If the bid hits $1 with no reverse splits involved, then I will sell my shares at that price.
No you won't, my shares aren't anywhere on the ask. Also, not in a margin account so, the shares aren't being borrowed either.
kudos, you deserve the shares.
The bid is staying strong above the trips, this is good news. Though the last big volume day was a week ago. Let's keep getting the float into strong hands, with high expectations of the company and stock.
ok, good
I appreciate your enthusiasm, but I personally think we are better off making a concerted effort to spread the news about AFPW when there is news to spread.
The advantages to the buyer in waiting include:
1) Less risk, it is still a sub-penny stock, and this way if everything fell apart (which I strongly believe will not happen) they can simply walk away and look more closely at another alternative they they are right now looking into as a contingency plan. And if needed expand their research into other options they haven't considered yet.
2) Higher motivated, more complete, core staff staying on at AFPW for the longer pre-buyout time period.
3) easier to guage a buy-out value acceptable to buyer and AFPW.
duplicate of previous message accidentally double posted.
Either that or a large private customer, (e.g. defense contractor) as has been brought up in the past, makes the most sense. Any reasonably priced buyout would make me VERY happy.
Agreed. It would be great to have a slow and steady, sustainable, rise (as TradeHo says a few messages back); leading up to multiple PRs and a newly unveiled majorly upgraded website. (Revealed simultaneously, or one after the other).
Here is an interesting article put out by the U.S. Department of Energy, for the education of kids. Based on reading this AFPW could be a key player in filling a large demand.
www.eia.gov/kids/energy.cfm?page=hydrogen_home-basics
"Steam reforming is currently the least expensive method of producing hydrogen and accounts for about 95% of the hydrogen produced in the United States. This method is used in industries to separate hydrogen atoms from carbon atoms in methane (CH4). But the steam reforming process results in greenhouse gas emissions that are linked with global warming."
"Electrolysis is a process that splits hydrogen from water. It results in no emissions, but it is currently an expensive process. New technologies are currently being developed."
The "most recent data" section is from 2010 end of year. So this article must be fairly recently put together. Usually in government articles. "recent data" is reasonably old.
I think this link is old as well. When you click on home from it, you get the same "index" page, message that the page is unavailable. "over" is just another stale page they are not using, at least yet, for the new website. Great things are coming soon. I am greatly anticipating the new website. I'm out of funds to buy shares, and am just steadfastly waiting. IMO
Go AFPW
This is a good sign. The "index" page is now probably being used for the new websit and is no longer available as part of the previous website. We must be getting close to having the new updated website ready for launch! IMO
It would be great if this post were stickied.
I recall $61,000, but it could have been $63,000
I've still bought the only shares today, 1M +, what is going on. I'll very happy to get my first AFPW trip zeros :)
I was in total agreement with you until the last statement. PPS will be affected by OS and to a lesser degree the AS. Both common and preferred. And the share friendliness of the management of the company. I'm hoping the new website is available for viewing very soon.
I agree.
From a 12/7/11 PR:
" [AFPW] announced today that it has made significant progress towards fulfilling the Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC) contract to develop and deliver a Portable Balloon Inflation System (PBIS-2000) by the end of February, 2012."

I second that.
Great point. Just wish I had more funds to be among those added to their holdings, or starting positions, at these rediculously low levels. (IMO) But I am still happy with my buy range of .001 to .0017, averaging exactly in the middle of that range.
This statement I totally agree with. I just believe the sales are coming. At the trade show there was even interest be multiple parties to be distributors / middle men for PBIS products.
"Perhaps the most significant development at the AMS Meeting was a series of discussions with several major companies in the meteorological community that expressed interest in establishing partnership arrangements involving worldwide marketing and sales of the Company's PBIS products."

The last couple of runs were on no news. Just buying pressure from people who really wanted a lot of shares. (IMO)
Perkins Capital bought 40M Shares.

I agree. Even with the current OS we are in a great company. Though the more accurately informed everyone is the better. I'm patient, but very desirous of good news. And am anticipating a strong, quality, well received unveiling of the new website still under construction.
I agree. I referenced the same PR in the same context last month. See post #29231, the first part concerning Article XI.
Hopefully the next rise in SP will not be constrained by the recent trading range. But will have substantial PRs that lift the SP to where it belongs. With staying power and new investors with a mind set of much larger and sustained growth in a groundbreaking company, with a growing collection of valuable patents, clients, and partners.
I believe the first option will happen.
Our company's future ideas / patents are of great value not just the current patents. Keeping key employees, or having as long a transitional / consulting phase from existing employees as possible would be of paramount importance.
For example they have mentioned in PRs that they are planning ways of expanding beyond powder form of Al. E.g. solid Al, and other elements besides Al.
"PHILADELPHIA, PA--(Marketwire -12/09/11)- Early production stage hydrogen generation company AlumiFuel Power, Inc. ("API"), the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania-based wholly owned operating subsidiary of AlumiFuel Power Corporation (OTC.BB: AFPW.OB - News) (the "Company"), announced today it is in the process of broadening the Company's Intellectual Property (IP) portfolio to include numerous aluminum- and non aluminum-related hydrogen storage/generation technologies."
Also from Jan 13th of this year...
insert-text-here
"API and Ingenium have already built a hydrogen generator capable of powering a 200W fuel cell. The system uses a modified PBIS-1000 canister with a different powder chemistry"
But we really need to get some income to stop the debt accumulation, and the accompanying dilution of shares.
This article discourages owning hydrogen stocks, but assumes the only interest is for hydrogen powered cars. $AFPW is laying a ground work that is not many years away but has commercial application now. And the applications are growing in variety and capacity (e.g. going from PBIS-1000 to PBIS-2000). We can be be extremely successful as a company whether or not the nation ultimate goal of Hydrogen powered cars becomes a reality.
Also, the article mentions the problems it the quote below that $AFPW can help meet the need.
"Renewable Production of Hydrogen... Hydrogen as a fuel does not occur naturally. There are no hydrogen reserves to tap or mines we can excavate. It must be manufactured, shipped and then stored... presenting a whole slew of problems."
The positives the article states are that like $AFPW the hydrogen stocks in general are at all time lows. And with the right stock ($AFPW IMO) and enough time and patience good things can happen. AFPW has an edge that may reduce the wait time significantly. Especially compared to other companies that may be shooting for highways filled with Hydrogen powered cars, or failure of their company.
IMO
It is possible that the Airforce wants us to delay the PR, until after the delivery is reviewed and checked over. It is also possible that the initial date of end of February has slipped to later in the 1st quarter. Or it could be the contract was modified increasing the time needed and the final revenue from the contract. Or ...
I am happy with the company, and am anticipating a fabulously successful 2012.
IMO
I don't see it getting to the trip zeros at all, not just short term. IMO
One reason for some people is that English is not their first language. Or in some cases not their second language either.
Any post I submit is IMO, and on my better days IMHO
I agree with your sentiments, and conclusion. AFPW is strong, and is getting stronger.
