Agree, and this presents a long and slow buying opportunity.
A lack of meaningful legislation.
I guess my point is that nothing will move this stock up except meaningful legislation
How did Harvest go from 3,196 last week to 8,354 this week? OMG OMMU. Those Harvest stores will soon be rebranded as Trulieve stores.
Really? This merger has been anticipated for months. Why do you think anything will change now?
I hope you’re all listening or watching the House proceedings today on Weed legislation and you can see the backward approach taken by one side of the aisle.
CNBC reports the House passed Safe Banking Act
Just curious why anyone would buy Trulieve right now when you can buy Harvest at a discount? I keep reading posts about people buying more and more tcnnf.

Track it until passed and signed by Joe. Watch it advance on the bottom of the page under Tracker.
We’re not looking at the same data. Where do you see Alt selling more than half of Trulieve thc sales? A little less than half but not more than half. Also, Trulieve’s bud sales are 10 x Alts even without Harvest’s 2,000 + ounces. I might be wrong but I think bud is where the customers are and not overall THC. Just using last week’s OMMU data, which was a down week for Trulieve. Let’s give it some time to establish a trend.
Yep, work in Miami. Live in Broward. And I appreciate alternative points of view. I am critical of the company at times but I just think they have such a dominant position, and if a price war ensues, Trulieve can outlast others because they’re profitable and can afford to lose money to keep market share. Who else can do that? Sorry for the long sentence…..
I need to see data from more than a week to believe they’re losing dominance. You picked last week where the numbers were down from the prior one. Only looking at flower, Trulieve sold 41,000 ounces in the prior week. Nobody even comes close! Add to that 2,000 or 3,000 more from Harvest.
Your future estimate of 20% when they currently have around 50% is too much of a drop. What are you basing that on? Do you think Trulieve will just let that happen. Remember they’re profitable and they’ve got high margins. Who else in Florida can say that? Everyone else has to lose more than they currently lose to try to catch up.
I think we all want to see $100 as soon as possible. We just have differing opinions on the sideshow. Nothing to get upset about.
Still have sentencing in late October. It’ll be big news in the weed sector. But what do you guys call that? FUD? So you, me, Cabo’s, etc need to tone it down. Let that sink in……..ONWARD
Doesn’t any of this stink to you? Nothing? I have a lot invested in this company. It shocks me that people with significant money here would be so casual about this.
She’s an M&A attorney with a valley girl accent. There’s a lot to running this type of operation and I bet she has a variety of talented folks around her.
The whole sector sucks right now. Even after the CEO’s husband gets sentenced in late October, this will need some kind of legislative catalyst to move it up. I’m curious why you call it a bs court case? Just yesterday Scott Maddox got 5 years for his role in Tallahassee corruption. During The “bs trial” it came out that Maddox coordinated with Burnette in vote that benefitted Trulieve. You can call that drama but as a shareholder, i want to know about it.
If you view this board frequently you’ll see that Funman is certainly not a shorter or manipulator of Trulieve. If you don’t get the connection, you need to connect some dots.

I’ll try to keep this about weed and politicians and leave the dumb socialism boogeyman argument for others, politicians from the right get their support from law and order, religious, family values, and just plain old conservative voters. They are raised that way, and they rise up through the political ranks preaching conservative values. Weed use is not something conservatives support. There may be two kinds of conservative politicians that would support weed legalization: 1) Libertarians who support limited government and individual freedoms and , 2) Republicans who believe there are significant economic and medicinal value to limited relaxing of weed restrictions. Buying off either party to support issues that run counter to the base is very rare. My point being that most politicians are not corrupt and cannot be bought, regardless of the image they project.
Now, as to your assertion that we’re going socialist, I kinda like Social Security, FDIC, USPS, unemployment insurance, Medicare, etc, etc, etc.
What would Harvest need a license in Florida for? It’ll soon be redundant. Hopefully they added some limitations to where Planet can put dispensaries.
Anything in excess is bad. But I’ll still take my weed instead of alcohol anytime. And alcohol is legal and accepted in this culture.
I tried to follow her but I get denied. Maybe because of all the kink i follow on Twitter.
That's weird because immediately after the trial she received overwhelming support on Twitter - like she was up for a nobel prize. Now its gone south. Wish I could see some of the posts or tweets or whatever they're called.
Did something happen to Kim Rivers Twitter account? It say these tweets are protected.
Completely agree - the liberty location is far better than the Trulieve location near me, and liberty is never crowded.
Does anyone live near a Harvest store in Florida? I wonder how busy they are? Imagine if those stores begin pumping out flower sales like Trulieve stores do. We’ll have to wait a few months to find out. Also will they be rebranded or remain as Harvest?
I live near the Dania store and pass a liberty store that’s very close. The Trulieve parking lot is significantly more crowded than the liberty. In fact I’ve never seen more than three cars at liberty - how many of those are employees. The Trulieve employees and customers tend to overflow park at the Aldis across the street.
I’m a long term investor and I give a shit. Really don’t know what else to say that hasn’t been said before so I’ll just leave it at that. I think integrity is in short supply lately.
And now I can’t find where I read Q1 or 2 of 22. I’ve seen multiple reports of the companies being vague on the closing date. I hope you’re right because I have shares of both.
I’ll see if I can find something that refers to when. Remember we’re in the middle of Q3 21 right now, so I doubt it’s gonna close in Q3.
Is everyone who’s buying still buying Harvest instead of Trulieve? My only concern is that the deal is expected to close in Q1 or Q2 2022.
According to Cathie Wood, they’ll be editing out bad genes pretty soon and then we can live longer and better.

Can’t argue with that
I live in Hollywood and work in local government in Dade, where corruption runs rampant. Guys like Burnette are constantly abusing the system and honest people suffer. It’s probably his normal way of operating and I wonder how much Kim is like him. I simply don’t trust her. Id really like to see some changes at the top but doubt that’ll happen. She controls everything including the board.
And I think you mean “Days of our Lives”
Google her ownership of Harvest. The Republicans have been called her “Nikki Weed” for some time now. They will come up with lots of stuff to discredit her. She may have support down here in S Florida but the rest of the state usually tilts right.
Interesting but she has baggage that’ll be exploited. She’s also a Harvest shareholder.
Pete, with me it’s not about jealousy or shorting or rooting for Trulieve to fail. I don’t like tilted playing fields or public corruption because someone operating honestly is harmed and trust is lost. That’s just me. I also have significant money in this and really really hope it takes off. Even if it goes up to $100 I still will have concerns about the board and CEO. When issues of integrity arise, we as shareholders must be vigilant to restore trust, otherwise dishonesty and deceit will be the order of the day. I would love to see integrity restored to Trulieve. I think we can all agree on that.
Jelly Bean,
I got concerned when I saw the CEO in court everyday with her husband who was charged with multiple felonies. I really started to look into it and didn’t like what I saw. If you’re ok with everything that has come out, then rock on! Me, I want a new CEO and a clean slate going forward. I really don’t care how well she ran things before. Integrity means a lot.
Your Friend,
Suprfreek
She is the Chairman of the board which means she decides who is on the board and what will be discussed by the board. If enough of them went against her they could probably push her out but doesn’t seem likely at least from my limited perspective.
