I'm still here and holding my shares and have faith the company will turn around. All that is needed is good news on the 7.5 mil financing and AFPW will Rock!
Sorry, no last I heard about 2 weeks ago was the company was still working on it.
WOW HUGE UP Volume!
Something good must be coming. Reverse Merger? Buyout? New Partnership? I wonder?
Anyone know why there was unusual volume (3,067,650) today? Idea's, rumors???
AlumiFuel Power Corporation Plans $7.5 Million Financing.
Early production stage hydrogen generation company AlumiFuel Power Corporation (OTC.BB:AFPW - News) (the "Company"), announced today that it has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding with ARG Vermogensverwaltung AG ("ARG"), a German wealth management company, for facilitating a financing of approximately $7.5 million through the sale of common stock of its majority-owned subsidiary, AlumiFuel Power International, Inc. ("AlumiFuel International"). AlumiFuel International recently completed its listing on the Deutsche Börse-Frankfurt Stock Exchange trading under the symbol ("9AP") in the Open Market segment. AlumiFuel International's shares are not convertible into AFPW shares on any U.S. exchange.
AlumiFuel International is operated by the same management team as the Company's wholly-owned operating subsidiary, AlumiFuel Power, Inc. ("API"), based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and is focused on marketing the Company's hydrogen generation products to countries outside of North America.
"This Memorandum of Understanding is the first step in our goal to broaden our reach outside of North America and provide access to capital for expansion of our product development and marketing activities," stated Company Chief Executive, Henry Fong. "While we must still conduct further due diligence, negotiate and execute definitive agreements and complete other customary procedures for the transaction, we believe this can be accomplished in a relatively short time-frame for a deal of this nature. The creation of AlumiFuel International and this funding, if successfully completed, will allow us to expand our reach internationally and raise significant capital to fund our operations without issuing new AFPW shares."
Looseskrewz Great posts!!! And Thanks for stopping by Alumifuels offices & Labs, good to know the lights are still on and the company is moving forward.
Anybody know when the shares will start public trading on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange and what the IPO price will be? From what I can tell the current Euro SP is $ 0.7174 U.S. if my math is correct this will raise a lot of Cash for the company. I'm still holding my shares
The volume today got my attention and interest, so I made a couple of calls. Here are the rumors-
The company is alive and well and moving forward. None of the large shareholders I know are selling, myself included.
The 2 trips to Europe were very Successful.
AFPW has applied for and has received preliminary approval for a listing on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange ( this will raise Millions) and they have submitted the necessary paper work to the regulators for final approval. As with a potential stock listing (IPO) in the U.S the Germans also require a "Quiet period" this is why the company has been so silent the last 6 weeks.
Arraignments have been made for more financing. Today's wink & nod stock transactions were part of the financing deals.
It is true there are numerous DOD and various Government agencies very interested in AFPW technology.
We all want to hear numbers and I think we will be seeing them shortly (They are fantastic) maybe tomorrow if not very soon depends on how long the German regulators drag their feet.
Money motivates me to post, you'll be hearing from me-
p.s.
Stock roach....lol....they do not have a big enough email list to move over 8 mil shares...2funny!
Excellent Post, Thanks.
Stock, I have very little new information. All my friends are being very tight lipped. It seems the company is under a "quiet period" which is normal for a company trying to get a new listing on an exchange. I have been told as mm107 reported earlier in the week that the trip to Germany went well, nobody I have talked to was willing to be more specific. I have learned company officials are planning to return to Europe in mid July (3 weeks) which I view as a very Good Sign. They would not spend the time and money to return to Germany if it was not worth it, so something big must be in the works. As others have posted. I believe AFPW prospects are to good and I am holding my shares.
All the patent information I have is in the IBOX located under the Technology section. I do not have a copy of the actual patent/patents you would have to get it from the company or the U.S. Patent office.
moneynmetals, Good to see, ya back and posting again. I'm glad we kept in touch.
WOW! 307000 After market shares Sold. Good Sign $$$$$$$$$
I would think investors would hold their shares at least until we hear how the trip to Europe went. To much upside to be selling now.
Early production stage hydrogen generation company AlumiFuel Power, Inc. (“API”), the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania-based wholly owned operating subsidiary of AlumiFuel Power Corporation (OTCBB: AFPW - News), (the “Company”), announced today that its technology was featured in two recent news media articles.
In the online technical reference resource, Knovel Engineering Cases, an article by API’s President & CEO, Mr. David Cade, was featured in the March 12, 2010 issue. Following are excerpts from the article:
“Chemical engineers know better than anyone the difficulties in turning a promising lab curiosity into an actual product. Consider, for example, aluminum-water reactions as a means for generating hydrogen gas. For decades, researchers have been trying to tap the commercial potential of these reactions, which have the potential to produce hydrogen without the high costs and energy inefficiency of steam reforming and electrolysis techniques and systems. Over the years, there have been scores of patents and technical papers documenting efforts to harness the hydrogen-generating power of aluminum-water reactions.
By and large, these efforts have remained in the lab because of the thorny chemistry and engineering development challenges associated with the commercialization and “productization” of the technology. Until now. AlumiFuel Power, Inc., this month introduced a new aluminum-water reactor system called the Portable Balloon Inflation System, or PBIS-1000. Unlike other hydrogen generation technologies, this portable hydrogen generator requires no external energy whatsoever….and can generate 1,000 liters of hydrogen in about 20 minutes; this is enough lift gas to launch a 5-foot-diameter weather balloon.
AlumiFuel’s engineers also made the hydrogen generation system modular, scalable, and flexible, in keeping with the diverse group of applications that the technology targets. AlumiFuel engineers also are working on other form factors, including some that do not make use of the current reactor hardware. UUV power plants using turbines, thermoelectric converters, and/or fuel cells are one example…..a common thread runs through all these applications: Tailor the reaction chemistry to the job at hand and find clever ways to package that chemistry for the user.” (See the article at: http://engineeringcases.knovelblogs.com/2010/03/12/aluminum-water-secret-sauce-low-cost-hydrogen-fuel/)
In the other feature, API’s Director of Engineering, Mr. Sean McIntosh, was cited in an article in the May 2010 Fuel Cell Bulletin: “Now, voyager? The increasing marine use of fuel cells”, by Vicki P. McConnell. An excerpt from the article follows:
“Early-stage production company, AlumiFuel Power, Inc. (Philadelphia, Pennsylvania) is designing a hydrogen generator for UUVs that reacts aluminum, water and proprietary additives to create H2. The company is also developing a steam generator, and hopes to integrate both technologies ‘to increase energy density even more,’ says engineering director Sean McIntosh. Such a hybrid system has the potential to beat the energy density values of lithium batteries fivefold. ‘Each generator would be activated at different times, depending on mission requirements and profile,’ McIntosh explains.” (For the full article, see the following link: www.fuelcellsbulletin.com. Fuel Cells Bulletin is a paid subscription publication of Elsevier.)
This maritime applications initiative is directly related to the recent selection of API’s hydrogen generation technology for award of a U.S. Navy R&D contract as a novel new hydrogen source for powering future Unmanned Undersea Vehicles (UUVs). (See API news release of May 12, 2010.)
Well said!
Off to a Good start of the week-

BROKE Resistance!!!
Alumifuels has to much going on both front & back office for me to consider selling anytime soon. Having a firm Military Contract in hand will open more doors now throw in a Successful trip to Europe and Alumifuels could become a Blue Sky stock overnight. People need to read up on Arbitrage and what happens to a stocks share price when caught in an Arbitrage play. Start Here- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arbitrage
Please do your own due diligence so you can also see the bright future that is in store for AFPW.OB. You can start by checking out the IBOX for company Information,Pics & Charts.
I am Very Hopeful today's Solid PR is just the beginning. What will we hear next? Good News from Europe. New exchange Listing, Joint Ventures. $$$$$$- SOON - $$$$$$
