Ok guys... Can we all just get along...
First, Grape stated that there was a winter meeting of NAAG and MSA was not on the agenda. The next meeting is in June. Now, what I don't know is if the approval of MSA is dependent on a meeting. If it is, then XXII theoretically won't be notified of a decision until after said meeting. Now, with that being said, if the MSA decision can be made at anytime then the meeting agenda and schedule is irrelevant. And, I might add, not everyone who's comments are discouraging are 'short'. ( I happen to know Grape as he is a local Buffalo investor and he is not short). As most of you know I am a long investor and often times a cheerleader.. I have been quiet because my mother always told me 'if I don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all'. As I said, I am in investor in this company and am weathering the storm. Good things are ahead. Good luck to all!
If this meeting is like the last one... I will be one of 3 women there...
Thanks! I will report back to the group as I'm sure others will as well.
Yes... April 12th.
So... Who is planning in attending the meeting on April 12th?
Thanks Dane!
Not the only one... I haven't sold a share... And don't plan to... We're in for the long haul.
Just drove past the XXII office on my way to my daughters orthodontist appt... Maybe I should pop in and say hi...
We attended this past summer... And will most likely attend future meetings.
Officially up 200% on my XXII investment! Too good not to post!
Yup... That's it... I drive by it all the time!
That makes more sense...
Sorry... Other way around...
Why is the ask $1 and the bid $3?
Yup! 12 degrees today baby! There here because it's home... We are very glad to have them stay local!
Yup... I was at the share holder meeting.
No way!
If there's going to be a XXII get together in Buffalo let me know! It would be fun to meet some of you face to face!
I'm still here... Lurking daily... Sitting on my shares like everyone else! I'm in this for the long haul.
Ok... I have to ask... What's a 'T' trade? I'm so lost with all of the stuff you guys have been talking about. Other than the info on this site and the standard 'stocks' app that comes with the iPhone I don't use any other tools to follow stocks. (Keep in mind this is the only one I own) Where do you guys get all of this info from... And what does it mean? How do you know who's buying/selling what and how much?
Lol... Nope. Baseball caps with the logo.
Yup... My husband and I got there just in time to say a quick hello to Henry and Joe and get a drink. (And our hats). And yup... I'd say between 50 and 60 people.
It was kind of hard to gauge. The meeting began very business like... Going through all of the voting items. Then there was a keynote speaker who was ok... I think everyone was just kind if waiting for him to finish so we could get to the questions. Then the guy who asked about the purchase of the company and equipment was kind of critical and slightly confrontational... So things got a little tense. The most I got out of it was the body language from Henry and Joe when they talked about the end if third quarter deal. They looked like the cat who ate the canary. (IMO). I guess we'll all find out Monday.
So...interesting meeting. No big announcements... Other than beginning the question period with an announcement that many of the questions we wanted to ask they couldn't answer. There was one gentleman there who questioned the recent purchase of equipment and company. This was answered well by Henry stating big picture and the need to be included in the MSA. The biggest non-announcement came after the question regarding previously reports of the deal at the end of the 3rd quarter. They're response.. with big smiles... Was that they stand by the previous announcement. There was then murmuring about today's date... And the looked at each other... Smiled... And said we stand by our previous announcement.
It was a small group... Mostly men.. They had snacks and a small band at the end. Overall a good time.. Monday should be interesting.
On my way to the meeting!
I will be attending the meeting.
I will be attending the meeting and will provide an update ASAP!
I also live in the Buffalo area and heard the same thing. My husband went to HS with Henry and has had many conversations with him in the past. It does seem that they are keeping quiet as of late, we haven't personally heard from Henry since the Washington Post article. (Other than confirming we will be in attendance at the meeting that is!)
He's a good guy. Very we'll respected in the community as is Joe.
The fingerlakes are nice... If you're a wine drinker there are lots of wineries to visit and some good B&B's to stay in. If you want to go further north I would recommend the 'Niagara on the Lake' region in Ontario. Again, lots of wineries and B&B's. If you're a nature lover...Ellicottville is a great little town to visit..there is a ski area, little shops, trails to hike etc. And then there is always Niagara Falls...great 'wonder of the world' but VERY touristy!
Thanks! I will have to check for the notice... A little confession here.. XXII is the only stock I own. I purchased it months ago on the advise of friends. I live in East Amherst NY (walking distance from Clarence NY where XXII's home to). My husband went to highschool with Henry. The Buffalo area is much like a big small town and there has been lots of buzz locally about this company. I joined this board mainly to confirm what I have been hearing on the street and validate my decision to buy and since joining I have added more to my holdings. I will attend the meeting and, if I'm able, share what I have learned.
Ok...Dumb question alert! I am new to this so forgive me... Can any stockholder attend the stockholders meeting? I live in WNY and could easily attend...
thanks...and yup...I've been sitting on a purchase made back in March.. now I wish I had purchased more when it was at .55!
Hi...new here... thought I'd share this article in today's Washington Post..
