The silence is most likely for one of the following 2 reasons:
1. Arne is making big moves in the background and he does not want you-know-who to know what he is doing.
2. Arne has something to hide.
Hopefully it's number 1.
Arne's integrity is not of any doubt to me. And I use to talk to Arne before this stalemate. It doesn't take a lot of smarts to know he is still working behind the scenes so there is no need for me specifcally to get in touch with him at this point in time. He needs to follow up on his promises though (communications to shareholders, etc), even if it just means saying "hello".
Don't know what you mean by "yes we do to account for the amount of money arne is asking for".
Regarding your comment "He needs to show that these companies are willing sign on with us and that they will be like a lime and syrie." - If Arne did not believe Limetruck / Syrei was good enough on their own why did he try middle of last year to get financing and continued / continues to try to get financing with these two entities alone. If these two companies alone (i.e. are not enough) is "part" of the reason that financing was not achieved and that new acquisitions would benefit us then he needs to come out and tell us that. If they were good enough on their own but he did not get fiancing because of the markets tanking (which has been his "sole" reasoning to date) then don't spend time trying to acquire other companies as it is not like he has an army working for him . Focus on fiancing.
I'm not saying nothing is wrong with the plan because I know its the only way - but going back to my first comment that started this conversation we need to primarily focus (all efforts) on getting financing using Limetruck / Syrei (if Limetruck / Syrei are as good as they are supposed to be) instead of diverting energy towards other acquisitions.
If they are as good as they say they are do we really need anybody else at this point in time? In my opinion, and if I was a financier, the more acquisitions AWYI say they have lined up without having any money on the books would start to look suspicious.
Man - that is the chicken and the egg syndrome. AWYI trying to convince financing companies to lend them money by showing them potential revenues for companies that "may or may not" eventually end up on their books - while at the same time trying to convince companies to let them acquire them with no money on their books. In this day-and-time and market conditions, a tough sell.
I'm not trying to be pessimistic as longs can attest that I have been here for a while and put a lot of effort into dissmenating DD for AWYI. But financiers did not lend money to AWYI before the bubble burst even with the Limetruck / Syrei acquisition "potential" (Arne said they were close to signing the term sheet in June but the financier backed out - the bubble didn't burst until October).
That's a pipe dream. We currently have no money to purchase Syrei / Limetruck (yes we do not officially own any of them for all of those who say we do). How can we think about new acquisitions?
It's no doubt that:
1. Arne is a good CEO.
2. Arne is a hard working CEO.
3. Arne has our best interest at heart.
However money talks! Right now even the more stable companies with a decent market cap and major collateral are having trouble getting finacing. Lending is frozen right now with little signs of thaw. AWYI will get financing, it just will not be soon. I hope I'm proven wrong with regards to timing.
My average is higher and I own a lot more shares. All I can do is hold.
If there is a chance it won't be until the credit market thaws (our only chance here is getting financing).
What game? Please explain?
What are you in West Texas talking about. Im my opinion, its obvious that you guys either work for PTCH or lost so much money on it (like I did) and trying to raise false expectations.
Just take your losses like everyone else did and move on because again in my opinion this company has been done for long time ago.
When was the last time you spoke with Arne?
I guess there is nothing wrong with playing the lotto. Going to get a ticket right now!!
C'mon Arne - can you say anything????????????????????
1,000,000 x .0001 = $100
The sad part about it is that I sold off one of my other stocks to go all in with AWYI. Soon after that stock gained 700% from my buy-in point.
My gamble but boy did that add insult to injury!!
From an overall prospective there is always a slight chance that this thing will work out (if it does it will not happen until banks begin lending again), but from my personal prospective this does not look good.
I have not talked to Arne in quite some time now.
Finito!
dEaR Mr. Geyetnur.
Plez huwwy an by thoz tocsik aset so bancs can stawt maken lones agane - hopely tu awyi!! mommy iz mad at dady!!
tanks.
lil's babe gul!!
Thanks!
It would be good to know the standing of Limetruck and Syrei with AWYI. I know I can call but a simple PR would be good.
I want it to do more than trade. I want sustained growth and a viable company.
Anyway it will not do anything until Arne gets money.
The fat lady has indeed sung!
Exactly - No plan "B". My skepticism is even to the point now-a-days where I'm not sure if AWYI even had a plan "A".
Unfortunately all those things in place mean nothing if there is no money to execute. It will remain a "pipe dream"!
The pitiful lack of communication and action by Arne is actually (in my opinion) the best communication to date - this tells me THIS THING IS MOST LIKELY DONE. Wish he would have been less communicative before I dropped my funds into AWYI!!
I've noticed that a lot of "longs" that were here have moved on!
Confidence in this one is almost obsolete.
I'm not sure either - my post was just a response to other posts on the board about telephone conversations, and if telephone conversations are valid, then we are not close to financing.
He may not "intentionally" wanted to go pink.
Just responding to comments by others on the board that Arne has mentioned (during telephone discussions) that "going pink" may be good with regards to "you-know-who".
If he did say that to others it shows me we are no closer to financing as he previously led us to think (light at the end of the tunnel, etc.). Why would he say something like that if we are close to financing?
Another take:
IF going "pink" is in the master plan to get rid of "you-know-who" that's fine, but this also tells me that we are not close to financing. If we were there would be no need to do this.
My opinion.
My opinion - we are going nowhere fast! And will continue to remain stagnant until credit markets thaw out which will not happen soon!!
Some of us can't help but stay tune.....
No worries Wooden.
Still have a little hope here but I have to admit it is fading very fast.
I played the gamble to hard - it is just bad timing for AWYI and anybody else for that matter to get financing. In these hard times lending institutions are holding on to assets very tight.
It will also be hard press for Arne to get financing with the SP at this level.
I'm here for the long run because I have no where to go - I cannot sell at this level and take the losses that I'm currently experiencing.
If it is any consolation I lost more than you. Wife is not happy!
Not going (can't go) anywhere (LOL)!!
No worries Caddy!
No worries.
Not sure how to do that - Caddy might be better for your request.

Arne Dunhem’s (Ariel Way president and CEO) vision is to become a multiservice multimedia company. His major plan includes the build-out of a nationwide Digital Signage Network (platform for companies to promote and advertise products and services while providing valuable information to targeted audiences as they shop, work and play in malls, stores and other strategic locations). To achieve his plan, Arne is attempting to build a one-stop-shop company for Digital Signage Advertising.
AWYI is in the process of acquiring:
•Syrei – A Swedish telecommunications company. Syrei will act as AWYI’s central hub to advance Arne’s digital signage network in Europe and Asia.
•Limetruck and LimeMedia – A Dallas, TX based company specializing in providing mobile advertising solutions to its clients and provides its services in approximately 40 locations nationwide. Ariel Way, Inc., through a newly formed wholly-owned subsidiary, Lime Truck Acquisition Corporation (“LTAC”, closed on the acquisition of both LimeTruck and LimeMedia, LLC. LTAC has been renamed LimeTruck (which is inclusive of the former LimeTruck and LimeMedia LLC organizations). An advertising agency function within the former LimeMedia, LLC organization was removed prior to the acquistion and formed into a new company called Lime Media Group, Inc. There is an advertising agreement between LimeTruck (now owned by AWYI) and Lime Media Group, Inc. such that the advertising agency of Lime Media Group has an exclusive obligation to first come to LimeTruck for any mobile advertising before they can go to any other mobile advertising company. In addition, contracts with new clients will also be with AWYI's LimeTruck, Inc. in addition to Lime Media Group.
•Mason Media Networks – A Washington, D.C. based turnkey digital signage company that specializes in providing digital signage solutions.
•A 10% stake in Facetime – A full-service new media agency that specializes in advertising, marketing and public relations campaigns VIA THE INTERNET, broadcast, print and other mediums.
AWYI also has MOU’s with:
•Mason Media Group – a Washington, D.C. based holding company that develop, produce, and provide technical services to the broadcast, cable, and film industry with a primary focus on Sports and Entertainment. MMG is also a provider of focused advertising, marketing, entertainment, and audiovisual content capitalizing on the New Media Revolution.
•Noventri – A Maryland based "one-stop- shop" company for digital signage turnkey solutions, which include consultation, technology, software, content creation and management.
So in summary, if AWYI’s plan succeeds, Arne will have the capability to provide and sell advertising space to companies at locations such as:
•Brick and Mortar Locations (malls, stores, etc.) via Arne’s proprietary Digital Signage Network that he plans to install (Mason Media Networks)
•"Internet to Pocket” Podcast Advertising (Mason Media Networks)
•On the Street (Limetruck)
•On the Internet (Facetime)
Also, by acquiring these profitable companies (with Digital Signage / advertising experience and affiliation), the plan is not only for AWYI to become a one-stop-shop digital signage provider as well as profitable but also for the profits to be re-invested into the build-out of AWYI’s nationwide (Arne's proprietary) digital signage network, thus easing the burden associated with financing.

3.Revenue for Syrei for 2008 is conservatively forecasted to be over $7 million with an EBITDA of about 10%. However, with new opportunities, our target would be to increase with over 50%.
4.February 2008 revenue for Syrei was approximately $670,000, which was the second highest ever monthly revenue for Syrei. February 2008 is only one month after Ariel Way acquired Syrei.
5.Syrei reported that its revenue during May 2008, the fourth month after Ariel Way's acquisition of Syrei, was the highest ever monthly revenue for Syrei. The May 2008 revenue was approximately $750,800. Syrei also reported a record net income of over $300,000 for the month.
6.Current Syrei clients include: Ericsson, Nokia, 3GIS, ABB, Orange, SonyEricsson, Swedbank, Tele2, TeliaSonera, TIM etc.
7. Huge potential and high possibility to retain these clients once acquired by AWYI not only for continued telecom consulting purposes but also for advertising on Arne’s proprietary Digital Signage Network.

This acquisition will put AWYI squarely in the digital signage business. All AWYI has to do is begin generating contracts with niche locations (malls, airports, etc) to begin installing its nationwide DSN network once this acquisition is finalized.
5.Another good point is that ALL display content programming and changes (associated with Arne’s planned DSN network) can be handled remotely out of MMN’s central hosting site for all of AWYI’s planned DSN locations (very cost effective).
6.Currently have a number of digital signage network projects in the design phase that will launch by the fall of 2008.
7.Can also install Business Television (BTV) networks. Definition of BTV: http://encyclopedia2.thefreedictionary.com/BTV. Arne’s previous successes include providing BTV services for one of the biggest banking groups in the United Kingdom with over 1,500 bank branch offices throughout the UK

Sounds like you broke even to me. Lucky you!

Maybe so.
I personally knew he had no money and chose to gamble on him getting financing.
However from a general prospective he should have done better in informing the masses.
