I really had no clue what I was doing when I got into trading ninety days ago. When I think about how much money I have lost I could easily be admitted to a critical care unit. I could be the poster child on how to lose your butt in the stock market. Right now my trading account is down to 34 cents...is there anywhere I can make a million on that? Everyday I read the boards and people tell me how much money they are making and I just feel dumber than dumb.
I was able to average down to 1.77 but am out of funds..LOL. Can't get it any lower. I think I will hold out a few more days and see which direction this is going to go. 70 sounds like a sound number to watch. The CEO did say the next step was a partnership...that was in his CC address. I am thinking (don't put much stock in my thinking at this point) that might be the reason they hired Trilogy. They too sound like a professional IR company and they do have some good experience in M&A. The bio's of some of the executives verifies this. I also discussed that with Astra and she confirmed that they do not only on a national level but international. Maybe we just need to give it some time and see what partnerships might arise?
Yes ACTC!
Probably because there are people like me that buy at the wrong time...LOL. Did you sell lady or are you holding?
I'm hoping you are right. Besides this isn't an ordinary penny stock. I did buy high..my fault for listening to someones hype. Still it was my fault I did it. I don't claim to be a genius in the stock market just an everyday person that would like to make a sound investment. The CEO did say the next step was a partnership and that they needed that to go to the development stage. He of all people should know what the next step is..I would hope! I am sure that Trilogy will play a role in this process or why hire them? Trilogy does have a track record with M&A. If you check the bio's on the executive staff they seem to have a lot of experience in that area.
Serfy get me some too because I have Ameritrade and can't buy...would love you so much if you could help me out...LOL.
Still what you are saying is "after the fact" and it doesn't help matters. I have two choices sell and lose my money for SURE or hold and wait for it to come back. The saving grace here is this isn't an ordinary penny stock. I do believe in STEM CELL research and I do believe what Dr. Lanza has accomplished is a wonderful advancement in this process. Hiring Trilogy to me was a good sign and I do think IMO that they will have a partnership in the future. The CEO said that was the next step. Also the deal with WI CEll sounds promising. I am originally from Wisconsin and I know they are very aggressive with their medical research. It was the UW research department that discovered blood thinner which has saved many lifes. They get a lot of state funding and support for medical science.
It's OK I think that anyone that has a "I told you so" attitude like he does should just be quiet and go away. I just need a "hug" this morning not a smack in the head. I know I bought when the pps was too high and it was a mistake. My mistake was buying that high not that I bought the wrong stock.
Good morning Serfdom....Bluediamonds said now CSHD is going to open at $87.63. Maybe that is the magic answer?? This is getting too funny!
Aren't you the wise one telling me after the fact that I made a bad decision. I could have figured that one out without a hero telling me so over and over. If you want to be the hero of the day let me know and I will send you my address and you can send me a check for what I am down. I will look up to you forever....I promise.
The pps may be down but I still believe in the company, I still believe what they have accomplished is GREAT and at some point it will come back. That's not pumping I just happen to believe in stem cell research. I agree I should have gotten in at a lower pps but I didn't and can't take that back now. The question isn't should I have gotten in or not it is when I got in that was the problem. Now in the meantime feel free to send me a check and it will make sitting and waiting for this to go back up much more pleasant.
I did the same thing...listened to someone I thought was respected and knew what they were doing...they said buy at 2.25 and actually they were selling at 2.25. I was able to average down to 1.77. Like you I blame myself I pushed the buttons. Wish this thing would start north!
Believe me I wish I wasn't there either. I have nightmares over that moment of insanity. I keep thinking I will wake up and get "overs" so I can do it right...LOL
If I pulled it out I doubt I would find a 10 bagger...seems I have this whole game all mixed up. I buy high, sell low and lose more money than I can afford to. With my luck I would just find another loser and be cleaned out for good. My fault...my own fault. CSHD was a con job this one I did all by myself.
I have more money in there than I can afford to lose so my only hope is a miracle takes place and it gets back to 1.77 at least. Right now I would be happy to just reciver my original investment.
When it got to 1.90 I was going to sell and take my loss but some dear smart azz from the message board on CSHD called and said no, no don't sell it is coming back up. Now I am too far in the hole to sell. I hope it recovers soon so I can get all or even most of my money back. I depleted my account on that investment so am stuck big time! I had a great case of the "dumbies" that morning.
I wish you would have stopped me I guess I woke up with a suicide mentality that morning?? I still can't believe I did that?
We need to meet I did the same thing LOL....I am still in shock over what I did. I can't believe how much trouble I got into with one lousy phone call?? If ACTC doesn't come up I am totally in trouble. I was able to average down to $1.77 and now am stuck unless it pulls out. What do you think our chances are???
Even if they are this is just a convenient excuse for old RPH to get around what he promised in the first place. Did you see his later announcement today stating the "merger is complete" didn't you say he had to file a S-4 before that could happen or since it is RPH does he just put out a PR?
I wish they would have stopped me from buying CSHD...my brain wasn't engaged either. Guess we all have a lapse from time to time. Since Rufus doesn't have bonds anymore (if he ever did) maybe this is his last hope to get the pps up and save face??
Last night I listened in on a recorded conversation I think it was that radio station mn1...they called Ameritrade to see why certain stocks were on a list you couldn't buy....Ameritrade told the caller they put certain stocks on a "suspicous" list and do sometimes close down buy orders for them. They were rather vague what "suspicous" meant but they said because of unusual trading taking place.
This is has got to be another stall tactic...this is outrageous. Does he really think logical people will buy this theory? Bankrupt Ameritrade...get real! He must be smoking something mightly powerful.
Has he lost his mind???
Do you have a link for it..??
Hey Serf whats this about a PR from CSHD and Ameritrade?? Did I miss something. I wasn't home today...
Thanks steelcat..I can't average down..out of funds. I am hoping we get a great PR maybe about a partnership and up this will go. I won't sell in the RED that's for sure. Just watching for good news.
On CSHD all you have is the pumpers left...this one was a new poster I hadn't seen before.

I have been watching this board and researching cshd for the past 3 months and to be honest with everyone this is the most exciting thing I think I have ever been in.I bought fhal for .10 back when the company was still furia.I talked to mike alexander personally for about 30 minutes before i bought into his company. This man was very concere and showed alot of integrity, something most people lack now a days.He convince me to buy.Buying in so cheap I have made my return over and over yet I will hold my shares for a little while longer. One thing I have learned from this whole experience is that this stock is only for those who have strong faith and patience.I have told everyone I know that I would love to see make a ton of money on this because I feel like this is the opportunity of a lifetime to become very wealthy and to be able to give to others that are not so fortunate...So what I am getting at is buy as muh of this as you can if you believe and do good with the money you make.i hope everyone learns something from this..
Yes I told you I got in ACTC at a high average and can't escape. Tell me is there any hope for me?
Good evening Sefdom how was your day?? Are all the stock problmes solved??
Serfdom why did they put you in jail?? Are they nuts??
OT I didn't watch it but it doesn't surprise me. Texas hasn't had any good teams since Bum Phillips left...and that was a long time ago. I've never kept up with college football so am lost there.
Happy Birthday...hope you get a nice present like a big raise in the pps of ACTC.
Here's an interesting article....
Remember polio?
It was forced back into my memory the other day as I got vaccinated for an upcoming trip abroad. Polio is one of the illnesses I'll need protection against.
Though it's been half a century since the United States faced an epidemic of that crippling virus, parts of the developing world are still susceptible: Worldwide, 815 cases of polio were recorded this month.
The difference, of course, is access to the revolutionary vaccine developed by Jonas Salk in 1955. In countries where vaccinations are routine, the illness has been eradicated.
It's unlikely that incredible breakthrough could take place in America today.
At the height of the epidemic in 1952, polio infected nearly 60,000 people. It stole the use of President Franklin D. Roosevelt's legs, and left actress Mia Farrow in an iron lung for a year. Then came the culmination of years of research, and by 1979, widespread use of the vaccine had eradicated polio in the United States.
Why bring up that old news now? Because what you may not know about the polio vaccine is that it was developed using human fetal tissue.
With his veto, President Bush recently banned federally funded medical research that uses not even fetal tissue but simply stem cells drawn from frozen embryos that will otherwise be discarded.
I wonder if Bush thinks the polio vaccine was a bad idea.
The vaccine is made from the actual virus, which had to be grown in large quantities. Medical researchers at the Rockefeller Institute discovered in 1936 that they could grow the virus quickly in embryonic brain tissue. By 1948, three other researchers, John Enders, Thomas Weller and Frederick Robbins, using embryonic skin and muscle tissue, were able to prove that the polio virus could infect tissue other than nerve cells.
That discovery doesn't appear to have generated picketing and presidential bans. Instead, it earned the trio the 1945 Nobel Prize.
There's an exhibit at the Smithsonian museum in Washington, D.C., called "Whatever Happened to Polio?" A friend of mine who visited it described pictures of long lines of people around the United States waiting for their vaccinations. There was even one from The Des Moines Register in the early 1950s, showing "a man in his farmer overalls standing on a ladder to peek in at his child in a Des Moines polio isolation ward."
That was the face of the tragedy to which tens of thousands of Americans were condemned, and some people in developing countries still are consigned because of a lack of access to the vaccine.
Hundreds of thousands of other people continue to have their lives disfigured or cut short because of spinal-cord injuries and neurological diseases. And the stem-cell surgery that continues to be their primary source of hope has been blocked by the U.S. government.
"I wondered if the polio vaccine could have developed in the current political climate," wrote my friend after visiting the exhibit.
I think we already know the answer to that.
Most of us have learned to regard the polio vaccine as one of the most pivotal discoveries of the 20th century. Imagine if the same kind of momentum and resolve were being used today to eradicate Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, multiple sclerosis and other incurable illnesses. I don't know what new medical breakthroughs might be chronicled in the museums 50 years from now. But I can't imagine history judging our current inaction too kindly.

I think it is more of a religious issue than government but that too shall pass. The Catholic religion is strong in there attitude but my guess is most Catholics got the polio shot and made sure their kids got it. The basis for the polio shot was the fetus. I have a lot of friends that are Catholic and in spite of what the Vatican says they still support stem cell. It's no different than me being a Republican but I don't agree with Bush on this issue. In the end science will advance and the funding will be there.
My personal opinion is they try any avenue possible for funding. Then if they are rejected they have a back-up plan. The CEO said that the funding possiblities was one of the reasons they opened the California branch. He also said they were looking for partnerships and that they had several interested so that sounded good.
I'm Republican but I am DO NOT AGREE with Bush on this issue. I personally think it should be funded but if it doesn't get Federal funding I have no doubt it will get state or private funding. One way or another stem cell research will move forward. I'm a two time cancer patient and I know that feeling of desparation when you think there is no hope. Miracles can be performed with stem cell research and I hope to see them in my life time.
I think we will have some posters here "bashing" not because there is anything wrong with the company or the stock the problem really is their own personal belief about stem cell research will ignite them. One way or another science will pervail and stem cell research will advance. As far as the government anytime someone is appointed that needs congressional approval they do the same as they did to Dr. Lanza...rip them apart then approve them. I guess they think they are impressing the public with how tough they are which really just makes them look bad. Smart people aren't impressed with those tactics.
Thank you Mr. Capital...you got my vote!
Thank you...:)
So you are telling me one bad stock and that applies to the rest of the market. There is no comparing CSHD with ACTC. I suppose you are one of those great minds that only picks the winners. Never had a loser...must be nice to be so efficient and brillant.
The poster I responded to had stated in pior posting that he/she didn't believe in stem cell research. What I said did not apply in general to anyone that had an opinion on the stock. Many people did buy in over $2.00 so why rub it in their face that their account is down or that they lost money if they sold. Is there some kind of glory in after the fact knowledge?
