My guess is sampling the new products.
If I get a call much later than now, I probably won't be able to decipher it...LOL
Halcy, as I recall the gross sales are $1.2 mil.
If that's right, we paid 1 x sales which would be a very good price.
Coop,get your brush ready...eom
Ok boys, we have hit the resistance. Check the chart.

We need volume here to break through. A pr here would do wonders.
Jon
Ore, I bought a case of Grape TV from
Garnet Wines and Liquors out of New York. I got 6 bottles for $23.39 per bottle. Freight and insurance was $26.15 to Georgia. It came out to 27.75 per bottle which was roughly $5 cheaper than what the liquor stores charge here for a single bottle of the regular TV, which is all they sell...no flavors.

Cover PKG!!! Red Alert!!! eom
Ok Sneaky, I'm calling now.
Don't know how much good I can do, most of my buddies are all in.
I put that on there Ore.
Trying to help where I can.
Ok...after 12 Old Whiskey Rivers, I think I have it all figured out. After talking to Filo and Stinky Pinky tonight, I know now that our next major icon is....Foster Brooks. Brilliant!!! Who knows more about alcohol than this man...talk about your baby-boomer appeal. I'm all over it. No more Mr. Boston for me. It's Foliphant Brooks from noooooooooooooooow onb. I,m havinf a hard time tyoping now and acn't half see to correct it...hope you gusy can tresd this coded message. It's humogu...humongsu...it's big. The cc nezxt week will be ealry, Foster doesan't do weel in the veenings...straytuned
One of my buddies put the Trump video
on youtube yesterday.
Hey Sneak, why can't we just crank up the old Reingold plant and put a different name on the bottle? That's a lot of beer to package and distribute. I'm sure Kenny has an idea of who can handle the volume.
Johnnybean,
How do you know it's "baseless hyping"? Kid Rock has announced he is coming with his own beer. We make celebrity drinks. We have other icons. It seems to me that this is very possible. As far as "outlandish predictions fail(ing) to materialize", shouldn't we have some time frame in mind? If Kid Rock is announced this week or next, would that make you reconsider? I'm careful with what I say, because I've tasted crow before and it's not very tasty.
Someone posted awhile back the "Topless" meant
"unable to be topped" in the urban slang. It would be a variation of this definition I found at dictionary.com.
"So high as to appear to extend out of sight: the topless Alps."
In this case it has to do with quality, giving the target buyer the sense that there is nothing better. Don't underestimate the power of this name. We, on this board, are not the target audience.
Dr. Dre Chronic Cognac?
I thought I read Aftermath Cognac in many of the other releases.
Wonder why they didn't release this?

Too funny. I was looking for a hotel
near Billy's, within stumbling distance and found the Budget Inn. The comment posted said, "Stay away! This hotel should be torn down. It sits beside a noisy tavern."
Sneaky wants you to know we are slamming press everywhere!

Reuters finally draws the public to Drinks Americas having a stock that is associated with Dre and his products. Maybe now we'll start to see proper interest.
Rilo, did you see the link? eom
I was reading the posts here today and saw an
ad for FRS Energy Drink. Lance Armstrong is promoting it. This looks like something DKAM would do. Anyone know whose product this is?
http://partners.healthyenergy.com/?cid=748000510
I like the extra 2 weeks...
2 more weeks worth of sales for the current quarter, progress on the Dre products and new icon(s). This should make forward guidance even more enlightening. Another smooth move in my view...2 more weeks for the coil to tighten...2 more weeks to accumulate.
Rilo...I don't quite remember how much
advanced notice they have given before the last CC's. It seems like they gave at least 1 week before. We should get a pr on the date this week if the CC is next week, right?
Yak is already slang for Cognac
and Henn is slang for Hennessy. I just added Dre to what already exist. I guess it doesn't rally matter what they call it as long as they are calling for it.
How about Dre Yak?
Now that was funny Swan
Dre Henn is going to be huge. I'm predicting the slang name.
I like the fact that they aren't
slamming the bid with every purchase. Maybe the program has ended. We still don't have the volume to make me think that the break of the 50 DMA is a strong bullish indicator. It's more like the price has been here so long that the moving averages have dropped to meet it. I'm thinking our launch signal will be a high volume day that closes at or near the high of day. A break of the recent daily trend will start with a close over .29.
Of course, given the recent activity, I'd much rather see a day like this than what we are used to.
I saw it too Rilo with the "Flaunt
Your Taste" headline. That ad is different everytime I go there and can't get Hennessy to come back up. It appears to be a rolling advertisement with many different advertisers buying the space. It certainly shows that Hennessy is willing to pay to keep and grow their rap market customers. It also makes sense that they would want their product in Dre's bottles to continue to keep that share and grow it. I'm wondering if instant recognition would be gained by both names on the bottle. "Hennessy Aftermath" or "Aftermath by Hennessy"...Dre's VSOP. The slang term is "Henn". I don't see that working. "Dre Henn" sounds like a cross between a goose and a chicken.
I guess we'll know soon enough.
Looks like the hedge has more to go
500 hit the bid at .23 and they dropped the bid to .21. Seems like the market makers know they have more and want them as cheap as possible.
Here are some clips from the DME IR website
"DME Capital IR has established relationships with some of the world's most well-known and accomplished money managers. Our senior management and licensed brokers are true 'Wall Street' people with the background and contacts that cannot be matched by any investor relations firm in the world.
"Proprietary Databases:
- 51,256 money, fund and portfolio managers
- 76,238 stock brokers / financial analysts
- 162,000+ retail clients (individual investors)
We have amassed one of the largest databases of institutional and individual investors in the world. We have done so by working along side some of the most well-known investment banking firms, brokerage houses and hedge funds in the world.
relations firm in the world."
"Promote each one of our clients to at least 2,000 prospective investors (institutional and individual investors alike) every month. We use mail and telephone to provide our clients information to prospective investors.
Investor Relations is a 'contact sport' meaning we MUST contact as many prospective investors as possible on behalf of our clients.
"Provide our clients with detail reports (i.e., contacts, feedback, market summary of competitors and peer group/industry analysis)."
By my calculations, 5 months times "at least 2,000 investors every month" means that the first 10,000 contacted said "No thanks". Since I don't think this is possible, it leads me to believe that they have not yet even begun the campaign. The last service I quoted says their clients get detailed reports of what they do. In 5 months, Kenny would have at least one report if they report quarterly and 5 reports if they report monthly. I'd like to see one of those reports.
The DME hiring PR was on 1/22/08.
They were hired for their expertise. If in their opinion certain things needed to happen before the big push, they would advise to wait. You guys kill me, praising management one moment, then trashing them the next. This management team is a formidable group. They knew what DME could do before they hired them. In my opinion, they know what they are doing. DME has been involved 5 months. Who among us knows how long it should take to do it right? Who knows how long Red Chip was involved before the stock moved? I'm not looking for a Red Chip move here that dives back below where they started. I'd rather see a sustained upward trend that never looks back. My guess is that most here are way too impatient and had unrealistic time frames in mind.
OK Rilo...I did my homework
It was pretty easy. Who on the board would be connected with the likes of Hennessy? Marvin Traub, former CEO of Bloomingdales. Why? Hennessy is owned by LVMH, a luxury brand producer from France that he dealt with in the past. I googled Marvin Traub with Hennessy and then with LVMH. I quit after that. It was enough to see the pieces coming together and it helped me realize the quality of the guys on our team. I feel like a kid in line waiting to get on the highest, fastest roller coaster in the world.
Buckle up boys and girls!
I'm wondering what company has enough Cognac
on hand to fill the orders for Dre? According to what I'm reading it has to be aged a minimum of 2 years in oak barrels made from 60 to 100 year old oak trees from France. It also has to be made from French grapes from a defined region. I obviously don't realize how many barrels are stacked up aging right now somewhere in France. Can DKAM can produce something better or equal to these guys that have been doing this for nearly 300 years? The more I read, I'm hoping that Courvoisier or Hennessy is involved in the production.
As far as the manipulation, I think it will go on as long as the volume stays this low. We can thank management for the low volume. Projections were made concerning Trump that didn't pan out. Now, most people want to see dollars, orders and distribution in place before risking more here. When management can talk about what they have done instead of what they might do, we will be rewarded. I'm tired of seeing this low share price too, but thankful I had the opportunity to greatly reduce my average. Now, I'll wait.
IMO,
Jon
Philsdaddy, please post a link to that article.
I couldn't find it on Google and most of that article appears to have been written by Nanette.
Thanks,
Jon
If Dre Cognac is a huge hit,
will it put DKAM in a position with the new distributor to force them to carry all the products? Old Whiskey River is not in any store in my part of Georgia. I ordered a case out of New York last year for me and some friends to try. Willie sold out a show a few months ago here, but there's no place to buy his product. It would be nice if the distributor could say..."To get the Dre you have to buy the Willy".
Rilo, I read the post by Nanette
and my first instinct was that I have seen this kind of hype before with other stocks that didn't pan out. The interesting part to me has been the silence of the company and DME. Did DME ask them to hold off on news and the website to allow them to get the shares they wanted first? Don't you think Dre, Interscope and others, aware of what is about to happen, want shares? Would DME work with them to secure them? So far, I haven't seen any real pressure on the stock. The volume is too low. But, if half of what she posted is true we have an eruption coming. My questions should be answered shortly.
Jon
Hi everyone
I'm still here...added more at .21 earlier today. I read the board every day. Thanks Billy for taking the moderator spot. Thanks Rilo and Old Timer for all you guys do too. I think all the DD Rilo posted created this buying today. The volume is light so I'm figuring it's just us buying. When the volume increases and we cross .60, we will be on the way.
Jon
Old Whiskey River is featured in...
Toby Keith's song, "I'll Never Smoke Weed With Willie Again". 3 times they sing, "You can pour me an Old Whiskey River my friend, but I'll never smoke weed with Willie again". Hey, it's a start. This song will be a classic bar song for years. We just need to make sure the product is in the bar for patrons to order.

Just wait until Dr. Dre starts pumping his cognac.

Here's an updated chart.
I think we'd be doing better here, but this market wants to drag everything down. I'm planning to add more, but I want to see what support area holds first.
I started writing this 2 hours ago and work got in the way. We have hit the most important support area at .35/.36. IMO from here we go sideways and possibly drift lower until the big boys start buying again.

Hey Old Timer, what happened to our resistance lines?
.40 wasn't too tough. .55 tried to hold awhile today. Next is the 200 DMA which is now at .67. My guess is that the current buyers want many more shares than are waiting at the resistance points. I think we are due for a pullback of some sort soon. I'd like to see us touch the 200 at .67, then the .55 hold. Then it will be time to draw more lines!
http://stockcharts.com/h-sc/ui?s=DKAM&p=D&b=5&g=0&id=p07431496280&a=128749292&listNum=6
Jon
.40 not showing the resistance I expected
People don't seem anxious to sell here or they would be slamming the bid at .42. This may mean that we are in strong hands now.
