Beamin what do you figure the profit is on the ceramic piece? How many you think they sell through 2014?
Who are these naysayers you speak of? It sounds like a more potent and pure option to me. The process of getting high takes a little time. A dab is instant from what i've read. Good for medicinal users.
Good ti nail goes for $100. VAPE's gonna make it rain no rain dance necessary, i just feel like dancin.
From the same thread as the link below.
As far as a few freebies to give out for testing, I'm still waiting for an update. The official word is it depends on how many they receive in advance of the actual retail shipment they're waiting for. Honestly, things are moving so fast that we might not get a chance to test before these go out to the general pubic. I did my best to make it happen here first. We'll see. I don't think they expected to receive a few samples of the standard nail so fast, and of course as soon as they showed up, they've been seshing and testing all over LA. What I do know is everyone that's tried it says it's a game changer.

Seems to be a great and ground breaking product.
Great DD beamin, thank you.

IMO, BY THE END OF 2014 MCIG REVENUE WILL BE STAGNATE AND UNIMPRESSIVE.
IF THEY PLAN ON SELLING THE STUFF THAT GOES INSIDE THE VAPE IT'S A WHOLE NOTHER STORY... DO YOU READ WITH YOUR EYES OPEN?
Also the pps increase could draw institutional investors.
With the pps increase i would think it'd be easier to get a better financing deal. PHOT seemed to get stiffed in the deal with the GIFT program. Around 3.5 cents a share i think.
Good question
This move was a little jarring to me at first. I was hoping for a 2-1 the other way. But, ultimately i believe they have a business plan with huge profit potential, like what i've read about kyle tracey, and agree with you that the market cap for a company in this space is very reasonable. We are only seeing a small part of the picture that is vapeholdings company. I'm betting on the picture becoming more complete and the mkt cap growing significantly as it does.

That's what I am thinking too. 40-1 split and they are a holding company. They want the pps much higher so that institutional investors can participate. Besides gwph i think they would be the only mj play in that price range.
Good luck with that. I'm sure you will accumulate a lot of nothing in that price range.
As for PHOT releasing pumper PR's, put the pipe down. They may trace back down but that is normal profit taking after a huge run up at the end of the year from .3 to .15.
Also, remember the companies in these industries, MJ and ecig, are in their early stage if you believe in the trends.
Just look at MCIGS revenue. They are just getting started and their business plan is already limiting revenue potential.
VAPE has a much larger planned product line, that will have a much better price to cost ratio than the MCIG therefore giving them the opportunity for MUCH greater revenue. IMO
VAPE appears to have a business plan of of selling quality products in two rapidly growing but fragmented industries, MJ and ecigs. The lions share of which is dominated by poor quality products that couldn't pass a regulations test without falling apart.
VAPE is not well known but after the name change and some PR's about their business plan and funding that will not be the case. Get in where ya fit in! After the ticker change this could follow suit of MCIG after their name change and go up 500% in two days. Who knows where it could run to, MJ and ecigs, these are exciting new industries.

For anybody looking in from a mobile phone this is VAPE's website.
If you look at the historical prices of mcig you will see that they did a R/M and then made the announcement of the ticker change and that they would be getting involved in the e-cig/MJ industries. The stock rose slightly before the announcement and took off afterwards. There are many people that want to ivest in these industries and not many investors that know about PLPE.
There are very few PUBLIC companies involved with e-cigs. They will make acquisitions of quality private companies and have sales soon. They will have their own line available in early 2014. Check out the website.

Thanks CT. It seems to me that very few people know about this stock. You can look at the other ecig and MJ plays and see how excited people are about these two industries. It makes sense that a lot of people want to invest in these growing industries, and very few people know about PLPE.
Already priced in my ass. The name change to VAPE, great ticker, plus a decent pr, sends this to a 100 mill mkt cap.
Name change plus news they closed on the facility pending sends it to 300 mill mkt cap.
This company has the potential to be more profitable then ANY other MJ or ecig play by eoy 2014 depending on how fast their business plans come to fruition.
Agreed
This is not senseless dilution. They are talking about funding a million dollar grow op. That's big time revenue.
1.3 mill to support a gift program transaction
A million dollar grow op. Wowsa. Give us some of that revenue please.
It is full of some very good information. The hydroponics market possibly doubling next year; this doubles phot's current revenue theoretically. As they continue to grow they will have better leveraging and get more shareholder friendly financing. The 30 store goal. The end of 2014 goal is for 12 stores near doubling the # of stores phot currently owns. If we keep pace we will be close to the 30 store goal end of 2015.
OfficerK, you are the man.
Did you see the projected 2014 revenue is 15 million. I think I saw a few of your posts quoting this # for 2015 but I believe the 15 million estimate is for 2014 revenue and not for revenue after the 12 store expansion. Could be misremembering, either way...
GO PHOT
Fair enough Sir. I look forward to hearing what you have to say as I'm sure many people following this board do.
Apparently this is the last post I get today and I wanted to give props to you as well officerk. I agree with you on many points and appreciate your posts.
I'm not arguing that the research firm is credible or that they did a good job. I value your opinion and research and believe if you say they had the wrong share count in their valuations then they probably did.
However, I disagree strongly that a 12-18 month price target of .23 is aggresive.
"In a recent press release, the company announced plans to build out up to 30 new brick and mortar retail locations with an initial build-out goal of 12 stores and $15 million in annual retail sales in FY2014. Extrapolating these revenue run rates per store, the eventual goal of 30 retail locations could be expected to generate some $37.5 million in annual revenues."

The hydroponics market is growing rapidly, these revenue projections could continue to increase.
Plus the opportunity for new business developments leading to new revenue: The GIFT program, cannabis.org, the growth of fusionpharm, plus many others I can't fathom. If I remember correctly Sterling Scott mentioned some new business developments in your interview with him but thought the time was not ripe to make them public. Also the company has mentioned multiple times that they are not against getting into the cultivation side if there are some legal changes made and that they could do so quickly. Legal changes IMO is a matter of time. That would be excellent high margin revenue.
It is for the above reasons that I feel that a 12-18 month price target of .23 is reasonable; regardless of the credibility of the grassroots research firm and the quality of their work.
I have gathered from your various articles and posts that you like the management team and the company. What in your opinion is a fair 12-18 month price target?
Grassroots .23 price target is supposed to be achieved in 12-18 months.
"Due to beneficial market factors detailed in the update, Grassroots has at its sole discretion, chosen to increase its 12-18 month price target to .23 per share"

I believe that it is not so much that people really liked the grassroots report that caused the stock to surge recently. I think it is a combination of two things. Anticipation of Q3 results and increased investor awareness. Investor awareness in both that the pot movement is real and happening and that PHOT looks to be one of the best available plays right now.
