IMOS continues to do well but I suspect it is pure momentum at present. So, as long as the bull trend holds it will be a leader. However, as soon as the bubble bursts a very sharp correction is possible.
Now is the time for tight stops to protect from a precipitous drop back to $7...
Gold still glitters with the dollar's decline...
Welcome. A very nice day. Any news for the pre-market trading?
The bull run has stumbled a bit but IMOS has held fairly well. The volume has dried up and $7 has been a floor but if this market weakens further then $7 won't hold. However, if the bulls return then I'd expect $8 to be taken out quickly.
Snackman, don't let those with blinders blind you. Articulate and respectful bears responding to serial bullish posts is not a violation of the repetitive posting rule no matter how many e-mails you get.
If WAVX goes to the capital markets for cash, and uses the same techniques as in the past, then forces may be at work that drive the price down short term.
If as most Wavoids believe, the ends justify the means, then it is time, once again, for the bulls to grin and bear it.
Horseman, one must, of course, discount pronouncements from Lee, but with WAVX inside Intel, one does have reason to be cautiously optimistic.
Undoubtedly, WAVX will raise cash and get a better deal with investors, rather than sharks this time. There will be dilution because that is the nature of the beast. However, there will be less dilution than what we took last time and I would expect the value of all the outstanding shares after the financing to exceed the value of the shares at the post cc low within two weeks of the financing.
We may get bumped at the start but this grey horse is a closer bred to go the distance...a classic breeding pattern.
I like this stock. I liked it at $4 and $5 and I still like it at $8. If this bull run holds it can double again.
Chips and China and Japan but watch out for any hostility from the mainland. But of course, gold covers one in that eventuality.

WAVX to $4...gold to $400...maybe you didn't hear me?/e
Once I supposedly knew something I allegedly said confidentially that I paraphrased purposefully as a contingency against the proclivity for these things to circulate was misconstrued as something the SEC might investigate before I was exonerated.
But only I know the truth.
So what!
Bluefang: Who axed you anyway?
Just kidding...
WAVX to $4 and Gold to $400...
WAVX has hit pump priming bottom as expected now let's see if it reverses as expected...
RE: Where is snackman?
Snackman was last seen in sunny Florida a few miles south of beautiful Amelia Island where Jesse is now suffering for the sake of knowledge.
I can tell you he is as bullish on WAVX as ever.
skoal, good to see you following the thread. So, we have established that the greys can run, too.
WAVX to $4 and Gold to $400.
Chooch, you old rascal! From the charts old man, from the charts.
I get $4 from the flag pole on August 4th, looks like we hit an intermediate low around $2.60, give or take a dime, then we get some news and run to $4 which is an intermediate sell for those with a trading bent.
Of course, if the market collapses all bets are off.
To The Horseman: You and me gotta do a beer in the grandstand, at the rail, in front of the finish line with the people, before retiring to our table in the clubhouse one of these days when we are north of $...
Zane Grey was another one of my favorites...

Maggy, just because one is on a diet does not mean one can't read the menu...
But tight curves favor front runners...
Gold had a good day and waiting on WAVX.
Gold to $400 and WAVX to $4
As always,
Jesse
Maggy, it all depends on the curves.../e
Wow! While snackster's away the board is at play!
Horse racing as the soup du jour?
Very cool.
Never trust a punter who calls the "form" a journal.
"Telly", maybe, but it dates him, but journal? Nah, not on the NY circuit.
As for good greys?
Daylami, Holy Bull, Skip Away, Silver Charm, Free House, Wekiva Springs, Grand Flotilla, Alphabet Soup, Fastness, Listening, Shoop, Lit De Justice, Silver Goblin, Maria's Mon, Unbridled's Song, Halo America, Smoke Glacken, Apolda, Timarida, Belle of Cozzene. And we've no doubt left somebody out.
As for snackman?
Delightful in person with a wonderful wife, last seen headed south on 95..
WAVX to $4 and Gold to $400...
Bluefang: 100 Large each? Certainly not! Maybe 80,000 shares at today's prices, though. And, then only if we gave them founders' shares.
Blue, that would be pcfree of David Booth fame.../e
onesev, management does not totally suck, Lark Allen, from IBM, is a player and a prince. Steven is there because of poppa but he is a Cornell grad and sees the big picture.
It is acting strangely and an operation is quite possible.
Agree with the point, but I'm a word smith./e
Mistake? Perhaps, but surely long dumpers who waited for a good exit zone are selling as are failed traders who bought higher hoping for sustained momentum. The question is who is buying millions of shares, more techical types or visionary accumulators. Only time will tell.
Will I sell on a total breakdown on the charts? Trading shares are already out. $2.40 might be worth a try for a trading entry with an exit at $2.15. And, playing the $3 support seems like a possible 50 cent trade.
Zeev, you are, of course, right. Could be company changing is more accurate. Little WAVX is cash poor but technology rich. The bull position is that Intel recognizes the potential we believe is there and that ensures success.
The recent run, while fueled by momos and traders has yet to break giving credence to the speculation that positions are being taken for the long haul.
While this conjecture remains to be proven, the longer it holds above $2.20 the more I can believe that visionary accumulators are buying from long dumpers and failed traders.
SAM, Mega-News-Complex would trump, or rather make the tape. But insiders selling into FATMAN, sort of runs against human nature.....
Zeev and Maggy, there is nothing I like better than an old fashioned stock operation. My, my, if only I was not so hasty in 45.
Certainly, manipulation of this type is possible and while the INTEL news is company changing in the long term, it can be used as a tool of manipulation.
It would take an sophisticated operation with a few million bucks to get it rolling and much confidence in the momos and daytraders jumping in to spike it up into worthwhile land, but possible.
The answer is in how far we fall.
The measure of an operation is not how high it rises in the pump but how far it falls back in the dump.
Weby, don't let them get to you. This week should tell a lot about the volume.
Typical pump and dump or buyers of substance?
As always, the tape tells the tale...
snackman, you probably need to let the debate die a natural death rather than deciding it is over by fiat. To decide that debate is boring is highly subjective and I'd err on the side of leniency.
Anyway, I was glad to see Peter paid back the loan and sad to see WAVX made it.
Avoiding the appearance of wrong doing should be sufficient to discourage such activities when you reach a certain level in the business world.
Fool me once?
24601, and, we are glad they did!/e
Only in the wonderful world of WAVX! Well, I thought the IBM news was not all that anyway, and we did remarkably well after the retraction. To do what we did since Thursday, and not yet close at the low of the day, is the sign of powerful market forces at work beneath the frothy surface of traders and momomentum players.
The tsunami metaphor is apt.
There was an earthquake announcement from Intel that seems like the main event to the pundits.
However, beneath the frothy surface is a tsunami roaring for the continental shelf at 500mph.
You all know what happens when we hit the shallows....
Very impressed by the tenacity of this run. The anticipated sell off at $5 has been handled well so far. The next test of support at $5 will be rather large.
Alladin, we got close enough for me to be satisfied. SAM:The IBM news was in the "not all that" category with the exception that now we KNOW these cohabitations can lead to marriage.
So, the news is good but it was not the news to propel us to double digits....
dcb, there was no pump, just INTEL news, nobody had it. so, this is anything but traditional. True, the volume is very high but so far the usual close at the low dump has not materialized.
doma, you got it buddy./e
yes, Doma, just hadn't used IHUB anywhere but home an didn't know the address...
RachelE, if we disagreed it wasn't about the tech's potential, it was about what the tape was telling us. Without the Big Boys letting us play we were just another wannabe world changer with too much nepotism and other management liberty taking.
My contention was the tape would tell the tale.
It didn't give much warning that this was about to happen but the nice thing about being technofundamentalist is that you keep a position and then pound it when the tape tells you to.
So, short a retraction of the story or the chip causing cancer, it looks like we are in for a ride.
SPIN, I'd rather be lucky than good any day!/e
allshore, just remember I deal in probabilities, not certainties! It was a gift at $1.25 and seemed too rich!
We have a lot of stock floating compared to 98 when we had 25M or so and a much better general market. But, now we have INTEL.
The fundamentalists are scratching their heads trying to figure out how many motherboards fit on the tip of a pin so as to value this company.
And, that's cool, whatever floats their boat....
But we just had a technical singularity, a big bang if you will. Our universe was born Thursday and everything indicates that it will be an inflationary expansion.
Of course, an oscillating universe is possible, that's what makes it a challenge!
allshore, this experience is new to me so all I can do is guess! My most probable scenario is a shot back to $5 where we should sell off hard due to the new technicals and new shorts. Assuming we get no further news the down draft could take us to the $2s.
With any other good news, and y'all know we have slept around, then I would not be surprised by a run to $10 tomorrow.
But, again, the last rush like this I witnessed was nearly 25 years ago and I just don't rcall the volumes but I had MCI Communications at $5 and it jumped to $12 on the news of the ATT long distance settlement suit. Again, it breezed to $120 over two years thereafter before a 4-1 split.
allshore, the I-watch does not differentiate who is doing the big trade. So their institutional trade count does not mean mainstream. When we grab some retirement money we will have made it!
2BS, no, not the mainstream institutions. Last itme I checked many would not touch a stock below $5. Wavx was a penny stock two trading days ago and that is a big no no.
I doubt many liberal institutional types would jump into such a frothy market even if their trading rules allowed it.
We had some rich blood come in, though, and it KNEW the significance of the release before the salient details about royalties came out.
That aspect of the release has not had much play on these boards but it was the most significant piece of the puzzle to old Jesse.
Those that wanted in as soon as it was legal to get in, got in. They were handed a free pass to $5....
Well said Spinner, well said, and I am glad you did not exit that bad trade!!!!!
2bs, we added 20% to the float with the bogus financing (beat the heck out of me why we couldn't do better with Intel around the corner) but we didn't have buyers to absorb the increased offers so we dropped from a buckplus nback to 80 cents.
The first Intel news was not all that (although I got slammed for saying so) and we neared the lows after the euphoria wore off.
This news is, by technical and fundamental standards, different. It has already bought new blood to the market so we absorbed the 20% increased float with ease.
We are now a KNOWN company to the street. Any more news and demand will only get bigger. Sure, there will be day traders and momos and swing guys but get us to $5 and institutional support and we could do something (like go to $10 before a selloff).
