Finally OFF the Reg SHO list! We were listed 72 consecutive market days (from 01/19/2007 to 05/02/2007).

COO terminated, CTO terminated, CFO left...
I would like to know who is in charge of our operations in Mexico. Also, Bleckman needs to update the Corporate Governance part of Globetel's website (he has to delete a bunch of names).
Any guesses as to how many employees we still have? 5, 10, more?
crashman, same here. I own almost 4 million shares (cost basis 0.032) and will be buying more this week.
We are OFF the Reg SHO list! Not a great surprise given the recent funding deal...

I wrote several times to Bleckman and Khoury to clarify the current status of our German operations but received no replies from them.
This is the last Globetel's PR regarding Globetel Wireless Europe GmbH...
New President Named for GlobeTel Wireless Europe GmbH
FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. & BAD RAPPENAU, Germany--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 9, 2006--As part of the previously announced restructuring of its operations, GlobeTel Communications Corp. (OTC:GTEM) announced that Sigwald Leder was named President of GlobeTel Wireless Europe GmbH (GTWE), a subsidiary of the Company's GlobeTel Wireless division. Mr. Leder replaces Klaus Bonn, who left the Company on October 31.
Currently, Mr. Leder is evaluating the projects under GTWE's management, including the current state of the Heilbronn network, and will make recommendations to GlobeTel management regarding future strategies and actions.
Peter Khoury, Chief Executive Officer, "Similar to the restructuring of other units within GlobeTel, the changes made within GTWE reflect our desire for increased efficiency, and to give us a stronger base of operations in Europe. Our changes within GTWE have been solely managerial in nature, and we look forward to continuing the operation of GTWE in Germany. I have the utmost of confidence in Siggy's capabilities, and believe his leadership will be valuable moving ahead."
investology, if my notes are correct we are close to 760 million O/S. This year MOBL issued 116 million shares to Cornell!
Mickey10305, I'm not sure if E-Trade's data are current and/or correct. It says Cornell has 8,776,388 shares and the total value is $1,755,278. So, they use 20 cents a share to calculate the total value.

jmalroy, Jay mentioned at the CC that something would be forthcoming within 6-12 weeks, not 6-8 weeks. We discussed that here a few weeks ago.
I bought 320,000 at 0.0255 today.
jbwins, I think MOBL has around 750 million O/S with the recent dilution.
News - MobilePro to Pursue Strategic Alternatives
April 16, 2007 /PRNewswire-FirstCall via COMTEX/ -- MobilePro Corp. (MOBL), an integrated telecommunications company, announced today that the company's board of directors has decided to explore potential strategic alternatives for the company in order to maximize shareholder value. The company also announced that it has recently received inquiries from potential strategic partners regarding parts of the company's business. "Given the recent trend in our public valuation and the recent inquiries from potential strategic partners, it is my belief that we would best fulfill our fiduciary duty to our public stockholders by pursuing strategic alternatives for the parts of our business and/or the whole," said Jay Wright, Chairman and CEO of MobilePro. "We will, therefore, actively pursue a process with the goal of maximizing the value of our assets, eliminating our debt and returning value to our equity holders. This process will supplement our efforts with BB&T Capital Markets with respect to our Kite Networks subsidiary and the pending merger of our ProGames subsidiary with Winning Edge International, Inc. (WNED), both of which we have previously announced."

I found 7 relevant 8-K forms in 2007. MOBL issued around 78 million shares to Cornell to repay $3.25 million of principal and interest. I'm not sure what is the total original amount owed to Cornell. Is it $22 million ($15 + $7 million)?
I'm adding to my MOBL position on a weekly basis. Currently holding 2.1 million shares (cost basis around 4 cents). I will be selling my shares when we reach 20-30 cents range in the next 6 months (IMO).
I remember patiently holding former dogs like IDEV, DCEL, BRCD a few years ago. 90% of message board posters were complaining big time, bashing the company and CEO, blaming shorts, hegde funds. And look at these companies today...
It's common for financial markets to overshoot to the upside as well as to the downside. I believe MOBL was overvalued in 2005 trading at 40 cents. And I strongly believe MOBL is way undervalued today trading at 3 cents.

Can't you read?
From the PR: Under terms of the agreement, initial working capital HAS BEEN INFUSED into No Mas Cables de Mexico, with each partner's contribution proportional to their ownership stake in the joint venture. The initial working capital will be used to continue construction of wireless networks using GlobeTel's products and intellectual property. This amount is consistent with the preliminary business plan and financial model structured and agreed upon by both partners.
Then listen again and focus on the Q&A part.
JimProfit, this is your post from March 29: 'yep, i'm still waiting for the bankcruptcy filing of GTWE in germany to show up on that webpage.. according to the german guy, who has a lot of credibility imo, they filed yesterday and it should show up on monday or sooner...'
Any updates?
deldestino, 'The CEO mentions an IPO without giving a time line for completion.'
Jay mentioned 4-12 weeks on the conference call on February 13.
runandadd, I have to agree with you. Bad news continues. CFO left us, Independent board members left (so we have no Audit Committee), Independent Auditors left. Who is next to leave? Also, it seems Germany is dead. We sold (or, should I say, gave away) Magic Money. What is next to be sold? Or, what's left? I'm really worried about Globetel's future and my money invested in the company!
nerd86, I don't know about a conspiracy against GTEM, but the numbers in my post (75% of total trading days ON the SHO list) speak volumes about the position of individual investors vs. MMs, hedge funds and other big players.
I guess I can only dream about the SEC actually taking some action regarding naked shorting of GTEM...

Our Chairman says we are moving deeper into our business plan. Well, I would really like to hear what is our business plan at the moment...
Interesting. If MOBL has close to 700 million O/S (with recenet dilution), at least 3.5 million 'naked' shares are needed to put us on the naked short list.
Is it possible that OTCBB data take into account only 'legal' shorts?
MOBL still on the naked short list. Listed 37 consecutive market days. On list as of 01/19/2007 through 03/13/2007.
The amount of such funding shall be set forth in the
Initial Plan, the initial draft of which is attached hereto as Schedule 2.2...
Anyone able to find Schedule 2.2 (the Initial Plan)?
From 8-K:
As a condition of the Acquisition, Winning Edge will complete a 1 for 30 reverse split of its issued and outstanding shares of common stock reducing the issued and outstanding shares of common stock from 124,849,845 to 4,161,662. Upon closing of the merger, Winning Edge will issue an aggregate of 34,129,823 post reverse split shares of common stock to the shareholders of ProGames Network, Inc. After the merger, shareholders of ProGames Network, Inc. will own more than 85% of the issued and outstanding common stock of Winning Edge.
The Acquisition is subject to closing conditions including restructuring Winning Edge’s current debt, issuance of Series B Preferred Stock to Winning Edge Shareholders, and the completion of $2,200,000 in financing. The majority shareholders of both Winning Edge and ProGames have approved the merger agreement and subject to the closing conditions set forth in the Agreement, consented to the transaction. If the parties are unable to close the Agreement by May 18, 2006, either party may terminate the Agreement. The Agreement may also be terminated by consent of either party with a $250,000 liquidating damage payment to the non-terminating party.
WNED 8-K out. eom
WNED up 88%. Market Cap almost $3 million. Bought more MOBL today.
Winning Edge (WNED) up 67%, currently trading at 2 cents. Market Cap $2.5 million. 80% of $2.5 million = $2 million. Is this the current market value of ProGames?
We are ON the naked short list again (as of March 5, 2007)!

I guess, that's the only way to stop the share price from going up...
This 8K is a joke. eom
Danielle, thank you very much for sharing Rob's email re Dr. Muntz with us.
I regret that Rob hasn't answered my email on that topic (and I read that DonG asked similar question and hasn't received a response yet).
In any case, would like to see the updated Corporate Governance part of the website as soon as possible.
Question re Dr. Alice H. Muntz, Ph.D.
Globetel's PR: FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 20, 2006--GlobeTel Communications Corp. (OTC: GTEM) is pleased to announce the addition of Dr. Alice H. Muntz, Ph.D. to its Board of Directors...
From Globetel's website:
Board of Directors
Przemyslaw L. Kostro, Chairman
Peter A. Khoury, Director & Chief Executive Officer
Jonathan Leinwand, Director & General Counsel
Michael Castellano, Director
Patrick D. Heyn, Director
Why still no mention of Dr. Muntz on the BoD list?
coastiretired, interesting info. What's your take on the outcome of the SEC investigation and Globetel's future? I'm heavily long GTEM (currently almost 600K shares and adding on a weekly basis) but like to hear both (positive and negative) sides.
crashman, I think that means at least 3 million shares, not 30 million shares, because 3 million is approx. 0.5% of MOBL O/S.
Crashman, this guy cam_66 is one of the most pathetic bashers around. He also tried to bash GTEM but moderators delete his posts all the time. He used to own a bunch of PGSW (or PGWC) and lost a lot of $$$ on that one. Now he is bashing PGSW on I-Village board. I have him on ignore. You should do the same.
