Couldn't agree more. I would have preferred two separate press releases, the K news was not prominent.
I wager that we'll see real upward movement in SP once we have a PR that shows we're associated with a big Pharma.
Life has been teaching me patience the past few years...
Thanks NR, good weekend to you and all here.
I agree with your disagreement.
Agreed; the latest news never even appeared on Seeking Alpha.
IMO we are still below the radar, and until our name is formally associated with a big pharma we will continue to be so.
Nice analysis BH, a thorough job on something I briefly touched on a couple of days ago:

A respectable salary, but not all that many shares. Strikes me that inside expectations are that the stock price is expected to ultimately be much, much higher.
Thanks Karin.
For what it's worth, I haven't seen anything from SA on the latest CTIX announcement. They absolutely bury me with emails and notices on lesser stuff all day, but not a peep about our best news yet...anyone seen anything from them?

True, just had a celebratory ale myself, and damned if I won't have another, see you all Monday.
Helluva week!
Incubus, thanks.
I'm also wondering about these small sell amounts. On level II (Ameritrade) I frequently see "100" asks...are they really 100 share lots? When I post an ask or sell, it shows up as a lower number by a factor of 10 or 100. E.g., if I'm selling 1,000 shares it shows up as 10 or 100. ???
Quick spike to $3.37
Curious, are your orders filling now?
Yes, didn't even make SA's "breaking news" yet.
Then they should read it again:
All Brilacidin treatment regimens were well tolerated. There were six severe adverse events (SAE) reported across the study, none of which were considered related to Brilacidin by the principal investigator.
News needs time to spread. And this is GREAT news.

Thanks Reardon. Nothing up as of early this morning, but here is a link:

$3.09 close, very nice
Curious, do we have an expected date or time frame that we (the public) will know the unblinded results? thanks
$3.03 baby...!
Spiked to $2.94
$2.47: Nice call
Picked up 4,000 shares yesterday, now holding a bit over 91k shares. Definitely loaded for bear, ready for this rocket to launch. Going thru the sofa cushions today looking for funds to buy more...
Good news on Brilacidin.
Agreed. Picked up 4700 shares today as well.
Absolutely!
Bunch of thoughts:
Leo: Quiet as the proverbial mouse. And I do recall some time back he stated (in essence) that if something was going wrong he'd announce immediately. Other than a few stray PRs he doesn't seem to be releasing info or answering emails. Very quiet indeed. Makes one wonder.
ASCO: Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe CTIX is not scheduled to present this weekend...so, it will be extremely interesting if Leo makes an appearance via another presenting firm.
Patience: Yeah, been a long couple of years. But holding this stock is a breeze compared to a certain Connecticut-based, NYSE-listed, anti-viral therapeutics firm I'm into that would test the patience of Job.
Thought for the day: I wonder what the "magic number" is for Leo right now. How much would he have to be offered today to sell the company outright? A safe wager to assume he'd likely say "no" to one billion, but certainly say "yes" to one hundred billion. Guessing the answer lies between these estimates. Thoughts?
And finally, Dr. Jerry: Dude, hoping you are right. You'll win ballsy-est poster of the month if so.
----------
Long, strong, 81,900 shares - and holding on to them like a fat kid with a cupcake.
Tootall, you are one among a dozen posters here to whom I owe a beer once our patience bears fruit. This is merely a matter of continual positive thought and persistence. Thanks.

Thanks for the post.
Gotta hope this is a hint:
...commented Dr. Krishna Menon, Chief Scientific Officer at Cellceutix. “The $560-million agreement between Roche and Polyphor in November for a Phase 2 drug and $191 million-plus deal with Discuva the other week for a technology to discover new therapies highlights just how valuable a new multi-drug resistant Gram-negative antibiotic is today.”
Definitely understand your frustration, been waiting quite a while myself.
I love CTIX (and another similarly frustrating nano-based stock a number of posters here also are into), and I've come to the reluctant conclusion that neither stock will see a significant move in price until one of the following:
a. Inflow of big $$ via a partnership with a Big Pharma;
b. A monumental medical milestone/FDA approval; and/or
c. Being acquired.
Yes, I too want this to happen soon, today would be great. Just feel sometimes that the universe is teaching me a lesson in patience.
Bottom line is I do with absolute conviction believe this stock will be a huge success. I just don't know when.
LOL yeah it is a perpetual 100 share ask at a low price, ugh
100 at 1.91
1,500 1.92
5,000 1.93
Linebacker is right. Just seems that these little 100 share trades are intentionally manipulating the price downwards. Even if selling at (what is likely a small) profit, who would want to keep paying fees for what looks like dozens of these small trades?
I heard tech glitch on OTC, it will be down until Noon
