That's another one people struggle with. Been "rumoured" for a while that an offer/s of 0.50 have been rejected by serious players. How does this alone not affect the price? If we hear "rumours" don't others who are involved near or around the big players, wouldn't there have been some real significant purchases?
Then why is it still only $0.12?
Think it was Mr Bird who said after everyone believed Mr Inza confirmed in a verbal conversation with someone that the letters had been sent out, that the letters sent out were not infringement letters but more of a mail shot instead. So even though we had seen claims that infringement letters would be sent, apparently and allegedly Mr Inza confirming "the letters" had been sent, now we are told they were not infringment letters and why would VPLM dare to do anything so stupid?
Interesting but not seeing any real strength in this climb or the last and to date all climbs short lived.
So what do you think running the streets gains them? A pure heist in trying to get more marks?
Believe me I am one of the biggest cynics out there but allegedly the people who say they know people who know Malak (you get the picture) are all saying the same thing.
Totally and utterly agree with both your and NYT"s sentiments. The only thing that keeps some small glimmer of hope alive for me is that someone did invest a lot of time and effort into these patents. Of course I am aware that over the years many people have created patents that ultimately turn to dust but it does mean that someone thought they were on the right track. Through inference I admit but people who suggest they have connections to BOD memenbers genuinely seem to believe that something is happening and that it is close, but the next year, next decade scenario we are so used to. Researching Colin Tucker is an ineresting one and hard to see why he would be a BOD member with his background which does appear fairly genuine. It is hard because there are so many inconsistencies and unreliable players in the top positions, so much that screams utter garbage but still ask why go to such effort for a pure scam? Is it all just misplaced hope in patents that actually fall short of the mark? Or was there a get together, rubbing of hands and we can make a ton with this scam? Or a genuine belief that these patents are foundational? I saw comment that they do not want to dilute shares with paying for an independent report but surely if they did and the patents were good the price would go through the roof and counter any dilution? Still very confused but as I have said written the money off so what will be will be
Lmao depends who you believe on that one as well. Court kicks it out and he has nothing to say but is later spun as a victory with a rumour of out of court settlement that went unreported. Indeed mmmmm......
The only factual DD one could preform is are the patents worth anything do they have any intrisic use or value in this market place. Opinion is divided and there is no independent valuation or corroboration of these patents. So unless you are an expert in this particular field of patents you like the rest of us are stumped. We can all talk to BOD members that much is true but seriously what do you expect them to tell you? Sorry lads actually the patents are worthless bits of paper and we knew that? Some have made serious money off trading VPLM by swing trading more than enough to pay off mortgages at the very least. For them in all honesty the patents or the end story is irrelevant. I am envious and wish I had known from the start and could have played that game. I applaud them. Some of us however fell for the story that these patents were beyond belief and industry controlling. As NYT suggests that little story cannot be played out much longer. Then there is truly nothing left and no opportunity for the rest of us to pay off our mortgages as well.
It is a very valid question. The horse himself Malak is telling all that will listen that it is imminent, he has an offer for two dollars a share in the table but expects that to be between five and ten very soon. That is VPLM's position. So putting aside all previous concerns and questions, putting aside someone who works for HP saying patents are worthless, apparently a patent expert at Boeing saying they are good, then surely this puppy has no more than 3-6 months left to run? What could possibly be the next excuse to drag this on? Sure one could be thought of but one that keeps the faithful, faithful? Think that would be hard to swallow....
The billion dollar question, " what are people not seeing in these patents?" Validation? An architect for the original HP company, a app designer who has one particular app geared to telephone services alleging patent trolls, apparently a Boeing patent expert saying they are sound but no independent validation. You can search the USPTO site until your thumbs fall off, you can address those whose opinion you respect but nobody seems to truly know if these patents and that is all VPLM is, the patent suite, have any true use or value. Mr Malik says they are worth a minimum of five billion and two is on the table, but then he would wouldn't he? Not going to say they are worthless and what did I waste my time for. Patent battles all over the place, some like Apple who thought they were strong and well placed looking like they will loose the judgement. So it really does look like a crap shoot. Purely based on the observations of how the business has been portrayed and aspects that many such as Beer, NYT and Sun have pointed out, you would have to lean to the logical conclusion at best a farce at worst a scam. But there are some approved patents that may just may have some value and even as a novice at patents if you take them in face value and they do indeed cover what they suggest on the can there would have to be significant value. Back to your question I think there are very, very few people that can actually confirm what they are or are not and that leaves a huge gaping hole of frustration. If Malik is to be believes and he is adamant that it is that close to a deal, bearing in mind I have written off my money then personally I will reserve judgement for another quarter. Still soaked with cynicism and having to agree with NYT, Beer etc but hopeful that there may just may be some true value.
Here is a strange and curious thing and why I stayed away from talking to BOD members because you were bound to only hear how much potential these patents have. I still strongly believe that logically and from a business perspective there should be an independent verification of the patents. I was told that VPLM look to be nothing more than patent trolls but and here is the but Emil Malak does seem excited, there is a conviction that a $2.00 offer is on the table all day long but there seems to be a very strong belief that very soon the more likely finishing price will be between $5-10.00, who from? Don't Know? Logic? Good Sense? Truth? Conviction and palpable excitement? What the hell is anybody supposed to believe? Me? Thought I had lost anyway, was gonna wait until the end anyway, there may just may be a chance that this may pay off....still gonna have some cynicism and make pokes at what looks like bullshit but hard to ignore a seemingly very genuine excitement....but hell this is exactly what got me in in the first place leaned toward thinking phoney now start swinging back to may just win the lottery. Please shoot me, driving me insane....
Where or how at any point can you claim this article or post has any link what so ever to Cisco having any knowledge or interest in VPLM?
Well done you. A great little click all agreeing with each other and slapping each other on the back and deriding those that ask questions. Your prerogative. You can believe me or believe me not. I have stayed away from talking to BOD members that much is true because I would expect to hear nothing more than how wonderful and profitable their product is going to be sometime sooner or later. I do have a friend who is a top player in Hewlet Packard, I do have a friend who has developed two major App businesses, I approached both, yes stupidly of me "after" I purchased because I trusted my friend who has made huge investment into VPLM and he convinced me he knew what he was talking about, both these contacts looked very briefly at the patents, deemed them trolls and firmly held on to their wallets. For me that is quite powerful DD. Up to you whether you believe it or not or want to call me names. Frankly don't care. I hope they are wrong, I hope your little secret club is actually correct and that I can at the very least recoup my loss but based in their input I am very cynical. My greates wish would be to see a independent leading recognized player in the field publish a paper on these patents. In my simple mind that is the only way to once and for all put the real and only question to bed "do these patents have any actual use or value in this current market.
5m shares? 0.00 cost? Even at recent lows a very healthy $350,000.00 profit. I envy you and can't help think there is a big chunk of my money in your profit, my loss your gain. But you have very much wanted the price to go up and down. Highs and lows have been very profitable for you. You have banked on it, cashed in on it. We agreed there is no value to this company, no assets no valued intellectual property. The price is solely driven by sheer speculation of what the "patents" might be worth to a seemingly fairly small network of people that either directly know one or more of the BOD or as in my case a friend of someone who directly knows one or more of the BOD. Most of those connections seem to link back to Kipping, Malak or Inza. In my simple mind I read all the board messages about the latest activity at the USPTO and RBR how this is the big one, nearly there, excited remarks on how the profit will be spent and yet the value increase by just 0.04 some .24 cents short of its best price what a year and a half or more ago, long before any talk of RBR and more based around the LI patent. Not heard anything about that one lately either. So then at .11 cents what we can say despite all the excited chatter a week or so ago it would appear that there is not much confidence what so ever in the patents and their ability to make any profit over this current price. There is strong denial of the MB board having the ability to pump the price but again in my simple mind these same people most connected with one or more BOD member want highs and lows so that they can 0.00 rate their cost and as they often advocate "swing trade," How then is this stock truly based on what people honestly believe what the patents are worth and is not based on pure hype and profiteering from highs and lows regardless of what the patents really are or are not?
So based on these facts with no independent valuation of the intellectual property the stock should be valued at $0.00?
I always assumed it gave a true indication of interest in a company and its products therefore had relevance. It is also interesting to note the longs who nod to any price increase as exciting and that the end is nigh but then appear disinterested or indicate it has no importance when it slips back down again. Confuses the heck out of this simple mind.....
There was someone on this board that said they had spoken to Mr Inza and states he confirmed that infringement letters had been sent out. Recently I think IBird said that they were not infringement letters but more of a mail shot stating that VPLM owned some patents at various states that may be of interest. There were as far as I am away any PR"s but people passing on information they say they received directly from Mr Inza....
So is that it then? The RBR patent worth 0.04 per share? Or will it drop even further throughout next week?
Every time a major win has happened on these last patents, we've seen a huge increase in share price and volume. Doesn’t take too much to understand why.
Sorry but really do call bullshit on this statement. Languishing at .07-.08 until a couple of days ago. If there was any real faith then you wouldn't see any spike followed by a significant drop off again. Let's see how long this one lasts shall we....
You know exactly what I mean. If this is just yet another temporary spike
I so hope this continues a strong positive rise in position. I just wonder what the explanation will be if this slips below the dime again in a few days time....
See my problem? I have been called a douche for daring to question the validity of VPLM. I trusted a friend and obviously did not do enough of my own DD, however I am not sure with even the best DD how one would have dug up that a fraudster was one of the main VPLM characters.
1. From the start Sunspottet had called scam with some compelling arguments
2. Inza has been linked to pinkie shams.
3. Kipping heavily involved with VPLM is apparently a fraudster. How does that simple fact give any confidence in VPLM and its BOD?
4. There is no recorded evidence anywhere that these patents are worth anything to anybody. I cannot get my head around the fact that if they were that foundational, they are not a secret, then there would be heavy purchases.
Could go on and on with all the other points made by NYT, Sunspotter, Beer etc but I think you will get my point and as Positive says with the price I paid I can only laugh and remain hopeful of a positive outcome.
Exactly what is the point in a "you must have the faith" only board? Never quite understood that one....life is about questioning not blind faith. Wish I had asked many more questions rather than relying on my "faith" in a friends advice and yes I admit it, good old human greed.
Is it though? That's what was said about LI. I believed the hype once and would love to again. A one day rise of a couple of cents does not give me that confidence.
Lmao! As a buyer at 0.29 plenty of time for me to keep complaining!!
So you believed and supported Kipping? Now he is the bad guy but everyone else involved with VPLM is A Ok? Amazing how lies and deceit can be swallowed is it not?
No one acts alone
Then you end up with worldphone.in operating on a Microsoft platform offering exactly what Digiphony could have done? None of it makes sense....
Apparently the infringement letters that Mr Inza insisted had been sent were in fact just more a mail shot saying hello and we own some patents that you maybe interested in.....
What the company has stated? They have not stated much at all in several months. Therefore much of the information becomes very subjective. However if you go back over the communications the talk was very specific around infringement letters and very specific in that Sir Inza had verbally confirmed that infringement letters had been sent out. You it would seem would rather suggest that they were not infringement letters but instead mail shots letting potential investors know that VPLM owns a few patents that they hope may have some value?
Infringement letters. Someone on this MB spoke to Sir Inza a while ago and he verbally confirmed to them that letters of infingent were written up and put in the mail. These letters were allegedly as far as I understand it sent near the beginning of 2015. What would the "limitation" date for a reply be? A week, month, year? When should we expect to see the legal follow up to these letters, the ones Sir Inza allegedly swears were sent out? You can't send letters and then not do anything about a lack of reply. So surely we should get news very soon of the first company being due in court for infringing?
It's good to see that VPLMs counciel Ryan L Thomas thinks VPLM have a case. Would be rather worried if all those words read and Ryan expects to lose. Though I wonder what Locksmiths counciel thinks eh?
Personally as I have said before, I have mourned the loss of several thousand dollara, I have had my backside kicked black and blue by the missus, now I just sit, wait and watch. If it hits 0.00 it hits 0.00. If there ever was a miracle I would laugh my little socks off and apologize profusely to IBird for criticizing his faith....
In on it? Don't think so, they just would not care if it's a patent of any commercial value or not that they are stamping...
You understand software technology that well and you can determine that Google "need" VPLM patents to operate their systems?
VPLM best kept secret ever....
The most undeniable and direct fact there is in this sorry mess. If there was any intrinsic value what so ever then by now even without "insider" knowledge this stock should be steadily climbing as word got around. Instead it slowly but surely slides lower and the longs take comfort in a court case for fraud....
Do you know they did go out, do you know negotiations are going on, do you know that these parents have any practical and accepted application? Or is it all still faith?
If the system worked like this and if transfer rook place like this, then maybe you would need this patent?
