IT IS ALL ABOUT TIME
As I have said over and over again, this investment is about time. You have to understand the nature of the transaction, the industry and your investment.
Back in August, many here were screaming for immediate information from the company, the price was .02. When no substantial information was forthcomming, many began bashing the Company and probably ran off alot of investors that missed the 500% + run up we now enjoy. A $10,000 investment is now worth $65,000. For those that listened, you did them no favor.
This is a high risk / high reward investment. It is a investment not for the faint of heart. If you invest, you need to understand the risk and bet what you can afford to lose, (not your rent money). AND if you invest, you need to do the DD that will allow you to understand the time table for this to play out.
We have news and updates from the Company, we have a strong market segment (minerals) that supports the company strategy, we have an experienced managment team in place, and the result is maybe a perfect opportunity for those that have stumbled on this play. (Your here for a reason, an opportunity, maybe a gift)
Time is the x-factor. IMHO, the JV announcement is just the beginning. The real money is seen over time. That said, develop an exit strategy that allows you to play with the house money for the big payoff. (That, in part, is what we may have seen the last two days of trading, Investors taking a little of their winnings off the table).
Understand, that those that expect anything before the 14th, and voice their displeasure by posting unsubstantiated rumors and lies about management have alterior motives. (How do you bash a Company that just ran from .06 to .13 in a week). If you are invested, long or short, you probably already have a decent return on their investment.
If you have the time, playing with money earmarked for this type of investment, take the ride, do your due diligence, plan your strategy, and pray for the best. Time is the most important element in wealth building and patience is the tool you have to have to succeed.
If your in, Your In.
You are correct, two different companies. I thought they were related prior to the split but not the case. Thanks for the catch.
I believe the company split off the Argentine property into one and the development property in Chile into another, I could be wrong.
Exeter Resource Corp. (Public, AMEX:XRA) is the Chilean portion the other Argentine.

Gold Mining in Chile
By Leia Michele Toovey- Exclusive to Gold Investing News
Chile is known first as a copper producer, and is less famous than nearby Peru when it comes to gold. Gold mining in Chile dates back to the end of the sixteenth century, when a series of rich alluvial deposits produced an estimated 1 metric tonne to 2 metric tonnes of gold annually. By the end of this period the Spaniards had been evicted from their mines and towns by the Mapuche Indians and gold production declined markedly.
When the second period of gold mining activity began in 1740, gold was extracted from veins. Gold mining was encouraged by the establishment of a royal mint at Santiago in 1749, and it peaked at more than 3 metric tonnes around 1810. A decline in mining came as a result of the war for independence from Spain that occurred from 1819-1823. The nineteenth century was a time of political turmoil, and as a result miners left Chile to explore in more politically stable countries.
In the 1930’s, when the political climate stabilized, considerable gold was once again being mined as a by-product of copper and silver. This third cycle of production was accelerated with the rise in gold prices. This period, however, was not a time of new discoveries. In fact, hardly any new deposits were explored; instead many of the old hard-rock mines were reactivated using modern technology. Production peaked at 11.5 metric tonnes in 1939 before declining to 2 metric tonnes in 1960. This level was maintained until the liberation of the gold price in 1971 ushered in the fourth, most spectacular and ongoing surge in production.
The momentum of the present gold rush has been enhanced through the discovery of a series of sub-volcanic, mainly epithermal, gold deposits mostly located at elevations of more than 4,000 m in the Andean Cordillera. In addition to these epithermal deposits, Chile also holds significant gold reserves in porphyry deposits. The epithermal gold deposits in Chile were formed during the Cretaceous through the Cenozoic, as a result of a non-collisional ocean-continent convergent plate margin. The crustal stresses resulting from the plate margin created long, sinuous north-northeast trending magmatic belts that roughly parallel the Pacific coast. These belts’ mineralization varies in a north-south direction, as a result of the timing of magmatism along the plate margin.
Although porphyry type deposits are as common as epithermal type deposits, the quality of mineralization in these deposits are sporadic. That is why it is common that gold mined from porphyry deposits is as a byproduct of copper and molybdenum.
Valuable gold vein deposits have been discovered in the coastal zone of northern Chile. These veins are a result of a relatively recent (during the last 15 million years) enrichment event, which involved the movement of chlorine brine near the earth’s surface. This brine added additional surficial gold enrichment.
Local mines
The most prominent of Chile’s gold projects is Barrick Gold Corp.’s (TSE: ABX) Pascua-Lama project. Pascua-Lama is currently the largest of Chilean gold projects with proven and probable reserves of 17.8 million ounces of gold and 671 million ounces of silver. The project is under development, and according to Barrick’s website, should be in operation by 2013. The mine has an estimated life of more than 25 years, and approximate operating cash costs of $20 to $50 per ounce, which if realized would make Pascua-Lama one of the lowest cost gold mines in the world.
Exeter Resource Corp. (TSE: XRC) is an exploration stage company working in Chile on the Caspiche Project, located in the Maricunga Belt between Barrick and Kinross Gold’s Cerro Casale gold-copper deposit. The estimated size of the Caspiche resource ranks it as one of the gold industry’s largest discoveries in recent years.
State-owned Codelco, the world’s largest producer of copper, also produces gold from its operations in Chile. Codelco has an exploration agreement with Barrick to search for new gold and copper deposits.
Here is A Good Comparable
For those that do not believe, take the time to look at this comparable stock. Extorre Gold Mines Limted - Trades on the TSX under XRC / Amex XRA. www.extorre.com
The company has no active production, Chilean projects, a market cap of $625 million (100 miilion fully deluted shares outstanding), is in later stage of drilling and feasability studies, the stock has traded from $1.3 to 7.34 in 2010 - Currently at $6.73.
If you apply these ratios to MDMN you get a share price based on a 50% interest in the mountain and 674 million shares outstanding of $.45 per share. That is without any NSS adjustment as the shares move up.
This is not intended to recommend anyone buying either of these stocks but for comparable purpose only. We will need additional drilling information to determine if we have the goods. But the investment is not out of the relm of possibility and a $.45 share price before production and NSS adjustment is very possible.
Additionally, take a look at the following web page http://goldinvestingnews.com/world-class-gold-deposits
Again this to assist interest parties in their DD and not a recommendation on my part.
If Your In, Your In
If Your In, Your In
As we finish this year at a nice SP everyone should understand that this is just the relative calm before the storm. The next three weeks are going to make even those with decent size positions wishing that they had believed back in October.
With our market cap sitting at 107 million and with a potention asset worth a billion or more we have alot or room to go. Time is the variable. From JV to drilling to production appears to be planned for a quick pace which will reduce the swings we are going to see over the next six months. I do not believe we will see the retractions of any significant amount from now until post JV sdjusted SP.
The strategy to buy and hold till production is the winning strategy IMHO. Even leaving out the NSS possibilities, this can still deliver a 500% to 1000% return in the next twelve months.
Happy New Years and Here is to a Great 2011
IF your IN, Your IN
The Company Owns A Mountian
The facts are;
The Company has no employees.
The Company has no operations outside the development of its core asset. (the mountain)
Management is not required to manage anything but the process to maximize the value of the core asset.
Management skills required are as a hardnose negotiator and lawyer with knowledge of the industry and the laws in the country where the asset resides.
The Company funds its operations from borrowing from insiders to fund the process and repays these cost by issuance of shares that may or may not be worth anything unless a JV is completed.
IMHO, I believe we have the right asset, the right managemnt, at the right point in time.
How many shares do you think they hold.
You keep inferring that there are a number of people that are pumping the price to sell out before some unknown bad news. How many shares do you think these people hold?
We have traded 5 million shares today, and have had good volume for a week. So how many shares are these individuals unloading? Your past post suggest there is no shorting on the shares so these have to be actual shareholders. What is the number, 50 million, 100 million shares.
There is no way, these people who claim "the hard date" have this kind of exposure on a personal level on a penny stock. This would have to be institutional, if anything. But that goes against your no short theory. Or the flippers. At sometime they have to run out of shares or buy back in for that large .001 gain on the flip.
Fine then Sell
This deal get done, when it gets done. If the November Q&A from management is correct, factual, truthful, THEN it would make sense that in 120 days they could conclude any remaining due diligence, international money and tax issues and complete the deal.
If tax issues are a consideration, it is not unreasonable for the deal to close after the end of the year. The tax on the millions for the purchased rights would be over 35% of the amount received for the US entity. Any cash required by the partners to fund the drilling program in 2011, if not capitalized under a two year program, would be deductable in the year paid. So if it is 12-15-10 or 1-8-11. I take the 1-8-11 date to put deferred tax millions to work during the interium.
Thats just me. So all of you that keep bitching that you are being treated unfair, sell. But I am telling you that deals of any real size take this long, even with more safisticated Companies. Go back and read the story on the Condesco JV in my post in August. 8 - 12 months start to finish is within a reasonable time frame. So beleive it or not it does take this long.
I say YOU Sell, I don't care what the share price is. I don't believe big money show up before the JV on a sub .05 cent stock. Volume does but not big money. YOU ALL UNDERSTAND THAT OUR CURRENT MARKET CAP IS $28 million currently. (I could probably buy the the whole US side of the deal with the help of a few friends) Our average daily $ traded is less than $100,000. Nobody even knows this stock exists outside pinky land. Most sane investors don't play the pinks for this reason.
If your in, your in because you chase the big play, not because the pinks have a great track record for winners. It is a 1 :1000 bet and thus a high risk, big return play that should be entertaining, but you will have times of great frustrations, you've got to survive these times if you want to play. This is my opinion only, I have no insight other than my own experience and this is not a offer to sell of a recommendation to purchase these shares. Everyone is on their own. So enjoy the ride, and understand you might feel sick at times and you wont know whether you scream with excitement of toss your cookies until the end.
I assume You Mean for the shorts - "it's looking worse by the day"
I have said, they have till the end of Q1 to complete the JV, that means no excuses, no delays. I think that is within the time frame I would expect if this deal is going to happen. If you have shares, it is probably worth the wait. What else are we going to do with the money, spend it on; gambling, booze and broads, golf, moose hunting, and pharmesuticals. While probably more fun, when its gone, its gone, and no possible up side.
Chewy, buddy, give 90 more days. If it does not happen, your not out a thing. And you can do the "Chewy was right" dance till the cows come home.
PS, Loved the Christmas card.
If your IN, Your IN
IMHO, It is time for this deal to get done. Volume suggests the same. The SP is still meaningless and the facts are lining-up for some conclusion with-in a short period (Don't bother to reply about all the next weeks). I think it is this year for the following reasons:
1. Management has told us there is a deal on the table (2-24-10)
2. Management tells us that several well-known Intl mining companies have expressed interest in the deal (5-4-10 Q&A)
3. Management tells us that a preferred partner has been selected and a memoradium of intent documents were prepared but no completion date was made. (7-30-10 Q&A)
4. Management submits application and receives approval to Edgar reporting system, additional consideration regarding compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley and FAST system of electronic transferring of shares are being discussed (9-10-10 Q&A)
5. JJ summarizes the JV and contract process to help explain the complexities of what the company is attempting. (9-10-10 Q&A)
6. Management informs us that in late September, an "Intended Venture Agreement was signed by JJ alongs with other documents and schedules. In October, a meeting was held in Miami with parties to the agreements, amendments were presented by JJ to the existing agreement and agreed to by the other parties and are being incorporated in final JV agreement. (11-2-10 Q&A)
7. The prices of gold has continued to climb 23.24%, copper 36% and silver 64.93% over this period of time.
We are now a little over 30 days beyond the last Q&A and within a reasonable time frame for completion of the process outlined under number 5 Q&A. While the process has been prolonged beyond our expectations, management has attempted on a regular basis to keep us informed that the process continues and no adverse situation have occurred to terminate the work completed to date (all while under a strict NDA).
If the JV agreement is not completed by the end of the year, then IMHO I would expect that a new Q&A will be made with additional information for us to consider, and will help everyone in determining if they want to continue to hold this investment. The time table is such that what we are looking at is a final determination prior to the end of the first quarter 2011. It is all or nothing at that point. The Momo, Chewy, Miningman, coalition will be vindicated IMHO if we reach April without everything completed. I believe we will have definative information FROM THE COMPANY before then.
The SP does not matter if you take these facts, without emotion, and based on other DD information regarding the main asset of the company. Each individual must make their own investment decision. This board clearly reflects, the ones that believe and those that are more sceptical. My suggestion is don't buy into either side, read, research and then place your bet at a level with the understanding this is a high risk investment.
One's Prospective is Based on Life Experiences
I have been in this investment for a relatively short period of time compared to others on this board (2 years November). I was fortunate to buy a bunch at .01 or below .01, but have also purchased significant number of shares after the February 2010 corporate letter.
I have understood from my first purchase that this was an all or nothing bet. Two years later, I still believe that there is a real possibility that this could be on the list of my best investment decisions in my life. (And in no way could it get close to the top five on the list of worse investments). That being said, I agree with you, that if you let the emotional side of investing cloud your judgement, you usually end up buying or selling at the wrong time.
If this is going to be a homerun, the SP does not matter, today or even up until the AGM. What comes out of the AGM will dictate the probabilities of whether this is historic or not. Yes we need the JV announcement first, but that, IMHO, takes us to the next price point (if you already believe, the JV will not mean much). As such, I want the AGM announcement, I want the details/ time tables / ownership %. The rest is playing with pennies, I want to know if we have an opportunity at dollars. Until then it is all or nothing.
We only know if this is legit when we get additional facts. The P & Ds will play their games, the names are meaningless, and there is not a pump that is going to take this to a meaningful level before the JV announcement and release of the detailed terms. And there is not a dump that is going to move many true longs to sell before the first quarter of next year.
But the one fact we know at this time, that we can rely on, is that managment has via a Q & A, on the Company website, represented that there is a deal on the table, that the terms of that deal have been agreed to and that as of the date of the Q & A there were not any material items to lead them to believe that it will not close. Everything else on this site or MP is just noise. A way to manage the doubts of those that have waited a long time to determine which side of the investment list this bet goes under.
That is why, I appreciate your previous post. while I do not agree with your accessment of the situation, the players, the mountain or the outcome, I agree that both sides of the discussion, when emotion is eliminated from the equation, is important. I believe we will not need to wait much longer to find out who is right and who is wrong. (oh and I think MP is a valuable part of the equation, bashing is easy, believing in this play if not at times).
Have a great weekend, and here is believing we will see the next step for MDMN soon. Stay relevant.
That without a doubt was your best most insightful post ever, (excluding the opening line). Your points were articulated in a reasonable and plausible manner that I believe added value to the discussion without the mindless distractors.
Thank you for your thoughts.
I Did Not Know I was Your Buddy
I am still here waiting for the news and reading your insightful posts. I still find little reason to add anything to the discussion. This deal gets done soon, your on board, or your just a basher at this point. The time for mindless bantering is over and that is why the board is quiet.
PS Can't wait for your Christmas card......buddy.
Aug post
That post related to the miners issue and when it would be resolved. Some were talking about a December time frame before they got them out. Look, I don't know squat. But I do know how business is done and I think I understand the individuals in this stock play. Like I said, I am holding until the end of the first quarter next year and then I kiss this play goodbye.
But I still think it is a December 7th announcement and a January AGM. If I am wrong, it is because I don't know anything that anyone else does. It just makes sense that, that date works. The time tables fit, short of a worldwide disaster, Chilean revolution or earthquake. I have always held a belief that this is the day.
But like I said, I have no F#@%ing idea. It will come when it comes. It is a buy and hold, do or die, all or nothing bet. That is why I Say "If your in, your in". I have bet big, and still feel real good about the bet. Post JV I still say .15 without a NS factoring in and as much as $1 upon feasiblity study and start of production.
But we need the JV first. This is my last post, while I will read the negative posts that accumulates here for any possible relevant information, I find most of it irrelavent and unbalanced,(sometime funny). If the 7th roles by, you chewy, momo and the gang, feel free to bash me, like you do, I'll read it and feel real bad (I promise). Here is hoping we never get to that.
I think I got it right so far.
Go Back and read my posts.
Sorry Momo I did not want to forget you.
You at least made me laugh every once in a while. The floor is now yours.
You must be talking about the band.
Nothing is ever posted here that amounts to any real current information on this investment. Bashing is not providing creditible facts. You lost your purpose.
What is the truth.
Please tell us the truth as you see i,t in 20 word or less, not your usual 80 word BS.
Your Right Your Always Right
Oh except for your investment in MDMN. Based on what your telling everyone, you were big time wrong on that. So now where do we go with that. Nowhere.
Well Now Aint That A Real Pickle.
I am glad alot of you were able to read my post before it got deleted. I went back to see if I could figure out what was off topic about the post. It must have been the fair and balanced comment.
I'm here till March, but just as a spectator. There seems to be no reason for anything else at this point. The emperor has no cloths.
Like a Snow Ball down a Hill
Here is comes. You can see the fear on the board, this thing is headed our way. Within three weeks IMHO, all things are lining up for a closing before year end.
Investment Planning IMHO
Each investor has his or her own tolerance for investing. Those individuals that invest on OTC pink stocks fall into another category still. These individuals tend to be high risk takers and investors looking for accelerated SP movements within short durations based on limited verifiable information. That is the nature of the penny stock market. Most if not all the entities listed on the pink sheets have no material operating earnings to speak of and thus have no measurable valuation.
We gamble on the all or nothing bet. There are those that play the SP swing and make a living at it, these are the ones that have been in the stock for 12 + years IMHO. Otherwise you would have to be insane to stay in a non operating entity for any period of time after the failure of management to deliver the goods, time and time again.
Thats not to say you can't come back as the situation changes, but to never sell is the definition of insanity.
I have been in this play for over 2 years. I started with a small holding and as the JV prospects have increased I have moved additional money on the dips. My return todate is in excess of 300%, I could leave now and be satisfied. But I believe that we will see a much higher SP if the JV is announced. If we do not get an announcement within a time frame that is reasonable for the industry and country of operations, I will move out of the stock.
I See the posters that apply US standards to a foreign stock, either don't understand Intl business or are just posting to stir the pot for whatever reason. Most JV in Chile take in excess of 1 year from the time negotiations start to the completion and signing of the agreement. (I have posted on this in the past) MDMN is within the time line to complete a sucessful JV. IMHO if we get to May of next year without a JV, it is time to move out of the shares and find the next pot of gold.
Just my opinion.
Another Good Volume Day
I expect continued buying pressure, and the basher will be hitting the boards hard to hold down the price. Look for the so called longs to question the timing of the JV and understand that this is an all or nothing play. The deal will be done when it gets done and not anytime sooner. Don't count on next week, its a buy and hold investment. All the posters will tell you they have held for 14 years, If that is the case, you have to question their investment strategy and sanity because that's just not good planning.
Buy and hold until you think the deal never gets done, then sell, or wait and buy on the news. I will just cost you a little more.
I still am looking for an early December JV announcement and AGM in January. My recommendation in not to sell on the announcement but wait for the AGM. But that is just MHO. Do your own due diligence and understand the play. The stock has been around a long time and has survived every stock trick in the book, bad corporate communications and two previous JV attempts. This is a high risk play and you need to understand it is not a sure thing. BUT, if your going to roll the dice for big money, you might be at the right table.
If your IN, Your IN
I am looking for increased volume.
Look for increased volume over next three weeks. SP does nt matter at this point as continued downward pressure applied by MMs will only be broken on consistent strong purchase volume.
MDMN day is coming. January AGM means no capital gains this year and extention of Bush tax cuts means no financial pressure to sell. All lights are green. IMHO.
If your IN, Your In.
Short Squeeze Theory 1
OK lets say there is 700 million share issued,@ .0325 that puts the market cap at $22.750 million.
If we go with the post JV, pre drilling SP of .15 that puts the market cap at $105 million. (reasonable before squeeze SP)
NOW let assume conservatively 500 million NS shares. Post JV that would put the NS exposure at $75 Million.
Now for the fun part, assume 50% of the issued shares are held by Juan and FOJ (friends of Juan) and thus will not be traded post JV. that leaves 350 million shares avaiable for the NS to cover their exposed positions. If we make a radical assumtion that current shareholders will sell 1/4 of their holdings at JV announcement, that would be 87.5 million shares off their 500 million share exposure. Add the outsiders that now want a little piece of the mountain and you would think that we see the SP move north quickly.
Changing the NS number by dividing it in half to 250 million still leaves the NS exposure after JV announcement and 1/4 shareholder sale at 162.5 million shares or $24.375 Million. And as the price moves north of .15 this number grows to a point that they can't cover.
Even if the NS position is only 90 million, we should see some squeeze from the new money coming into the stock.
I think that the outside guess of NS squeeze is around .75 to $1.25 assuming the FOJ hold their shares till production, but there still is not enough to cover unless NS position is under 350 million and no new money comes into the play.
Just my guess. At .75 that puts the market cap of the mountain at 1 billion dollars. 50% of which is MDMN's.
All this is conjecture, we need the JV announcement first. It is still an all or nothing bet.
If your IN, Your IN.
Momo....Thats 3,125 shares
Multiply that times the post JV SP and you might be talking about some real money. Oh, thats right, you have lost the faith. Never mind.
Show Me the .03 Love.
Someone did'nt get the memo. Still think the .12 - .15 SP after the announcement is realistic. (with no factor for NS) No matter when it comes. IMHO I'm looking at early December with an AGM in January.
That puts the market cap at 100 Million US$ post JV annoucement, pre-drilling. Puts the whole deal at somewhere twice that.
3 gets you 9. Not bad on a high risk investment IMHO. It's all or nothing. Bet what you can lose.
I am sensing a lttle panic.
The unwashed are starting to panic. They are going to pull out all the stops this week. No time for just negative comments and conjectures, this week will be interesting and fun. The next month will be an all out ROFL.
I do not expect large volume increase before JV announcement giving shorts opportunity to continue downward pressure on SP. But should see some shareholder roundng out holdings first part of week. IMO of course. Can't imagine anyone selling this week, but stranger thing have happened.
What Do We Need a Q&A for?
Half of you do not believe anything that comes out of managements mouth and therefore the Q&A will just feed the dumpers for not being more informative.
The believers don't need no stinking Q&A, we need a JV announcement and anything short of that is just more history. The newbies think that a Q&A means something, but it does'nt. Everyone posting here is right (even the unwashed), it will be less than what you need to make an informed decision on (buy more or selling what you got), but will be enough to make you wonder if this thing is going to happend "next week" or next month.
That is the way it goes. Its all or nothing, and anything short of a JV announcement is meaningless. Just like the current Share price. That is the bet and nothing at this point is going to change that.
I still hear the distant sound of a deal, waiting for a Q&A is not going to change the pace in which it finally arrives.
Now That was a Good Post
That narrative was the right tone and expressed both the frustrations and anticipation of all shareholders invested in this bet.
You Just Posted "The Why" We Get Nothing From Management
Your definition of misleading is yours, and yours alone, and is based on you having no personal information to base your assumptions on. Others may agree or in part, but you feed off each other for a purpose of WHAT?
I have many of the same feelings of disapointment regarding the timing of this investment. BUT I understand the bet. This is not an operating company that is not giving out timely estimates of earnings. We either hit a home run or strike out. That is a fact.
We all wish someone would come and give us the "sure thing". This is not the case here and all those people investing their life savings are idiots. No rational financial adviser would tell you to buy this OR any other pink sheet stock with money you can't afford to lose.
I have said in the past and still believe it, this board has a place in that both sides of an auguement can be heard, but the nay sayers need to step up and understand the investment and make a creditable arguement that has some objective purpose other than to depress the SP.
What does "Doubt Me at Your Own Risk" mean?
This BS about history is a pile of it. This is a "go" or "no go" bet, the company has no operating income to speak of, so you are betting the deal gets done or not. The timing is meaningless unless you have other opportunities to invest your money. Therefore the SP is meaningless. This is a .15 and up stock on the deal or its nothing.
So you say "the deal will get done", why the warning about the risk. What does that mean?
OMG People Switch to Decaf
What changed today from the last two years that have set all you people off? You cannot tell me you bought up a bunch of shares over the last three weeks in anticipation of an announcement. The volume says differently.
You can't have believed the "next week" predictions, most of these people posting here do it to make a cheap buck. Its their job. And it has alway been "next week" on these boards. And if it not, then it will always be something with the P&Ds.
You can't buy that someone you trusted said something negative and is writing a nasty letter to management. Managmement does not care. Really, I have been through two of these previously, they do not care if you come or go. They want to get the deal done, but it will be at a time and place that they do not control. They are the little fish in the big pond, because they do not have the independent testing to play the big fish. You need to believe that. And if you did any due diligence you already know that.
Todays selloff was a total of $156,000 in stock, give me a break. Tomorrow will probaly be more of the same, then they will come back in at some price point and start it all over again, pumping the stock. That is the way it works.
The SP is meaningless. It is a "go" or "no go" bet. That is what this play is. Nothing changed today that moved it from one side of this fact to another. It certainly was not the fact that we did not get an update or announcement.
I agree, "go with your gut" and if you see the same individuals posting here in two weeks that are telling you to get out today, you will know, that they are good at their jobs. Watch.
IMO, this deal will get done, but not on anyones time table, and definately no one here has a clue, what or when that will be.
If Your IN, Your IN. If Your Out, Thanks for coming by. Next time understand what you are buying before you make the bet.
Chewy Makes a Good Point
In his 11-5-10 posting he says:
"A lot of us are tired of the bears complaining how rumors of next week never materialize. It's been next week for 15 years now, get over it already. The mountain isn't going anywhere. If you're in, you're In"
I agree totally.

I think Les may give us an update next week. I know many are disappointed to hear we are still in the update phases, but with a deal of this magnitude, we should be grateful management even keeps us in the loop. A lot of us are tired of the bears complaining how rumors of next week never materialize. It's been next week for 15 years now, get over it already. The mountain isn't going anywhere. If you're in, you're In (just don't sell, because you won't be in anymore) Only hold what you can afford to lose (remember this is high risk/high reward), and never go short over the weekend. With a jv announcement dangerously imminent, I would not want to be short over the weekend. The squeeze alone can take us to 20 bucks+, and knowing they will release the news premarket, the shorts are really going to get it. BURN SHORTY. I think most of us are getting extremely excited, as this may be the last weekend we say "next week will be our week" . In the 15 years of medinah history, I don't think we have ever been this dangerously close to the announcement. It's so close I'm almost scared to admit it, but will definitely not be telling the wife I think next week is "it" . After 5 years of me saying the same thing, she doesn't believe me anymore. None of that will matter after I show up in the new car, which I have already put a deposit on that I will pay off with my MDMN winnings from the massif short squeeze. I think next week, may very well be the last"next week" , and I suggest everyone celebrates this honorary moment this weekend. I wouldn't celebrate too hard though, being this close to Juan's passing I recommend everyone also take a moment to mourn the loss and thank the good Lord for what his family has brought to the table. Bless all shareholders in advance, and have a great "last friday before the last next week" friday
Thanks Chewy
You are so positive about this investment. I am going to reference your post to a number of other investors i know in MDMN. This will make the weekend alot easier on them. Most of us still believe we are at least a few weeks off from the announcement BUT wow, you are already putting deposits down from your gains. You must be really sure OR you are a #*&$ idiot.
If you don;t mind, I will reference this post in the next couple weeks so everyone can appreciate your positive thoughts. But I will remind them that you are just one voice and that they are responcible for their own investment decisions.
Thanks again. Your In, So Your In. Good for You.
Pick a Side
PER YOU"I would remind you that JJ is the one who has dragged this contract out years longer than necessary so that he could go down in history as the world's greatest mining contract negotiator. And it was JJ who continued his own merciless efforts to squeeze the very last penny out of the JV partners, even up to a few weeks ago, while his own brother was dying".
First - You were not there, so you do not know any of what took place in 2007- 2008.
Second - His fiduciary duty is to, as you say, "squeeze the very last penny out of the JV partners" not roll over to apease your time table.
Thirdly - Your comments related to his brother are insulting, but more to the point, reflect his continued work on the shareholders part in what surely was a dificult ime in his family life.
Make an arguement that reflects the subject of your point. You are all over the place.
Roundmound_6 "It is A Pinkie"
By law or lack thereof, management has little or no responsiblity. We cannot judge JJ to a legal standard that does not exist.
You trade on the pink all the time, you know this Company's past reporting record, YOU KNOW THAT they are under a non disclosure for the JV, and you know they are no better or worst than 50% of the other OTC stocks out their.
So what are you going on about. Really. Were I am from we refer to your type as "ensañarse". Look it up
