All I can say is that I will just wait and see if your positivity and spin can push it up so as that I can break even. Not holding my breath
Just like any lawsuit is a waste of time where you are being accused of sec fraud? The lawyers obviously feel there is a point. And for gods sake I could make up any bullshit I like and post it on social media and get "connections." Have you not seen these pitch men for selling the dream? How to make millions using other people's money. They make up Wikipedia postings, Facebook and LinkedIn pages, get friends and family to like along with their latest marks. Sometimes the only way you can tell is seeing the date that the page was posted. Then just as quickly all the pages will dissapear. Let's take Candy, has anyone actually managed to send him an email, connect with him or been able to chat with him via phone? Has he answered anyone's concerns? Anyone confirmed his previous employment record directly with the companies? If he is who he "appears" to be then how or why would he be involved with VPLM? And if his stellar background were to mean something about the VPLM patents why is he not shouting it from the rooftops and being proud to list his involvement.
Nothing to say about our Maltese Sawyer then either eh?
DD that you just cannot find unless you are in the know and have bought the BOD lunch. Beggars belief how being sued for fraud is a good thing.
Exactly!! MSN offered $30M? Where did that one come from. There is no link so has to be a, " I know somebody" comment. They are being taken to court with allegations of fraud and it's a no they are not its the wrong way round and this is a good thing?
So how much longer would you like to give it Deer? And a sportsmans wager?
Only this board could possibly turn the news of a lawsuit against VPLM as fantastic news and that it is all coming together
The joke is that these answers are not available. What sort of shambolic run business is this? Invest in us based on blind faith and we will communicate nothing, ever? That's the joke. Look where blind faith is going, down the pan along with the share price. What do you guys need to actually see the writing on the wall? Or do you have inside information the rest of us are not privy to? What a crock of ....
Would concur with these questions and should be the bare minimum that are answered and available for all to read and digest....
I would believe the naked twister scenario if they had an office to play it in but alas not.
You seriously believe there is a written offer?
There is no one to sell them to either is there?
Been saying all of this and more for many months. Doesn't seem the loyal longs have anything to say in support anymore which really is the death....
I highly doubt it as nothing whatsoever to suggest there will be....
Not sure that anyone cares anymore
Info?? Why would they want to keep anyone in the loop or updated?
How do you explain Googles patents and on what basis Google needs VPLM's?
Call it greed, naiveity, hope, but were not most people really taken in around that time and betting on returns of a $ plus per share? For a short period of time it appeared it all stacked up that maybe all VPLM'ers were going to get rich. So logic and reason for most goes out the window. Cold light of day buy at .7 sell at .34 would be incredible, but when hoping for it to reach a $? When it starts to slide still time to bail but still a lot of belief in the hype and it will come back mentality. Just say for dreams sake that we went back up to .29, then .30 logic would of course say sell, break even but would you not hope that this might be it the big return and hold on? Starts to slide and who wants to sell into a loss? Except of course the odds of it ever hitting .29 again are highly unlikely in the same realm as the odds of being hit by lightning. What I am saying is would appear most were suckered in and purchased the story the dream not the opportunity to day trade.
So patent trolls or not, we have had it confirmed of late that Mr Inza has declared that individually structured letters of infringement have been delivered. How long is the process of letter received until company defends in Marshall Texas? Three months, six months a year?
No idea how many times some of us have to say this, because I bought in at such a high price, have written the money off. Doesn't stop me hoping for a miracle. Some of us cannot believe the faith shown on such flimsy evidence and on such a poorly run business. Touché I would say...
One has to say, it is on one hand great to see that someone did indeed receive a personal reply from Mr Inza. On the other there is no getting away from the fact that the replies are weak and evasive. Are they really what one would expect or hope for from the IR guy? Beer is correct in that one would need to ask some very specific yes/no questions to pin this lot down. Why I ask yet again would you not address all investors reguarly and keep them updated with clear, concise information. Why would you choose to answer a few and when you do be so vague? This response clears nothing up whatsoever other than Mr Inza does occasionally reply to some and raises yet more questions.
That implies to me that a Wells notice is a possibility and could be a reason for the "quiet time." It does not say he believes it is a fact or that he feels they received one. I however believe it is a strong possibility. You telling us that Mr Inza told you that they had not received one does not in my mind constitute proof that the have not.
I for one agreed there could possibly be a Wells notice. I for one think it is possible not one single letter went out that suggested infringement. I for one think that any activity at the Patent office had no relevance to direct input from or by anyone connected with VPLM. I for one think that no appearance at any trade show speaks volumes. I for one think that unkempt websites are relevant and shows very poor business acumen and speaks very badly of VPLM. I for one think that connections with Southpark another seeming grace of a company is relevant and speaks very badly of VPLM, should I go on?
Digiphony-Southpark, but Sir Mr Richard Inza for the man with the cleanest, most stellar reputation who is working so damn hard to sell patents and keep everyone updated on all his activities?
What on earth would you do that for?
My question is what money are they investing? What work are they doing? I see no hard evidence of either?
All irrelevant? The offices, Southpark, what they have said they would do, websites, worthless resumes and bios, no communication, uncared for website, no marketing, no shows at expos, etc, etc. All this is irrelevant? The only thing that matters is that they own some patents which have never been independently examined or verified? That's the long and short of it? You have a part claim to some paper with drawings on that the owner never discusses or let's you know anything about other than once in a while hints the drawing should be worth a fortune and he is trying to work on a deal to sell? Oh!! And all that stuff he said when you first spent money on the drawing and all his ideas at the time? Irrelevant!! Struggling to get hold if him anymore? Irrelevant!! Keep the faith.....
What companies are they in talks with? How can you say they are talks with any company? How would you know this?
Really? How are they doing that exactly?
Have to use one of my three available posts today, especially as it has been so quiet on this board today. Totally agreed. It is about time we had some clear, transparent, verifiable information
The no news is good news premise? We have absolutely no idea what we hope is still a company is doing and that is good? These patents should not be top secret so surely there should be a balance between fluff and stone cold silence? When you are publically trading should there not be some accountability to the investor? Should you not clearly, quickly and efficiently clear up any concern with clear concise answers that is transparent and available to all investors? Is it not that simple? Why should we be in a position of almost being private investigators?
Some of the best, most helpful, diligent and on the face of it honest attempts at helping like minded people and investors. A huge round of applause and genuine appreciation on my part. I am however prepared to make myself look stupid but not ungrateful for your efforts.
1. The FT links and reference to the battle that commences between the likes of Microsoft and Google over patents today in the courts. In what way does this bear any relevance what so ever to the VPLM suite?
2. I have looked at, read and re read the diligence from the UPSTO site. I am struggling to see why some of you are so excited. I am sorry. I see no fundamental change? Am I really that stupid?
Lmao, miaow!! I am not the only one asking you for the direct link to the fantastic information you have found. Looked at this site many times, found some time to look again today and still not finding what you are so excited about. You went so far with your help, which is trust me genuinely appreciated, and yet just short of that one more exciting all revealing link! Frustrating...
Voip-Pal.com, Inc. had revenues of $63 billion in 2012, experiencing double-digit year-over-year growth. As the number of VoIP subscribers reaches 410 million by 2015, the company will be experiencing even higher revenues. In order to continue growing and face the challenges the company will face in the future, it has appointed Dr. Thomas E. Sawyer as Chairman of the Board and CEO effective immediately. - See more at: http://sip-trunking.tmcnet.com/topics/enterprise-voip/articles/349869-dr-thomas-e-sawyer-appointed-chairman-the-board.htm#sthash.15Cqemep.dpuf
Would seem a great shame that the above hasn't worked out our Mr Sawyer eh?
Very much appreciated. I have of course looked at this site, have found the same page errors as others and find some of the information out of date and at times confusing as to whether contention is ongoing or old. I will look further but as am on a very tight schedule presently would you be good enough just to note your interpretation please....
To be very clear. My wish is that this stock climbs above .29 so I can at lest break even. The harsh truth is that I see no DD, comments, links or otherwise that gives any hope to this stock. The more one digs the more of a farce the whole thing seems to be. Smoke and mirrors at best. I can hope, I can dream, I can trawl this MB looking, hoping for a lead an edge I have missed. I can push and dig at people's surmations to see if they can really be opened up and explored and try and find some kind of truth. Even that with any proper company one should never dream of being in that position, etc, etc. You said the stock was on its way down? While I would not be shocked, it seems to be holding at mid eights?
Is that impossible? I can't actually find them on public record. Can you?
It is about the only thing on Sawyer you will find and the most bizarre piece of literature when it stands on it's own you are ever likely to see. I not even sure if the "man" exists let alone he is who this resume claims he is.
As good as explanation as any. I for one would not be sorry
Don't worry it's because they are working very hard in the background making this all happen and don't have time for any trivialities
I accept you struggle with this concept but it is quite simple and is basic human psychology. Those that feel mugged, scammed, will become vengeful and angry. They will NOT sit back and watch utter crap be spouted potentially pulling in other victims. Only a real schmuk who has been heavily bitten who can find absolutely nothing that continues to stack up from their continued DD would then go on to think I know, I will post positive but unsubstantiated rubbish on MB's about VPLM hoping to push the price up to cover ones own losses.
I believed the hype. DD at the time made it all look plausible. Bought in at .29 and have lost $1000.00's. They operate from a virtual office. Employed a company called Southbank who no one can prove the existence of to monetize the patents and yep absolutely nothing happened. They keep you informed of nothing. When they do they change their minds and do something else. The patents are allegedly foundational but outside of VPLM fluff you will find no talk or mention of them. Most people think they are outdated at best and with no third party evaluation on them they would appear to be worthless bits of paper likely to fall to dust in the bowels of the patent office. The BOD some would call sterling, others aledge or intimate that qualifications were purchased not earned and that worse some of them have had less than stellar pasts. Do your homework very, very carefully and if you find anything you think gives this patents any value then there is a whole MB of people here who would kill to see your evidence.
