Well these guys and u can sell ur stocks and move on when the time comes. That's a fact too.
KOP
Just wondering whats your weigh in on what happened to MIKP. I've been here awhile now and seen the great success you guys are doing, but do you think this is the end for them in the greys are is it possible for them to get out?
Yeah I called etrade yesterday and they told me I would have no problem trading my stock once the suspension is lifted.
I haven't bought mike in awhile have a good position but if people want to run I will buy them cheapies when it opens. I would love to average down to around .0002.
Sorry alj14 I didn't finish my thought I meant if he went on the radio only a week ago and all the while new that he was about to be suspended then he would be a pathological liar and our monies would be gone. So I hoped that he was just as stumped as we where.
What would you have them say we new it was coming my lawyers aren't working on it and I don't care. There's no win here. All we can do is wait and take there word for it they already have our money.
I'll say this if Mark wasn't stumped and he new this was coming then we can count our money goodbye and we need to move on. I say this because not a week ago he was on the radio bragging about how happy he is with the direction MIKP's taking. That means he's a pathological liar and purposely took us to the cleaners.
Well I'm just reading directly from my etrade account that says right above it after hours either way it would be more than that trade if someone new this was coming. Enron didn't have one trade go through when the walls started caving in.
Who knows after hour trades happen all the time. Nothing we haven't seen before on this stock or any other.
Yeah that was an after hour trade on Friday.
He could be just as stumped as the rest of us. He was just on cloud 9 a few days ago talking about how proud he was to get the chill removed and now this. Either way we are stuck here for now. This is day 2 guys let him do his research good lord! You see how long it took for the chill this is a whole lot worse.
So true! We didn't invest in Lionsgate people. Let's just see what happens. I do believe if this was done due to something in the past and the SEC just put the smackdown we will be fine in a few months, but if Mark is doing something screwy like I suspect just a tad, we're screwed. I didn't put my life's savings in this pinkie but enough to want to slap someone. So I'm just waiting to see if and when I go on my slapping rampage! Lol
No thanks
Well today.
Yeah I think I'm going to dump as soon as I can and watch from the sidelines may get back in later. Been on this ride a little to long.
Looks like the STT radio shows and the blogs did it. I said a few days ago that these things were not a legal way in which a company can update shareholders. None of what they said can be used against them. Who knows if that's Mark N. voice on the phone, and anyone can say what they want on a blog. Mark vowed to stop writing PR for the hell of it but then he just went to doing the same thing on a blog. I believe if the statements he's said on the blogs and radio are true we will have no problems. STOP ALLOWING IMPATIENT STOCK HOLDERS FORCE YOU TO DO THESE THINGS. Write a legal press release when one needs to be issued simple!

OTC Markets Group's Policy Regarding Caveat Emptor and Promotional Activities
OTC Markets believes adequate current information must be publicly available during any period when a security is the subject of ongoing promotional activities having the effect of encouraging trading of the issuer's securities in the OTC market. As a matter of policy, when it has come to the attention of OTC Markets that a security has been the subject of promotional activities and adequate current information concerning the issuer is not publicly available, OTC Markets will label a security as "Caveat Emptor." Promotional activities may include spam email, unsolicited faxes or news releases, whether they are published by the issuer or a third party.
Generally, OTC Markets will remove the Caveat Emptor designation once the security meets the qualifications for Current Information and we are satisfied that there is no longer a public interest concern, typically no sooner than 30 days. In the case of reverse mergers, OTC Markets will remove the Caveat Emptor designation upon qualification for Current Information or, for SEC filers, with the submission of a super 8-K, with no 30 day minimum.
During the time it is labeled Caveat Emptor, any stock that is not in the Current Information category will also have its quotes blocked on www.otcmarkets.com.
Agree with ya. I'm still curious how he was able to acquire St. James. With what?
Yeah it was obvious what he or she was doing. I'm more interested what KOP & MARK have to say.
All I want to know is what tends to happen to the monies we've invested when something like this happens? Never been on this roller coaster before.
Maybe the SEC don't take to kindly to updating shareholders via blogs.
I think we are good. The stock is haulted not suspended. Definitions are very different.
Trading Halts and Delays
Securities exchanges, such as the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) as well as the Nasdaq Stock Market, have the authority to halt and delay trading in a security. A trading halt—which typically lasts less than an hour but can be longer—is called during the trading day to allow a company to announce important news or where there is a significant order imbalance between buyers and sellers in a security. A trading delay (or "delayed opening") is called if either of these situations occurs at the beginning of the trading day.
There are two types of trading halts and delays—regulatory and nonregulatory. The most common regulatory halt and delay happen when a company has pending news that may affect the security’s price (a "news pending" halt or delay). By halting or delaying trading, market participants can have time to assess the impact of the news. Another type of regulatory halt happens when a market halts trading in a security when there is uncertainty over whether the security continues to meet the market’s listing standards. When a regulatory halt or delay is imposed by a security’s primary market, the other U.S. markets that also trade the security honor this halt.
Nonregulatory halts or delays occur on exchanges, such as the NYSE (but not on Nasdaq), when there is a significant imbalance in the pending buy and sell orders in a security. When an imbalance occurs, trading is stopped to alert market participants to the situation and to allow the exchange specialists to disseminate information to investors concerning a price range where trading may begin again on this exchange. A nonregulatory trading halt or delay on one exchange does not preclude other markets from trading this security.
You can find out what stocks have had their trading halted on the NYSE and the Nasdaq Stock Market, as well as on the OTC Bulletin Board.
The SEC does not halt or delay trading in a security for news pending or order imbalances, but it can suspend trading for up to ten days and, if appropriate, take action to revoke a security’s registration. For more information about the SEC’s authority to suspend trading in a security, please read "Trading Suspension! When the SEC Suspends Trading in a Stock" in our Fast Answers databank.
You may be right on this one. I always thought GRRM would not have any part of ST. Now that I know this I'll see your penny and add you 2 more. The minute this goes public and I don't mean one of Marks PR im talking a list actors and word spreads in hollywood this will shoot through the roof jmo!! Can you imagine if someone like Scarlet Johansson gets the lead part and she's being interviewed and she's asked what shes working on and says SkinTrade a book by GRRM. Who's producing it? Scarlet: Vince Gerardis and Mark with MIKP OMG!!
I need to learn to keep reading. Thanks!
Great news!! But where did you find this info at?
Me too. I would love to retire to the Roatan.
No biggie. I didn't see the big deal on what he said. He said he thinks MIKP was the first of three companies that had been unchilled at that time. When someone says they think I take it as it may not be true. Soooooo.
I agree I could care less about those other companies. I was just curious at that point. MIKP should be the focus not trying to dig for fault in one simple statement that really means nothing.
Looks like just1moreuptick was right. I easily found 4 more companies that chills where lifted. Not that I'm going to hold KOP feet to the fire. It's not like he said there has been only three I believe he said he thinks so. Not really anything to get you gym shorts in a wad over. More serious things to worry and be exited over. Either way there's thousands of companies out there and quite a few chills and we're one of the lucky few that has had a chill removed. Tickers by the way are agij, lexg, sirge, and gdtk if your curious.
I would like to know those other tickers as well that's gotten a chill lifted. Please post.
Hope for the best and prepare for the worst!!
Nice trading this week. Let's look for a slow uptick next week!!
FYI John
Hope this response from Mark answers some of the questions out there ...
Hi (I'm blind copying a few of you on this as it's the same question) -- Please share this if necessary, but the reason you do not see Mike The Pike Productions registered at AFM on IFTA website or otherwise is because the BUYERS, SALES AGENCIES AND DISTRIBUTORS are the ones representing the products--- we are not a sales agency or a distribution company. We are a production company....and the only production companies you see listed are listed as such because they also have distribution arms, etc. (Miramax, Lions Gate). For example-- Saint James Films is NOT registered at AFM-- but our distributor, TomCat Films, IS--- and you'll see our films (Lizzie Borden, Captain Battle, etc.) listed as TomCat's offerings because they are the distributor. For White Space and Skin Trade (and a few others to be discussed) under the Mike The Pike Productions banner, we are only entertaining sales agents and distributors--- When you don't see films listed on http://www.thefilmcatalogue.com/catalog/, it's not because they don't exist, it's because those films are listed BY distributors; they are acquired already. We have not accepted any offers on our films under the mike the pike productions banner yet with very good reason. We've had inquiries from all kinds-- Just a theoretical example--- what if Syfy channel made an offer for White Space. We take it because they are big...then, that night, you receive an email from IM Global or Cinetic Media (larger more prominent libraries) wanting to see a trailer or rough cut of footage. Then what? We've sold ourselves short. It's unfortunate we were not able to do this groundwork at Cannes; Again, shareholders have every right be excited and inquisitive- but know that we as Producers have slaved since March 2011 on this project-- there are investors with large sums of monies in this and many careers can be affected in many ways by the right sale/distribution agreement/relationship. The film is not done, there's nothing else to say about that. It's an effects driven feature film-- It's not a Saint James film and it's not a comedy or drama. I expected this with very good reason to be done by end of year, but due to disagreements among producers as to what should be done with the final edit as well as a creative/financial decision to increase VFX (visual effects) shots, it's taken months longer. That disappoints no one more than those closest to the project- It's Producers and Investors; but it's a near term disappointment only-- Have you ever had the chance to buy something NOW, but knew that if you waited, though you wouldn't be satisfied this moment, you'd be significantly happier in the long run. It's tough to wait. For all of us. But MIKP is not White Space Productions-- It's Mike The Pike Productions-- and we have a lot going on right now and have made tremendous strides in continuing to build and position our brand. Everything we do is everything we can do within our control to be the best possible company-- day in and day out-- and that's all I can promise anyone. I have learned my lessons well in terms of issuing dates and expectations to anyone on anything I don't have in hand. 6-8 months on White Space was an educated guess. It's all I'll give on that. But rest assured, be it 3 months or 1 year, that time frame I am answering in regards to is a final, fully-finished feature film, immediately available for distribution/exhibition. We could 'sell' the film today. We don't want to. And if you see the big picture here, neither do you. In the meantime, we're producing, acquiring and selling other films, successfully and we're actively developing/packaging The Skin Trade-- based on George R.R. Martin's award winning novella--- He's the hottest author in the world right now with HBO's most successful series ever. The Executive Producer of that show (Game of Thrones), is working directly with us to ensure the best possible outcome for Skin Trade. and SO MUCH MORE.
You may need to read Marks reply to laser. From what I gathered from his response is that it's not up to him on when and how the movie is finished. When your stake is smaller than say a larger investor (producers) his hands seem to be tied. It seems like since this was his first movie he played a much smaller controlling role on what happens to WS. It appears he has more control over SkinTrade so until they make a decision on WS he's moving on as he should.
Love the answer and I'm satisfied. The clarity on why we don't see WS and ST on the AFM website was great! GL Mark we're all rooting for you!!
Well that's nice I'm sure if this continues you will continue to buy for 2 more years. I want buy anymore until something in the movie business side is accomplished. I currently have enough shares. I'm concerned.
The answer will be answered regardless in the end. If mikp name never shows up on the AFM website then I will know. It's just if mark wants us to believe in him he should be straight up and simply say "at this time it would not be cost affective to spend $10,000.00 on a booth for a film that is yet to be completed, we will simply be there networking our firm as attendees only". That I can live with and believe. Not pump it up like they will be there showing WhiteSpace and SkinTrade when clearly they are not registered. We're not idiots, at least I'm not.
I'm not here to buy on dips I'm here to make money and steadily progress in the right direction. I also don't like to be told half truths. It's a very simple question. And if we don't get an answer and it ends up going just like last year I'm sure you will get to buy all the dips you will ever need.
KOP
Can we get an answer on which one of the following if any will MIKP have at at the AFM? I'm only concerned because it looks like history may be repeating itself because MIKP has yet to show up on the AFM website?
Exhibitor with Office – Office costs start at $6,180 for a standard office on the 2nd floor. A $3,500 exhibition fee is added to the office rental. To screen at the AFM a company must be registered with exhibit space. Four badges are included.
International Pavilion – New for 2012, the International Pavilion is for sales companies from outside of North America whose countries do not have a National stand. The cost for a booth in the Pavilion is $4,600 and includes two badges.
Exhibitor without Office – For the $3,500 exhibition fee the company will receive four badges.
That's true but as far as knowing if you will be an exhibitor at AFM or not he knows that. Will you have a both or hotel room like Ted explained or not? Will you register and be a real company at the show or will you just be standing around trying to talk to people. I go to trade shows twice a year with my job. There's those that have booths like myself and those that just show up trying to network without having to pay for the booths or hotel rooms in Marks case. You know what my company does when we spot guys like that they tattle and have them kicked out. Just saying!!
