Actually I was very surprised HCAP announced the SAME dividend and just lost 50% value on the issue?
However most all companies will be reducing the dividend output. The worse this route becomes the lower they will go.
I agree run Forrest Run! That's what I am placing Put calendar spreads for now!
Center Coast Brookfield MLP & Infrastructure Fund (NYSE:CEN) declares $0.03/share monthly dividend, a -71.2% decrease from prior dividend of $0.1042.

So where do we go from here? Now that the whole world is taking a holiday from life just wait till next earnings season and the economic fall out is factored in? Could be a long dry spell for securities certainly won't see those recent highs in the 29,000's.

I don't think this is over yet?
I am trying to do the same thing by taking out PUT calendar spreads. I have had a few good days. CAT is funny even though I have a long Put and a short Put I have managed to trade them three times for profit and every time I bring the strike price down! Right now my strike on CAT is 75 and at that price I would probably take ownership.
Great way to make weekly income and pick up great dividend Blue chip. stocks. I am currently working with 9-10 stocks!
With the latest news of stopping traffic between US and Europe while having exceptions in the 2 countries Trump has golf courses did not bode well with the market.
Even though the market has dropped 20% since it's highs the Average investor has watched there holdings drop 50% or more regardless of what they own!
Even today with the FED announcing a HUGE Fed announces $500 billion in short-term bank funding. The market is still not happy.
Hard to say where we go from here?
Listen I watched this trade at 1.02 back in 2008 don't under estimate what is going on right now the world economy has come to a Halt.
This is not a good situation. Everybody who bought in the last 2 days are under water.
Todays news is very very bad. This is the second Wave and appears to be the next 2cd great depression unfolding in front of our eyes!
There is simply no where to run . Banks paying ZERO stocks crashing. Good luck trying to catch the falling knife!
After yesterdays news you ain't seen nothing yet. PUTs PUTs is the word of the day!
Hello Huston I think we have a problem!
It's official we are crash Landing...
Going to be a very ugly day looks like the second Great depression is upon us. No travel to and from Europe Sports events all cancelled. All Schools closed here in eastern Europe.
The Bear will take no Prisoners'!

WOW no travel to and from Europe. Now that will bring this world to a Halt!
Time to toss in the towel! Sad day for the markets going to be heavy losses.
You won't be seeing the highs we saw just 2 weeks ago for a very long time if ever?
Ya I got in RDS/B today think I will sell some PUT Premium at 23.5 strike on BP tomorrow and if it hits I take the assignment. That would give me 22.5 shares if not I would keep the one dollar premium.
either way works for me!
Getting Tempting!
Covanta Holds it's dividend!
Covanta (NYSE:CVA) declares $0.25/share quarterly dividend, in line with previous.
Forward yield 9.14%
Payable April 3; for shareholders of record March 27; ex-div March 26.
CVA dividend stands went from 6% to 9% because of this correction.

What makes you think they won't slash the dividend?
I also like CVX. I have sold PUT premium on all three of them currently. It's like getting a extra dividend! I also have a Put against them so if I have to get assigned and take ownership I am protected to the down side!
Right now the yields are fantastic BP and RDS are in pretty good shape to continue paying unlike OXY that just reduced there's from .72 down to .11.
There is going to be some cuts after this latest market hair cut?
RDS/B doesn't have the ADR Tax deducted from the dividend like RDS/A and BP.
RDS/B pays .94 a quarter I haven't held BP in some time isn't dividend
like .66?
Last time oil took a dive like this RDS/B went to paying the dividend in shares instead of cash to avoid reducing it!
If Oil continues to decline you can bet dividends will be cut. Nice little recovery today!
I prefer RDS/B over BP dividend as BP has a ADR Foreign tax taken out of the dividend.
Both are very attractive right now!
Just sold my June 7 dollar PUTs for the second time to reduce my cost basis! I feel a little naked so if this gets back towards 7 I will probably buy them back.
I also added some shares just under 6 so all is good for now but Don't trust anything about this market.
I have to feel with low energy cost it should help F. Cosumers get cheep gas and will buy more cars!
Our Buddy Warren Buffet has recently predicted that stocks could easily drop 50%.
You're going to see many top notch companies slash dividends. With these drops there is no other option.
I would think though that low energy prices will help many sectors and the Consumer as the price at the Pump drops!
This will change the drive to "Green " energy . As long as we have cheep oil we will just burn it!
Occidental Petroleum (OXY) - Get Report said it would cut its quarterly dividend payout 86% to 11 cents a share from 79 cents, effective in July, and would slash capital spending in the wake of the decline in oil prices.

This is just the start . I been trading for a long time and I remember trading OXY back in the late 80's early 90's for 16 dollars here we are in 2020 and it is now trading for 13.00.
This is shocking!
Just the start all issues will be following suit. Not a good time for dividend investing! Flight to quality will continue..
Occidental Petroleum slashed its quarterly dividend 86% to 11 cents a share from 79 cents and said it would reduce capital spending by about a third in the wake of the drop in oil prices.

Good , Listen Russia and the Sadia Arabia have plenty of fresh Oil reserves
to flood the market. They love when the rest of the world suffers!
The USA has to now Squeeze there oil out of sand and rocks and drill horizontally. Do you really think we can compete at 20 dollars a barrel?
Fact is they have us over the barrel!
I think with this issue you can kiss your money good buy? There is no way the dividend won't be cut! Glad my position was really small!
Saudi Ariba announced again today they will be Increasing production in April Forget Oil for now unless you want to dabble with the futures contracts when it hits the low 20's!
They all will be drooping IMH. Russia doesn't care in fact they like to inflict pain on it's competition. until their wells run dry they intend to just keep pumping!
There already talking about dividend reductions?
Big oil faces 'survival mode' payout strategies as prices dive
https://finance.yahoo.com/news/big-oil-faces-survival-mode-171029948.html
LONDON (Reuters) - An oil price plunge means the world's top energy companies will have to review promises to return billions to investors, either by slowing down share buybacks or reintroducing non-cash dividends, analysts said on Monday.
WOW is that Jugs? How could anyone not have a stop loss in place on a gain that size! Like Warren says :
The stock market is a device to transfer money from the greedy to the patient!
I'm afraid that is going to be everywhere across the board. This is going to be a full blow recession and crash. Cramer says it's been a great run though if that makes anyone feel better! LOL
It's Official we now have a new history making BLACK MONDAY. Cramer says it's been a Great Run! LOL
‘The collapse in oil and the collapse in yields are both unprecedented and exceed the chaos of 2007-2009.’
Cramer also said that, by the time the market closes, we could be waving goodbye to the bull market investors have enjoyed for more than a decade.
“I think that that’s certainly a realistic thing,” he said. “It’s been a great run.”
We have a meltdown. All circuts could end the day shut down.
Ugly History in the making 7% decline shut down for 15 minutes. 13% decline another 15 minutes 20% decline rap it up go home for the day!
First circuit triggered....

WOW the Bear is defiantly on the Prowl! At this rate of market decline we're going see dividend cuts for sure.
Anyone long is going feel the pain! Lets hope for better days ahead?
Not looking good. Could see the dividend cut if the trend continues! I have Puts but not enough since I added last week. Going be high premium now!
Ugly!
