. It was trading around .40 at the time. I watched it and did some DD, but was kind of skeptical. Exobox claimed to have this magical AV locked away somewhere. I looked into the management team, and wondered, why were these guys running the operation... and why there were no major investors involved with this miracle software?
When Ted Ernst and the BMC gang got involved, my ears perked up. When they announced the two products, and the review of the products at the mixer, I bought in. It was strictly greed, someone said this would go to $80 (LOL). But seriously, I thought there was potential for this to go to the dollars.
Outrageous spending by the company and the constant dumping of shares by insiders soon ran this company out of money. I found it worrisome that there were still no major investors involved. They announced the cessation of operations, but for some unknown reason, I did not sell (stupidity, besides, it was worthless).
Then there was the announcement of the oil/gas deal with some unknown private company. I thought uh-oh, scam number 2. But on the other hand, if they were only 3-4 months away from generating revenue to self sustain, maybe this was just the boost needed to get them going again.
So, in all my ignorance, I am not giving up. If the Exo products can benefit companies in protecting their intellectual properties, then, yes, I think this company could make some money. With all of the fat cut out of the budget, and, hopefully, the cessation of insider dumping, maybe they can rehydrate the company. It was ridiculous the way they were throwing around money without any revenue coming in to the company. Maybe this was the thing the company needed. Shut down and start over like a sensible company. Act your age...don't act like a success until you are one!! There is room for suspicion, but something also tells me there is plenty of room for the products to take off and the company to succeed (maybe a miracle for Christmas).
Regarding the AV, I still don't know. But I would like to see Ted Ernst come back and finish the Exo line of products. I am not worried about the 10-Q being late. A lot is going on right now, and they need to report the proper information. If we do not see a 10-Q, then I will be worried. If I understood some of you correctly, not reporting equals de-listing.
If I am right about this company, then we will have some good news coming out soon. If I am wrong, we will just see more dumping of shares, probably by the oil and gas guys (if that has not already occurred). I have a gut feeling that I am going to be shocked with good news by the end of the year (or it could be the turkey left out overnight that I ate today). You can make fun of me for hoping wiseguys, I know I am just a dumb ol' redneck and don't know anything about business!
My final comment...the only dumping of shares I was aware of was from the original directors. I never saw any insider sales from Ernst and the BMC gang. Maybe they knew it was real, but were thwarted by a bad business plan.
Again, I don't know anything, I'm just a dumb ol' redneck. But I do believe in Santa Claus!
Send me your warm beer and leftover turkey!!!! YeeeeHaaaaw
I welcome any comments or corrections.
Thanks Kurupt915 for your kindness.
One more question...
If I understand the current situation correctly, EXBX is currently listed as EXBXE because of not filing a 10Q timely. Why is someone trying to promote EXBXE as a Exobox Energy... a new company. Do we have a pumper trying to steal money from more people?
Are You Saying Unethical or Criminal?
Some of you are suggesting unethical or criminal behavior on the part of this company. Are there any believers left? Would this company constitute such an obvious fraud (as some suggest) with the risk of being prosecuted? Or, are they trying to salvage this company by any means available?
I watched the development of this company for a year before investing, and have not sold any shares to date. Yes, I have been skeptical at times, and could sell now for a 50% loss. But I hold out (maybe foolishly) in hope that something will develop.
I have no experience in penny land. Maybe this is the way snake-oil salesmen have been operating for years. Maybe this is the way charters buy low and sell high to make a profit regardless of whether the company is legitimate. Maybe this was a good idea, but a bad investment. Maybe someone really believes in the concept of this business plan and is working hard to bring it to fruition.
I have to admit, if the AV solution is a "save the world" product, then why not are investors lining up? But the other products leading to the solution appear to be legitimate, so maybe we need a better business plan.
Some have all ready realized profits off this venture. Whether they be insiders or traders. You can't blame the traders (no more than you can fault poker players), but the insiders will pay in hell if this was not legitimate.
All due respect to the different idealism...
I perceive different interpretations, motivations, opinions, and predictions from identifiable sets of posters. Derive your own opinion from their posts. But most of all, do your own DD. Mine is pretty clear to me, but against my best judgment, I still hold all on my shares acquired before D-Day.
Some are looking to flip short, some are long, some believe in the original concept, some believe in the new company. Some claim to have information about funding deals, some seem to know about future funding, and some seem to know about false funding or funding failures.
Is there anybody out there with knowledge, who follows start-ups, see this O/G deal as a way to perpetuate stock fraud and put money in pockets of directors, with no intention of creating a legitimate company. Or, is this a legitimate business plan that other companies have followed to create the financing in order to support the company.
I don't even know what a shell corporation is, but when you start with shell, do you end with a shell?
I am not trying to rain upon anyone's parade, but would like some honest answers.
Excuse me everyone,
but I think I might be on the wrong website. Isn't this FullTiltPoker.com?
I thought I was putting my ante in a Texas Hold'em game, but I think I may have bought some EXBX stock instead.
Oh well, same difference... Let's see the flop, and I will stay to the river!
Exobox has released two products: Exodetect and ExoWatch. They advertise Exodetect as "Data Leak Detection and Protection". Is it not a true DLP software? I think that they might be talking about protecting data assets, not protecting against leaks??? Your insight will be appreciated.

Exobox Releases ExoDetect SaaS Data Leak Detection and Protection Software
New security and compliance software solution makes company data more secure
HOUSTON, TEXAS (JUNE 30, 2009) – Exobox today announced that the company’s highly anticipated SaaS (Software-As-A-Service) data leak detection software product, ExoDetect, is now commercially available.
While many organizations invest heavily to protect their enterprise, significant data leakage still occurs, at an estimated cost of $1 million per incident. ExoDetect is designed to identify and recover valuable information and intellectual property that has already escaped beyond the corporate walls and into “the wild” – or places on the Internet where data is accessible by the public.
“Exobox is excited to make ExoDetect available via subscription, to companies that want to safeguard their most valuable data assets and regain control over their reputations,” said Ted Ernst, CTO of Exobox. “No other product mitigates risk associated with governance and compliance breeches and closes the gaps that allow sensitive data to escape and become a liability to an organization to the extent that ExoDetect does. We worked hard to develop a product that would give corporations assurance that their private discussions, plans, and strategies were protected, and after a comprehensive research and development process, we have achieved that goal.”

Exobox Releases ExoWatch Data Leak Security Software for Web-Based Sites
Exobox’s second security software offering scans corporate websites, open portals and microsites for unauthorized release of information
HOUSTON, texas (AUGUST 27, 2009) – Exobox Technologies Corp. (OTCBB: EXBX), an information risk management and security solutions provider, today launched ExoWatch, a revolutionary SaaS (Software-As-A-Service) data leak detection software product that – for the first time – consistently monitors information posted on corporate, education and government-owned websites, open portals and microsites.
ExoWatch is designed to regularly monitor a client’s Web-based public and private sites to detect and then send alerts about posted data that was not intentionally released.
Exobox is now the first-to-market with a data leak detection product that reaches beyond the IT enterprise and protects corporations, educational institutions and government agencies with a powerful tool that monitors their own Web-based sites.
“We are very happy to introduce another exciting, much needed product to the marketplace immediately after the successful market launch of ExoDetect, our SaaS data leak detection and protection software,” Regan said.
I know that sometimes you have been criticized for your opinions as being negative. But when you're right, you are right. I totally agree with you regarding Copeland, Dillon, Wirtz. I was hoping Regan would be different, as I have never seen a form 4 from him. I have questions about this O/G deal, but it is still better than locking the doors and folding the house.
You are right. Directors and day traders have made a fortune on the back of this company. Protect yourself and your investment. I hope that all the longs make some money or at least recoup their investment. It would be great if this turns into a revenue generating company, but what happens when the O/G's start dumping their shares like the old gang did? Time will tell.
You are right, too, Uncle Rumpy, DD this thing and get what you can.
Can you clarify if you know this firsthand, or is it "In My Opinion?" Please don't take this as an insult, I am just wondering. I know that you have been very insightful with your information in the past, and I look forward to reading what many of you have to say. I am still skeptical about this whole deal, but I do agree that their will be a whole lot of share dumping by the O/G's. I hope it does not run the company into the ground, AGAIN!!
One other thing, can you make the big rise in the pps hold through the end of the year. I think I would rather take the tax hit on capital gains in 2010 instead of this year. But on the other hand, we may be paying more taxes in 2010, so I should probably make a profit this year. However, I ain't too smart, and if my gains don't exceed my losses, then I don't have anything to worry about anyway!! :)
"Beleaguered Tech Company Exobox To Acquire Ohio Production To Boost Cash Flow
Article By Steve Toon
Published Oct 14, 2009
Software company Exobox Technologies Corp., Houston, (OTCBB: EXBX) plans to acquire 15 producing oil and gas wells in the Clinton and Marcellus shale region in Ohio from an undisclosed private company for $13.25 million.
The company says it intends to use the cash flow and net worth from the oil and gas assets to further develop the company's software products and technologies. On Oct. 1, Exobox announced that it is curtailing operations including laying off substantially all of its employees, and pursuing strategies to realize value for its shareholders and creditors.
“Upon the closing of the transaction, this will enable Exobox to continue its operations as originally planned. It should provide us critical mass and bring substantial asset value to the company,” says Exobox CEO Kevin Regan.
The acquisition price includes the debt assumption of no more than $3 million, as well as the issuing to the seller of a combination of convertible notes, convertible preferred stock and common stock that on a fully-converted basis would not exceed 9.9% of the total shares outstanding of the company.
Exobox develops home user and server security software products."
The article above is just a different version of the press release.
http://www.oilandgasinvestor.com/Headlines/2009/WebOctober/item46882.php
What a coincidence!!?? The EXBX PR mentions an un-named private oil and gas company, so I doubt there is a relationship. It is strange that it was released on the same date. Does anyone recognize any of the names in the article? I hope no one gets hood-winked with them race cars and jet fuel, although, I really don't know what any of that meant.
Anyway, this is interesting reading:
http://www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/newfield-exploration-joins-with-hess-corporation-in-marcellus-shale-play-64204082.html
Even I could understand that. Thanks. But I still view a pretext as pointed out by the wise ol' AskMrOwl. Let's see how many employees they bring back onboard, and how many shares get dumped in the near future when the deal is done. Hoping for the best, but still kicking myself! GLTA
We need opinions from those with business experience and those with penny stock experience.
In the business world, what does the "non-binding letter" translate into a real deal. Where is a broke company getting the money to make a $13.25M purchase and assume $3M debt? What can you infer from the use of "convertible notes...stock...not to exceed 9.9%..."? Explain it so a dumb redneck can understand.
"The non-binding letter of intent contemplates a purchase price of approximately $13.25 million which includes the assumption of existing debt in an amount not to exceed $3 million, as well as the issuance to the seller of a combination of convertible notes, convertible preferred stock and common stock that on a fully-converted basis would not exceed 9.9% of the total shares outstanding of the Company."
In the penny stock world, how many times has this sort of announcement been made in order to keep pulling the fishes in? Is someone making a move to keep the momentum going in the buying/selling of dead stock, or is this a legitimate move to fund a potentially successful company?
Trust me, I am not bashing. I have not sold a share since I jumped in. I was depressed when they announced that they laid everyone off and were exploring options to cease operations. I am a skeptic now, but still a stock holder. I kick myself in the groin everyday when I could have waited and bought a brazillian shares at 005 cents. Any effort to help me understand this latest move would be greatly appreciated.
The idea espoused by some that insider sales were being used to shore-up company expenses, or meet the payroll, were debunked by the company when questioned about former management insider sales. The company stated that they have no control over those sales, that those sales were for private use by the former management stockholders.
After being slapped in the face, or hit over the head with a lead pipe, I still cannot understand how Ernst, Regan and the rest of thecurrent team got involved with Dillon/Copeland/Wirtz. I based my investment on the new team and the released products. What went wrong? As far as I can tell, none of the new team profited from this venture.
Call me a loser, or whatever, I held out for over a year before investing. You can check my thoughts about insider sales for yourself, I'm too drunk to probe any further.
AskMrOwl, thank you for being forthright. Unless someone takes this venture under their wing, takes it home and nurtures it back, all is lost. Otherwise, the Dillon/Copeland/Wirtz gang are all laughing the way to the bank. If they try to reorganize under a new shell, the common stock holders are still left holding the empty bag. Despite all of the DD, if it is too good to be true, then it must not be true.
There have been some good contributions in the posts, but there have been misleading and unconscionable posts also. AskMrOwl and others are appreciated for their material reality, and their obvious concern for EXBX investors. It is admirable to educate and advise; however, it is deplorable to manipulate, deceive and ridicule. It ain't dead yet, but it is flopping around like a perch on dry land.
What do you say, Eagle1 ?
I might have agreed with Jon666 about this being a bad investment IF Copeland/Wirtz were still in control and they were still pushing their magical AV. But when Ernst came aboard, and they released Exodetect, I thought this was a great opportunity to invest. I never saw any indication that the new management team was inside selling. With their connections with BMC, I saw great potential for their success.
Sucks being wrong.
implemented - vt... To accomplish, fulfill. To provide for the accomplishment or carrying into effect.
Funk and Wagnalls
Copeland/Wirtz strike again!
I keep hearing this song in my head, "I Believe in Miracles!"
AskMrOwl, is there anyway this could turn around, or is it toast?
(Like I needed another excuse to get drunk tonight!!!)
Looks like I've got another tax write-off. Look at the wording:
"...sale of core and non-core assets, employee lay-offs, and/or cessation of operations."
They will sell-off and lay-off AND cease operations,
OR just cease operations.
The only ray of hope is: "...it will explore.." They did not say that they were actually in the process of liquidating. But hey, I bet I know where you can get some good deals on slightly used office furniture.
It's hard to be humorous, this makes me sick to my stomach.
Slojab, regarding the Exobox team, I tried, it didn't work. We still have faith in Theodore “Ted” R. Ernst, Chief Technology Officer. Know what I mean?
I would like to post some research, but don't want to violate any rules. Can any of the moderators or assistants advise me? Thanks.

RE: harveydawabbitt
"past performance of this stock zillions of form 4's"
Agreed, but maybe due to start-up costs. This is a R&D company and a speculative stock.
"a sales team that has to solicit the help of the shareholders while management siphons off what value is left of this stock.
a sales team that apparently hasnt done its job in regards to finding potential customers. unless this is yet another secret the company doesnt want to share with its shareholders.
many many many unanswered e-mails to the company."
IMO, they did not solicit help, but that was a "form" reply. With their vast sales history, I am sure they have plenty of contacts. I would not release sales information until it was finalized. In regards to e-mail, I could not even get their e-mail address to work, and had to go through Tim Lee. But, I know it worked for those RSVPing for the mixer.
"not one of the listed alliances that exobox listed were able to say to me one way or another a simple yes or no whether they knew of exobox or not.
failed freedom of information request to homeland security"
I, too, tried contacting some of the affiliates, but received no response or cannot respond. Confidentiality is not uncommon. However, there were good comments from the mixer.
"absolutely no info from the lobbyist stephen waskiewicz who is or was with j.c. watts companies and to whom exobox paid 60,000 dollars to apparently for nothing.(which by the way is our money they spent and no one but me is trying to hold them accountable for wasting 60k of our investment with no good reason.or they got refunded this money and held back telling us shareholders."
Agreed. No response on the return of investment. But, did it open any doors? I don't know because they will not say. They might have spent the money for name dropping, or it could have a huge windfall. Who knows?
"the fact that this company was and continues to be naked short sold at least up to the first quarter of this year.
this is an illegal practice that STEALS THE VALUE OF OUR INVESTMENTS."
I really don't know anything about nss, but is not this a practice of the MM and not the company?
I definitely am not a cheerleader. I watched this company for two years before investing any money. I am as much concerned as anyone else about the current situation. I think that the exec management will create a profitable business. My only concern is if the past exec management created a situation that they will have to reorganize before becoming a major market. IE: funding is questionable through the end of June, 2009.
Keeping the faith, but watching the news. GTLA
The potential is still there, IMO. If the old regime was still in place, I would agree with you. The first product was just introduced, and you cannot expect it to turn around overnight. But, hey, cream or crap, it is my money. Would you be looking over my shoulder telling me how to play blackjack in Vegas? Who said you are "right." The game ain't over yet.
