Beauty - I didn't notice this one; had not checked the top trading list after the time this one surged. I will have to take a look and assess its potential for Monday.
PPS is already back up to $1.70. Can't blame the paint down attempt - I see those all the time. Gapup to $2 on Monday is still the plan.
The AH drop is bull shit - 100 shares were sold; someone just messing around painting the ticker. Monday will gapup big.
Check out NEWL - popped like crazy out of nowhere today; up 50%
ITEN breaking out big - keep it on watch EOD to see if it still has steam
I saw this bastard move also - figure we are too late. The play was to pick it up before the FB sympathy pop.
I prefer NPD. Not saying cjjd won't do well - just tough to call. I don't like tickers that fly up on a 5 minute interval with massive volume at day 1 unless it rallies into close.
NXTF, ONCO, IMUC and NWBO - potential post 3PM buys to sell into a potential Monday AM rally. Depends on how they perform in power hour.
I see now the big rally was sparked by Google Q3 results - all internet stocks are getting a sympathy pop. I will wait now until EOD to see if the rally has legs. I sold FB into the highs for a nice $1.5K gain - good enough for today.
Markets popping big this morning - not sure why, but everything seems to be up strong. I will probably just sell my tickers into the rally. Will wait until 10AM for my solars as they tend to pop by then and trade sideways afterwards.
On the OTC, keep an eye on NXTD. I played this one months ago, and then this week it exploded. Not sure if it has much left, but I think it has a chance to head much higher and if it fizzles, I am not expecting a sudden large dump without an immediate bounce response.
GLTA
I think $6 at best and at worst, the momentum will fizzle quickly. I am hoping this is a big 3-day run into Monday, but will be playing with a stop.
New to the OTC I see - OTC fundamentals work a bit different than big board fundamentals you will find.
2-day promo? are we looking at the same chart. Look at the PPS when I first created this board - back then we got in for $1.3.
This one could go much higher and I hope I am wrong with my prediction - just took some profits. I think the guys behind this one are the guys who were behind Code Smart. When you look at the chart for ITEN, it does not look like much, but that is b/c of a name change and 3 tier changes over a 6-month period. Code smart was a 10-bagger for those who played it all the way through.
ITED was FICF first
Interestingly, ITED never crashed - traded sideways for a couple weeks of unloading and then went down slowly. That supports holding this one steady IMO.
Same MM is behind UBIQ also. Perhaps this could go to $10? The more I think about it, the more you changed my mind with your post.
I picked up some RSOL today. As I have posted here before, I follow all the solars. Almost everyday, one of them breaks out 30%. To see how well they are all doing, look at TAN - solar ETF I also trade.
FB has been my best big board ticker lately - on a nice uptrend. I have a lot of margin so I can make good money off 1%/2% swings.

PHOT Is Our Top Play For Friday, Again!

Hi Everyone & Welcome New Subscribers,
Today was an overall solid day for the stocks on our 'light' watch for Thursday, especially AAMRQ which opened higher, and went on to close higher by more than 10%. Tomorrow we're keeping PHOT as our main focus, putting it in the spotlight for the second Friday in a row.
PHOT, GrowLife, Inc., has been featured on our blog several times over the past month, but was given a special mention last week after we made note of it's bullish trend and superior fundamentals to other stocks in the medical marijuana/cannabis sector.
This morning, Grass Roots Research provided an updated price target of $.23c for GrowLife, Inc., PHOT, which clearly had an effect on the stock's performance today and helped propel the stock higher.
To view the full report, click HERE.
PHOT closed above key resistance today near .063c on above average volume, which should help the stock gain even more attention before tomorrow's open.
We encourage anyone who hasn't to read our write-up on PHOT last week, HERE.
Our thoughts and feelings on the situation have minimally changed, and we firmly believe that PHOT is the best play-on the entire cannabis sector by providing essential infrastructure for growers.
Not to mention the fact that PHOT also has the most investor friendly capital structure out of all the plays in the sector, considering the amount of revenue they plan on reeling in by the end of 2014 (upwards of $15M).
Look for PHOT to break past today's high of .069c tomorrow to rally higher, but even a break of the .068c level may do it (as long as the stock doesn't open up too much higher).
Keep it on close watch tomorrow & Have a great weekend!
PS: We will have a NEW profiled pick coming as early as next week so make sure you sign up above to receive our new pick first.
Happy Trading!
Great run. I am guessing it makes it to $6.50 and then crashes, although the risk has obviously picked up for tomorrow and Monday. If it falls more than $.25 in a session, I think it will be time to protect your nuts guys.
Nice rebound from FREE today - pull back appears done. Perhaps tomorrows AM gapup will hold; guess will find out soon enough.
The politicians in the House should pass the Senate bill to end the lockout/default in the next couple hours. The market called the tea part bluff with a rally today. I expect the overall markets to gap and crap on the actual news of the end of the debacle (for now) - we shall see. A big market rally would be nice, but I don't see it happening.

Hi Everyone & Welcome New Subscribers,
We are breaking away from the traditional watch list again for tomorrow, including quick, concise points rather than a more detailed approach. Traders like to keep it simple anyway, right? It doesn't take much more than a good 'ole chart, factoring in volume and price action, to decipher what's worthy of a potential trade.
For tomorrow, we are going to keep a light watch on two rather widely followed OTC tickers, both GSAT (Globalstar, Inc.) and AAMRQ (AMR Corp.), and also GERN (Geron Corp.), which trades on a higher exchange.
GERN was easily the most impressive today, closing up more than 39% on it's highest single day volume ever (that we can see), and created a new 52 week high of $4.62 after blowing past it's previous high in the $3.90s.
There are few breakouts stronger than a 52 week breakout, especially when there is volume backing the move like this, so we believe it could continue higher tomorrow and will at the very least be worthy of a watch.
GSAT and AAMRQ are in more of a sideways range, potentially coiled up to make a breakout move like GERN (but maybe not quite as exciting), which is why they're on our watch for tomorrow.
Keep all three of these stocks on watch for Thursday.
With resolution on Capital Hill, we hope to bring back our full watch lists tomorrow. We took a temporary shutdown ourselves, but in all honesty just hasn't been anything worthy of a more detailed analysis the past two days.
May get a dip and rip out of ZA in the AM.
Fun looks over for this puppy - maybe a gap and crap back to $6 tomorrow - hopefully it works that way to set up a nice short.
ASTC running pretty good - promoted Nasdaq ticker
STV is one to watch in the AM also
BITA might have one more AM run left in it IMO. Be careful if you try it, as this one can crash very quickly.
Beauty - I made a nice gain on VISN this week. As I posted here before, Chinese listed tickers have great potential. This one is actually not on my list of Chinese listed tickers, but it sure traded like one. I love the big morning pop and then dump - these tickers do that daily.
For new ideas, keep a watch on this list:
http://chinabizfocus.com/modules/InvestChina/performances.php?sel=performances&perf=daily
Typically, I have found the big runner of the day to dip and rip the on day 2, and some on day 3. As such, I look to play them in the morning. They can be tough to trade in that there is always a big spread and they move up super fast so you have to be nimble.
According to these guys, better buy more:
http://www.financialnewsmedia.com/
And I quote:
"
NXT-ID is an early stage technology company going after a large market. Based on initial traction and a conservative intrinsic valuation (IV) model show a fair value of $10.90/share we see the company continuing to benefit from intensive investor attention to this space. - See more at: http://www.financialnewsmedia.com/stock-investing-business-investing-news/featured-news.php?id=344#sthash.JI3K7wne.dpuf"
I am just a Doctor and will not comment on the valuation.
I just realized I was the one that added this board (see first post); stupid me - should have held onto it instead of flipping it back in the day. I am going over my research on it now - I recall thinking it had a lot of promise. Apparently, I was right (but not smart enough to hold).
Yeah, "promo season" has not been good. NNRX flopped after 5 days, APS has been halted twice, and nothing else has ran past day-3 with decent volume. OTC has been pathetic. Not even any decent quasi promos to trade right now (ie, crap touted via a bombardment of company press releases - I use to love these ones).
Looks like this ticker will have 3 days of momentum. I wish the volume was higher and the bid-ask spread lower, but I may trade it anyhow.
I traded this one in the early days and just noticed it is running again now; may pick some up.
I don't know about it being "the next LOTE"; every other board has a post now saying the ticker is the next LOTE. We need a new successful promo to mix things up - LOTE is old news now
Penny stock blog below
I traded SGLB today but sold it before its big run - same with NGHT; oh well. Picked up some NGHT after 3 as I think it will pop in the AM. Don't hold any SGLB right now. They also mention BZNE - I am weary of this one as its run today was big and it may have a pull back in store - tough call.

Hi Everyone & Welcome New Subscribers,
Today was an o.k. day at best, but there are a couple stocks we are going to keep a "light" watch on tomorrow for continued upside from today's close.
Both of the stocks we're keeping an eye on for tomorrow have been featured on our blog in the recent past, so we will simply reference past posts for further clarity.
BZNE – Potential Continued Breakout - (Biozone Pharmaceuticals, Inc.) - closed up 36.36%, at .75c a share, on over 4 million shares traded today. The stock traded with a high of .829c, where it found familiar resistance. A close over the .80c and .85c respectively should be enough to continue to propel the stock higher. We've highlighted the stock before, HERE, which you can view for more information, including an article from Seeking Alpha. Keep it on watch for a continued move higher tomorrow.
SGLB - Potential Continued Breakout - (Sigma Labs, Inc.) - closed up 19.02%, at .194c a share, on over 16 million shares traded today. The stock closed just a fraction off of it's high of day at .195c, which puts it in a strong position to move even higher tomorrow. When the stock broke to new highs last week, and we highlighted that significant step, HERE, in our blog, it became clear that this one had room to go. Keep it on watch again tomorrow.
The comment is fine - most companies take the position that they won't comment on movements in their share price; it is a fair and safe position to take. Don't worry about computer generated 1 minute halts - these occur automatically according to the rules of the various exchanges if the PPS crosses volatility thresholds. These are nothing to worry about. Somewhere on the intro to this board I posted a link about Nasdaq halts that go over the rules. You should not have to worry about this ticker having a suspension.
Shorts really screwed now - going to close at HOD. I think it will then dip and rip tomorrow in the AM and then crash around 11, but I am just watching for now.
I posted last night that SA author was full of crap and in trouble - don't mess with these Chinese listed tickers when they have momentum; no one knows how high they can go.
I am wondering if AMCN will be next. Don't hold any right now, but have been watching for a bit. Has some correlation with VISN.
The halts are program based - happens all the time. The shorts got humiliated on this one. SEC never presses charges - everyone knows they are incompetent fools. I said yesterday that SA author was in over his head and did not know what he was doing - guessing his margin call is helping this run.
You were saying? As I noted, not a good idea to short these Chinese listed tickers until the run breaks down. Who knows how high this could run before crashing.
Lets see .79 today; the first resistant on dump day
BDP has a new pick out tomorrow at 9:33 AM. Could be an interesting ticker if it survives Day 1. Their promos have done well recently, and I will watch this one closely. With PCWT getting halted, tough to say whether traders are down on promo tickers right now. Second APS ticker to get halted in a row is a big deal in promo world. I am not worried about the SEC in the first couple weeks of a promo - everyone knew PCWT was being investigated by the SEC on promo Day 1 and they took 4 weeks to process the halt. The halt came after the fact also, as the ticker had already crashed and APS had already taken down the promo banner. I would not advocate holding any future APS ticker over night to be safe however as they appear to be an SEC target now. For other promos, I would at least limit any overnight holdings after promo week 3. Note that BIZM, POLR and NORX also got halted around promo week 4. Number of days listed on pumpsanddumps.com is an easy way to speculate how long a promo has been running - just be careful though as they often drop the ball and report promos weeks after everyone else knows about them.
I agree it is coming down and may short it also - I am just going to wait for weakness to set in. I will miss the first part of the crash this way, but once it starts falling I think it will have a few nice red days in a row. Before it starts falling, I have no idea how high it will go which is why I won't short now. The ticker gaps down almost daily and then rallies 5 minutes into open - I am waiting for that trend to break down.
AMCN has a nice chart
The author has been off the mark badly so far. He was clearly short going into today and watched the ticker run 50% - he better have left plenty of margin open as he clearly does not know what he is doing (he admits himself he does not understand the run). These Chinese scam tickers can have long runs and hold up for long periods of time - I have followed these tickers for awhile now and have seen bigger POSs than VISN have longer and larger runs. Just look at the charts on some of the low market cap tickers on this list:
