My conclusions were based on meticulous observations of mm's activity: price, volume, speads, etc.,combined with specifically placing numerous daily buys and sells to see how they were handled, added to 40 years of full time professional trading experience.
I also judiciously sold my "trading" shares in the .039 vicinity, for reasons apparently different than you, and that was a substantial numer of shares. I'm certain that just what you and I sold accounted for the RETAIL sale of millions of shares.
I did not intend to convey a holier than thou attitude, there is more that I don't know, than I do know, regarding the stock market. I will not go into the details, but I KNOW my prior post was accurate.
Have a good day!
"coy"
A clarification for your edification!
In your post # 17345, dated today, you wrote:
" Remember about two weeks ago when the stock moved up every day for about a week and it looked phoney? Market makers were shorting the stock each and every step of the way. When you see that I believe there was a plan to take it down hard on the increase of shares news."
I KNOW that your belief does NOT coincide with the facts; which follow:
1.MM's did not short heavily on the way up to .04 The tortoise-like, methodical structure of the advance did NOT necessitate heavy shorting and it did NOT occur!
2. A decline from .04 to .03 terminated last Thursday, obviously preceeding yesterdays decline. That decline did not contains any significant elements of MM manipulation. Furthermore, the bounce off .03 exemplied extraordinarily, " pure" trading based on retail supply and demand. As retail buying pressure increased moderatley in the late afternoon, the bid/ask quickly jumped to .034X.036 by 3:43. If the MM were heavily short they would have "sat" on the ask and not let the stock price advance.
3. Yesterday price decline had NOTHING to do with some sinister MM plan. Right after monkeyfrogs' post there was an avalanche of selling. I guarantee you most of it was retail.
It looked like about 98% of the sells were at the bid. Because trading was so lopsided, and the MM's were not heavily short, they had no choice but to build up a sizeable inventory for themselves since they couldn't sell for a profit yesterday. Once selling abated somewhat today and even a modicum of buying appeared, it was almost a given we would move UP because the MM's needed higher prices in order to profitably sell the shares that were "dumped" on them. Even before the end of the day pop, which began with me "taking out" the .03 ask beginning at 3:25, the MM's had already sold millions of shares today for more than they bought them for yesterday! Obviously, if MM's had been heavily short( which I will reiterate they weren't) their buys yesterday afternoon would have been used to cover and they would have had no incentive to see higher prices today!
Why the slow trading today? Georgeous weather in NY , forecast is for hot weekend. Powerful wall street gang, as they wrap up their options expiration business, are leaving work early to get to the Hamptons and NJ shore before the Long Island Expressway and Garden State Parkway traffic becomes intolerable!
coy,
You wrote, "There is a 900 pound gorilla guarding the door..."
Can't resist informing you; figuratively, your
comment is astonishingly accurate regarding today's price action of PBLS. As the share price neared .03 this morning, I placed an order to buy 9 million shares!
Don't ask me any questions, I have a rigorous workout scheduled : need to shed some pounds before returning to the zoo!
O.T.
"chucker"
I do not own, nor have I ever owned shares in the stock you mentioned. Furthermore, I do NOT know anything about that company. In general, a cautious approach to pinksheet listed companies is a wise one. Minimize emotionalism, maximize rationalism. I'm in the camp that TA, even when applied to "pinkies" is useful. There is no one miracle, analytical tool, but the best is probably experience!
Good luck.
mthead,
I am intrigued by your emphatic intolerance of, and vehement disdain for, statements that are not factual. By the way, you stated that, " More people have lost money with this stock than have made money." You are very fortunate to have access to an "unbelievable" database. Please accurately quantify for the board EXACTLY many people have had a net loss with PBLS and how many have had a net gain. I know for a FACT what category I would be included in. Amazing that I and every other former and present shareholder's net regarding PBLS has been properly tabulated. I wonder if you were counted as a plus or as a negative.
"Cutting", don't worry about tipping your buying hand here. After reading your post, I guarantee you, on one knows what you are doing!
P.S. Good news. The nasty, hideous, constipated, old fart with ED ( not referring to you Asus- you aren't old) who has been overtly knocking down the bid, each of the last two days during the last 5 minutes of trading, was absent today. Those mirror-image maneuvers on Tuesday and Wednesday were classic examples of stock price manipulation !
What an intriguing game!
PAGING PAUL! PAGING PAUL! PLEASE REPORT TO THE PURCHASING
DEPARTMENT!
Low volume this am : in part because I didn't buy any this morning, and obviously company didn't either since volume was only 215,029 at 11:31 a.m. PAGING PAUL! CAN YOU PLEASE REPORT TO THE PURCHASE WINDOW !
Assessing the stocks seemingly lifeless plight up until noon, I deemed it necessary to employ my AED (automatic external defibrillator). The two electrodes, each loaded with 250,000 share orders to buy were applied to the patient. Results: resuscitation of patient's volume, with elctrical charge still remainng.
I could have erred in the tactics used. I am human, and I have make mistakes before- I just can't remember when!
Humbly yours!
Asus,
My policy is to not PM or e mail anyone, on any message board, regardless how much they impress me, or what "private" information they wish to share with me.
I strictly adhere to that rule.
Regarding any of my prior post, anywhere, none of them are bound by a tangled web. ( Sir Walter Scott wrote " O, what a tangled web we weave, when first we practice to deceive. ")
Have a good evening!
Asus,
Pleased you accepted the comment within the light-hearted context in which it was intended !
It might be safer for you to be in Cuba or Venezuela than to be moderator here !
Looks like hurricane season started a few weeks early this year. Don't think "monkeyfrog" is as pernicious as some might think. In any event, he nor any other poster to this board (other than myself) is so omnipotent that what they write will substantially move the stock up or down.
Fluff and corporate BS from this company in the past, cast a far reaching stench. Finally, there is increasing evidence that the refreshing wind of meaningful transformation is blowing through corporate headquarters.
If there are any sellers reading this, I urge you to sell tomorrow. I just added 1,952,000 shares to my portfolio and my last fill today was a partial. I'd like to get my total up to where I want it tomorrow at your expense. Thank you for your cooperation.
P.S. Asus, how did your meeting with Castro and Chavez go?
"tedwitt", I applaud your mental acuity! Your posts are thoughtful and command respect. They are a reflection of a strong-willed, determined, investigatory personality. You
unquestionably belong on the asset side of the posting ledger.
I see it : The rectangular box, immediately under the boldly printed letters PBLS, contains 57 numerical digits, 26 of which are 0's. This means that PBLS's action today defied the
random walk theory. I'm relieved. Thank you pnew.
From the slide rule generation, for your great computer organizational skills pnew, I honor you with the highest award: 5 bones ! Congratulations!
Does anyone have some friends who will buy a billions shares of PBLS in the next few days, so we can move up to .0265.
I'm sitting on x,xxx, xxx number of shares and I think my buttock is getting moldy.
OT Gold, I want to respond to you, but not distact from those who want to focus on FLST. Although cautious is a very subjective word, in general terms, your cautious approach to the market is a wise one. The market can be, and usually is, humbling. It is a game of probability. You need a systhesis of "tools" that can help you evaluate the odds of you winning. When you are wrong, you need to cut your losses. Taking a loss is one of the most difficult things to do, and everyone has them. I rarely post anywhere and don't do too much with penny stocks. Have watched NDOL:it got overextended today. Ran too much over top of bollingers. Caution usually needed when stock runs to a rally high and closes down on day. NDOL needs a little rest. Re: AURC, I actually rolled the dice on that and posted on that board a few times. I bought recently under .10 and added a substantial amount of stock as it went UP. I took some profit on AURC yesterday afternoon when it hit .23 and also sold at .23 today. Sell orders today were placed at the ask(.23) and another above ask to see how orders were handled. Still own some. Playing with house money. Might buy more on breakout. Very important to make logic your guide in decision making, not emotion. Good luck!
If you wonder: Who would sell now, and why - I can answer for myself. I bought modestly, in the .03's with "gambling " money. I was leary about the buyout, but said stock will at least bounce. I sold into the run up yesterday afternoon and finished selling at .042 early this morning. In fact almost all of the first hour trades were mine. I have no inside information. I sold for 5 reasons. One: I called the company and received no response and I knew that also happened to others. Two: I have been trading full time for 40 years and can't recall when a stock was trading less than 50% of an all cash, buyout offer ,favored by management with a vote less than two weeks away. Three: I didn't like the deteriorating pattern of the RSI. Four: I receive all proxy materials electronically and I had received NO proxy material as of this morning. Five: I had a good percentage profit in a short period of time - so I took it. I don't know what will happen in the next two wekks, but it should be interesting. I'll watch from the sidelines and will neither gloat nor groan. To those who stay long, I sincerely hope you do well!
I'm one of the big ones: size 48 waist, and I'm still holding mine!
Just talked to a friend; he has the dope on what is going on. He said financials were sent, but to FEMA not SEC. Seems like there was a translation glitch and company thought FEMA was Federal Emergent Microcap Agency. FEMA already received the paperwork and informed company that there must have been some confusion, but that FEMA would come to the rescue of the shareholders by forwarding the financials to the appropriate governing body as soon as they could find the misplaced documents and as soon as they could find someone who knew where to forward them to. In the meantime, FEMA sent CEO a bottle of vodka and told him he could put it on the balance sheet as goodwill. My friend has a rush'n comrade who did get a glimpse of the financials before they were sent to FEMA. MY friend said that upon seeing the numbers his comrade sold his stock in AURC faster than it took Khrushchev to pound his fist on a desk at the UN. My friend had a lot more he wanted to relay to me, but said he had to go. He was going to have lunch with the Easter bunny and then bring leftovers to feed Sasquatch!
penny, just your normal "freaky", flesh pressing, gut puking, rowdy, raucous, delirious, New York, New Year's Eve throng!
P.S. How would you like to be a CEO involved in negotiating important corporate issues and have some of the whiners here
interrupt you with a phone call. They whine more than a self- centered, egotistical teenage girl does when she has a bad hair day during her period!
Prosperity, for the golden years!
If I were Parkin, at this point in time, here is what I would say the next time a shareholder calls:
1. Thank you for your interest in Aurus.
2. My priority is to focus my attention on developing the assets of our company. This will result in maximizing shareholder value.
3. If you, or other shareholders have any questions regarding Aurus, e-mail them to me. When time permits, the answers that I can legally give will appear in a FAQ section of our website, when the site becomes operational.
4. Any pertinent corporate developments will be announced to ALL shareholders via press releases.
5. I am very confident about the future of this company.
Have a great day!
--------------------------------------------------------------
Footnote: I have enough of shares in this company to hand one out to everyone in Times Square on New Year's Eve. Don't develop ADD watching every tick. I believe we have the Au and the Ag and its value will be manifested in a higher stock price down the road. Good luck to all longs!
Air, no doubt that some shareholders are selling, but also no doubt that MM's long inventory today was light and that they initiated some short sells, especially earlier in day. That is basically their standard operating procedure on a sizeable run up. I'm not big into conspiracy theories, but I have made 7 trades on this stock today and I watched very closely what did and didn't happen. I certainly don't have all the answers, but I have been doing this full time for nearly 40 years.
Hope you do well, here and elsewhwere!
2 create, I agree with your analysis of trading "misrepresentation". For example, I got a partial fill on a BUY at .1125 a short time ago. Bid was .11, ask .12 at time of transaction. The volume and time of trade was correctly reported, but the trade was recorded as being exected at a price of .11, leading an observer to believe the trade was a sale at .11 !
Good luck.
If you buy more at .03 or higher we will close below .03, so
instead of hitting that buy button again, engage in an alternate activity : such as meditating on retiring from retirement!
I strongly suspected that there wasn't going to be another extension of the forbearance agreement and that an important announcement was imminent. I alluded to this in my last post by using the phrase " Bollinger Band's trumpeters". The key word was trumpeters and it was very meticulously chosen because it means: " one who proclaims or announces something loudly" - according to The American College Dictionary. At the time of that post, however, I did not know with certainty that the essence of the Feb. 20 proclamation was going to be WHAI declares Chapter 11.
I concur that calculating the ultimate net to shareholders at this time, without more specifics, is an excercise in guesstimating. What are "certain liabilites" ?; how many shares outstanding?;etc., etc.
What a surprise: Capital Source Finance providing the DIP financing. They would make great dairy farmers: they milk the cow until they have extracted the very last drop.
Think if the U.S.S. WHAI were going to wind up here, A&M would have been a better captain. That is water under the bridge now. Don't jump overboard, but man the lifeboats!
" POOOOF, you vanished ...."
How could that be? Jack just posted yesterday, and I am Jack, aren't I?
Are you listening very carefully to the music? The Bollinger Band's trumpeters are now featured as they march in a very tight formation.
Probing the flow of things. Will governmental agency lend their assistance? Stay tuned, if there are any positive developments.
I must have caught a case of Circusitis. ( Why has already been vaccinated to avoid that disease! )
Why,
As stated in a prior post of mine, I never posted on RB !
Quick answers to your quick test.
1. Who was "Theoracle"
A. That is Greek to me.
2. What was Newtothis's alias when she was posting under another name as if she was a new poster, and then used the excuse that she was using her husbands computer to explain the mix-up.
A. Confuseus
3. How does Stockrookies name appear when posted on RB ?
A. It appears the same to me as it does to you!
4. What was the name of A&M's top guy and who was his side-kick?
A. The Lone Ranger and Tonto
5. Exactly how much fog is required to cloud my ego?
A. 4,567,897,312,897 cubic feet
6. What was 69's nickname and sport as a youth growing up in Canada.
A. Camasuitsu Beaver hunting
7. What is your total sharecount as of 2/2/06?
A. If stock plunges, my current sharecount is too high;
if stock soars, my current sharecount is too low!
Have a good day Why, and likewise to my fellow Whaites !
WOW! There is enough of steam in here tonight to fog up Why's ego.
Pfrenz, double check the recommended dosage on that estrogen medication. Taking too much causes PMS-like symptoms.
From Post # 328: " Looks like you may have struck a never Pfrenz."
Yikes! Don't ever, ever stike a never!
From Post # 324 : " I'm not calling anybody,- anymore. "
That shouldn't be a problem. It is when you do call anybody,
anymore that causes resentment.
" Count Peterson o-u-t."
Was he knocked out? Is there a rematch? Did he suffer any damage to his never?
If you blinked today you might have missed that bid/ask of
.083 X .085. Had my shopping cart out today ( the one Pfrenz was contemplating living in during the very lean, dark days of WHAI ) but the stingy MM's dropped very few shares into it.
Right now, very few shares available in the .08's. Not surprised we stalled today as we approached the mid .09's. Maro must be again unloading some of his 28 million shares in that area, especially since he informed the board we are going
to .50. Wish he would tell us stock is going to .04, then with certainty we will know that he and his clones (a.k.a. Andres) will be buying and providing the demand to propel us past .095!
Psst! Peterson is i-n. As: in the picture! The question is:
Is he in the foreground or the background? and Why?
Remember, while it seems that nothing is changing-you can't change the fact that life is ever changing !
OT pfrenz:
My condolences to the girls. They are still perplexed why you told them that when they were going to visit New York City they were going to see King Kong on top of the Empire State building!
P.S. Getting through the 8 cent spectrum should be no herculean task, but there was quite a bit of suppy Monday in the the .095 zone. Come on "Trumpster of the West", sell a property and absorb that mid 9 cent supply!
Good evening! Re. post 281: last 10 trades. Two of those ten were my buys at .083. Placed a substantial buy, day order, yesterday before market opened at .085, but received no execution. Last week essentially nothing was for sale at .08.
Previously, had a hefty WHAI position (7 figure share count), but I cashed out of most of those shares. Although technically now may not be the ideal time to add a lot of shares, I'm getting somewhat impatient to again build, at least, a modest position. Total bought today: 50,000 shares. For about a week, I've been "hitting" some asks at .085 and under, while simultaneously been "sitting" under bids : therby providing support.
Never posted on RB, but read the WHAI thread there daily: very entertaining. MVP (Most Valuable Poster) on that board was "speed". Best disposition, except when suffering bouts of the dangerously infectious PMS, Pfrenz.
My decision to buy this stock in the past month is a by product of having traded stocks on a full time basis for many, many years. No investor is infallible. It is a game of probability!
Good luck longs!!!
Evaluate poster's wisdom by what THEY say!
" ..I expect it (PBLS) to go sub penny before the end of the year.... Hope you are not over extended "
by The Free Nebula , post # 8215, 12/23/05
Conclusion: Someone has been dangling many carrots on this board and many are, in essence, devoid of financial nutrition.
If consumed, they will cause dis ease.
Have a good day shareholders!
OT Whatever life's tribulations were pressuring you yesterday, set them aside today, and fully enjoy whatever holiday you celebrate ! Peace to all !
< There aren't any IRAs that have pink stocks as part of the portfolio. >
Thank you for revealing the extent of your knowledge with this board. It allows us to more accurately evaluate your opinions about PBLS !
I'll stand behind the validity of all posts I have made here, the contents of which weren't greeted very warmly. The unbridled, rampant enthusiasm for this stock in the past, which I didn't share, was bound to lead to disillusionment. Now I think the general doom and gloom here may be overdone. I have just added substantially to my holdings. Best of the lot was at .0133. I have made NO calls to PR or Paul, Ron, et al. and don't plan on making any. I have done some DD. I am very well versed in TA, know the risks inherent in playing the pinks, an aware that I can't always buy at the bottom and that I might be wrong, but I think the share price will be higher in January and I'm not betting over my head!
It is only a game. Enjoy life while you are healthy! Have a good day!
Thank you for the straightforward response!
Monkey, I think the numerous FACTS you have posted on this board are definitely useful. Accurate answers to questions that your research raises, leads to a better understanding of what PBLS is.
You have spent considerable time investigating people, places , and things related to PBLS. As a result of your extensive efforts to evaluate PBLS , are you currently a shareholder ?
Cowboy, care to share some SPECIFIC FACTS with us that prove what "monkey" reported about Raptor is innacurate? Secondly, would you post some CONCRETE EVIDENCE that clearly demonstrates RAPTOR's long term, OUTSTANDING track record!
Thanks!
"Monkey ", I reached the same conclusion, in a post on this board the other day, questioning the wisdom of hiring Raptor. Companies are judged by the company they keep. PBLS could have, and should have, selected a more prestigious company to represent them. If PBLS is serious about reaching lofty corporate goals, they need to walk the path of excellence, not mediocrity!
< I know someone who had a .0235 in all day and it wasn't AON and it didn't fill till 30 minutes before close...>
Mike, now you know someone who WAS filled for less than .0235
between 2 and 2:30 - me !
"Cutting" NO chance your oder to buy 500,000, AON, at .0231 would have been filled today.I couldn't get any at that price and I usually get great executions.
< Yeah institutions that own a pink sheet stocks...lol >
Mike, healthy to laugh, but not at the above statement. Contrary to what many people think, I am absolutely CERTAIN that institution have and do own stocks listed on the pink sheets.
PBLS, certainly would not be a candidate for them to purchase at this time.
Fidelity, for example, bought MILLIONS of shares of HLSH when HLSH was trading on the pinks. Many other institutions did likewise. I could dig up a link if necessary, but I assure you that my information is accurate. This is not a common occurence, but it has happened, and can and does happen.
The idea that NO institutions can own a stock priced under $5 is also a myth.
I concur with you that the brassbulls.com website is abominable. It is ironic that Brass Bulls Corp. attempts to distinguish itself from other companies that offer like services because of their professionalism, yet their website is UNprofessional.
1. Unless it is my computer's inadequacies, when you click on "Home" in the menu - you get nothing!
2. When you click on "Newsletter" - you get the word: Newsletter !
3. When you click on " Become a client" - you get nothing !
4. Clicking on "References" yields 8 references - four of these are from one of their clents. I think I'm a nice guy.
References: my mother, father, brother, and sister. Eliminate this option unless you can provide exceptional references.
5. Clicking on "About us" informs the reader that Brass Bulls desperately needs to employ an editor.
For example, "Butthis is " appears in second paragraph. First of all it is disgraceful that the "Butthis" is one word. Secondly, it would be preferable to write: This, however, is ...
6.Clicking on " Disclaimer" reveals nothing that even resembles a disclaimer.
Conclusion: Abysmal website. It is the antithesis of professionalism! If PBLS receives the quality of service represented in "bull's" internet fingerprint, then PBLS just hired Brass Balls Corp. Come on PBLS; make excellence your goal, and success will follow!
Mike, you are an asset to the board. You have your head properly screwed on and focus on level 2 , calling it as you see it! Dollar amount of daily trading in PBLS is like a grain of sand for NITE. JEFF, for example, has been dominating trading in HLSH for more than a year. If Jeff is on the ask of that stock, it is unlikely it will go up, and that stock averages about $6 million in dollar volume per day. Point is,it isn't all manipulation, but the MM can move boulders, no less sand.
PS I make no claim to bing an expert on MM's. Somehow, my name once got on a list indicating that I was a market maker. I was getting many calls from PR people. Very interesting.
Have a good day!
